play meta like hambow, MM necro, spirit ranger, condi warrior, pw thief, decap engi. but even if you play meta doesnt make you owned everyone you have to at least have basic idea how o play conquest mode and the class your playing.

TC has the best HOTM community in terms of numbers of players you can see running around the lobby. TC i think has the best community spread we have a lot of RPer so our cities always have tons of players. also in WvW tier 1.

already to many comments but for the sake of arguments i agree that amulet gems be removed, so thats its easier for players to understand how pvp work less thing to worry about. and removing gems does little effect to builds. removing them will only streamline pvp not dumb it down but newbie friendly.

Before you take too many steps.
Think for a momment, why a very high number of high ranked players (Included the winners of PAX) are doing this farm.

We are doing it, because at rank 50, it´s the only way to rank up at a decent path. This is not really players fault. It´s your system´s flaws and reward system who are forcing us to make this kind of farm.

If you give rank points for non skill things, instead a huge amount for winning a match, this is what happens.

Even if you try to nerf it, until this rank reward system changes, rank farmers will find another way.

Summaryzing, we don´t do it because it´s fun, no. It isn´t. We do it, because it would take insanely lot of time doing it “normal” at rank50/60, therefore if we want to have the next rank “some day” we should do this.

honestly this is probably the 6 or 7 times this guy made a thread of the same thing. and its always the same QQ. you mention that jealousy is the reason most players approve the rank balance changes. just you know that rank55+ players are not the only one affected by this patch. present and future pvper who can now achieve the highest rank available are happy with the changes. and all you can think about is why rank 55+ will get to be dragons. i have friends who are rank 70+ and ill be happy for them to be first batch of dragons but not to others expense, thats so selfish of you. i have no problem if anet gives them special titles or special finisher. most dont support you coz i think they are not narrow minded like you.

i like this. coz i pretty sure lots of players have class they prefer to play better. although i like having all the titles from all classes. shows how much you understand about other class skills and play style.

obviously if you crit 10 consecutive times with 11% critchance then crit chance dont matter coz you know something is broken. same goes to rank and MMR/ leaderboard its broken! FUBAR! hence making it not a reason for basing level of skills.

3. power roamer any class
4. condition roamer any class

its stated from devs that you have to have the pieces of armor in you either wearing it or in your bag, its sadden me that even the dragin bash back item and lost shores once that i lost i will never have it back even though i can see in my account history that i achieved those but i dont wanna demand from devs they already made so much progress in QOL.

you know when u get autobalanced and switch to a losing team you still will get the win bonus, thats why i alway volunteer to be switch so sure win bonus.

As the forums are well aware, next patch is bringing free dragon to all! That’s all well and cool because the current rank/reward system is a pile of crap. As a player who’s rank 71 now, I’m alright with not being able to show off my finisher and all that jazz. I’m even alright with being rank 80 4x over.

The one thing that’s really been bugging me though is the fact that I am going to be punished for being higher ranked than 55 at this point. It simply boggles my mind.

I hate to be the one to play the victim card, but no matter how you cut it anyone who has spent a second in pvp over rank 55 before they added chests is getting screwed. Those who are super high rank, like myself, are just getting the D even harder.

I mean, I partook in the system you created more than most of your playerbase. In PvE and WvW that means something. But because I’ve PvPd I’m now going to receive less rewards than those who didn’t. Honestly it doesn’t matter too much. It’s more symbolic than anything…

Could I at least get an apology? “Sorry for kittening you for playing our game” would be fine :P

Edit: What I mean is that chests are not going to be retroactive. A player who is currently rank 55 will receive chests all the way up to dragon rank, 35 or 36 according to Evan. Because I am rank 71 I will receive 9 or 10 chests…

this really sucks i know but you have to think they only want whats best for the majority of pvp players who complains bout the unachivable time needed to reach max level also. im with you that 70+ players shouldnt be bone about it. i say the everyone who will be bump up to rank 80 should get the same amount of chest reward/loot. hope that makes everyone happy. i hate that some of your peers makes multiple QQ threads about new rank balances.
