I think it is clear to any necro player that no dev plays a necro, or that dev definitely doent play WvW or sPvP, I wish it wasnt so but thats really how any necro player I know feels

in reality only well or condi builds have much of a chance in WvW, power builds really lack the burst and axe mainhand is still woeful, life transfer is still under powered compared to other self healing classes, and minions are worse than all of that combined

as it stands minions are about as useful as the outmanned buff

Gee, PvDooring such a test of great skill, it seems that you even surprised yourself.
At times like these, don’t be afraid to do some Arah chain events, those NPC’s might actually fight back.

You know SoR is losing when all the PvDoor talk starts lol, it’s tier 1… Go cry to someone else.

It is a fact when a server ticks at 50 ppt it is because there are no players so there is no accomplishment there… Also shows the type of character of some players chest thumping in those circumstances where there is nothing to be proud of.

I would have to say it is more to do with the fact JQ is pushing SoR in EB and BG is pushing SoR BL, sure SoR do not have the same numbers as JQ or BG in this time, but to say there is no players demeans the efforts which HIRE and AFS put in, aswell as the other SoR Oceanic and Sea guilds, and while I do not condone chest thumping at any time, would any server not be happy to see their own server doing well in the difficult Oceanic/Sea timezone

If i remember correctly there was a patch recently which changed it so trebs and golems are 30 mins and the rest took longer

but not 100% on that, and cant find the reference for it

I know it was 30 mins for everything but not sure if it is still like that

Elano, your best bet is to contact someone from one of the guilds involved if you believe that is what happened, and try and get it sorted that way (even if it is here in the thread)

Personally I never had a problem with any guild using exploits from TC, I can’t say for FA or DB as I have never faced them personally but I know a few folks from DB /wave, and dont think any server supports the use of exploits and will do what they can to help report/ shame any person using them

sounds like everyone is having a fun fight

use a knockback or pull on the pet when it is healing and you will interrupt the ability putting it on CD long enough for you to then kill the ranger, works for me

The only way it is going to change is if guilds transfer and stack another server to compete or if the super server breaks apart

in the NA T1 we have had HoD, ET, SBI, IoJ, SoS (sorry if im missing anyone) break apart and transfer to other servers

if you look at the current T1 n T2 servers everyone of them is made up from aspects of these ex T1 servers

the only way you are going to get a balance mix of servers is if you can get people to work together to spread the guilds out, we tried this in the NA bracket then ANet decided to end free transfers and people stacked onto the top 3 servers

until we get more accurate ways to measure WvW population on each server, I feel the cycle is going to continue

A lot of us would prefer to stay in the top two tiers, because we put a lot of time/effort into WvW and it would be nice to go to bed knowing that your territory will at least be fought for. I know everything will flip in most matches at some point, but spending entire afternoons to flip home BL only to lose everything an hour after I/we logged eventually wore thin.

So according to this post we can expect you to leave BG in 3-4 weeks? Because all JQ does is flip everything in their BL and whoever is blue every morning when FOO and Co are on the maps, and youre going to be dealing with that same old routine logging on at NA time and needing to take your stuff back.

And seriously, you cant complain about a lack of competition when your server is coming in third. It’s apparent to everyone that you didn’t like all the competition and you can’t deal with losing, so you all bandwagoned somewhere else. Why not just admit it? You moved to KN cause you thought youd get to T1 and thats where you wanted to play, when they couldnt hack it you left for a T1 server. Quit with the excuses.

Wow someone is really kitten about a guild transfer which has nothing to do with you

It is clear to everyone certain guilds deserve to be in T1- T2, its not the fault of a few if the masses give up or the other servers in their tier get transfers which would push them out, they can only do so much, and anyone who was watching the T2 matchup knew from way back when BG, TC and KN first came together that KN wasnt going to make it to T1, but these guilds enjoyed the fights and continued on, but when people feel like any work they do is wasted the game becomes no longer fun so the option is to try to rally the server (which was tried) get new transfers (again tried) to transfer servers or quit the game

Its usually not that hard to break campers, just bring more people than them

I actually do not attack anyone in the JP unless they attack first, then I will kill them

hell I often group up with other servers mesmers to chat while waiting to portal people up

but to the op question no I do not think campers should get banned, it should get them targeted to get camped themselves but thats about it

I think it would have to do with the fact those posters have never run a guild, let alone had to deal with their server dying while wanting to do the best thing for your guild and guild mates

As an Officer who has been in you shoes before, and gone through all the ups and downs of transferring servers, just go out have fun with you guild and let them say whatever they want

and dont let those negative posters from other servers paint the servers in a poor light, I very much doubt they speak for their servers but rather they wish they were in a guild which took care of its members like yours have

ask TC how much we roleplayed when we had our matches, its just here in T1 there is no one to RP with

Good to see BG didn’t give up after the last few weeks. Though I feel like SOR has gotten a bit tired of the same match ups, like JQ.

AN needs to change something before we all start transferring off T1.

I really do not understand peoples complaint about lack of mobility for necro’s sure we do not have any weapon skills which make us jump around but spectral walk alone makes up for it

Activate SW and jump off a cliff then activate again to port back to the top, or hell jump off activate it before you hit the ground twice and take no dmg even from the biggest drops

My personal favorite is to Spectral Walk run through a zerg, cast Flesh Wurm port back to the start of the SW then activate FW, the zerg wont know which way to turn, activate Plague form and run around like a headless chicken while your zerg then smashes into them add to that necros have the best blinds in the game which can be traited to cause chill and you have imo one of the best zerg busting classes in game

While necro may suffer from cd’s if they did reduce them necros would be too op, they are not as dynamic in their playstyle as say engi or ele but they have abilities which can turn a fight in seconds

I would say its mainly for privacy issues, its really hard to talk shop when the opposing teams can read everything you say hence the private forums
While I think it could be implemented here if Anet set it so only if you are on that server you could gain access to it, it still wouldnt stop people sending alt accounts to gather info

If you spot someone abusing exploits report them to Anet and message someone from the server involved so we can all help get them banned, none of the servers here want cheats ruining everyone fun……speaking of fun

that has been tried we nearly had 8 balance servers, then it all went to kitten cos of trolls and ANET screwing up
Laylyn worked his kitten off recruiting for other servers, sending people where gap coverage was etc then got abused for doing it.
IMO its not worth the hassle either Anet do something to fix it or WvW will just keep spiraling downhill, and this game will become just another it had so much potential game

Make Squad chat, just like /m or /t chat and only available while in WvW

only commanders can type in it but it appears to all people on that commanders map

if there are more than 1 commander on a map then all commanders can all type in it

very few people ever join a commander’s squad hence why commander’s do not use it to chat but use map or team

if people join a commander they can type in another chat which will only appear to that commander and he can respond to, that way scouts or camp squads can talk to a commander without the entire map seeing

A zerg can still kill them in about two minutes.

At this point we all know that the supervisor is INTENDED to be invincible. Anyone abusing a mechanic (retribution or otherwise) is exploiting a bug in the intended design. Now granted it is difficult to keep everyone from doing so, but then unless you can guarantee that you and whoever else knows your “secret” isn’t using it, you are exploiting even worse by keeping the advantage to yourself. At least if we spread the exploit around everyone has an equal opportunity and things are fair

I haven’t tested it since the patch, but lifesteal used to bypass the buff completely too. And isn’t considered condition damage.

EDIT: But honestly, I don’t know why they don’t just drop a Legendary Defender (Like guarding spawns) on supply camps that’ll despawn after 5 minutes. Or just make the Supervisor’s Buff make him equivalent to a legendary defender.

As someone who has been fighting against Kaineng, and enjoyed nearly every minute (im sorry but no one likes to be smashed by a zerg when your off by yourself)

I can recommend KN to any NA or Euro guild looking to transfer

they have a very strong oceanic/sea presence and just need a few NA and Euro guilds to give them better coverage

TC is probably one of my favorite opponents, you fight hard no matter what and are respectful

just look how clean this kitten thread is, no other thread even comes close

You attack when you can and defend when it is needed, you opponents outnumber you but still you throw whatever you can at them

TC have been great and respectful opponents for many weeks now, and i can safely say TC would be the only server I would even think about transferring to, I just enjoy the server im on too much to leave

I’m a clicker too xD most ppl are shocked when I tell them this. I can’t help it, my left hand is pretty much useless. I even hold guitars like a left handed person would xD LEAVER THE CLICKERS ALOOONEEEE LEAVE THEM ALONEEEE. It takes about 2 weeks for muscle memory to build up, it wasn’t natural for any player when they first changed, but once you do you will never look back

we nearly got garrison and you nearly got hills, its a pity the wall upgrade went through when the wall was at 5%

that fight in stargrove to take out those trebs was great, wish I had recorded it, I was the insane mesmer who portalled our guys in while taking on 10 of you :P

to the MEOW ranger who I fought at south of hills, I was the asura that allowed the guardian to get away from you, that was a lot of fun, both of us down but I just got you in the end next time take out my clones first if im down you would have got me if you had

Playing tonight on BGBL I think we fought about 3 5mans made up of confusion mesmers all at different location in about 5 mins and no it wasn’t the same group and maybe there were afew other classes but really 15 stacks of confusion in about 2 secs
I think they were from AVTR, annoying little buggers :P

Both BG and SoR will suit you for PvE and WvW

it just depends on which time zone you are in BG does have a more even spread of numbers over all timezones but SoR has a few more in NA timezone but less oceanic and EU players

BG will be moving to tier 1 this week and the PvE community was one of the first things which attracted me to this server

BG has a WvW community website which can help you pick a guild best suited for your needs and server wide voice chat for WvW

I have to say that fight on SoR BL for garrison was fun, long but fun

Great use of siege on both sides, whoever was on that mortar at water gate firing at the cata’s was spot on

and loved the suicides trying to take down those trebs in the field

and if you had of held for 10 or so more minutes TC would have gotten bay, luckily i checked south gate before north to spot that Pink ninja crew :P
