I see the problem. With the screenshot attached I am going to forward this to the team so they can asess wheter this might be a bug or any other problem. In the meantime, I think it is safe to say that you can use the hour check to allow or deny access.
If you are going to sweep the computer for software, maybe changing your password and using a very strong one will help you feel more safe.

By your desciprion, it seems you have a dynamic IP and thus, everytime you switch your router on and off the IP you are playing from changes. There are some easy ways to find out if the login attempts are yours or not.
First, its as easy as check the hour when you log GW 2 and the hour of the log in attempt. If they match, this might be you.
Also, in the mail you will see your IP, city, Region and country. If the conection you are authorizing is from the same country as you are, again, its most probale that it is yours.
If still you are not sure, you could always contact your ISP and inquire if your IP can be made static instead of dynamic, so you wont need to authorize. Whatever you choose, we still recommend to keep mail authentication active.
If you are unsure wheter those unindentified attemts are yours, please perform a full scan of your computer to check for any malicious software.

I see concern growing around because of the supposedly “false bans”. As stated above, this is the internet and anyone can clam innocence regardless they having done or not a bannable action. So, while we can understand your concerns, there is no need to be afraid you are going to get wrongfully banned or suspended.
The team takes it very seriously when it comes to suspending an account and they examine each and every case to the detail before issuing an action.
Still, we will forward your concerns to the team so they can be taken as suggestions of improvement.
