Anyone else having this issue?

I download at like 45KBps at MOST, and right now its telling me connection error. My internet is fine and the normal client works fine, but this is just insanely slow and frustrating.

Are there too many people downloading this right now or what?

Procession of blades shouldn’t get a nerf. Its damage requires the target to stay in the trap during the whole duration of the animation. The only way this trap is viable is when coupled along with dragon’s maw that holds the target in place during procession of blade’s duration assuming the target doesn’t have stability.

You didnt read either, right? Keeping an NPC in the AoE is far from difficult.

To cancel equip kit on second leap and drop it before the final smash with weapon swap.

You can do this late or early during animation its up to you.

Your complaint isn’t about trap mechanics, since DH traps work just like any other trap. Your complaint is really about trap damage on DH. The only way to satisfy your complaint would be to nerf DH trap damage specifically, which might kill the spec.

I think you are missing the point.

MAJOR reason this is an issue is that the NPCs can not move out of the trap and will often trigger the passing through damage on Test of Faith multiple times thanks to the break bar. I have even seen it exploited this way by gaining the NPC agro and leading him.

Hi guys, anyone able to figure out exactly when this dodge is?

What i seem to be getting is 3 evades of about ~1/3 of a second during each leap for a total of 1second as the tooltip states, but worth noting is that you CAN be hit when you hit the ground between leaps.

I can not seem to get this consistently and would love it if someone has gotten this to work consistently and can confirm?

A problem is that i am completely unable to cancel the skill by stowing weapon. This is mildly frustrating…

On another note you can swap for a kit during the animation in the similar way to any other skill and it looks like EACH leap triggers ON SKILL effects like confusion.
The distance travelled also procs Torment damage, which is consistent with other movement skills.

No counter play to Unrelenting assualt? U mean besides dodging blocking etc right? Double dodge basicly mitigates 90% of the dmg.

I think phase traversal is a much bigger issue when used properly. Hell without Phase traversal revs are absurdly easy to kite. And if ppl learn to stop attacking when the rev pops his glint heal the rev dies really fast aswell.

Yeah double dodging, that requirement seems totally balanced… Right… Not like they can follow up with any big attacks after that that might need dodging…

Improve AI please. No nerfing of things because AI is too dumb to figure things out.

AI is harder to figure out than nerfing an unhealthy mechanic.

Besides traps are cancer in conquest as well in my opinion.

The on spot damage that a lot of traps put out allow classes like DragonHunter to burst down the lord way to hard. The lord can not avoid these traps the way players can, condi trapper rangers have similar capabilities.

Can we tone down traps or improve the AI so that the lord does stand in these traps for their full duration stacking TONS of burning or taking tons of unavoidable damage?

Thief was able to stand on the mantle above and between the stairs to do free ranged damage without being hit by anything, was barely able to get up their myself.

Only way to damage him up there was either to also get up there or range him from the middle of the room which isn’t possible with a lot of skill, mortar and nades somehow just didn’t impact, ranger longbow was able to, leading me to believe only direct hits work.

Fix this please, how the kitten this even ended in the final product is beyond me.

EDIT : Blue side, don’t know about red.

I’ve tried blast, i want to love it but any sort of elevation difference makes it potato (aside from the toolbelt).

The defense field of the bulwark gyro, what does it actually do.

Does it reflect all ranged moves?
What happens if an enemy is inside the bubble?

Any attack that counts as a projectile(no not the finisher kind only, ALL projectiles, strangely they are not that well documented in game). If they are inside the dome, they still get reflected.

How do you feel about having no stunbreak? I haven’t tried bulwark in pvp but i want to, it seems like it would be sweet but i don’t think i could take that + a stunbreak so it’s one or the other

Normally I would have said that HELL no to running without stunbreak.

However the fact that bulwark itself AND the defence field utility can be cast when stunned it actually isn’t bad.

Also you still have Elixir S in traits for the times you REALLY get pressured when stunned.

I do however think that if they have a CC heavy comp blast gyro is your better bet than Bulwark.

hi guys!

Right so after a week of running and tweaking this build and trying a lot of variations, i settled on a somewhat boring to theorycraft(fun to play though) but very effective Scrapper variation on the Marauder Rifle engi.

This build is designed for farpoint pressure or close point reinforcement.

It is exceptionally good at dueling, has amazing resilience to conditions and has exceptional ranged defence.

Swap out Bulwark for Blast gyro if they don’t have a lot of projectile users or have heavy lockups. ANother alternative is Elixir gun for more use of HGH and some more support potential.

The stealth Gyro elite is optional though, I prefer moa for lich/rampage/DS cancels.

It is worth noting that out of combat swiftness is not close to full uptime, but Elixir B does give you quite a bit.

I didn’t even know this game had DR. This is scary. Very appropriate for Halloween because now I’m afraid (not sarcastic).

Most people don’t notice it. Its also mostly apparent in Events Reward, which don’t matter as leveling is so fast. But now that masteries require so much more XP, its frustrating.

Getting those updrafts doesn’t work half the time and restarting the whole fight because of it is ALSO buggy, the platform doesn’t always respawn, the rifts don’t always work.

99.9% of people who complain of DR have not been affected by DR. Do a search on it, it is explained quite well on the forums.

Really? So the 5K XP(instead of 18K) per event I get after spending 2 hours in Orr is not DR?

May I ask, are you doing the same rotation of events?

(forgive the vague names, I don’t know what half the bosses are called off the top of my head)

For Example: Event chain restarts (20 mins after VineWrath is dead?)

Defend Red Keep and associated land based events around Red Keep, until it is time to:
Defeat Red Keep Mordrem Boss and then:
Head to lane 1, 2 or 3, top, middle or bottom (whatever name you give to the lane set is your own calling)
Defeat VineWrath, wait 20 mins while chest farming, rinse and repeat..

The game remembers way more than one or two events that you do, and if this is how you play (whether its red, blue or purple keep that you concentrate on) it WILL remember that you have only been doing that specific set of events and will flag you for diminishing returns.

Take for example, the old Queensdale boss train.
They added DR to this, so after you had done maybe 3 cycles of Spider, Boar, Troll, Bandit, Oakheart (or whatever order your server chose) it would see that even though you have done 5 events, you have done the same 5 events time after time, and thus, it hits you with DR. I’ve personally seen that one happen.

Mix it up some basically, because to me, it sounds like you are on the same event rotation for the majority of your Silverwastes session.

I’d say the best thing to do would be (for example) defend red for 10 mins, run a caravan, run to blue for 10 minutes, move to purple, kill purple Mordrem boss, do VW, then on the next round defend purple, run a purple caravan then defend blue, then run a red caravan, kill the blue Mordrem Boss this time..

Mix it up some basically, because to me, it looks like you are on the same event rotation for the majority of your (hour long?) waiting for VineWrath to spawn sessions.

So I do 50% of SW events meta and then on next rotation I get hit by DR, getting reduced XP, karma, and coin.

What is the point of staying on map with the map buffs you get?

This makes masteries rediculously frustrating as I can’t upgrade the guild WHILE getting mastery XP.

Can we please get a clarification on DR?

This is beyond frustrating.

DD ele is now a sustain spec.

It can’t lose a 1v1 on equal ground but thats irrelevant for an essentially a mobile bunker/support spec, the dmg on it is GREATLY reduced.

The middle game on the picture below was definitely won but according to the history I lost it.

Is this some sort of API bug?
Is the ingame win/loss count even accurate if this kind of thing can somehow be incorrect?

What the heck is going on here?

EDIT : If you look closely you can see I was red side and red side got the win according to the score count.

After seeing many comments like this I wonder why do PvE players come to the PvP forum, pick an issue they can’t comprehend and then whine about other people bringing up the issue? Would fixing this hurt you somehow or something?

Lets all run cele necro then i guess.

In all seriousness burn guard defence and pasice counterpressure needa toning down, engineer condition spam needa to promote more skillful play instead of the way it is now, other than that condition specs are fine.
