Lions Arch is the only city that exist in Tyria which can change, everybody knows that.

There is some already. By having one exist in two places at the same time(open world and mists). You create a portal. It’s a multi-dimensional object.

Its a fractal its not gonna start doing things to the world like the others haven’t. It might open a portal to a boring boss in the fractal but thats about it.

I’m sure the Rapier will be acquired in a different way.

The Rings around the wrist that represent each attunement really isn’t needed, we know what attunement we’re in already. I want my daggers to look normal like they do on my thief, not like whats in the screenshot. A option to turn them on or off would be fine.

Why would ANET rig the election? They are the ones trying to collect data which character we want to see in the future.

Obviously, Anet already has in mind which fractal they want to build. Everything else about the election doesn’t matter. The only thing that will affect the devs is which fractal to build. They are going to build Thaumanova; that is obvious since it ties in better with GW2 lore. Many current players don’t care about Abaddon because they didn’t play GW1. So how to ensure that Ellen Kiel wins and therefore Thaumanova gets built….. make sure the votes show her as the winner. Simple.

It’s not that I care about GW2 lore more. Unless Anet is bringing the gods back. GW1 lore should not hold back new GW2 lore form being developed.

The fractal will open one in the Mists.
This could make a portal to the realm of Torment. Or something big coming through into the open world. Could be anything.

Whatever happens in there will only happen in the mists not the world.

I think you missed his point. The reactor could have an effect on the current open world where as Abaddon is past history your going back to see!

Plus he speaks the truth regardless, people will go as fast as possible, exploit as much as possible to get the loot. That is what majority of the gaming community does.

Anything that happens in there will stay in there. Its not like a huge world boss is gonna start devouring the world cause of a fractal.

Reactor is not that much about the Asura at all! It’s about the kitten that happened from their failed experiment. Asura is just the catalyst for something much more interesting.

As for not knowing anything about abbadon. Abbadon is not affecting the present world in game.

He pretty much shaped the world into what it is today. He’s affected everything Gw2.

I actually look to spike thieves, they’re the easiest. My highest spike is 35k in 1.5 seconds. I got 11.8k health

So I perma stealth with basilisk venom, backstab you for 9k, then you’re a single auto attack or Heartseeker away from death.

The fall of abbadon was a HUGE deal in the first game, its long since that event in history happened, that’s why you have no clue that it happened in GW2… I’ve played both games, and i didn’t know about this reactor until now… something that happened recently. This is why the Abbadon fractal needs to win xD

People need to realize that GW1 is over, and that GW2 is the current game. We should be furthering new stories in GW2 lore, instead of making GW1 prequels for nostalgia.

To abandon GW2 lore and fall back to GW1 lore within a year of release sends GW2’s future down a very dangerous and destructive path.

Its called the Thaumanova Reactor Explosion so it is a fractal of what happened before and won’t have any affect on Tyria. We’d visit the Crystal Sea if we choose Abaddon which we’ve never seen before.

You are speculating about the Crystal Sea. Just like I am speculating on Thaumanova. And I do use the word “Speculation” in my post.

After researching gw wiki. Both the reactor and Thaumanova has had a “Chaos Rift” in them. This could mean I’m right about the reactor. But it also supports the idea that Abaddon fractal could have the same effects in the Mists.

I think now that Thaumanova and Abaddon. Will have the same effects in the Mists and open world. No matter which fractal wins.

So, I’m not going to spoil anything but I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you guys that according to game lore, there was never a Canthan district. If you’ve done your research, you’ll know that the great collapse was formally an arts district.
