wow, you and 2 other thieves tried to jack me. and I still dropped you. Of course im going to run back into the keep. who’s stupid enough to stand in a fight with 3 thieves?

If you’re going to talk crap, maybe you should try fighting me 1 on 1. Each time I dropped you, more and more people showed up afterwards to help you, and you STILL failed to down me even once. I guess I should be flattered that you need that many people to deal with just me. And you’re using the incredibly broken s/d thief spec and still can’t kill me. That speaks volumes alone on just how bad you are.

This is probably the most boring video I’ve ever watched.

It was a vid showing a healing spec, genius. Is everyone on your server this dumb? I would have thought that would have been obvious just by looking at all the green numbers ticking on the screen. No wonder you guys are losing so badly to us. Numbers have nothing to do with it, it’s lack of brains. We play as a team, that’s why we win.

I just use my warrior to fight other warriors. That’s the best solution. A well played warrior simply can’t be beaten by any other class if the other person is at the same skill level. Warrior is godmode now.

There’s plenty of class builds that demolish warriors.

Mesmers (condition, hyrid, and DPS) all have an easy time fighting warriors. Thieves using sword/dagger laugh at warriors especially if they use doom sigils on their weapons and use other poisons. I’ve seen those thieves beat warriors by ONLY using sword 3 and dodge rolls. Even condition engineers running perplexity runes (WvW) are better than warriors. That silly regen ranger condition build using poisons is easy mode against warriors. A necro walking into a fight where a warrior blew a condition removal will condi bomb a warrior to hell. A zerker guardian can kick it’s kitten as well because it’s got stability, aegis, blinds, focus shield, and can out damage healing signet. A good elementalist build can burst down a warrior and has great survival because of the quick heals.

The warrior’s moves are all completely OBVIOUS. They all have super telegraphed animations and are super easy to dodge, blind, block, reflect. Hammer warriors are a joke because of how obvious the animations are. They don’t land a single hit on me when they swap to hammer.

In comparison, a necro waves his hands in the air magically with the same animation and you can’t dodge any of it. Marks are placed at your feet and are triggered immediately. It’s very easy to see what a warrior is doing compared to other classes.

Reading comprehension, it helps somewhat. The classes you mentioned have a higher skill cap than warrior. Of course if you’re better with Mesmer, you will beat a warrior. here, i’ll write it again in all caps so it’s easy for you to pick up. IF BOTH PLAYERS ARE OF EQUAL SKILL THE WARRIOR WILL WIN!. There, understand now?

I prefer to solo everything. I rarely group with anyone. And in that regard ele IS extremely weak compared to other classes. And If your warrior is disabled half the time, you have a bad build and aren’t doing it right.

A decent player can make even the crappiest class seem good. Yeah I can take on 4-10 people on my ele, that’s all well and good. But I can take on those same 10 people on any other class and kill them 4 times faster and with far less effort. That’s what you people saying that ele is fine don’t seem to grasp. Yeah it’s ok in the hands of someone who knows what they’re doing, but that can be said of any class. It doesn’t change the fact that ele is still weak in comparison to other classes.

I don’t really understand people who say that a 10sec ICD would bring this to the same level as other rune sets.

The chance for 3 confusion stacks on attack is a worthy 6 bonus alone, if not borderline OP, compared to other rune sets.

I’d have to agree with that. They should probably remove the confusion on interrupt thing and move the 4 bonus to the 6th rune and move the confusion damage part to where the 4th part was, plus put a 10 sec cooldown on it. Either that or put a 10 sec cooldown on the 4th rune part and a 20-30 sec cooldown on the 6th rune part.

^This guy gets it. As much fun as I had on my warrior, i’m getting extremely bored with it. Playing the same class all the time gets boring. But as things are now, I have no reason to play any of my alts. Warrior is just exponentially better at everything every other class can do without having to sacrifice anything like the other classes have to. I want to actually have a reason to play my other classes, but if I do, i’m gimping myself by not playing as warrior. Cuz warrior is simply, hands down the best at everything and doesn’t have to sacrifice anything. The people who are saying that warriors are weak in any part of the game are just terrible players using terrible builds.

I’d want warrior either nerfed so it does have to sacrifice something like other classes do (if anyone else wants damage they need to sacrifice defense, or mobility, or condition cleansing. warrior gets everything in 1 package with no sacrifices) or i’d want all the other classes brought up to warrior’s level of effectiveness.

How can their be such huge mobility gaps?

Warrior heavy armor, such good defense, nerf pl0x!

Armor mitigates so little damage it is next to useless. Difference between heavy and light ain’t that big. Protection is still way better than any armor. And guess what warriors don’t have protection.

Warriors always been a class designed around move in and out quickly while delivering burst. Why they got health pool + armor? Because they do the same as a thief, except they don’t have so many ports or stealth to mitigate damage with. They must all absorb it.

Mobility/armor/health is nothing wrong with the warrior. Good thief or mesmer still kills a warrior in 1on1. Especially the bad ones running around these days.

Healing signet is strong, a solution could be that it ticks every 3seconds, so you get 1.2k health each 3 seconds back. Reducing the frequency makes it less hard to burst a warrior down.

But warriors are pretty balanced right now in WvW atleast.

Who needs nerfs?
-Necro, really really strong in zergs as in solo fights

Who needs buffs?
-Ele, got hit to hard and need a few tweaks/buffs
-Guardian, for their solo play. They are in a bad position in 1on1 fights. They either die or kill nothing
-Ranger, they have been bad since day one and are free lootbags whenever I see one.
-Engineer, need a buff for their group play.
-Mesmer in group play

Balanced classes?
-Engineer, really strong when well played. Only in small scale tho
-Warriors, in a good position for solo as group fights
-Guardians for group fights
-Mesmer for solo fights
-Thiefs for solo, small scale

That is a small overview over the balance in WvW at the moment

Warriors are not the least bit balanced. Are you kidding me? They’re stupidly overpowered now. You should see the vids me and my guild made using our warriors. we can /sleep in arrow cart and cannon fire with 10+ people beating on us and not die or even drop below half health. You’re a fool if you think warrior isn’t ridiculously overpowered now and in need of severe nerfs. no other class is capable of doing anywhere near what warrior can do. And you’re wrong about armor being meaningless. it does help me anyway. I barely any damage from even the burstiest builds.

As much as I love dashing halfway across the map and then /laughing while my opponent tries to desperately catch up to me or cc me while i’m totally immune to it, it’s never made sense to me that a dude in heavy armor can move that fast. From a technical standpoint it doesn’t make any sense. I’m not even going to get into how much it bothers me that I can swim while in full platemail, that bothers me enough that I take off my armor when I jump in the water. The squishier classes should have the best mobility because they don’t have heavy armor weighing them down, and they need it more anyway since they can’t soak up all that damage. A guy in heavy armor should move slowly. There’s a reason why knights rode horses into battle, you cant exactly sprint across the battlefield in a full suit of armor. In other words, take away my weapon and utility mobility on my warrior and give me a pony. I’ll name it Buttercup.

As much as i hate this runes, while i abuse them, jes i admit it but…
How am i supposed to kill the -99% cc-cond-duration, -65% cond-duration, 16 second stability, 20k+ hp, 3k+ armor, 1k+ regen per second, permastun warrior zergs without them?

The runes are broken jes, but right now they are needed to maintain at least a little bit balance against warriors. Im glad mine is level 80 and asc equipped too.
On my warrior i havnt died once to them, its really not that easy to stack up alot of confusion on warriors whith that much stability.

Good point. The runes are still overpowered. But the fact that you need them just to deal with warriors doesn’t mean that the runes shouldn’t be nerfed. It means warriors need to be nerfed too. And this is coming from a warrior, but I don’t use that cheesy brainless, high reward no risk perma stunlock build. That build needs a serious nerf as well. Any one defending those runes or that cheesy build is just a bad player who relies on cheap tricks in order to win because they lack skill. Anyone can win against an opponent who does nothing but sit there and let you hit them because they’re either permastunned or because there’s nonstop confusion on them. The people screaming L2P are the baddies who use the broken runes and builds as a crutch and can’t win without them. They’re scared of their crutch being taken away. These people don’t seem to realize that there’s a limit to how often you can dodge or cleanse conditions, but no limit to how often you can spam confusion on these runes and very little downtime between the stuns on the stunlock warrior while most classes that have access to stability have it on extremely long cooldowns. Sure i’ll just use my condition cleanse every 5 seconds and my 20 stunbreaks or dodge 30 times in a row to deal with these broken builds.

well, long queues are the price you pay for being on a server like that. I’m actually in favor of decreasing total map population and making queues even longer to force the population to spread out more. Everyone is sick of the stupid uneven matches at this point anyway except for the little kids who think winning is everything and run away from challenges so they transferred to already winning servers.

Perplexity Runes are definitely on our radar. I talked with our designers about this and you can expect some changes to this rune-set in the near future. I don’t have specific details on what changes we’ll be making, but I figured I’d let you guys know that we are looking at it.

Welp. Another ‘No fun allowed’ patch on the horizon.

I didn’t even use them for wvw, glad to know that my fun likely going to be nerfed because people cried on the forums.

Don’t know what you’re complaining about if you dint use them for wvw. All I had to do is trait my thief for maximum initiative regen and just spam headshot over and over and can effortlessly kill 99% of the people I run into easily. the other 1% who stop attacking and don’t kill themselves instantly have no choice but to run away. Because I can reapply it faster than they can possibly cure it. I won’t even get into how bad it is on warrior or engineer. The only class that stands a chance is warrior with their near immunity to conditions. This is coming from someone who does use them, they NEED a huge nerf. They’re stupidly broken. They need an ICD of atleast 20 seconds.

Well stats boost is not a replacement for players. Anets reasoning is weird to say the least.

Had a lot of really great fights so far. Especially the ele from Awk. If the rest of your guild members are as good as you I wouldn’t mind fighting them too. Too bad we aren’t on the same side, it would be fun roaming with you.

Oh and to those 4 thieves who jumped me while we were busy talking to eachother, really pathetic. Despite you jumping me from behind while I was busy talking to the ele, I still managed to down and spike 2 of you chumps. If I hadn’t been so busy typing to her, I probably would have killed all 4 of you. Good job on the 4 vs 1 against someone who was distracted.

Thieves are not a problem when you take advantage of your surroundings. But I agree their stealth mechanics should be less brainlessly rewarding. On the counterparts, buff their defense mechanics.

I don’t know about buffing their defense. I only go into stealth for the guaranteed crit. If it weren’t for hidden killer, I wouldn’t stealth at all. I honestly don’t need it because of how tanky and mobile I am. Like I said, a lot of thief complains are total bull. You’re only squishy in full zerker, which is true on every class, except warrior now because they’ve been buffed to god mode tier since they whined about lack of sustainability when they were in full zerker. Meanwhile they’ve always had the best sustainability if they used anything besides a full zerk build. Now a decent warrior is unkillable without 10-20 people to take them down. That’s how much it typically takes to kill my warrior anyway. And I usually take several of them with me before I go if I choose to stay and fight.

You may be right, you know that class better than me. I’ve always read thieves have poor defense/sustainability in which they compensate with mobility/stealth/high damage burst. I gave it a try (like lvl 3 before delete), but could never take my eyes away from my elementalist. The only thing I know is that’s a class I really enjoy fighting, as well as mesmers. Tricky classes make fun fights, when you have to think and move fast.

It’s a lie that thieves have poor defense. They can build to be tanky if they want and still put out a ton of damage. But most prefer to go full zerk and then complain about being squishy. The only advantage of being full zerk is you can sometimes 1 shot a lot of people if you’re lucky. I’d much rather take 2 or 3 hits to kill someone and be able to stand there and tank their hits. I’ve leveled a thief up twice. First was a human I made simply for that medium underboob armor, but then I got bored with the class and ended up deleting it. Remade it as an asuran because they have less obvious animations and because asurans roll on the floor and kick their feet when they laugh which is really funny. I only use the thief to troll people, so I wanted to be as trolly as possible and asurans are better at that than humans.

Of course a zergling thinks ele is ok. If you’re hiding in the safety of the zerg, even the crappiest class in the game seems fine. Try roaming. I know it’s scary for you being a zergling, but just try to separate yourself from the pack and go roaming around. Then you’ll see just how truly crap ele is compared to other classes.

Funny how including a single word into a sentence suddenly means that I’m a zergling. What makes you think that’s all I do? I duel with staff and am quite skilled at it, because I actually took the time to learn how it works. Unlike you warriornoobs that dismiss something if it doesn’t work in the first 5 seconds.

And on a sidenote, what makes you think that going about all by yourself actually accomplishes anything meaningful?

Oh and btw Combustive Shot > Meteor Shower in terms of AoE damage.

You can only hit up to 5 targets with your little arrow. I can hit 5 targets per meteor.

IF a meteor actually hits someone. And that’s a big if. I’ve stood inside metoer showers on plenty of occasions and not been hit even once. And I used to main ele since beta, back when it was actually somewhat decent. Recently switched to warrior because of how crap ele has become. Haven’t even played warrior for that long and already can tell its way better at everything ele can do with far less effort. Ele is a lot more fun though. And I’ve downed a group of 5 with 1 combustive shot. Good luck doing that with meteor shower. Pray to all 6 gods and hope one of them actually hits someone and you might down 1 or 2 people who will immediately be ressed by the ones that live.

WXP for laurels is not alt friendly

It’s not worth it at all. 2 laurels will take 2 days to get, and it only gives 1 rank. You can get 1 rank in less than a couple hours running around taking camps alone. For 2 laurels and a measley amount of badges, it should give 10-20 levels. If they were just going to make it give 1 level, it should be badges only. I’m not wasting my laurels on that crap to level alts when it’s more efficient just to flip camps on my own. It’s bad enough I need those laurels for ascended gear for alts, and there’s only 1 way of getting laurels anyway. If monsters dropped laurels, fine, i’d be ok with that. But the fact they’re time gated makes it a horrible idea to waste them on laurels when you can gain the same amount of wxp in a fraction of the time it would take you to get those 2 laurels.

I’d rather they change it just to be exactly like warrior’s healing signet. It should actually be a little stronger that warrior’s heal since they have adrenaline healing as well and we have nothing that will constantly regen us unless we stupidly stay in water all the time, which would be suicide. And it’s very easy to stay at full adrenaline for me even though I use my burst skills quite often. An equip and forget skill, that keeps me at full health all the time. And if someone somehow hurts me, I have my shout heals which do almost 3k each. With ele i’d have my dodge heal and burst heal when attuning to water for about 2k each. Warrior would still outheal me, but it’s a good start atleast.

Massive damage? Hahaha! maybe to ambient creatures, but no just, no. When I can hit for 84k against a single target, with one attack like a warrior can, then i’ll believe that. We’d need a damage boost of over 200% just to inflict average damage that other classes can pull off normally. I don’t give a flying crap how much damage you people can do with lightning hammer, before anyone brings that up. If I want to play a hammer warrior, i’ll play a hammer warrior. I didn’t make an elementalist to swing around melee weapons and totally ignore my class mechanics trying to be a poor man’s warrior that needs a party with them just to survive using a gimmicky conjure build. I want to blow stuff up with high damaging long range spells, ya know like a mage is supposed to do! I don’t want staff to be a support weapon, I have a staff guardian for that. I want to be able to fire off spells at long range and see 10k or higher crits on people. I’d gladly go full glass if I could have the damage to make up for dying in 1 hit to any attack. The Anet devs need to play other MMOs and learn how a mage is supposed to be designed.

Just to clear things up. We don’t have permastealth, if we attack we get a debuff that makes it so we can’t restealth within a period of time. We don’t hit for 15k in PvP situations, unless you count naked level 1s. We have mobility, no mechanic defense. Meaning a Thief has to actively position them self to avoid damage, thus we have mobility. That’s the point. Just so anyone isn’t confused about what a Thief actually does

The debuff is less than 5 seconds.
I have done done duel with on my ele with 2 different thiefs in wvw. One backstab while the other one i believe is P/d. WIth the backstab one more than 50% of the fight he is in stealth, and everytime he pops out of it i lose at least 50% of my health. Several times i had him he simply pop shadow refuge and comes out full health again. How fun.
The P/D fight is less annoying, lots of teleports and hard to land any skill. Fortunately the condition cleaning shaved most of his damage off of me. btw, i dont see why people are complaining about condition removal for ele, i personally thing its just fine. Attune to water+evasive arcana+5 will get rid of 3 condition in less than 3 seconds. If thats not enough pop a earth armor and use ethereal renewal.

Why would you stand there and not attack when he drops shadow refuge? Use AoE attacks on it. He wont stand in the middle unless he’s stupid, so youll have to kind of guess where he is in it and hope you hit him.

Thief is designed pretty stupidly in this game. Worst design for a stealth class ever in any MMO I’ve ever played. In any decent game, stealth has to be used strategically and intelligently for an opening strike, and rarely in very few MMOs are you ever allowed to restealth while in combat. You have to break combat and run away if you want to restealth. And there are usually penalties when in stealth, not benefits like in this game. You usually have reduced movement speed in stealth, but stealth lasts until you first strike. And stealth breaks when you get damaged. That’s how it SHOULD be in this game. The way it’s designed here, isn’t fun for anyone except the person using and abusing it. It’s very high reward for no risk. There’s no intelligent play with it like in other games. You just fart out stealth whenever you want and if you screw up, restealth and try again till you get it right. Too much room for error and no penalties.

I can hit harder with my tanky warrior’s auto attacks than most of ele’s 40+ sec cooldown skills can hit for, so it’s not just people trolling, damage DOES indeed suck. Back in beta we had decent damage, but because idiots didn’t know how to dodge or simply walk out of the giant red circles, since you literally can walk out of them and not get hit because the attacks are so slow and obvious, we took a more than 60% cut to our overall damage on all our skills. So you can thank the terribad clueless noob players who can’t dodge highly telegraphed AoE attacks. We’ve been nerfed repeatedly.

You’ll hear thieves whine about being nerfed horribly since beta as well, but they’re spoiled and have it way easier than us. They went from being able to hit 17k damage on a backstab to 15k. WoW, such a huge nerf! Plus they have permastealth and omgwtfmobility while we have no active defenses or decent means of getting away after repeated nerfs to healing, condition cleansing, and mobility. They have literally nothing to complain about because they’re still ridiculously OP. At most we might be able to hit a 15k with churning earth or firegrab if we have full stacks of might and bloodlust, go full zerker, and our enemy is afk and glassy and doesn’t dodge the obvious attack.

But then we’ll die from a light fart in our direction being built to be that glassy, while a thief can take hidden killer and have 100% crit chance in full cavalier and valkyrie gear, and hit someone with 10k instant backstabs with no cooldown and just hide in stealth if they miss and try again until they do hit you with it. And if you do manage to hit them? I have about 3k armor on my thief in cav/soldier/valkyrie gear and 30 in shadow arts since stupidly the stealth trait also gives toughness. Just to clear things up. We don’t have permastealth, if we attack we get a debuff that makes it so we can’t restealth within a period of time. We don’t hit for 15k in PvP situations, unless you count naked level 1s. We have mobility, no mechanic defense. Meaning a Thief has to actively position them self to avoid damage, thus we have mobility. That’s the point. Just so anyone isn’t confused about what a Thief actually does

Actually you do. Stealth stacks. As long as you restack it before revealed kicks in, you can stay stealthed as long as you want. I’ve gotten up to nearly a minute abusing that broken mechanic. I don’t particularly like offhand pistol, but carry one with me just for trolling people with that. The majority of the time I prefer offhand dagger. They need to make it so that stealth doesn’t stack. And I can tank most damage, way better than an ele can anyway and with superior mobility and condition removal as well. And i can do more damage with 1 button press than an ele can by putting every single ability they have on cooldown. That was my whole point. Were you even paying attention?

We need a new weapon set that will give us the moves that you get in Aspect Arena. Those moves were a lot of fun and had high mobility, survivability, and cc. They just screamed elementalist. Why can’t we have useful skills like that? Give us sword/sword and put those skills on it. Mainhand focus works as well, then I can wield 2 Anomoly. Offhand scepter wouldn’t be bad either.

Who would actually stand in the circle and get hit by it though? Better question though, even if said person DID stand in the meteors, what’s the chance that even 1 would hit them? I usually do stand in the meteors just to demoralize the ele who’s trying to kill me with them because I know it wont kill me. Even throw in a couple /laughs while the meteors rain down around me. Even if a couple do hit me, i’ll have regened back to full before he even finishes channeling it. Even on my thief who has over 3k armor and 16k hp and still can crit most people for over 10k, I just stand and /laugh.

Ele’s damage is pathetic compared to other classes. I wonder if the devs will ever wake up and realize that. It wasn’t that great even in beta but we still took a more than 60% nerf to our overall damage because clueless noobs wouldn’t move out of the red circles when it actually could deal a decent amount of damage. IMO, ele needs its damage increased by about 200% just to put it on par with other classes. We shouldn’t be so squishy and still hit like a wet noodle. If I have to be glass, then I want the damage to make up for it.

Meanwhile my thief and warrior can be as tanky as I want and outdamage eles with just auto attacks and have ridiculous condition removal and mobility. How the hell is that fair?

I can hit harder with my tanky warrior’s auto attacks than most of ele’s 40+ sec cooldown skills can hit for, so it’s not just people trolling, damage DOES indeed suck. Back in beta we had decent damage, but because idiots didn’t know how to dodge or simply walk out of the giant red circles, since you literally can walk out of them and not get hit because the attacks are so slow and obvious, we took a more than 60% cut to our overall damage on all our skills. So you can thank the terribad clueless noob players who can’t dodge highly telegraphed AoE attacks. We’ve been nerfed repeatedly.

You’ll hear thieves whine about being nerfed horribly since beta as well, but they’re spoiled and have it way easier than us. They went from being able to hit 17k damage on a backstab to 15k. WoW, such a huge nerf! Plus they have permastealth and omgwtfmobility while we have no active defenses or decent means of getting away after repeated nerfs to healing, condition cleansing, and mobility. They have literally nothing to complain about because they’re still ridiculously OP. At most we might be able to hit a 15k with churning earth or firegrab if we have full stacks of might and bloodlust, go full zerker, and our enemy is afk and glassy and doesn’t dodge the obvious attack.

But then we’ll die from a light fart in our direction being built to be that glassy, while a thief can take hidden killer and have 100% crit chance in full cavalier and valkyrie gear, and hit someone with 10k instant backstabs with no cooldown and just hide in stealth if they miss and try again until they do hit you with it. And if you do manage to hit them? I have about 3k armor on my thief in cav/soldier/valkyrie gear and 30 in shadow arts since stupidly the stealth trait also gives toughness. I just came here to laugh at the guy saying he’s doing massive damage. My auto attacks on my warrior in a bunker build do more damage than an ele’s hardest hitting skills if they go glass. Some people are in such denial over how crappy this class has become.
Unless of course you don’t speak English very well and have mixed up the words massive and mediocre, then I’d have to agree with you there.
By the way, I believe the record so far is about 80k damage with 100b. Until we can hit that high with one of our skills on something that isn’t a rabbit, I won’t believe anything we can do is massive damage.

The stuns do need to be toned down in general, cuz they’re pretty ridiculous right now. Agree with you on final thrust though. It is kinda blah. I rarely find myself using it and find it more effective to just auto most of the time. It just needs to come out a bit quicker and it will be fine. I actually do like final thrust a lot, it’s just kinda slow. I guess they did that because it’s supposed to be a finisher, but still like you said, autoattacking is often more effective. Would be kinda nice if they added a cripple or bleed to final thrust as well, but maybe that would be kinda OP cuz it does hit pretty hard.

Three warriors here as well. I won a 1v2 against a ranger and a thief yesterday by just following a rotation with hammer>longbow: combustive, arcing arrow, earthshaker, repeat with other skills in between. Didn’t need to give a kitten about just about anything, signet took care of healing, condi removal and might stacks happened by themselves.

And then there’s the kittening bunker warriors who put down a regen banner and their healing signet, and then literally just RUN IN CIRCLES. It’s ridiculous and needs to stop. Passive kitten is ruining the game.

You should see what my guild leader does with his warrior. Goes to sleep on the steps of enemy keeps with 2 cannons and arrow carts firing on him and several stupid ranger pets attacking and regens for more than all of that combined can inflict damage.

Even if they nerfed all the other classes, ele would STILL be the weakest. It needs significant buffs and has needed them since beta. It was always the weakest class, it was just unpredictable. But now everyone is used to all of the eles tricks so it’s weakness has just been made more apparent. All it was ever good for was harassing people and then pulling away before it got killed. It had mobility and healing and that’s it. Now it doesn’t even have that. The small niche it had in this game is gone. Play as all the other classes, then play as ele. It doesn’t even feel like it belongs in the same game because it’s so below other classes. Despite being the weakest class, it’s still the most fun to play as, which is why i’d want to see it buffed to actually be on par with all the others.

I have a concern. What if they decide to make it based on sPvP gearing rather than PvE gearing? I doubt anybody would actually want to have that.

If they did that, then it would be a waste of space that I would never use and would still go to WvW for GvG. No crappy spvp version. I want a separate WvW map with my actual gear that has nothing to capture on it where we can just kill eachother. Oh, and NO bloodlust!

I gotta say, SBI it’s pretty bad how many more people than us you need to take a zero supply garrison. 3 to 1 isn’t enough? It’s just sad.

They’re the new DB. Run from 1 vs 1, then come back with 20 friends to kill you and laugh at you. That’s all I’ve seen so far. Even trying to roam is boring now in this matchup with that kind of crap happening all the time.

Just reverse all the nerfs that have happened to ele since beta. Given all the buffs other classes have gotten, we’ll STILL be underpowered if that happened. But atleast we won’t be 100% useless. We also need a buff in the overall damage of all our skills, by about 60% atleast. Eles damage is pitiful compared to other classes. I have to press 57 buttons on my ele to do half the damage I can on my warrior by just sitting back and pressing 1 button, and that’s IF I sacrifice all defensive capabilities of the ele to do so while a tanky spec of any other class can greatly outdamage any of our damage specs. That just isn’t right.

Also aside from that, we need some changes to traitlines.
Arcane no longer gives reduction in attunement cooldown. Base attunement swap is 9 sec. Arcane now provides boon duration and aura duration. Auras will become our new mechanic this way. Add a trait in arcane that gives auras on attunement swap based on what attunement you swap to. Evasive arcana needs to be changed. It should be more offense based. Remove cleansing wave from it and add frozen ground. Move the cleansing wave to the water traitline where it belongs and combine it with stop, drop, and roll.

Sry I forgot to add im using Healing signet and Signets of rage(use during battle).
I tried using Condition dmg, but alot of threads say (stay away from condition as warrior)
And i also agree with it . i went on a condition build once and i didn’t like it.

Are you kidding? Condition warrior is god mode now. Anyone who told you it’s bad is stupid. Don’t listen to people who say condition spec or healing spec on warrior is bad, because they’re all WRONG. It takes 5-10 people to kill me, my pindown does almost 20k worth of bleed damage, my combustive shot ticks at nearly 1k per tick. No one will live through that. You need to get your condition damage up to like 2k then you’ll see how amazingly overpowered it is and you’ll destroy most people you encounter with ease. And before you ask, no I will not post my build, we don’t share weapons with potential enemies, that would be stupid. (Would the US tell North Korea how to build a nuke?) If you were on Yak’s Bend and my guild deemed you worthy, we might consider sharing the builds we all run. And unlike most people on this forum who don’t know what they’re talking about, we can back up what we say. We’ve proven time and time again in videos that everyone else is wrong.

A s/d ele with the new conjure axe will be able to get about 24+ stacks of AOE might without party support.

Dragon’s Tooth (x3) -> Ring of Fire -> Phoenix (x6) -> Arcane Wave (x9) -> Earthquake (x12) -> Earth dodge (x15) -> Churning Earth (x18) -> Axe’s Ring of Fire -> Axe’s second skill (x21) -> Axe’s second skill 5 seconds after, on the RoF if it still exists, or on burning retreat (x24). And 50s of aoe fury, of course (not more because of the upcoming stack duration limit).

Hello, +875 Power and Condition Damage while playing solo. Without sigil of battle. Without might traits. Feel free to use any other sigil with sigil of force. Bloodlust, maybe? Sigil of Energy, for far more defense? Maybe Sigil of Hydromancy for some extra burst. Better than sigil of fire, in my opinion.

You might want to consider that after that godly combo, half of your spells are on cooldown and whatever you meant to attack fell asleep.

And warriors and thieves will still be able to just push 1 button and outdamage you for all the effort you put into doing that and putting every skill you have on a horrendously long cooldown.

You also have to consider that warriors don’t have to do anything for their passive to heal them. The multiple heals we get from the current SoR are because we use instant skills in the middle of our other skills. If you add a .8 internal cd, that ruins it, so we’re basically just going off of the normal skill activations, making it it around the same anyway.

So it has a balanced healing?

You know why it was nerfed? Many Eles just used all there skills and abused the cool-down.

It was nerfed because of all the terrible players who never understood how ele worked. Poison wrecks eles healing same as with warrior. It was perfectly balanced. I’d even go as far as to say the previous signet was underpowered and needed to be buffed. Because on the rare occasion you actually encountered a player with half a brain who actually bothered to make an ele himself and learn how the fracking class worked, the signet heal didn’t cut it. So yes, it does need a large buff. They were wrong for nerfing it as they were wrong with ALL the nerfs eles received mostly because of terribad thieves and warriors who equipped nothing but damage skills and expected to kill an ele who was traited to heal and be mobile. And warriors have been stupidly overbuffed now anyway so why shouldn’t ele atleast be buffed so it can be competitive? I’m actually bored with my warrior because of how easy things are since it’s god tier now. But there’s no point in playing any other class when you can play god mode. I’d like to go back to my ele, but it’s just not a viable class anymore and all the fun has been sucked out of it with overnerfing.

Warriors heal has an internal cool-down of 1 second to it every tick. It has no opportunity cost.

If you want yours buffed your going to need its opportunity cost adjusted.

Warriors also have a crap ton more HP and are WAY more survivable than ele by a longshot. Ele doesn’t need an internal cooldown, warrior does. You have any idea how much punishment I can take on my warrior with that signet healing me? It takes atleast 5-10 people to kill me, an i’m not even a full bunker spec anymore. Ele bunker can barely hold out against 1 person. It needs the healing way more than warrior or it needs a boost in base HP and armor. Also warrior has way more ways of mitigating damage altogether and way more mobility than ele as well.

That’s because they just don’t get it even if we spell it out in plain English for them. We don’t want spvp, we want a WvW map with nothing on it to capture where we can just kill eachother with our own gear that we farmed for. I expect a new spvp map though that they’ll say they designed for guild vs guild, because they don’t listen.
