I went to the mist on my character and tried to do tournament but I “lost connection”.
Then I tried to log in and it said no connection. After a while it worked and I tried to go to that char, but it said “no connection” in the loading screen. I tried 3 times and it didn’t work.
Then I decided to try on an other character, and I got in. Then I tried to waypoint to Rata Sum on that character, but again in the loading screen, “no connection”. Now I can’t log in to that char either…

Didn’t affect me. I still love playing, especially now that I can shoot Rainbow Unicorns, I never get tired. Also, now I’m getting some high-end exotics for my second char, so it keeps me in the game. And after the exotics I’m going for a second legendary (for that alt) so I don’t think I will run out of things to do.
Well it’s not that bad, I still want a Mesmer in my party, atleast he/she can make it still faster, just not that fast. I would be mad, if TW would have been the only Quickness skill brought down to 50%, but it’s not a big problem as all Quickness is now 50%.

10/30/0/0/30. 20% MW dmg in domination and the third major trait in Dueling is Phants have Fury. All others are the same.

Crit chance (no stacks, no food): 46%, if I remember correctly. 60% with stacks, no food. This is good for dungeons, because you don’t need many stacks to get over 50% chance, as you may die losing all stacks
Crit dmg: 91% (no food, no Air runes)
Health: a bit over 16k with WvW bonus (while not in an overflow)
Toughness: 1130 or something. Enough for me to take any big hit in CoE. Even Alphas Ice strike (only if followed by Mantra Condition Cleanse)
Power: Can’t remember, I think over 3k.
Skills:
Healing: Ether Feast
Utility 1: Blink, Sig of Inspiration in dungeons, because I usually run with a Guardian, so I can double the 12 stacks of Might on my allies. Followed by TW
Utility 2: Mantra of Recovery. I simply can’t live with this cond removal. Especially in CoE. In WvW I take Decoy.
Utility 3: Mirror Images. I love bursting, so I need this.
Elite: Time Warp. In WvW I take Mass Invisibility
Overall: I think I’m doing as much dmg as I used to do with the 20/20/… build, but now it’s easier to me to keep up high crit chance in dungeons. Only thing I miss is 15k crit iWarlock in group events. Also yesterday I catched and killed a d/d ele! Lol achievement
We made a 5-man team specifically for Komali, if he was going to be part of the bounty.
1 Mesmer, that takes the 25 stacks of Might and then transfers them to the 4 high dps players. Komali scales too much, if you have lots of people killing him, so that’s why you should make a small but high in dps team.
Updating once again (yaay!). Nymeriali has gotten lots of compliments on her look, people are especially noticing the flower in her hand. Only thing I don’t like in the pics is that Nym isn’t Glowing.

You know that attack Risen Priestess of Lyssa does, the one where she evades attacks and teles around while creating clones? Now that’s what I want. Make it tele 3 times, creating 3 clones and every time you tele clones and you get the Blink effect so the enemy won’t know who is the real Mesmer. Duration could be like 5 seconds, because it seems 5 sec evading all attacks could fit an Elite.
Hmm, I think I could try 20/20/0/0/30 build. I think I can’t live without piercing arrows, since I do use SB quite a lot. I have full Berserker gear but it hasn’t been a problem so I don’t think it will be bad in this build. I play mostly dungeons and openworld PvE (dragon events, Temple events… stuff like that) but I do wonder off to wvw once in a while.
Hey it’s me again and I’m starting to get a second Legendary and I’m literally starting with nothing. So here I go again:

3.I’m working on Gift of Mastery. I probably have enough karma for it. I have over 100SP on my alt, who will make the Bloodstone shard. My main has 70SP and will use them for Clovers. I got Gift of Exploration ready. I have 200/500 Badges of Honor.
4.I’ll do Gift of the Howler as I farm money. When I farm money I get the SP and karma, so I’ll finish my Mastery first. I’ll buy Howl after Gift of the Howler and last (again) stack of ectos and all T6 mats (will do clovers at the same time I do Gift of the Howler).
I don’t think I’m 100% sure if I can make another Legendary, so I’ll take it slow. Also I want to see the new legendaries before I get something that’s only good for Howler. Things like 100 runestones I can buy.
Type: Skill/Shout/“Search and Rescue”
Short description:This Shout is really useful in dungeons, but it fails too often. Everytime I use this I hope the pet will start the ressing.
Why is this that urgent:Because we need a reliable ress skill just like all the other professions have. Even if some might be bad (imo Illusion of Life) they atleast work.
This same goes for Lick Wounds although I think that after the latest patch this has worked 100% of the time, but I’m not sure.
I got Twilight today, wanna know how I got Dusk? I farmed my kitten off in CoF p1, salvaged all tokens I got and sold the ecto, selling all rares/ritual bags/exotics/etc that I got (I sold the rares, because salvaging averages out at about the same gold income -> 1 rare = 1 ecto on average, also selling rares is guaranteed gold whereas salvaging could be seen as gambling). Every bit helps. I was able to get about ~200-300g per week (~30g per day) doing this. It also helps if you have alts (I have 8 level 80’s when I was farming CoF), because they’ll get more token rewards each day, which will result in more gold income for the same amount of time invested running CoF p1.
After throwing away 300g (1500+ rare Greatswords) in the forge and getting nothing, I knew the mystic toilet wasn’t going to give me what I wanted.
So my advice to you is: Use the tokens to get ecto and sell them on the TP. Don’t feed Zommoros the troll. The only thing he’ll give you is disappointment.
(Bought Dusk for 500g off TP btw, I want to give a quick thank you for the person that decided to sell Dusk to the highest current bidder (me!) instead of listing it at 600g. The 2 hours I sat waiting near the TP to make sure I was the highest bidder at all times hasn’t been in vain.)
Which salvaging kit do you use? I..spend 6g to buy black lion salvaging kits.
I encourage you to do exactly this, I farmed CoE (awesome drops and tokens) and CoF (tokens and fast) and with tokens I bought rares which I salvaged into ectos (which I kept). Now that I still do this (completed my legendary already) and sell the ectos the profit is much bigger.
@Direngray I used Master Salvage Kit (I save my Black Lion Kits to exotics with good upgrade components).
I did a few Sigil changes to the Hybrid build:
MH Air
OH precision stack Sigil
Staff Force.
Because I do mostly (only) dubgeons I feel like I need that stacking Sigil on my sword. Now I don’t need to worry if I have staff equipped when killing foes. Air Sigil is because I have no money for Fire Sigil.
Staff has Force, because it’s the only one I could think of.
This is a really big problem. People are getting on overflows and the lag is so massive, sometimes I know I attack but there won’t come any dmg numbers.
Yes, there is a dagger wielding phantasm, but have you ever seen the dagger? It isn’t a mist dagger, it’s just a regular “solid” dagger, which skins name I can’t remember.
The ones wielded by Mesmers Phantasms are the “true” mist weapons.
There is one undocumented change:
When swapping/stowing pets out-of-combat the swap/stow won’t go on full recharge, but has 1 sec recharge (or something under 1 sec). So we can spam swap when out-of-combat just like it used to be.
I use double swords in pve and in pvp and I really like them. Secondary is GS in pvp (staff pve).
For stats I have amulet berserker and jewel berserker. Runes are Centaur.
Build is the basic 20/20/0/0/30.
I like to do this:
Sword phantasm and clone and Blurred Frenzy and dodge→ F3, Mirror Images and dodge→ F1. That should kill any foe. With 25 stacks of vulnerability on foe and 3 stacks of Might on you your F1 deals 28% more dmg. On top of the F1 you deal 5k with BF and 4-5k with sword phantasm. Also this combo is very easy and fast to do. As defensive you are either invuln from BF or invuln by dodging all the time.
Weapon skills:1-5
Healing:Q
Utilities:E (usually stun breaker), R (here just anything, but mostly condi removal), V (here usually if I use a passive skill or a situational skill)
Elite:0 (I just click it, but lately I’ve started to feel that I need this one binded).
I’ve heard that Wings(lb)/Feathers(sb) of Dwayna is a Mystic Forge recipe and it needs an Eldritch Scroll. They know this because they looked at the item code or something. 1 speculated piece of the recipe is Gift of Weather, because it’s the closest Gift to Dwayna and not many people make Meteorlogicus so not many people have Gift of Weather.
There is only 1 class that can avoid Illusion of Life downing you again and that is a Necro. I have used this skill on a necro I play with and if he won’t get the rally he simply goes to Death Shroud which will absorb all dmg from IoL (you can also jump from any height, just go into DS and it will absorb all fall dmg). Although I don’t know if this has been patched.
There is also a nice “bug” where if there are many ice/earth spikes stacked, just stand in the middle and you won’t get hit, no bleed no dmg. Problem is it’s really random. Many times with no endurance and the spikes come I won’t get hit. Or when I use Blurred Frenzy (I’m a Mesmer) I won’t see any “invulnerable” signs when the spikes hit.
@bladedhonour the ice/earth spikes come in paths 2 and 3. Path 1 has earth line and AoE fire. Trust me, I run all paths everyday.
So should I change the Sigil of Force to Sigil of Accuracy now, using the phantasm build. Cause I’m used to having +50% crit chance and now I get 52% with full stack from sigil, which is not always possible to have. Or is this change only for the Heavy build?
We run CoE with this team:
2xMesmer dps (me)/tanky dps (other one).
2xGuardian tanky dmg support.
1xNecro power dps.
We can clear all paths quite fast. Alpha usually dies in ~30sec, out of which 20s is Time Warp (last Alpha takes always a bit longer, first one may take 18sec).
In Arah it’s usually:
1xRanger/Mesmer dps (me)
1xElementalist dps
3xRandom guildies, usually atleast 1 Guardian.
Lupi is really simple as the ele usually keeps aggro.
Its just the way those events work. Just as anybody shooting projectiles must go inside the bubble. If it saddens you that badly put on a sword and focus… go thru the portal… and have a ball.
But even with sword/focus hes illusions will die if they are created inside the bubble. He’s not complaining about making illusions outside the bubble, but inside it. All you can do while inside the bubble is auto attack. I main a ranger and I know that when I swap my pet while inside the bubble, my new pet will instantly die. So anything created inside the bubble dies. It’s not about making illusions outside the bubble and when shattering they die on the bubble.
There is a same problem in CoE, in the golem boss when it does the lightning field and if I’m inside it then all my attempts to create a clone will fail.

I have 15, 8k hp normally, but when I go to normal server (out of overflow) my hp will jump to over 16k due to WvW buffs. But about toughness I’m confused. With Knight chest and 2 Cavalier rings I get 1190 toughness, not 1200+.
Your stats don’t have any effects on pets. Only way to increase pet stats is to trait into Beastmastery. Every point in it increases pets stats by 10 (base stats). You can increase stats like crit dmg through traits from other trait trees than BM (crit dmg from Skirmishing, for example).
Just a tiny question on gear.
You said 1200+ toughness on the phantasm hybrid build. But with Knight chest and 2 fractal rings, my toughness will be just under 1200. But if I swap 1 ring for amulet with power/toughness/crit dmg. The new ring would be Berserker. Like this I will get 1240 toughness, which would be better, right?
Oh and how do you get ~16k hp? With Valkyrie pants and zerker earrings with exquisite beryl gems I get 15, 8k hp, but there is no more places to put any Vitality.
