Mobs could have increased drop rates, Champ karka drops a garantied exoctic. that way people can fight over the boss etc etc.

In most games with open world pvp the gear difference between people makes for a realy inbalanced pvp experience (cash shoppers/24/7 farmers vs casuals) GW 2 does not have that problem. everyone is the same so griefing is imho not a problem.

Is it bad? No I don’t think it is. I’m pretty sure most of KN couldn’t care less if they don’t go back to T2. A lot have been losing interest for some time, even when we were leading the tier for 4-5 weeks. People got bored. The best weeks were when were were fighting BG and not winning. Hopefully T3 will rekindle interest so the game becomes fun again.

The best fights are the fights that are a challange, no fun in just rolling over stuff.
I’m sure we will give u a ton of good fights next week

Altho rolling over [TG] is always a pleasure (jk, u guys got mad skills xD)

I still think we haven’t seen the full might of Yak’s in the past 2 weeks. Maggies may be the elite server, but I think Yak’s can beat them if they both play to their full potential.

Yak’s Bend has an older playerbase so they have real-life responsibilities (work, family) to tend to and aren’t on as much. They also have a few folks taking college finals around this time. So, they haven’t been as active this week. I’m sure in due time they will rally the troops and come out swinging. They might even schedule a raid to try and overcome Maguuma.

And speaking as someone from Maguuma, I don’t think we’re elite, but I appreciate the compliment. “We always have something to learn!” is the attitude we carry into any fight.

Good commanders shouldn’t talk much. Not in text anyways. They should be too busy reading the map and assessing each situation. Maybe they can talk more via voice comms. But really, its not the commanders job to train people. It comes with experience and common sense. WvW is pretty simple. It seems pretty complex when you first start playing, but its not long before you can read a map and know exactly whats going to happen next. Then the pin is just a rally point for the main force.

For me I run solo, defend, escort yaks or run with a small havoc group. I’ll pick up anyone I can along the way when I want to hit more substantial things. But Im frequently watching the map and the commanders movements and predicts whats happening so I know when the zerg is going to be in a major confrontation I am there to help most of the time. Im the guy who just tried to 1v10 you and you thought I was an idiot before my allied zerg ran right over you when you were busy chasing me and trying to farm a badge off me.

i disagree, if u don’t talk much as a commander u are doing it wrong.

U can’t expect from people that they know wat u trying to do.
explain things beforehand, remember that 90% of those people are playing the game to have fun.

Pugs are in wvw to have fun, not to be in the army.

U don’t give them orders, u just have fun WITH them.
If u do this u will see that they are actualy good at the game when u explain to them wat u are trying to do.

the key word is “skilled”

any skilled player on any class can take out a 4 man group.

Open world PK, that would bring me back to this game for sure

This game is certainly lacking something.

3 weeks ago i made my legendary, i was playing 6 to 8 hours a day, now i only log on 1 time a week becouse there is nothing to do besides grinding.

Sure wvw/spvp is fun for a little while, but it get’s boring fast
Dungeons have no replay value
Fractals have no replay value
Open world has no replay value

The game started off so good, but as soon as i hit lvl 80 and they pretty much threw my end gear in my lap i got bored.

I’ll be looking for something tha will captivate me a little longer (i need a “carrot”) and just hop on the wvw every now and then.

Was a fun week, we made some briliant plays and some stupid plays

Highlight of the week was busting into DB Garrison and building Rams on the inside of the outer nw gate, Maguuma mindgames ftw

I swear does every single Maguuma person in the game dance/sit on your face/whatever else they can think of every time they kill someone?

I mean come on, its one thing if its an epic battle that lasts 5 minutes, but jumping someone who is semi afk and killing them in 5 seconds “really” worthy of celebration?

Here is a free hint, if someone never hits you back, odds are you didn’t do anything worth celebrating.

i do it when i kill a heartseeker spammer, if they can’t even kill me using the cheapest and most skillless tactic in the game they deserve a good “dance on the face”

Guildwars 2 is still a very new game, Anet has already stated that there will be more content laster on.

Hopefully this will include things like guildbattles, PK zones, 1v1’s etc

All we can do is wait and see.

Tried to attend (stuck in log-in screen/charater select for 2 hours) / no loot/no mail

But this is by far the the most idiotic thing ever.

3 friends who where not even at home during Karka event have gotten the chest in their mail.

I got diconnected and spend the next 2 hours trying to get back into this sorry excuse for a game am not qualified for the chest according to your customer support.

You are making it very hard for me to enjoy this game.

I haven’t even gotten a chest, while some friends that wheren’t even paying that day got it yesterday already.

-Spending 2 hours watching login screen while you hear on Mumble about everybody and their mom getting precursors.. check.

-Getting shafted again during the compensation.. check

-Raging at Anet… almost check

Anet messed up the droprates a while back, making dye’s drop ay more then they should.

They fixed it but somehow i think they didn’t reset it to the original droprates.

Think positive tho, when you do get one now you can sell it for 5x more then wat they used to be.

The Fractal Capacitor (exotic, 1350 fractal relics) u use determens the stats your ascended back piece will have

Also note that the Crystals give u an offencive upgrade slot and the philosopher stones a defencive upgrade slot

Other than that the recepie stays the same for ea back piece

The minimal stat increase does not justify getting it if you are not enjoying fractals.
The only reason why anyone should get it is to run high level fractals.

Now, if this game had open world pvp (Anet please!!! i want to PK annoying kids) then i would say the minimal stats are important.

wvw does not need ascended, hell i went in there at lvl 35 in masterworks and did just fine.

While i like the fact that Anet is trying to find a solution i seriously doubt that there will be one, simply becouse it’ll be very difficult for Anet to go look up all the accounts log in info.

I would like to ask you to add new rare equiptment into the game.
At first Legendary was my goal, but now that it’s made so easy (and 70% of it can be bought without any effort) i do not wish to own one anymore.

The same applies to the rare weapons crafted with lodestones. now that the lodestones are easely obtainable they will become common very soon.

I’m thinking of something like this:

“Epic” gear, Same stats as exotic, red name

Crafting recepie

5000 of ea dungeon token
2500 Fractal tokens
250 Claws of jormag (reward for killing jormag, account bound)
250 Shatterd Crystals (reward for killing shatterer, account bound)
250 Tequatl fangs (reward for killing tequatl, account bound)
1 token of heroism (100% completion of the Hero achiefment)
1 token of the skilled (100% completion of the Weapon master achiefment)
1 token of the Slayer (100% completion of the Slayer achiefment)
1 Base weapon for the stats that you want your weapon to have (1,5 million karma)

Will this be a grind? Yes
Will many people have it? No
Will some people complain and feel entittled? Yes
Will this give anyone an advantage? No
Will some internet girls want to be with you becouse of it? Maybe, interweb gurlz be crazy yo

At the moment, the Ascended Tier is really pissing me off.

So I’m ignoring it.

I have no aspirations to attain it, no will to farm for it.

I’m just going to play the game like I was a week ago.

And if (or when) people start demanding I wear ascended gear, I just won’t play with them. And if everything I enjoy doing requires ascended gear, I’ll just stop playing all together.

Some people clearly miss the point here,

At the state the game is in now, nothing is worth the time.

Crafting has been degraded to be a simple leveling tool
Legendary is becomming a common thing, still expencive but that won’t last much longer

The banning of the bots was a step in the right direction, T6 mats went up in price as they should be, it’s a rare matterial after all
But then Anet turns around and makes an even rarer drop like lodestones a common thing.

Legendaries, rare exotics (made with said lodestones) give no advantage in stats, they are purely for looks and should remain very rare and something people have to work for to get.

This is an MMO

MMO’s are based on “more effort, more reward”
Stop trying to destroy a perfectly good MMO with the constant whining that all should be equal.

MMO’s need progression and hard work should be rewarded.
