I wanted to bump this thread and say thanks for the vid. I’ve been running this build lately and it’s pretty fun.

The only change I made was I changed to 20% faster focus skill recharge instead of spinal shivers at 25%.

Last week i had a problem with the email authentication process. At first the emails were a bit late, then they were a lot late and after 2 days they’ve stopped coming. I’ve tried to log in about 30 times before giving up.
Over the course of the day i’ve received about 30 authentication emails all from my IP but none of the links inside of them worked. One of the links however allowed me to remember my network. I didn’t want to remember my entire network, but i was forced to in order to be able to enter my account.
Even though i have entered the game, the authentication emails kept coming from my IP over the next 1-2 days…

I’ve played well ever since, until NOW…
Even though my network is remembered, this very morning apparently i need to authenticate myself again in order to be able to enter the game, and yet again the authentication email is not coming…

Last time i remembered the network from one of the 30 ten hours late emails…
What do i do this time ?

@Ackinbal, if a well is placed right, used at the right time, it will have maximum effectiveness. If you use Blood is Power without condition damage and condition duration (since it has condition damage), you will never have 100% effectiveness out of that skill… so you filled a precious skill slot with something that you can’t get 100% out of…

See what i mean ?
All skills are usefull somewhere, as long as you know when, where… and have a build that favors them…

Necromancer in it’s current state has a major issue, and it’s not what most people think…
I will explain the issue in detail, not in my next video, but in the one after that…
The build i recommended kind of doesn’t suffer from that issue, but it wasn’t so much about the build, it was more about the mindset…
That is what will make you great in the long run…

@Ackinbal, i thought you were criticizing my build so i almost retaliated. Your build may fall in the support category if you are good at harassing with it. I still recommend you drop blood is power at least, because it’s not worth to fill one precious utility slot with something that is not 100% beneficial for your chosen path.

@Andele.1306 Thank you for the kind words, and your feedback. I agree with most of the things you’ve said. I didn’t go over a lot of things, i was trying to get the mindset of SPvP out to people before going into details.

In my opinion what good is there to start telling people a million details if they don’t know the reasoning behind them. It was already a 35 minute long video… more details will come in later videos… the next one will be about condition build and a few choices people need to take into consideration when making a condition build.

After that the basic of playing support necromancer…
Then i will go into particularities…

Although stun breakers are good in general, because the fact that they are situational or high CD or stack too many conditions on you, i don’t personally like many of them, especially since each time someone stuns you he tries to burst you down, and i counter that just by going in DS.

If he is a glass cannon he will eat my DS and then i kite him and he can do nothing, if he isn’t a glass cannon i can let him waste his hits on me, since necromancers are more durable by default.

In my opinion stun breakers are not worth it at their current state, not everyone will try to stun you… but many will try to use conditions on you, many will try to zerg you, many will try to overpower you by buffing themselves and removing your buffs… it’s a more common scenario in SPvP atm then getting stunned…

Immobilized however… like 10 times more frequent, which can be countered so easily with DS fear…

I don’t just want to say “do this to escape stun, to achieve something”, for me it’s more like a… “we need to understand in what scenario you might find yourself in… and see what can we do about it”. Trying to build from the ground up, that’s why i didn’t even spend a lot of time “reading” the skills i had in my build.

That build i’ve made a bit more to counter bunker guardians, they so hate me
Actually with that build in 1v1 only mesmers give me trouble, or if i am foolish enough to chase down a bunker engineer.

Look its natural at this stage of a new MMO people spec more into DPS stats, as soon as they start investing more into PvP minded stats this build is over.

I was countering glass cannon thief with a squishy build just to prove a point. This was made for people that have encountered a glass cannon thief before…

Edit: you need to understand that as soon as you build 20% more tank-ish, you lose 20% of your damage, unless you have found a way to get more then 70 traits. This is… problematic indeed.
My point was that as soon as you survive the initial burst he is yours, because he invested everything into damage. If you invest more into survivability, yes… it’s easier to counter glass cannon thieves, but then you barely scratch a guardian, or another necromancer or an engineer… It’s about what you win and what you lose, you can’t just win…

@Ackinbal… that means you would have like 0 critical strike chance… how do you even do damage ? The damage of the bursting necromancer is small as it is because it is contextual. Plus you’ve taken a bit of Death Magic, which gives toughness and boon duration. What kind of boons do you use ?
Also no Soul Reaping… no critical damage, for a power build…

You gave up 50% damage for just a bit more survivability… I’m sorry, i just don’t see it…
This is actually one of the reasons i’ve made tutorials, so people won’t fall for this trap.
You also use Blood is Power, which adds bleeding when your condition damage is close to nothing, your condition duration is only at 30%.

I’m sorry but i have to disagree with your build.

I know it’s long overdue, i wanted to make this video for about 2 weeks now. I had some issues with my account, but as soon as i had the time and those issues got fixed, i’ve done it.

So this is my take on SPvP Necromancer, what you need to know before you actually begin your journey into the PvP world of Guild Wars 2.
I’ve seen countless build threads on these forums yet i have seen close to none topics on SPvP as a whole.

In this tutorial i also included a power build variation with the reasoning behind it and at the end how to counter glass cannon thieves, because many of you seem to have a problem in that match-up.

Update: The past few hours i kept receiving authentication emails from my morning attempts to log in. None of the links worked but one of them allowed me to remember the network.

Now, since i remembered the network i no longer need to authenticate each time…
My problem has been solved but this still remains an issue, i didn’t want to remember my network but apparently it was the only way to recover my account.

Update: I just received a first Authentication email from arenanet, it’s about 40 minutes late… i clicked on the link, it says i am authenticated but when i try to log in it is still waiting for me to authenticate myself.

Now what ?

It’s been happening for the past 3 days. First there was a delay before i received my authentication email, then a greater delay. Today i stopped receiving the authentication email all together. I would submit a ticket for help but for that i need to authenticate myself on the forums as well…

Have i been hacked ?

I could tell you straight forward, but the point of my tutorial was for you guys to understand the build system well enough to be able to chose for yourselves.
Like i said… you want to burst, first get a burst weapon… how ? By not choosing a weapon that does “x amount of damage over a period of time”.
Read what that weapon can do… “vulnerability”, get utility skills that add vulnerability… such as well of suffering, anything that will help you burst more, survive more to burst more and at the same time don’t take anything that… again don’t take skills that “do x amount of damage over a period of time” or amplify those kind of damage forms in anyway… for example if you burst with axe… don’t take epidemic it will do nothing for you.
Find your own paths…
Burst: Axe – vulnerability – well of suffering – lich form (insane damage with the first skill)
Conditions: Same as before… find the right weapon… Scepter, right offhand weapon dagger; utility… blood is power (why ?… insane bleeding damage which “further increase”…), epidemic (why ?… all that insane bleeding… now spread that to all in an instant…) – plague form (why ?… you have a high amount of mobs all taking constant damage from you… gues what will happen… you will agro… then what ? they will charge you… then what ? you become a very tanking plague form and you can continue “sustaining” your battle)

This is how i wanted to teach you people to see things… Also the reason i did not simply “red” some builds… anyone can do that…
But to help people make their own choices, that’s something different…

Yes i thought about it, but i don’t want to look like i am “advertising”, people have already said that on a few occasions. Like i said and shown in one of my videos… i am making 0 profit from everything i do. Maybe in time i will get to a point where i get a partnership with a gaming station and then i will be allowed to get some income out of this.

I am not doing this for the views, i am doing this for the appreciation.
So… maybe if i get an official green light on this then yeah… like i said, i don’t want to abuse my sticky and start advertising.

When i saw that my tutorial thread got pinned i didn’t even knew how to react. It was early in the morning so i thought, this is a weird dream…
I never thought my thread would be worthy of a sticky, i was expecting someone to make some tutorials with graphs and timers and percentages and real time slow motion captures commentated with a more advance english then i have. That i would have considered something worth getting a sticky. That’s why i never asked for one.

I’m really glad that people appreciated the work i’ve done to a point where this has become pinned. I must be doing something right since i got here

@ Alamir and Nismu, i understand your point of view, i am not saying the well build does nothing in WvW.
I am trying to say that from my perspective and experience it is less effective then the condition – epidemic build.
Yes… one good placed well may turn the outcome of that fight… you might even kill 6 players at the gates if they don’t dodge. But then 5 more will instantly take their place.
Then you wait 40 seconds before you can do that again… or you poke them with your staff’s first skill, which doesn’t do that much, because you won’t have range on axe or dagger, and even if you… and you can land a full channeling skill from axe, you have done damage to one single player.

Full power build Well of Suffering + Well of Corruption don’t come close to Blood is Power + Epidemic in terms of damage, wells are dodgeable… conditions are removable… Every player has 2 dodges… not many have 2 condition removals on them in WvW. Two dodges regenerate faster then 2 condition removals, and even if not… we look again at CD, 40 seconds vs 15 seconds… + range on scepter aoe bleed, range on dagger aoe bleed, fear… fear…

Defending a keep is where you can make a player, you saw i was able to hold out the siege of a guard tower vs 15-20 people with just 3 people (there were 1-2 more players that came at one point, but they went outside and died instantly).

Attacking a strategic point is more about strategy, organization… preparation, having the right tools. There is no build vs walls or gates.
Also… have you taken into consideration that wells, yes… ground targeted… you can not ground target a piece of ground that is in LOS AKA the walls of a citadel. Yes… you can place the well ON the wall, but a player has to step one millimeter back, and he denies all the damage he could have taken every 40 seconds.
Yes… epidemic-ing the walls may get dispelled… every 15 seconds ? What happens if there are 2… necromancers… 3 ? 4 ? 567 ?
Then again… 1000 necromancers placing wells ON the walls still get denied by moving back half a step.

This is my take on WvW builds and the reasoning behind them.
I also respect your opinion and the fact that you might see my point of view.

Yes Nismu, this has been discussed further up with Karther.7481, you are correct, but it is my opinion that the wells even at range are less efficient. Yes… you can have some form of effectiveness once every 40 seconds. Only one well has any real damage, and also wells are dodgeable, epidemic is not.

Because of the combat psychology it is my opinion that condition build (and everything that goes with it… sustained damage, epidemic, high survivability, fear) will do you much better… it’s much more frustrating for a team of attackers to constantly get damaged, constantly get conditioned on them… then to have to dodge some wells near the ram every now and then…

The pressure applied on their siege effort is what made all of them at one point decide “it’s not worth it” and to leave… or… because of that pressure to be unable to break the gate in time, and we could hold on until reinforcements arrive. Wells just have to high CD for this scenario and because they are dodgeable i fear they are not as efficient.

See my example video if you like, and tell me if you think wells would have done better…

edit: if you go for a wells build what do you use as a main hand ? Damaging well(s) use burst damage type and benefit from critical strike chance and critical strike damage. Axe and dagger don’t have that high range…

I used to think that the 25 stack limit of bleed made some sense. But after some thought I realized how insanely nonsensical it is. If people fight by using bleeds and their main damage comes from conditions, why the hell would you cap that? There’s no cap for direct damage, so why is there a cap for condition damage? It makes absolutely no sense.

So what if there are 100 stacks of bleed on the target? That means it’s how the people trying to kill it deal damage, why would you block half of the people from dealing any sort of decent damage to these creatures? If there’s 100 players who fight using direct damage, you don’t cap the other 75 of these 100 players from not dealing damage because the first 25 are already dealing damage to it.

Because epidemic…

I agree Epidemic is a must for any kind of offensive and quite a few more defensive WvW Necro builds, even those builds with Wells, but I do think Well’s themselves are underrated. The numbers you state there are actually from sPvP I believe, because in full exotic gear in the real game you can pull much higher critical numbers, upwards of 90% crit damage and perhaps 60% crit chance with it. Unfortunately you’re right, people can move out of them fairly easily, but when dropped by a group at a ram or at a choke point they can be deadly. You can also add a snare element (Chilled) to the blinding circle to keep people within your Wells more effectively.

In the case of the crit siphoning, I wonder if you have considered putting those ten points into Spite? That’s an additional 10% Condition duration and bigger heal than siphoning when something dies – the actual box traits you can select are a bit weak in general, but the Retaliation one from Death Shroud is nice considering when you pop Death Shroud you’re usually under attack to grant a lot of reflection, and you only have a 5 sec CD on your Death Shroud.

Yes… i was comparing SPvP well build stats with condition build stats… should be equal.
And yes… your build is a viable option, just not my preference, because in my opinion it’s just a little bit less efficient because of the CD.

I just finished watching all the videos. I really like how you put the strengths of each build in perspective to the weaknesses. I.E. burst vs sustained.

I also found your hybrid spec interesting. The way you justified how to spend your trait points and make up your deficits through armor was quite brilliant. It made me rethink how i play my Necromancer currently in Spvp( Dagger/focus Staff) and how little synergy my build has.

I think i will by trying a build similar to your Hybrid for spvp tomorrow and I am kind of excited.

The biggest problem that I have had with my Necro is deciding on what way is best to go Power or Conditions. I think the blend of pressure and direct dps is way the necro needs to do damage. Having to rely too much one way or the other debilitates the other and decreases the flexibility of the class.

Thanks for opening my eyes and encouraging me to think more rationally.

Hm, actually I take back the comments of the 20% Bleed and 33% longer scepter conditions not stacking, it seems I was mistaken. For some reason I can’t edit the above post either.

In my upcoming SPvP tutorials i will explain some hidden mechanics for bleeding duration… yeah i’ve noticed it for a while now.

A nice effort, however for future videos I noticed some mistakes you should take into account. I hope you don’t find this too rude.

Firstly you claim Wells are no good as you have to be outside walls to use them. In actual fact, anyone with a serious offensive Well spec in WvW will have the ability that gives them a range of 900 (equal to the scepter). That’s long enough to throw down at foes, or up at attackers from below.

Next I notice you claim Epidemic spreads conditions to all foes within a 1,200 radius. It’s actually all foes within a 600 radius, but you can trigger it from a target up to 1,200. A bit of a mix up there.

Also, currently the traits of 20% longer bleeding ad 33% longer conditions from scepter doesn’t stack, it’s bugged for now.

Also on your traits you take siphoning health on crits – I’m not sure if you’ve noticed but each crit will net you a grand total of 33 health stolen, which is next to nothing when you have 20k+ health. Ten crits and you’ve healed about 1.5% of your total health. In short, very low healing over a long time.

If you want something from the first box of Blood Magic, particularly in a build focused on helping defend towers with others, the Transfusion box (Life Transfer heals around 2.6k in a 600 radius) is far better. You could also have taken Death Magic for larger AoE circles with the staff – something it seems this spec so focused around Fear could use – on that note, in the same Death Magic first box is a trait to lower the cooldown of Reaper’s Mark giving your AoE fear a 32 second cooldown rather than 40, which is more beneficial than a 2 second cooldown to Death Shroud’s Fear that you took in another box.

Overall it’s helpful to new players, even if I disagree with some points. Hope this helps.

It’s not rude at all… i’ve said somewhere down that “this is my opinion on”….

I prefer to have a 15 second CD on epidemic rather then have to deal with the wells CD, and yes they can be rather effective at range but only one of the wells deal any kind of good damage, and even with a full bursting spec (which you can’t obtain if you want them to have range) they do up to 3.700 damage in the tooltip, real damage may go up to 7600… the thing is… the enemy can DODGE a well much easier then they can keep curing conditions… that keep stacking… and aoe stacking… and aoe stacking.

If the range wells build works better for you… that’s just fine, it doesn’t for me… and in my opinion it’s a bit less effective in a real scenario.

The main damage source of the well build is “Well of Suffering” which at 3,244 Attack, 40% critical chance, 68% critical damage does “Damage(5x):3030”, on a 45 second CD. Take that vs “Blood is Power” (30 second CD) which at 1200 condition damage, 90% condition duration does about ~14000 damage over ~55 seconds, now spread that with epidemic (at 1200 range, radius of 600 > well radious, on a 15 second CD).
Not counting the fact that you have 2 more AOE bleeds 1 from scepter and 1 from dagger offhand… and stacking… and stacking

Again… this is just my opinion based on everything i’ve seen and tested…

Yes… the regen is small but in that build there are no other viable options left for the 10 points remaining, and it’s better then nothing… a siege takes a long time… so 30 hp regen over a period of 5-10 minutes. I rather have that then not have that.

People now have 2 options they can try out. Thank you for your input

PS: yes… range 1200, radius 600… i’ve said in the comments on my video… sometimes my english gets all messed up, i’ve noticed in the video i’ve said “attackers go outside to defend, and you need to support them”. Yes i know… my apologizes.

I’ve received this question for a long time now: “How do i own in WvW with my necromancer ?”

Well… here it is… i hope it will help

Spamming the nr 2 skill for a thief 5 times in under 3 seconds to do 30,000 damage is not skill, also in SPvP there is no such thing as “better geared”, we all have the same equivalent gear.

No other thief has ever owned me in under 3 seconds without being able to counter it at all… i usually own thieves. So i checked the logs, also i’ve tried to do that amount of damage with a thief of my own… the best i could go was 4700 with a lot of stacks of might… and that’s from a critical strike. Apparently this guy has 100% critical strike chance and he is doing about 5000 a hit… while being untargetable…

Maybe i am missing something, could be… not that skilled with thief…
If this is standard then in my opinion it needs a nerf, if it’s not then this guy needs to meet the banhammer.

edit: just to clarify… he did this 5 shots consecutively in the brief encounter that we had, about 3-4 seconds.

As requested i’ve made a video in which i offer my point of view regarding the state of the economy, the botters and some a few issues that concern myself… also… a bonus ending

I have to disagree, necromancers don’t have a downstate that could trick an opponent and permit you to get back into the fight, necro’s downstate shines when vs other downed opponents, which happens quite a lot because of the bleeding damage type of the necro. You win 90% of the downed vs downed battles because of the poison… you heal… they don’t.

I thought about making a channel, about continuing my work, of improving… especially with all the positive feedback that i got. I never expected to get so many views, likes and kind words… and definitely not so quickly. So… thank you all so much.

After the initial feedback i received and all the video requests i knew i had to get a new CPU if i wanted to record WvW or SPvP even dungeons, since my current one allows me to record at about 10-15 frames. In this country the average salary is around 150$ a month, a good CPU costs about 500$ so in order to get one i had to get a loan from the bank. My initial idea was that with youtube monetization and all i may get an extra 10-20$ a month, which would help pay out the loan… Turns out i can not monetize anything. I checked my youtube account, because i haven’t before since i was more focused on making videos then the monetization aspect, and apparently i have monetization enabled on the account but none of my videos have them enabled, and i can not enabled them either.

I can live with that… it will make things harder for me, but just for all the positive feedback and kind words that i received so far i will continue making more videos… or so i thought…

Not only am i not allowed to monetize anything, i am not even allowed to change my monetization settings on my videos, they are by default turned off, yet people have told me i have adds on my videos, they even asked me how much i’ve made in these 10 days. The answer is NOTHING.
To make things even worse youtube has now flagged me and i may get shut down from youtube even though i am not making any profit what so ever.

The final verdict is… i will keep making these videos as best i can for all the people that support me thus far, until youtube will finally shut me down.

Thanks for those videos. I downloaded the builds video and I should do the same for the others. I’ve found it quite interesting. My necro is now close to 40 and I’m doing fine as a conditionmancer. I’ve started using your hybrid build so I put so far 10 in power and 10 in precision, and once blood gets to 10 too I’ll get the more advanced manual for the traits. So I switch from scepter/dagger to axe/focus here and there now.

I hope you have a pleasant experience with it, if not you can always opt for a burst build (glass canon) or go for full conditions… as long as you do it right

I prefer read carefully instead of watching a long time usually.

As you may have noticed, i am not very versed with the english language so it will be a far more difficult task without the graphic support. Also it may take a player a longer time to read such a long written explanation as opposed to just watch 30 minutes of the video (everything i exemplify in the video has to be written, turns highlighting a skill with the mouse in a full sentence on paper). Are you sure that is what you want ?

Yes, you can unequip the weapon from the character overall, the sigil stacks do remain (that does mean you will have to have another weapon, to a total of 5 or 6 weapons depending if you use a two handed or 2 pairs of one handers) because they are effects.
E.g. kill 25 things with, lets say, a dagger with the superior sigil of luck, put it in your inventory and there, the stacks stay (till you go downed that is).

Also ii find that a lot of the times opening with BiP, DS-Dark Path, Chillblains, Putrid, swap to dagger is really worth it because of the fast life force generation and enemy being chilled, bleeding and weakened (then again i go with a DS and 2 well focused build for aoe farming, boons and team support).

Your path seems more viable for PvP rather then PvE (because you don’t need such complicated maneuvers for PvE, mobs are not such sneaky kittens), i haven’t gone into PvP tutorials yet… because it has way more depth then PvE and i have not yet mastered it, but i will… soon…
Also… i’ll test what you said today, if it’s true that’s a major bug, can’t be working as intended… i’ll stack everything then

A few things:
Skills that have Damage (x number) means that its the total damage but over that many ticks
Dagger can be a opener because of Death Shrouds Dark Path or Spectral Grasp (into Warhorn daze and then immobilize if in pvp)
Superior Sigil of Corruptions stacks stay on the character even if the weapon isnt equiped, letting you get a Superior Sigil of Agony

These tutorials are more for PvE and a bit of setting up for PvP… Yes you can open with dagger in PvP, but is it really worth it ? You can get a gap closer from the utility as well plus the Death Shroud one, but that’s 2 skill just to do something that may not be worth it.
What do you mean by Superior Sigil of Corruption stacks stay on the character even if the weapon isn’t equiped ? Like i can unequip my weapon and still have the buff ? That may be a bug… if you mean you can switch weapon sets and still have the effect, yes… that i was trying to explain in the video. I’ll do some more testing and get back to you on that, thanks for the feedback.

This is the first gaming video i ever did, so go easy on me…
I was trying to explain the build system in guild wars 2, also to help people increase their effectiveness in which ever way they chose to play.
I noticed that recording in such quality also eats up all of my frames, so i believe i should get a new computer right about now. My “old” one is quite new so the whole situation is unpleasant.

Hi Nemesis – your setup isn’t bad and your graphics card is pretty good. Generally I would first recommend upgrading your memory, processor, and motherboard before throwing in a new video card and in this case I would start with motherboard and then maybe memory. Unfortunately I cannot suggest anything specifically but your motherboard and memory would be a good place to start. You don’t want to bottleneck the rest of your system with an overpowered video card.

Thank you for answering… Can you give me at least an 80% chance that if i buy, let’s say an CPU INTEL CORE I7 I7-3770 3.40GHZ 8MB BX80637I7377 which is even stronger then the AMD FX-8150 by 20%, not to mention the integrated graphic processor, plus the mainboard and the 8GB of ram… can you assure me, just a little, that i may get high performance in high settings even while streaming or recording ?
Like i said it’s a very big investment… equivalent to 4 monthly salaries in this country… so i need as much information as possible before i decide to buy anything.

Also… am i allowed to post my first Guild Wars 2 video somewhere on these forums ? I don’t know if this would be considered advertising, and i also don’t know if this kind of advertising is allowed… but i would like some more feedback and i think this would be a good place to start.

Your video card is not terrible. The CPU would be my target if I were you. That one is several years old now, and I don’t even think you can buy them anymore. You will probably have to upgrade your motherboard at the same time…

That was my initial thought as well, the question is… will that CPU alongside my video card get me to where i need to be ? Will my game run perfectly even while recording ? I saw people saying they run the game perfectly with I5s CPUs, and not so great with I7 CPUs, no one said anything about the AMD FX-8150, or… any AMD CPUs to tell you the truth…

First… this is my current setup:

Processor: AMD Phenom™ X4 9950 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
Graphic Card: MSI Radeon R6850 1GB DDR5
Motherboard: Gigabyte M61PME-S2P
RAM: 4 GB DDR2
OS: Windows 7 x64

The problem is that i run Guild Wars 2 in my monitor’s native resolution of 1920 × 1080(p) (60.000Hz) and i am getting very poor performance. I customized my graphic settings so that the game doesn’t lose a lot of frames and still looks relatively good and it’s still in vain. The difference between the maximum settings and the lowest settings in Guild Wars 2, for me, is an average of about 10 frames. So… the game runs all maxed out in an average of 20 – 30 fps, and with the lowest possible settings in an average of 30 – 40 fps.
Here is where it gets problematic… a good number of people have suggested me to start uploading gaming videos, go into live-streaming since apparently i am quite good at games, and so i did… i recorded my first video yesterday using fraps. When i record using fraps my fps get cut in half, so not only it becomes an unpleasant gaming experience, it’s also provides a bad performance video wise.

The problem gets even more complicated since i see that in-game my cpu usage gets to like 80% on all 4 cores, and my GPU goes up to 70%. I’ve also spoken with a lot of people and it seems that using my CPU alongside a Radeon 6990 makes the game run perfectly fully maxed out. Also i heard that my graphics card alongside an I5 processor also seems to run the game perfectly fully maxed out… I also heard that the game runs better on I5 then on I7… so, i don’t know what to think.

My video card is the newest addition to my computer, so it should be it’s strong point. I’ve had my eye for some time on a new CPU, the AMD FX-8150 Eight-Core@3.60Ghz (max overclock 5.4Ghz) which has a benchmark score of 8,166
My CPU has a benchmark score of 3,007 and the I5-3550@3.30Ghz has a CPU benchmark score of 7,455.

Now here is the problem… if i opt to go for the AMD FX-8150 i need to change my motherboard to something like MB GIGABYTE 780T-D3L and while i’m at it i could add 2x DIMM 4GB DDR3 PC12800 KINGMAX FLGF-DDR3-4G1600 because the motherboard and the ram only costs an extra 110$, so with the CPU i get to 400$.
The question is… will this make the game run perfectly in high settings even if i try recording ? Should i get a stronger video card instead ?
Bare in mind that the 400$ is my maximum upgrade budget since where i am from the average salary per month is 150$, so this is the best solution for me money-wise. Is it performance wise though ? Will it give me what i need ?

ps: am i allowed to post my first gaming video somewhere on this forum ? I could do with some more feedback
