Well in the last 2 weeks I’ve been able to aquire 7 Precursors in the mystic forge with minimal gold considering you’re filtering alot – 2 Dusk, 2 Zaps, 1 Spark, 1 Legend, 1 Storm by putting in stones + 3 76 exotics or 80 rares.

What I’m actually more concerned about then the price of precursors is the insane prices of jack alop…. how am i ever going to get a cute rabbit pet!

Besides that anet needs to be fair and keep the other precursors high in demand by making other combinations of eternity like 2 incinerators to make inferno/ ifrit!

I hope you know there are maybe 2 or 3 players on this planet who get the same amount of precursors you got. You know it, right?
I wasted 10g of 80s, was more than enough to understand i was wasting my money and time.

Because as you said, they are key mats for legendary weapons. So yes, grind gold until you’re rich enough is part of it. Complains are not listened , why bother

Lodestones in general have a mad price because of halloween weapons, say thanks to Anet. And yes, they drop as usual, 1 every 10 runs or less.

I just suggest to the OP to quit in peace, and log back next year. Maybe finally Anet will understand they have to listen the community, and things will be better when you’re back. As much (looking the past ) will be just worst. In case, wait 1 year more (then 2, 3)

The OP post is the exact reason because i just stop to waste my money and time for a precursor. I should have abuse of it when was possible, prenerf. Now, as the OP wrote, is a true waste of 100 weapons , for get just trash. 1 in a million? Amen, i’ll do something else.

Devs recently said they was planning to put online a better drop rate, testing it.
Maybe will arrive for the big november 15th update, i hope. Because the actual loot table is blue green blue green rare blue green blue blue blue green. Just trash.
I wasted 10g of cheap rare 80s attempting a precursor. I get back an awesome amount of rare trash, not even exotic, i just left, i’m using my money for something else, until we will have a better drop rate. No more time or money to waste on my side for a stupid lottery.

MF doesn’t work on chests, if you got a precursor, you won the lottery, because exotic dropping from dragon chest is uber rare, precursor is 1 in a million.

Farming? Well, they are BoA, so when done, why delete again?

Yes, complains are about drop rate. Why drop rate even existed? If they was just crafted weapons, expensive to craft, a rare weapon just a tiny number of players was able to craft, and smaller number of them able to even buy one, my thread wouldn’t exists.
I wonder if any of you who wrote here remember the first price of Arachnophobia on TP. Was a crafted one, the price was 499.99 golds. Fair price, craft it was around 250g+.

I’m pretty satisfied by Ati products, from years. I suggest the Ati ones. Asus or Gigabyte, both are awesome.

I think would be fun to be allowed to link on chat the achievement a player made (control+left mouse button), and eventually the amount missed. For example: Maguuma explorer: 139/150 areas.

Recipes? Not just i got 2 of them from the chest, instead of halloween weapons, but before drop them, i just bough the one i was needing, (Artificer) for 7 silver. Oh please.

I must admit, was fun to see the lion exploding, leaving a huge hole, destroying the base too.

A lot of people spent over 100g of mats preparing for it, still half way. Realizing 5 minutes later it was on sale precrafted for 20g. Now imagine the anger. Anet just messed up everything making it a drop. Everyone knows it’s the truth. Expecially who wasted loads of gold for mats, before they was on drop. My thread wouldn’t even exists, if the drop of those weapons wasn’t available. My request would, at least, stop the scam is going on, and make the lodestone price normal. And leave us with a beautiful memory of this event, not the disgust most of us is having.
Lodestone, wine mats are needed for way better weapons, and future improvements.

Pure completitionist attitude. Only reason i spent 3 days for it, and finally i completed it.

This is the point: why a demand event exists. This is a festivity, halloween weapons should have just been something everyone (with some efforts farming loads of halloween mats) should have. I wrote on opening a fair formula. Still using important mats, but way cheaper. As it should have been from day 1, but i guess Anet devs didn’t even take a look on TP price of lodestone before, and now. Or the pure lack of taste to even make them expensive like a half legendary. Main reason the forum is filled of complains about it. And who wrote “It’s perfect, don’t touch it” , pretty clear is someone who just drop one, grinning madly about he large amount of money they are gonna make. 0.5% of them crafted them from scratch.
Instead no, a beautiful patch, all weapons BoA (boa can apply even buying the weapons still on TP, when bough and moved to your bag) and the community will be happy. Anet devs seems listening when people ask a nerf when player’s hands are full. Let’s see if Anet now listen who just wants halloween as a good event to remember. Just read this section. More complains than “thanks what a beautiful event and loot”. Am i wrong?
If we just read other forums, all around the world on other language, we will find just complains. Over complains. Over complains.

There were 4h temporary weapons for festivity reasons. If you want halloween whole year, you have to pay for it.

I want an end of this scam, and lodestone price stabilized again, not halloween weapons. Reading the forum filled of complains, we just wanted something beautiful to remember halloween. Which is not the phase 4 act’s “hat”, for sure.

They are a big GAME target. Not a festivity weapon.

We already saved mats from this event. It’s corns. A halloween related drop. Other mats are needed, fine. I just ask a ubercheap formula, not a 2500 corns and you’re done.
As much yes, the formula should have been just corns+plastic fangs+chattering skulls+nougat centers. A large amount, but just them, and a boa weapon. THIS would have been halloween weapons, a funny event, and something beautiful to be part of, and play the event farming mats to get a final beautiful reward. Halloween mats, not important mats like lodestones. Much more, what i find extremely disgusting is how sharks planned their scam reselling weapons after halloween for 5-10 times the price when they was dropping. Anet, please, makes them BoA, and formula ubercheap, is just a matter of a simple patch, and this horrible scam will have an end. If who posted here barely read the forum, should have found at least 1000+ post of disappointment about this event and weapons, their droprate, their cost. We are not even barely interested if 10 players on this planet spent a lot crafting them. Everyone else just dropped one and worn, or just kept waiting the scam days. This is the truth. All of us deserve halloween weapons, not just a few elected players with an absurd luck. This, at least, would leave us with a good memory of this event, at least on last day. Better than the actual fail, and the forum filled of complains.

They are just festivities weapons. Something fancy halloween-related. They should have been BoA from beginning. Yep, people is removing weapons if in time, others just bough them in a rush, doing what we are having now, an uberscam, reselling them for triple price. That’s why i hope the patch making it ubercheap will be accepted and online soon, before the sharks goes rich for a festivity weapon.

I would ask to the dev team, now Halloween is finish, and clearly you received thousand of complains about the price to craft Halloween exotic weapons, if you can just adjust the formula with next patch removing halloween content, making the final price to craft it 10% of the actual price, something around the TP price, around 20g.

I found a bit enjoyable the mad king dungeon. A bit easy but had his fun till last.
The rest of the event, i wish it never was online at all. My feedback? Fail.
If Christmas event is something similar, i’ll save my time for something else, for sure.

Right in time before the end, i did it. I spent 3 days for it.

In maybe 70-100 MK runs I got probably 10 (maybe a little more) sub-80 exotics, 1 or 2 lvl 80 exotics, a lvl 80 Mad King armour piece, 3 or 4 Black Lion keys, 3 or 4 Black Lion salvage kits and 2 Arachnophobias.

Uber fun quests. A superb helm i still have. A mount of a priceless awesomeness . A pure satisfaction to be online and have it done even not dropping nothing (which was impossible, just repeating it 5-6 times, at least for the hat, uber cool). I still remember with pure love the wow halloween events over the past years. Or gw1 ones, or many other halloween events playing other mmos. I just hope to forget as soon as possible i even been part of the pure waste of time of the gw2 halloween event.

The headless horseman, and the entire WoW halloween event is from years, the best halloween event ever made, and every year was even better and funnier, i enjoyed it like mad every year, until i left wow, cata days.

Clearly we will see npcs rebuilding it, and in a few days, restored. Probably updated on every future patch, or just an event rebuilding it, who will force us to be online again to see it at an exact timing. Pretty clear, isn’t it.

So an event giving you nothing valuable at all except a book who needs a re transmutation, no loot at all (except the small number of players who completed the tower for a feet chest part with same skin of Carrion), is a good event for you? Some pumpkins around makes you feel an event as good? Did you ever play an mmo during halloween at least? Sorry, i don’t want to be mean, but i saw way better on other games, even gw1.

Now, I did get exotics from fixed rewards like story completion and the clock tower, but never from random drops or chests.

Pact weapons are rare trash, not exotics. Be sure you’re not alone, a very little number of players around the world got anything valuable from this horrible event.
Even the back needs a waste of 1 fine transmute, to be something useful

I had a fresh install of drivers, installing the new video card. I’m attempting to use 12.11 beta, let’s see. No, client is set on unlimited. Catalyst setting are on default, and even trying the suggestions of the dev on the post i linked, doesnt change.

Just to be clear, EVERY new game i tested runs at 120fps+, even BF3 fullhd ultra settings.

They are, 40 fps. Seeems behaving like if 40 fps fixed is always selected, guess a client bug

THe runes, when you have all 6, spawn ravens when you cast your elite spell. AS a ranger, I really like this. Is it the only armor that does that?

Every armor will do it, if you craft mad king runes and use them on the armor as upgrade

Absolutely not. Not needed for the final ach. Not linkable in future.
And armor uses same skin of 76+ armors. Light version is carrion, a 76 armor haha

I saw no need for an adjustment, I was in the labyrinth for a few hours and it was fun. I was able to get 3 exotics, non of them any use, and non of the mad king’s set. Now I have a small chance at a useless exotic once a day?

Some reported corns repeating it, after you got the mad king boots.
Now people is not even going inside at all lol.
All chest are back to the nothing loot table, champions too, green/blue trash

I guess is the Anet way to not let people overfarm the chest anymore. 1 per day
