MissDo, if you have opened a ticket to support you just have to wait. In any case, I would like to inform you to never send a ticket more than once, as it only delays the process. What you can do is update your ticket if needed.
Support usually takes a bit to answer, please be a bit patient.

Currently Anet can’t refund items bouht by accident, stolen or deleted. However as this seems to be a bug, please feel free to report it and see if they can do something as this is a special case.

I see a lot of turmoil and frustration in this post, which I see as comprehensible. Regarding communication, the Dev team might not communicate as much because they are busy improving the game but they are aware of everything going on in the forums, as the Moderator team and CC’s are their eyes around here, so please rest assured that they have constant feedback.

There should be no problem at all. Feel free to play when you are on vacation. What you can do – if this makes you feel safer – is activating email authentication in the very rare case that something happens so you can have as proof when you started logging in from the states and when you went back to France.

There seems to have been some misunderstanding regarding my words.
When I said “good or bad luck” I didn’t mean that the people of this thread specifically are having bad luck. I meant it regarding the other thread about “increased drop rates”. As there is a conflict between these two threads there is were I was aiming luck to come into play. It might have been a poor choice of words and I beg your pardon if it infuriated any of you.
