right now is the best heal and provides massive group support, and it doesnt need any blast finisher like healing spring to work.
That may be in certain situations in team q, but not in solo q
You forget rangers have a trait called natures vengeance
you can pretty much use anything in solo queue.
it might be a good heal, but if it’s not used by rangers in the top teams it’s for a good reason

Hey Guys,
A week ago we were ready to cut ranks. Last week, due to our discussion on the CDI thread, we decided to keep them.
Right now we are trying to determine in what form we are going to keep ranks and how they should be balanced so attaining the rank of dragon is something that you have a reasonable chance of achieving and not a quest that you pass on to your children and your children’s children.
Because we agree with most of you that ranks are too difficult to attain and because it was a very easy change for us we also decided to give players a bonus to players in Solo and Team Arenas.
I’m sorry you didn’t get a response sooner but we didn’t want to jump the gun and say yes or no to this thread. What you are asking isn’t something that we can just turn on so it would have to come in a build later if we decide to do it. At the moment we don’t have a plan to retroactively award points for wins but many of you have brought up some interesting reasons for it so it is something we will take into consideration when we are discussing how to adjust ranks.

Take in account the number of tournament matches played & won in order to buff the actual players rank when you re-adjust the rank system, same like in guild wars 1

maybe you can beat terribad hambows with a pink power ranger, but you will be easy food for any of ther other 99% specs out in the game.

In the end pro players dont really need a voice chat when they know exactly whats happening, happened, and whats gonna happen after certain phenomena.

Well im not an expert ele like the player above… so im sure he will have firm arguments to state that ele is worse than before.
But to me, the global attunement cooldown recharge seems like a buff and on the other hand im liking the gameplay of some elementalists i get paired sometimes.
Although its true that if i pay a little of attention ill crush any with ranger

I am top 25 europe solo q with more than 1.500 games and I love this map.
The map is ORIGINAL.
The map requires EXPERIENCE & SKILL.
The map enriches conquest mode diversity build & FUN. BIG FUN.
For me everyone who cries at this map is just a BIG SCRUB without any skill, experience, or competitive aim // RESILIENCE to win a game.

Well, ranks should be modified to no cause screen clutter in the match.
But outside the map i think the rank has to be something huge,large and incredible
I believe fortifying bond doesnt copy boons but adds a fixed duration boon each time the boon is applied to you. It has 4 might right? The three plus one from the trait because you received might.
No. You can test with battle sigil and you will see pet receives all 3 Stacks of Might as the duration of fortifying bond states.
I believe it is a bug.
This ranger trait is working correctly by its own
(Giving ranger 3x might and ranger pet 3x might)

If we have the major trait Fortifying bond equiped, why it isn´t giving x6 might to the ranger pet, since each time ranger has power, that power goes to the pet?

It is a maximum cap that works independently from the daily achievement.
What I personally would like to see:
~ Improved & reworked rank finishers to make them look more astonishing and incredible, with better animations and graphics (currently only shark is cool). Phoenix and tiger from gw1 are better than gw2 finishers.
~ Pvp only armors & weapons obtainable only by playing tournament pvp. Pvp only designed legendaries (obtainable by playing tpvp).
~ New & more advanced champion titles & titles overall skill/experienced based (with rewards attained to them) with new achievement system.
~ Ascended and exotic gear or precursors for pve & wvw so we can experience those game modes.
( I have one year only pvp and one of the reasons i dont pve or wvw is because i lack the gear)

There will be pvp specific skins as most hardcore pvpers wont like to be watching pve guys with their same stuff. What they want is somethibg unique and different to make people see why they are more experienced.

Whole heartedly agree with you.
Main priority should be to create a good competetive pvp mode. Something that is super intuitive, easy to get in to but hard to master. It should focus on winning PvP skirmishes and gaining score/advantages via won skirmishes.
The layout should force people to spread out so we dont get a full on 5v5 zergfest. A good example are mobamaps.
Same applies to professions. To quote one of GW2s top players and former tournament winner:
“All classes should be skillbased like engi/ele”
“All other classes are brainless”
“Give engi to a total noob, he will die everywhere. Give war to a total noob and he will kill top players”Mind that this quote doesnt come from plays who plays engi or ele as main. What we need is for all classes to be easy to get in to and hard to master. That should be the ideal. It really feels like some classes are build to create beginner friendly classes,.
