Agree, a dynamic role will always work better. With the word “role” i meant the old famous trinity, finally dead. Obiouvsly a player can improve a bit more his toughtness and vitality. Appears as a tank build. It’s not. It’s just a player with higher survavibility , even revving a full bar of players downed while hit, and a terrible dps and heal.

Nice idea. No doubt can be something Anet will do, for an expansion. They already did some contest about weapons, during gw1 era, so why not?

as for bank space that is why there is an option to expand them, buy more bank space or buy bigger bags it is all optional that is what it is, the game is a f2p and there is a cash shop if you choose to use it (for convenience), don’t want to pay money? convert gold to gems farm and get gold and covert to gems to buy more bank space or anything in the gem store

While, yes, funnily dungeons can just drop 6 tokens and an armor needs 30 tokens, and it would be exactly the same haha

I like the MF buff idea. But if something happens, and someone leave, the substitute will join the last part of the dungeon with 0 buffs, and lower drop possible, making feel umconfortable for someone to join, wasting time, except if interested on that particular token, only thing left without buff.

And easier way to deal with torches sync without a voice chat is:
When a player is ready (with 1 add left) type r
when the 4th guy type r, all of you kill the last add.
The 5th type r.
When the 5th type r, everyone press F interacting with the torches. His r is the “go”
5 minutes and it’s done.

Well i play CoE as MM. All my minions except one are melee, next to the boss. The only pet who could make things harder would be the ranged one, creating more aoes. If you’re a necro, don’t cast that minion. Ranger pets are melee and ranged. Use a melee pet, and minions+pet=faster/easier fight.

TA, blossoms can gives you a headache

The dodge is mostly a way to lower your threat. If 4 players keep dodging not hitting a mob, and the “tank” is the only one damaging adds/boss, he will keep sooner or later the aggro. Until his team fight again, and adds move out attacking others again. No, this game is not programmed to allow “roles” , so no tank, no healer, no dps only roles.

You forgot the fight of first 2 bosses from the big spike flower next to their spawn point. The warrior will be struck not attacking , both bosses can be pwned ranged from that spot.

And when aggroing spiders, the jump on the mountain next to the 2nd boss, all spiders and any eventually adds aggroed will reset, if boss begins his fight, he resets.
When everything is calm, if someone is dead near the boss is rezzed, if someone is dead too much near spiders, he run back to the 2nd boss area again, running to the mountain again. I can provide pictures of those spots easily if needed, so they can be fixed.

Just so you know, i don’t lead any generation. I’m just a player who don’t kick someone because new to a dungeon , acting as “i’m a pro, shush noobs and watch” attitude, instead i explain to a newbie every single fight, even the tiniest add. Everyone who met me, confirm it

An easier fix of this stupid wp fight is just makes lupicus resets on his exact starting position inside his room. When reset triggers, he teleport/run back himself to his room.
Lock the door would make a bit harder for pugs a run back when accidentally died. Nothing so hard to program, honestly. I’m surprised so many weeks have passed, and they didn’t fix a kitten of it

I just want fixed as soon as possible those easy skip-all runs, and MOSTLY the giganticus wp kite fight, the most idiot way to kill a boss i never see on an mmo. And i truly believe everyone will confirm the wp kitefight is just pathetic.
I was sure was clear my point, and who i was talking with: everyone abusing the content stealing tokens, not just those 2 users i never gave a kitten nor i remember their name at all, they are a noone like billion others, alone on LA ( i have to scroll this thread to remember their name, and they was 100% sure i even watched their video haha ). Over all, i find uberfun they truly, deeply believe to be the only group of players of this planet able to do a speedboost run. They don’t want to believe me EVERY, and i repeat EVERY single path 3 pug i join do a speedclear with the exact same timing of that video , expecially if the pug is made of farmers. A newbie, on the pug, is the only possible delay, expecially on lupicus. But if the group is a group of random daily farmers, they perform EXACTLY as that video, maybe 1-3 minute more slower (the real timing of that funny video is 31-32 minutes, they still push and believe they made it under 25 minutes haha ) a typical pug is around 35 40 minutes, i rarely go over this timing with random peeps found on LA playing path 3 with a speedfarmer group. Sadly, this is the majority. Who met me remember perfectly my comments complaining about the skip and inviting to fight at least some key nodes, and attempt a normal fight against lupicus , a couple attempts at least, explaining them how to deal with him. If you got the point, they are illuded, and scared Anet fix everything. They don’t think Anet can just close doors around (it’s full of gates, after all) until all adds are dead, and speedruns will just die (and when lupicus wp kitefight is fixed, the end of pug of losers)
Arah is meant to be long and hard, a final extreme challenge for a player who want a final great challenge. The speedrun is just a fail and a smack to the face of the programmers. This doesn’t means they gave up accepting the fail

I never directly offended you, or your fellows. I consider everyone doing shardfarm before, and speedruns like your video today, with those “terms”.
Feel free to play the game the way you prefer, improve it if you want. (Until patched hopefully forever)

A measurement of performance is time yes. Time used to clear a path dealing with every adds, the entire group is not allowed to blink, nor do a micronesimal downed state, playing like under drugs. Forget it, i play for fun, i enjoy the community, not my chronometer. This is what makes me part of the elite of my server, my attitude. Not my timings, acting as a wierdo “i’m pro you all shush noobs” attitude, thinking buttonspamming a speedrun skill is elitism

Me too , i try to evade an useless fight with the giant on path 3, he’s a threat, i hate when he’s aggroed haha Agree, until we will have a patch about loot (seems it’s coming on monday) , kill all adds is a waste of time. But trust me, it forged what today is a list of great players i’m proud to be friend of. Like Rissi, Chaarazard, Malkier and Jukaga, great players i met on a pug i organized, we did path 4 and next day path 1 with loads of fun and pure awesomeness (no beggarskip)
Agree, i got bored of arah too, from when i completed my armor. I was thinking to farm a bit more for weapons but nah, i play sometimes path 3 just when in the mood, if a pug is forming on LA. I have the staff i love and fit my armor too (coe staff), i’m working on an uber one crafted via mystic forge, a bit expensive hehe

Well ye, i remember it because not just i was curious, but much more was the fastest (and most ridiculous) way to complete an arah path i ever seen. But wait, you would be amazed if i showed you a pug we did during shardfarm days , when was possible to jump over the mountain using the tree. Was a 17 minutes clear path killing last boss too with random peeps i never met again (You know, even during shardfarm days, i was always trying to make people stay until the end, leading them if newbies)

5 minutes nearly, yes, if you add all i wrote AND the two bosses.

And yes, you skipped 80% of the path, am i wrong? You fought just a couple adds badly aggroed, the lupicus guardians, gorillas and bosses haha

Just so you know, your kind of speedrun is done by plently pugs, daily. I just did a similar one, 32 minutes, 2 days ago, they forced me to behave (Was a bad time to find a new group, and i was curious).

I can agree to the HC version of a dungeon. Until we get 50% greens, 40% golds, 10% exotic drops (obiouvsly prerequisite legendary included on the loot table) from adds, and from boss chest 70% golds, 30% exotics (no trash). And double token rewards. THIS is a challenge worthing every minute attempting it.

Over all, soon we should see a better reward system, even not completing a path.

I’m truly looking forward for at least an acceptable chance to get gold and sometimes exotics (legendary prerequisite included obiouvsly) from big chests, as expected after a long epic battle. Not a stupid bunch of blue trash. Pure waste of time.

There is a reason if they advertised the guesting on an other server: play together with friends from an other server, wvw not involved. This is the reason you get an error. You have to guest your account to Jade Sea. Then, your party will work perfectly.

Well, it was clear from long. They already made it clear from beginning this game has no refund about anything, for any reason. Example: a formula is bugged giving you mystic staff instead of Melandru’s Gaze (now is finally fixed)? Amen, noone gives you back the mats. Deal with it.

I guess you leave 2 guys inside the cave, attempting to kill her with 3 players. If it’s your case, organize the 4th player (the one near entrance ready to take sparks) to attack her.
Will make things faster and easier. A ranger with longbow as 4th can be a wise choice

You are doing it right. If you want it more challenging (but slower) , to approach it differently, leave every player of your party on his spot even on ph2, leaving the add killed by one player.

A pug pro-speedfarmers forced me to play the pure speedrun. We truly completed arah in nearly 30 minutes, i was disgusted, much more when they told me they do it daily

You really don’t get arah wasn’t meant to be completed under 25 minutes at all, but played in the fullest, hard, a challenge, and what now you’re so proud to, will (hopefully) soon finish and everyone forget any “fast performance for elite players” ?

I ask a fix of every add on the road, no more skippable, and the pathetic giganticus wp kitefight. More spiders crippling, a couple more spider champions on particular spots, some mage/illusionist champion and we can finally forget the speedrun.
A 25 minutes beggarrun is just pathetic, and more pathetic is who dare to wear this armor not knowing a kitten of arah at all except his stupid speedrun with 0 idea of arah adds mechanics, how to deal with them, why dodge and when etc, playing with an arah armor like a funny noob on every dungeon from AC to arah, or just zerging like brainless on wvw.

And just so you know, i’m not on a competition with you or anyone at all about who is faster. I play with pugs of elite players (if and when they are online, when not available i pick random peeps on LA ), elite players i gathered during my weeks gaining my armor, from september, and i was leading pugs of future talents of every path till the end even during shardrun days instead of a fast reset, and path 4 during the “impossible” bugged" “noone in the world ever completed it” days
