After the new patch you basically ruined it for smaller servers. Server that can not do any of the major event (killing the 3 knights separately). How do you expect servers to rally together and coordinate the attack now??

Not only that but many overflows are affected as well. Since overflows do not capped as fast as a home server, coordination can not be achieved affectingly.

Magus Fall is located on top of Brisbane wildlanes. There are Zoning portal available in that map that head toward magus falls.

hopefully that is where mordremoth will spawn as per the cutscene as we pass the taumanova reactor.

Also ring of fire is way south and is closer to Orr. I highly doubt Ring of Fire will come to play anytime soon

Can you please add an leave an instance button to the final fight with Scarlet. This is really annoying if you are trying to get the achievement.

however to answer your questions, trying to outsmart the anet on exploit a a event is wrong… but prolonging a quest is not as we are not doing something that was not intended. the mechanic of the event is to defend object A, however if i refuse to heal object A, i shouldnt be able to get banned because i want to kill the mobs and move on

If you are attempting to OUTSMART the game developer, that is, by definition, trying to exploit the game.

how so.. if i can create certain build on my character that provide me way higher DPS or healing power or what ever then i can… How many times have they nerf characters traits, or events or anything because they never expected the players to OUTSMART them.

you can farm linen from bags and scrap in iron marches. there is a quest where charr will attack a bridge. Its before the fire shaman meta. The more player there the higher the event will scale.

you can average about 40-60 linen scraps. in about 30 min.

however do this at your risk as there are rumors that Anet will ban you. I personally think the wont but who know….

What’s with all the “rumors” about anet banning players for farming something in game? Seriously, are you saying now we can’t play the game and i should first check the forums, before i join some event in open world? Don’t believe this nonsense.

There is a difference between farming mobs and farming mobs using an exploit.

(before I get infracted, I’m not implying people are using exploits here but this is the reason why farming/bans often get lumped together)

Thats the problem… people don’t know what is an exploit and what is not. Many think that prolonging a quest is an exploit (i personally do not) however others do. Every quest can be completed as they are attended. However glitching certain aspect of a quest can be an exploit. Many of these farms are the first one where we can prolong the quest.

The problem is that there are not definite answer to this as anet doesn’t want to be clear about it. Also another reason why Anet bans players are because people are using bots at farms (their reason why lyssa farm was nerfed). This can easily be avoidable. Anet has implemented certain fail safes on events so they are not repeated at a quick pace, if they believe its a exploit then fix the events. Dont ban people because they outsmart Anet.

Topic Title: Potential Fractals (Replay Value)

Description of Topic Feature or Goal:
There are a lot of instances that can be created with the fractals. You can add some previous missions from Guild Wars 1 (don’t know if you are allowed to but come on this game is a “sequal”.) Not only this but you can also provide additional lore from the research we do while in fractals.

Suggested Idea Proposal Format:
1- You can create small fractals from Eye of the north dungeons. Or Main missions like fall of abbadon or fighting the lich king.

2- After completing the fractals we should be able to go back to the npc and find out there conclusion on the fractals. Ie where the giant silver surfer came from, what time frame that was in. Extra flavor text that can provide us a information about what we have done will provide us a sense of accomplishment other than the blues and greens we really really are begging for!!!

Goal of Proposal
Increase the Fractal Replay value. Yes once you hit the cap of 50 there is not point in doing the high level ones any more. You want to do you daily and done. However if you are able to provide lets say another 5 – 10 fractals this will increase the player base since player would want to try the new content.

Proposal Functionality
This one might be time consuming because you are actually creating content for the game. It can be another living story update. I would also perfer that devs do there research on what are good fractals that can excite the players.

Associated Risks
The only risks i see is Money. time is money and developing new fractals will take time. All I ask is that please consult players before you make fractals so we are happy with what we get. The Thoumanova reactor was good but poorly implemented. This was just another way for you to get Scarlett involved. If the community wanted Abbadon, I am sure Scarlett wouldn’t have been there. I hope not!

We have noticed that our main server is bugged. Our citizen count has exceeded 3,200 and it never resets.

also majority of the defend event do not activate. this previous run we did had not spawned the 3 defend events at all.

anyone else having this issue??

Dont know about FA but EB does have a really active wvw community as of right now to face the higher tier…

however once we drop down we can own the lower server which will push us back up. We have fallen through the cracks of this system until anet does something

this brings me to my next point.. why would you want to move servers? dont you have any pride that you belong somewhere?

I think it is pretty pointless in doing so. It takes away the sense of ownership!

I am up for the idea you will need WvW. It makes it more interesting o get. Yeah you may fail multiple times or it may take a day or two but onces you get the little start next to your name, its worth it.

A legit question. After season 1 and the winter holiday’s Ehmry Bay seem to has lost many players to wvw as they are burned out of it. Just wondering if any of your servers are also experiencing this.

As for DR that is mainly in play for dungeons. I am talking about the fact that being level 80 in lower zones will have a higher chance of wielding level 80 loots. This was set up because many players were complaining of loosing out on the quality of loot as they would travel to different places that are not level 80 and play the game only to receive items that would provide no value.

But as of right now many of the lower tier items are now valuable. This has created a demand of the loot obainable at lower levels. Even if players receive lower level loot, they can convert it into the same amout of silver that you can get from level 80.

All i am recommending is that reverse the policies to receive zone specific level loot unless it is rare or above quality (wooden chest and steel chest). This can help populate different zones as player will go there to obtain loot (something you guys always wanted)

After all you done want player to sit in 1 spot and farm the bags. This attracts bots and you know all of about these bot, anet!!

Back in 2013 there was an update where a level 80 character would have a chance to receive level 80 loot in lower zones as this was the public demand. We were stock piling many unwanted materials in game.

Now that you have done a surperb job on creating demand for many of the resources in game (ie cotton, linen, iron etc), please reverse policies mentioned above to help accomodate players in game.

This would be in the interest of all lpayers!

The best type of of nourishment for your condi necro will be tuning crystals. They can be created from artificery using 5 dust. Depending on the tier you will get different stats on how much is converted to condi dmg.

t1 – Apprentice Tuning Crystal
t2 -Journeyman Tuning Crystal
t3 – Standard Tuning Crystal
t4 – Artisan Tuning Crystal
t5 – Quality Tuning Crystal
t6 – Master Tuning Crystal

I wanted to gift a collection expansion to one of my friend. He hoard a lot of the items in game and is always willing to share and I thought I would purchase him an extra colltion expansion for all the hard work he does collecting.

Its the end of the year and if I remember correctly we should have gotten to a point where we were able to craft our precursor.

We were told from time to time from Colin himself that it would be released at the end of the year. As Anet have stated there will be no more game releases until the end of January 2014!

I have been waiting for this feature for a very long time now as I dont want to spend 600 gold and purchase the colloses but now I feel like I should have started to save my money and just bought it instead.

Its been a while when I raised the concern of the Skill Recharge message during last patch.

I have noticed it was not removed or it altered. Are there plans to alter this? Can you please remove this feature as it was not required as it removes your chat way up.

i already suggested this. They did it twice with guild wars 1 and it work out great. The winning weapons were some of the most sought after in game.

I was pinging one of the armor piece from the clock tower and one of my guildie notice my name was cut off.

the actual name is my little warrior but when i pinged an item it would say my little warrio. i tested it with an onxy core as well and it clipped my name. I had asked my other guild mates to try but their name was correct.

getting level 20 is not hard. Just complete the starting zone and you should be around 15ish. Whats annoying is that I too dont have any characters to use this on anymore. I used 1 for my engi and now the remaining 7 are going to be useless!

please allow us to increase beyond lvl 20 but instead of 20 levels reduce it down

Back in 2005 and 2007 we had the opportunity to create weapons design to be brought into the game. How about giving the players the options of creating a legendary and have the winner of the design see their creation put into the game.

This went extremely well for guild wars 1. For example the BDS (Bone Dragon staff) was the most highly sought after staff.

Tons… You will need about 1800 fractal relic if I am not mistaken. This will get you the beta back piece which is ascended.

Also dont forget you will need 250 ectos for it…

Put in another 250 ectos and 500 more fractal relic. For the shiny back piece

I think the way they are doing with Living Story is fine. The only thing missing is that not much changes in the world after these events….

Also those stories are not in the game they are on website that are associated with the game. I dont have to time to search for this when I want to spend my time in game and play.

Or you can be smart and start your very own personal guild… Buy the letter of commendations and then use the influence to build your self a guild storage. I recently did this and I will soon have 150 extra bank slots for random stuff to fill with.

Danikat pretty much nailed it but the problem many players face are the sample size. Since there are very few places that will provide you a lot of mobs all at once you can not see if magic find is in play.

I personally seen how magic find would get me rare items doing the same farm with magic find and without magic find.

I haven’t log into guild wars 2 since Thursday the 15th of August. I have been busy with work and I didn’t have time to play until today Sunday 19th at 12:00 am UK time.

Now the problem is that I was resetting my password on Origins and I didn’t receive it so I checked my spam box only to find out I was wrongfully banned for botting. I NEVER use bots in any games. Can someone please tell me if this is true or was the email in my spam folder as a scam or phishing

And second if this is true can you explain under what circumstance you claim that I was botting. The following is what was written in the email:

unfortunetly obtaining achievement is a wy to showing one’s dedications towards the game. If you keep on doing things mindless you wil burn your self out.

Yes some achievement are soooo dull thakittens better to get help then actually do them by your self.

to a certain extent you are right but to others you are not. For example the keg brawler, costume and the drinking games are soo poorley thought out since not many do this kind of cntent and that it would be easier to get a friend to assist.

also now they provided more motivation into obtaining achievement oints then why stop us in doing them.
