Ok then, if we don’t need to see the target, how can we know when to…. dodge, block, reflect, any any action that allows us to stay alive ?

Great QoL feature but i see a major drawback. More meta. People will store meta1, meta2 and so on, then will complain the content is too easy. And PvP balance will be a nightmare.

I anticipate more open world meta events like Tequatl, Triple Trouble, Vinewrath in the new expansion. Being disconnected just before the end, after you have spent even an hour with preparation and organization , it is terribly painful and frustrating.

I started to think whole GW2 story from the start, point of view of new player. I make a new character who is a Revenant. I play whole core GW2 game and kill Zhaitan. Then I have decided to buy Living Story 2 and play it thru and learn that Rytlock went to the Mists. When I have finish this Living Story 2 and start to do HoT personal story and during that personal story mission Rytlock is coming back. I have learned that he is first Revenant. So new player start to wonder too, if he/she have brains, how can I be Revenant?

Start with an easy all-rounder class like guardian or warrior, after you learn the basics try the all other classes, you have enough slots

There are players selling portal services on lfg section.

It’s fine having to find the entrance and going around and exploring, but when it comes to jumping on these narrow sticks shoved in the side of walls, and cramped overheads to bang your head on, and then having to start all over again when you mess up, it’s really just too much for me.

Practice , and you’ll get better. Try an asura character oru use transform potions/tonics if you have trouble with camera. Only a few jp’s are needed for map completion.

I did some research on this back in the early days of Guild Wars, and I was surprised to learn that about 11% of the male population is colour blind, so I can understand how this request is not one that would serve only a small number of players.

I have seen it discussed, but I believe there are quite a few elements that would need to be addressed in order to implement this. I’ll see if there’s any info to share on this. (And I’m super happy to hear the variety of Commander tags colours are helpful!)

Not to step on any toes, but it actually is 8% of males and .5% of females.

In the MMO genre [as well as FPS games], the latest studies show that population is 66% male and 34% female.

That would realistically put it at 5.99% of the MMO population as Color Blind if the statistics researched hold true to the populations.

To dedicate huge resources, time, effort, and possibly system changes to such a small percentage of the population is just on par with making raid content be the focal point of a game (I’m talking hardcore, no-finder, 20-40 man, weekly lockouts, one death equals a wipe, can only get to the 5th boss after everyone gears from the first 4 bosses RAID). That is not to be so callus to say I don’t feel for those plighted with this kind of disability; two of my close relatives have colorblindness. I completely understand the issues related to it. But there has to be realistic expectations with what can and cannot be done with trying to adjust the game in such a way.
