Hi everyone, I’ve been playing Skyrim and made a witch hunter build. I wanted to do something like this in Guild Wars, but I’m not sure how to exactly go about it. Since the class is mainly about archery and magic. I thought about doing a ranger or elementalist, maybe even a warrior. Which profession would be the best when making a witch hunter, and also what build would be good for that profession? Thank you everyone

This sounds fun. It sounds somewhat like the infected gamemode from halo with a small twist on it. If this was featured for the next halloween or sooner to test it. I would definitely love to play it.

based on the graphic settings, it is a little tough to figure it out, however it isn’t charcoal or blackstone. It looks more green, so I would check out the darkest greens during character creation and see if you can find something that matches it. I’m sorry that I can’t give an exact color, but I hope I helped.

Hey everyone, I was wondering with all the patches, is the ranger a viable class for pve, pvp, and wvw or is it still not up to par on what it could be and people still don’t allow them into dungeons and etc.

Hello everyone, I’ve been trying to find a class that I really enjoy playing. I leveled a guardian to 80 and now I’m looking for something new since I’m getting a little bored of my guardian. I tried all the professions out in pvp to see how they played. I narrowed it down to a warrior, ranger, and an elementalist. Can anyone give me a list of pros and cons for these classes. Also how good are they when it comes to pve, pvp, and wvw?

I’ve been messing around with some builds for an elementalist and was wondering if conjured weapons are able to hold up against regular weapons, like are they viable weapons? I would enjoy using the frost bow and fiery greatsword. Are they good to use as regular weapons?

I am trying to decide between these two professions, so I thought I could get some feedback on which one would be better for my playstyle. I like to be versatile when it comes to combat. I enjoy being able to melee and be at range effectively. I would like it if I could stealth or use a little magic. I’m also looking for a class that would do well all around, in PvE, PvP, and WvW. I also like to use a little strategy when it comes to combat. I mainly enjoying playing a dps-like role, but don’t mind support. Sorry for the somewhat long list, but I do appreciate the help.

Well expansions tend to be cheaper than the actual game, so I would probably want to pay maybe $25 or $30 since the game is about $40 here. (22-26 euros)

I’ll start off with saying, welcome to guild wars 2 and to answer your questions. There are dungeons in the game, about 8 I believe starting at 30. There are two types, story and explorable. I’ll use the first dungeon as an example. Story mode starts at 30 and explorable starts at 35. Both are great and fun with friends. There are no raids yet, but there has been talk about it. Guild Wars doesn’t use the typical holy trinity, instead each class can be built in a number of ways. For example, a warrior doesn’t have to tank, it can be great for support. So you can build whichever class you want to play how you want. Hope I helped answer your questions, and let me know if you have any more.

I’ve been trying to decide on a main class to play. I’ve tried to play them all, but its a tough choice since I can enjoy one, one day but then not enjoy it the next. It sounds weird, but it might be because I can’t decide. Usually in rpgs, I like to play a roguish warrior type, if that makes sense. I would definitely love more variety in the armor. No matter if its light, medium, or heavy. I feel like it’s hard to create something cool early in your levels and sometimes in the late levels too.

With all the updates that came out, I’m sure we’ve experienced good things and bad things about each profession. I was wondering how would you rate the professions in their current state when it comes to pve, pvp, and wvw. A list from one to eight is good. I was wondering if I should transfer servers. I’m currently on Kaineng, however most of my guild transferred to Stormbluff Isle. With the megaserver system, is it still worth it? I enjoy pve, pvp, and wvw. I want to be able to stay with my guild so we can do all those things. Should I transfer to Stormbluff Isle from Kaineng or stay in Kaineng?

Recently I’ve been wanting to get some high level armor for my characters like the tier 3 armor. However that armor is pretty expensive and I’m not really good at making gold. So, what are some good ways that I can make or farm gold easily?

Humans: Guardian, Elementalist, Thief, pretty much any except for necromancer
Norn: Warrior, Mesmer, Ranger
Charr: Warrior, Engineer
Asura: Elementalist, Necromancer, Mesmer, Engineer
Sylvari: Ranger, Necromancer

What are your opinions on this and what would you choose for each race?

So I’ve been trying to figure out ways to level up quickly. I have been enjoying the game for a while now but I have yet to reach level 80. I’ve tried many things people suggested on YouTube, but it doesn’t seem to work. Does anyone have any tips on how to level up quickly and reach level 80 in a quick way?

I’ve been looking into each profession and can’t seem to decide on which one I want to play. I’m looking for something that is versatile and also fun. Basically what I mean by versatile is that they have options to use many different weapons, can produce a good to high dps, have good survivability. If anything, like a jack of all trades. I enjoy the look of medium and heavy armor so the class could wear that. So which profession would be the best fitted for the profession I’m describing. Another thing is which race would be best fitted for the profession. My two favorite are norn and human, which of those fit the profession that you picked the best?
