Pets:
1. the possibility to switch between pet skills and weapon skills with the f2 button
2. pets cast the skills instant when the player press the button (f2 skills)
3. some pets with blast finishers on f2 button
4. a pet with stealth on f2 button
5. a pet with heal on f2 button
weapons:
1. offhand axe: whirle defense: pressing the skill again after the first cast knocks the target enemy back and is a blast finisher
2. longbow, huge skillrework
barage rework: be able to run when cast this skill, fast cast time, only one barrage rain
point blank shot: combinate this with hunter shot, swiftness also for the player
rapid fire: remove it
place for 2 new skills: one with a dodge and one with a blast finisher?
3. longsword, huge skill rework
well that have to be some gameplay like on a s/d thief, because survive for dps ranger is rly low on melee.
it needs much more surive (dodges/block/stealth) in the offensive skills, also the cast time have to be much faster (maul…)
actualy the skills on this weapon feels more like warrior gameplay not like ranger gameplay.
4. mainhand axe:
auto attack: 1 bleeding on first hitted target (same like engi auto attack pistol)
5. shortbow:
make it somehow a little bit less a pew pew pew weapon
Traits:
1. more trapper ranger traits in different traitlines, maybe move the 2 trapper traits also into marskmanship 10 and 20
2. more dps ranger traits, to make a dps ranger rly strong
3. more traits to add active condi cleanse on some skills for dps ranger builds
4. more traits for active pet use (pet can dodge, pet swap, stronger f2 skills)
5. 50% traits are still useless, pls rework them (just one => instinctual bond.. there are more like this one and thats a rly bad joke)
Utility Skills:
1. remove all shouts and make new nice pet skills for a active beastmaster gameplay
2. traps: traps need a buff, for example a ranger need 3 utility slots if he plays with 3 traps. an engi have the dmg and combofields of this 3 traps in one utility slot (bomb kit) and thats even better then the 3 traps
3. spirits: spirits are invincible in the time when the ranger use dodge.
4. active condi cleanse on some utilitys, maybe create a new skill for that
5. heal as one: add a dodge

surprise surprise, yes mesmer is rly powerful now, possible to win nearly all 1vs1 with it.
so whats more fun to fight now, the zoo or the invulnerability and stealth illu clone wars profession? :P
spirit ranger is allrdy nerfed enough…
it wins nearly no 1vs1 anymore
only reason to run it in our team is the rez spirit right now.
btw the “bugfix” to make each spirit active skill 1 second cooldown after you spawn them dont work anet.
the spirits active still not work if you press the button to fast after this one second.
so much time my rez spirit just dont cast his active and im sure it dont get a interrupt…
the same for my other spirits, sometimes they dont cast when i press the active skills to fast, just test it in the mists, theres nobody to interrupt it…

weapons should not buffed/nerfed anymore :
shortbow, dagger, torch, mainhand axe and sword (well sword 1 maybe need a rework)
weapons need a total rework on skills not only dmg:
longbow and longsword
weapons need a bit buffs:
offhand axe and warhorn
useless skills wich need a total rework:
shouts: guard, search and secure
survival: quickening zephyr (remove the stunbreak there and give it some offensive)
survival: muddy terrain (well most other skills are rly much more interesting Oo)
skills need a bit buff:
trapps: spike trap, flame trap, viper trap and frost trap (traitreword and more traits)
survival: sharpening stone (well nobody use it for some reason)
spirits: frostspirit
shouts: guard, description sounds good, but it dont works good in a fight…
at least traits:
there are still ~50% uselsess traits and traits in the wrong traitline.
there need more INTERESTING traits for a dps ranger in the marksmanship and skirmishing traitline.
there need to be more interesting traits for a trapper ranger (like the traits for a spirit ranger)
maybe bring our 2 trapper traits into an other traitline like marksmanship 10 and 20 because this traitline have condi duration.
wildness survival:
our best traitline, it needs always the 30 points for the condi cleanse.
would be nice if theres some alternative condi cleanse in some other traitlines which give some skills active condi cleanse, so some rangers like dps rangers dont have to go with 30 wildnes surival anymore…

spirit build is not passive. spirits have active skills too. stop calling it passive build. a ranger equipped with signets that’s passive.
Because signets don’t have active effects right? And because you’re totally using sunspirit for the delayed blind and not for the burning procs on auto right? Maybe think before you type?

there was a state of the game i remember with battosai and you was speak about
some things like
-active condi cleanse (each ranger build still need 30 points in wildness survival)
-a viable dps ranger build (longbow skills and longsword skill still crap)
-more pet skills controll (well i know you dont want do that….)
-rework some pets ( ~75% of pets are still useless)
atm ranger have only 1 viable build and thats still the
spirit ranger and it get nerfed and nerfed..
(and anet call it bugfix…btw the “spirits dont cast there active skills bug” is not fixed yet. now the spirits dont cast the active when i press my buttons to fast after the 1 second cooldown :P)
sure, spirit ranger is still viable, but win 1vs1 with it on close is for sure over in tpvp
the warrior, s/d thief, bomb engi and mesmer will destroy it hard,

well thats enough to dont use this build for close or send it into 1vs1 situations,

still crap and i think it will stay bad if anet not will rework the full longsword, longbow and offhand skills…
this skills feel so bad and slow, not working together for a 1vs1 or teamfight situation.
there was so much dmg buffs in the last patches for this weapons but they are still not viable… i think because the weaponskills itselfs sux to hard…
well also most traits are not good for dps ranger builds.
trapper ranger:
well spirit ranger is so much stronger then trapper ranger and spirit ranger is a support build…
that not means spirit ranger need a nerf again, it means trapper ranger need a huge buff…
you should think about bring more traits for trapper or give the only 2 tapper traits into an other traitline or make it a 10 points and 20 points trait.
dont know, but this build needs so sure a buff (it was most fun to play ranger in the past…)

well dont know it was not bad in the past and it was only a 1vs1 build.

what do you think about give the old pvp players gold for the tournys they played in the past?
because there are much old players played tpvp since beta and spend rly much time only into pvp.
for example, i played 3802 tpvp machtes and won 2441 of them.
i never played much pve, so i have only 20 gold atm :P
maybe it would be nice to give us pvp only players a bit gold after the patch.
maybe only for the wins ~15-20 silver.
sure it would be much gold in a short time, but pvp only players never have much gold and we spend rly much time into playing the game in pvp since beta and dont get much more then fun for that :P

most of them are not good players and stay in top 100 since a few weeks and this only because theres not much strong players left.
the good players who always fight against good teams and stay in ladder top 100 a rly long time should get no rewards because anet kicked us out from top 100 for dont play the sad meta atm.
and the “more less skilled ppls” staying in the ladder top 100 since a few weeks should get a reward?
sry but thats a joke, much good players was hold there top 100 rank rly long time and this ppls also won this rank because they was fight against good ppls in a meta which was need more skill then this fail meta atm.
and now give a reward to some ppls staying in top 100 since some weeks because all the good old players left? thats a joke.
they can give rewards some month after ladder reset and then only when this ladder finaly works well.
We have increased the rate at which someone decays on the leaderboard. We were hoping to observe the change for a few days before making any sort of announcement, but you guys are too clever for that.
Justin has also changed the decay to update every hour, rather than once a day, so you should see movement happen a bit more often.

i played this game since release only in pvp and in good teams vs good teams.
but at the moment its no more fun to play it.
the best time in my mind was when we was able to play 3 rounds tourny with a gem price.
also so much more ppls was play in this time.

Can’t see a thing amongst all the BS they do. They block your attacks.

Please just delete AI specs. Make it totally unviable with a huge nerf.

play spirit ranger and fight a warrior, necro, mesmer, thief, engi or guardian, even a good ele is not so easy to fight.
if you play a class with much passive mechanic, you have at the other side less self controll and the “good” enemy players can handle such things, because ranger passive and pet attacks happen always in same rotation.
most ranger qq is a learn to play problem, because ppls dont create a ranger to learn his skills. i know also much ppls in my friendlist played all professions, but not the ranger.
for example…
when i play my bunker guardian i can survive a spirit ranger like forever.
but when i play a spirit ranger i can kill much guardians.
and why, just because this ppls dont know the ranger class well.
in think they should remove it.
in my mind the leaderbords is one of the reasons ppls dont play much as before, because all ppls care rly much about this bad ranking (i do it myself also to much)
i prefer the time before the ladder when i think about tpvp in gw2.
the good old 3 map free tournamet and paid tournament with gem price (best times)
and the qualipoint times (was ok)
in this time there was much teams joining tournys.
but also much friendlist teams or even much heart of the mists random teams have do alot of tournamet, because there was no problem to lose some matches.
at the 3 map tournamet times was good, if you whant just play do the free tournys, there was the skill not so high, if you whant hard matches then join the paid tournamet with your team vs other good teams and maybe win GEMS, not silly ranking…
in my mind this times was much better then the actual teamladder, because ppls only play with there team mates now.
this need 5 players online and if one of this 5 players is not only a full team just dont play because they dont want lose rank… (this leads to our second account situation, but most ppls even dont play much with the second acount random)
well and at least there is the soloq ladder.
this one is the most big no need ever, because i have to play with 4 random ppls.
if i have 4 good random ppls for sure i win ranking, but when i have bad luck i get 4 bad random ppls and lose rank.
anet should bring back 3 maps paid tournament option with gem price.
and this one should be the only one with also a ladder maybe.

1, Berserker stance – This is the only thing i agree with
2, Automated response – stack conditions before he hits 25% and he dies
3, Warrior stuns – You can dodge them.
4, Sword thief evades – Like I said before. Drag him around a corner, a tight space. He can teleport in and out, but you can use your autoattack to put bleeds on him. When you see him, DS and fear him. Place marks down on yourself, so when he teleports to you, he gets loads of conditions. Counterplayed
5, Thief feline grace trait – Thief is squishy as all hell without evading/dodging.
6, Vigor – You’re a necro. Peel it off. Use vigor yourself. If you can’t get vigor, you can still counterplay them by autoattacking and timing your attacks for AFTER they dodge
7 , Runes of lyssa – Like I said before. It has a decently long cooldown, and is mostly used for counter-condition play when the user doesn’t have much already. Make them pop it, and then burst them down.
8, Sigil of energy – Dodging is not op, it’s part of the game. Time your attacks for after their dodge.
9, Nature of renewal. Interrupt it. If you can’t interrupt it, kill it.
10, Ele burst – Ele is the easiest class to burst down. So squishy. I love killing Ele on my necro
11, Signet of spite – The cooldown is 48 seconds traited. If you can’t live after a signet of spite, you need to learn to play a necro. You have SO MANY CONDITION REMOVALS. Dagger #4, staff #4. And why not use plague? It’s a stun break, and grants an instant win against other condition classes.
12, healing spring – No. Already nerfed. Without this, ranger lacks a lot of active condition removal.
13, Elixr R – 120 second cooldown on -MAYBE- rezzing themselves.
14, Lag – Personal problem
15, Emphatic bond – Passive Condition removal is hard and most of the time doesn’t remove what you want it to. Doesn’t help as much as it should
16, Healing turret – It heals for about 33% of a regular heal skill, but it can be used multiple times if you let the turret live. Kill the turret.
17, Healing signet – Wait until they pop it, then burst them down.
18, Shadows refuge – I can kill the thief 3/4 times that he pops shadow refuge. I guess i’m just a good necro.
19, Stand your ground – I can see why other classes other than necro have a problem with this. But necro?
20, Burning – No.
21, Asuras – Tab targeting fixed in october.

It seems that your problem here is that you don’t know when to use your skills correctly. The goal is to wear them down enough, make them pop their utilities/heals before you have to, and then burst them down with your long cooldown abilities.
As a Necromancer, I have 0 problems with everything you mentioned except for Berserker Stance.

1 person is downed (you can see by the downed symbol above the corpse)
both of them are on your team ( because the downed symbols are blue)You can see the enemy spirit ranger has his ult spirit up in case anybody on his team dies (unlikely because 2 of your teammates are already down)
And there is a mesmer on point which might mean backpoint is open (if of course you knew mesmer was playing backpoint defender)This is a lot of good information, that can be gathered from a rather poorly positioned camera angle. I’m not saying it’s perfect, but I don’t think it’s much to complain about as a player. As a viewer? sure but honestly I dont give a kitten about the 200 people watching spvp. E-sports is over lets just have fun.

to know the backpoint defer is in mid is also not so hard when the team always say how much players on the points.
when 5 players play in teamspeak and every player have eyes and can speak, then such things can be handle for sure fast and good.

if you would spam your strong aoe condi dmg on point there would be no longer spirits or enemy players run around :P
then i see the target is on yoroshi and not on the rez spirit, so if you down him now he get rezed.
2 of your mates are downed, one is death, looks like you have lose the teamfight, but i just wonder why your mates are down and you the necro is still alive, because when they dont target you hard you should do rly hard dmg on point against enemy team.
but well, instead make dmg you have target the storm spirit without any reason,

looks like you get 3 caped if your 5. death player dont respawn fast enough :P
at least seriously if you lose because this to much animations, then you just have to practise more.
thats not much animations on this picture and because your old 2 spirit ranger qq topics, the spirit ranger is for sure not the reason for to much animations on point.
its same huge animations on a teamfight since beta till now, nothing changed

spirits do not attack and if they do its not hard to see.
btw the ranger have to time this attacks by himself not the spirits do it for you like the mesmer illus duellist and all this crap do.
the spirits just give the swiftness, protection and burning each 10 seconds, thats the 3 passives of this build with the condi remove trait.
if you have problems to target a spirit ranger you should switch the game.
i dont know how u guys can target a mesmer then,
also i dont know how the hole forum masters think the mesmer is to weak, you guys sleep on your forum topics instead playing.
look online, mesmer is for sure viable and rly strong, there are much mesmers running around again.

it was like ~3 weeks “condi meta” without warrior.
press f2 button like always and get the
pet skills on weapon skillbar
press f2 again to get weapon skills back.
its same like engi or ele then.
easy to play for each pve noob too.
and at least give a option to enable/disable pet self skill use
if u dont whant do them by urself.
for sure for self pet skill use the skills have to come instant when i press the button.
no pet skill use because pve players would be to stupid for this?! serious, what a bad joke.
there would be no problem for ranger players to press something like f2 and have the pet skills on the skill bar and when press f2 again have the weapon skills back…
then just make the pet do there skill instant when u press the button and well done.

in this game each class have not much skills and is fast to learn but “hard to master”
with this changes engi and ele still would have more skills to use then a ranger.
engi and ele is most fun to play classes atm, just because more skills.
i whant play a rpg game there with much self skill use!
also give the much passive crap finaly a cooldown bar.
for example i whant to see when my passive stun break or the empathic bond on ranger is rdy and not on cooldown…

forum noobs and anet work rly fine toghether in nerf things.
most big luck i have is to learned early enough to play guardian well,
because this one never need changes, its like a rule, but its the most strong bunker for teamfight, there is no alternative, hm.

there was some speak about give ranger more active condi remove and battosai was speak with them about give active pet skill controll.

but well, there was the spirit ranger and the noobs who cant beat it and so this problems are not any more important :P
-All spirits can now be launched, knocked down, and knocked back.
This was a bug fix which now will allow more counter-play when fighting spirits.
-Storm Spirit, Frost Spirit, Sun Spirit, Stone Spirit, and Spirit of Nature will now begin their recharge when the spirit dies instead of when the spirit is summoned.
-Storm Spirit, Frost Spirit, Sun Spirit, and Stone Spirit: Recharge has been reduced from 60 seconds to 25 seconds.
-Spirit of Nature: Recharge has been reduced from 240 seconds to 180 seconds.
Previously you were able to pre-cast spirits before a fight so that when they would die you could instantly re-summon them. This made it feel like there was little to no counter play. Players could take the time to AOE them down simply to have to deal with another set of spirits. These changes were made so that there is a time window where the ranger will be without spirits once they die. Since the spirits now die after their duration, we had to reduce the recharge to compensate. In fights where they are dying often, the shorter recharge is a buff.
Solar Flare: Fixed a bug so this skill no longer applies a duplicate infinite duration blind.
This was a simple bug fix removing unintended functionality.
sweet fail again to listen to the forum qqers, but ok do what you whant.
now think about the cast time, then im fine with this fail.
because when the spirits are down, the cast time is rly huuuge and in this time a spirit ranger eat much dmg vs good players.
the noobs will for sure let u summon them without interrupt this long cast time or go massive offensive, because in this time they know u cant dodge.
oh and you need to give spirits now more hp again, because it was important to play them in teamfight and a 1vs1 with fast resummon.
back to guardian, till next buff.
sry anet but you are a bit kitten.
it cant be true to buff things for nerf them again.
give me the old spirit ranger before the last big buff patch back, because its now more bad then before :P

pls, consider you talk with ~90% fullnoobs about balance in this forum.
better do what you think is right and dont listen to much to the forum.
most forum users camp 24/7 on forum and dont play enough to be able in give good feedback.
also the “good” players (much old mesmers) just qq around because they are not able to play the old build.
the ladder is one reason because players are not try to create new builds and test around, because much of the good players watch to much for their rank and dont whant lose any rank.
just a example how long it was need to realice that the cc warrior is so strong… just a bad joke how slowly peoples try around to find builds instead whine.
the last balance patch was not a disaster.
calling s/d thief, necro, warrior and ranger op and
speak about balanced guardian means.
oh wonder nearly each profession is op and only ele and mes have a bad spot (what not means they are to weak, they have rly huge dmg output).

also this to much npcs on point because spirit ranger qq is kitten.

i have fun playing my guardian and ranger when he is finaly viable.
its a not viable > viable > not viable > viable profession
but i have np to play him every balance patch with another build, because whiners on forum.
it would be rly better if you dont buff/nerf to much around on working stuff.
better try to make not much used skills/weapons/traits work
by improve them.
guardian is the perfect profession, alone when i play bunker guard,
there are all weaponsets useful. its so hard to pick a weapon combo out, because i always think “hm this one would be also so nice”
same on bunker guard traits.
there more then 4 different ways to play it and all are good in different situations.
THIS on all professions would be nice

most of you guys just should go back to fractals.
there you can win,
because this npcs are brainless as most of you rank 1000+ guys running around without any tactic or skill.
if spirit rangers win you, then it was just a better player or you was to stupid to kill his spirits first.
so spam on pve forum and leave pvp again.
im a rly nooby spirit ranger, because i can lose vs necros, engins, cc warrios, s/d thiefs and after long fight sometims vs a good ele.
but i also stay rank 70 just because unbalanced imba spirit ranger.
we spirit ranger noobs dont need to know enemy attack animations and attack skills.
next time when i lose some profession i also make a new hate topic instead start training how to beat it, good idea.
i rly will enjoy the next balance patch and the meta change,
because like always, we will have much much new crying.
its the same procedure as every month.
we will have some new topics about the bad meta again.
bad burst meta kittening dople ele > bad condi meta kittening dople necro and spirit rangers.
