Most zerg necros run no stun breaks, try that 5v20

Deathshroud and plague form are excellent survival tools that allow your team to peel for you. A necro with a large health pool isn’t as dependent on stunbreakers as a guardian, for example.
I’ve never experienced this, but it would amuse me greatly; I would continue to follow them as best I could. It’s like when I run into the other WVW scourge “duelling”; if someone tells me I’m interferring it only makes me kill the enemy with even more fervour and it is oh so satisfying. :-)
That’s when we lead you into a zerg and waypoint out before we get in combat.
Convenant is giving AoN a bad name. He posts a movie a while back ago that greatly inflates the number of people they were fighting. A 4v20 followed by another 4v20? Not even close.
He says the competition and skill is much greater in T2 but they choose to post a fight against a PvE guild trying to figure out how to portal bomb and failing. Why not post a movie against one of the skilled guilds that gives you a good fight instead?
He says he has been to the lower tiers and insults the roaming guilds there but he has never even fought any of them to my knowledge. I’ve played in T2 while on Dragonbrand. I’ve fought JQ. I’ve fought in T8. There is no significant difference between the individual skill of the soloers and roamers from the top tier to the bottom tier.
Yes, there are more good players in the upper tiers but there also more bad players. Why? Because there are more players. End of story.
Also, I just realized that KAINENG is in T2. Kaineng is not a server known for it’s individually skilled players. In fact, quite the opposite. Kaineng (the new version) is one of the least skilled servers on an individual or small group basis that I’ve faced since playing the game.
The camera is the way it is on siege to prevent LOS exploits. How you can think it’s even reasonable for someone to kill siege placed inside a keep by placing an arrow cart right up on the wall and using field of view to exploit LOS is quite amazing regardless of how it is done.

Play on a high res 30" monitor in windowed mode it’s part of the game. no third party software necessary. Abyss has zero tolerance for hacking/exploits.
Which is why I also said hardware. Taking out siege this way is obviously not intended gameplay and by defending it you are no better than the cheaters who use software to circumvent intended gameplay. End of story.

Do the 20 man you are looking to fight need to be organized ppl or just pickups preferebly upscaled ?
The 20man can be organized or not. As long as the small guild has the skill to fight them. Im looking for the one skilled guild above all.
You might also look into ADD NOQQ and BTSY not sure what servers they are on now though… Of the ones I mentioned I’d say XOXO/SPCA aren’t really focused on synergy and supporting each other rather just skilled players who run together.
OG has fought and killed ADD, NOQQ and BTSY. Need something better than that.
Well, that is pretty much a flat out lie. OG never beat us in a straight up GvG fight. They might have been a part of a larger force that killed us, of course, or won some 1v1 fights here and there (of which I was not involved). OG had some individually strong players but they didn’t communicate well (they admit they weren’t even on voice) while in a group which is why they lost against us when we did run across them GvG, which wasn’t often.
We’ve fought many of the people mentioned here. They know I don’t lie about fights we’ve had. I’d strongly advise against recruiting someone who makes things up like this.

Yeah, first fight with Xsorus I was winning pretty easily (I made a few mistakes in the fight in the movie which allowed him to get away so he could kite and heal) but Gaz backstabbed him when he was low health so I had to ditch that clip.
After that we were letting him 1v1. Gaz beat him at least once.

It’s hard to know whether to help or not sometimes. I’ve not engaged because someone was 1v1ing but then spent the next few minutes getting rage tells for not helping after they lost.
I had a thief from SNFU jump me while in a close 1v1 a few times. And, that is fine. Just don’t expect any consideration when the situation is reversed. /shrug

This movie is a solo/duo/small group movie. There is some footage not from this matchup but most of it is. Most of the group fights have a guild versus guild element to it. By pointing this out, I’m not trying to call anyone out. I’m just trying to let the viewer know which fights are more challenging than fighting a PUG.
Quite a few straw men being torn down in here lately. Who said that DR is outnumbered in every single fight that occurs? Who said that DH never wins any fights when they are outnumbered?
There are four WvW maps running 24/7, it’s silly to make over-reaching generalizations.
There are obviously going to be fights where DR has the number advantage and there are obviously going to be fights where DH (or IoJ) wins despite DR having a number advantage.
So this picture finally shows what DR’s definition of a small roaming group is. :-) DR you zerg in very large numbers just like anyone else. This was just about 15 minutes ago and was a lot of fun.
Nobody ever said that DR only moves around in small roaming groups. -.-
Exactly and thank you for that. That picture shows what pretty much happens on a nightly basis, a huge DR zerg roaming around, but yet criticize DH for the very thing they do.

Yes, confusion is definitely the weakest condition. All of the confusion mesmers and engineers out there (and there are a lot of them) just play confusion builds because of how challenging it is for them to succeed with it. What noble souls to put themselves at such a disadvantage against other players.
And after all I do to help you guys out? I DID train our commanders. You guys just don’t know who I am because I don’t want the attention.
I made my decision, as selfish as it is, and I thought I’d be happy. Really. I prove myself by capturing hod’s garrison and etc by myself.
I will be completely honest with you guys. I love this game. I love this community. Hod was my home, and I’m sorry that I can’t go back to all my friends. I’m moving to db after this week to join the rest of the people who got smart and moved before all this kitten started. Hopefully nothing drastic will happen to me.
But if you don’t see me on for a week, something DID happen.

Well, some people on DH are doing it. It won’t change the outcome of the match, but it ruins the fun for those who have invested time and effort into building defensive siege only to have it taken out by cheaters.
As far as the arrow cart thing. I’ve seen arrow carts placed flush up against an outer wall (dead giveaway for exploiting a zoom hack or bug). I’ve also seen an arrow cart placed inside a wall and used for defense. Both I’ve seen this week, but not in earlier weeks. It has been someone or some people from DH that have been doing it.
To the ranger from Baltimore Style, nice fight outside of SM. I lost pretty badly, but was also in the middle of eating, lol. I still would probably lose, but Id enjoy doing a few 1v1 if someone could pass the message along, or if you read the boards. Could learn a lot from you. You were using two canines, I believe. Dont remember what weapons though.

IoJ: Your commanders might want to consider not going for points for the rest of the week so you drop down a tier. SF would take your place and you might actually end up with a decent matchup against HoD and NSP.
I have recently leveled my necro to 80 and get into some 2v1 battles. The problem I am having at the moment is trying to stomp people without taking too much damage.
Is there an ability or special thing I can do in order to make this happen?
It’s incredibly difficult to do as a condition necro. You can fear mark revivers, or go DS/fear to disrupt a single reviver. Condition necros aren’t going to typically have DS stability, well of darkness, warhorn daze, etc.
Power necro has some better tools available but is still quite lacking in this department.
Bleeding them out doesn’t really work with multiple revivers. I’ve started to just give up on stomping completely. I’ve been poisoning the downed and just loading up the reviver with conditions. If they get the revive off then I epidemic and see if I can get them both downed at the same time.
It’s worked a few times, but I just don’t think necro is a top tier soloing class because of this one issue. It’s a very good duo/trio class if you team up with someone with solid stomp mechanics.
Fun fight against [KING] at the end! Contrary to many other people, I’m actually enjoying this match-up quite a bit. Yes, the zergs are annoying, but I think there are still quality small fights taking place.
Nice fight and love the pull-away-invis-to-stomp at the beginning. We only fought SF for one week before heading up but I remember that KING had some good players.
Which brings up the most unsatisfying fact of them all…. Of the hundreds of people in each tier logging in to wvw…. We can count the groups of them that want to FIGHT OTHER players and use their character builds testing what works best and what doesn’t on one hand. It’s an impossible shame.
Sorry, I am not understanding that. Do you mean the number of groups that want to small group pvp are limited in number or there is a large amount?
Do people facing a door or sitting on some siege pressing 2 buttons desire to fight in “non-guaranteed” outcome fights or keep facing the door and pressing 2 buttons?
It’s absurd almost the entire population of every tier every server every map would rather face that awesome door and press those 2 wicked abilities on the arrow cart to “snare” and mass Aoe arrows down……

To say that there were 35 of us and that we had to fallback from 12-15 really stretches credulity, don’t you think? Oh, yeah… and he got a few of us too! Quite an impressive feat for someone to charge into 35 and get some stomps with only a few guildmates and PUGs supporting him!
Of course, we had to fallback repeatedly and were only able to kill a few “idiots” (was he referring to his guildmates there? I mean, if he wants to call his guildmates idiots I guess that’s fine but it just seems wrong to me) that followed us.
Found more footage of last night that I thought I had deleted. Here you can see more footage of GRIM along with a handful of other DH repeatedly forcing us and 20+ other DR to fall back.
To the guy who mentioned that we didn’t have the outmanned buff, you will notice it pop up on us during this clip. That was almost certainly a bug which I will promptly submit a bug report on.
Just a word of advice. We have at least 5 people who fraps from time to time. It’s probably best to stick to the truth in such matters. And BTW, this is all trashcan footage. The person who said it’s expected for us to “farm” DH in this situation is absolutely correct (not because they are all bad, but because we are organized with communication and they did not have overwhelming numbers since they were quite spread out). There was nothing special about this fight. I’m just glad I still had the footage so I could dispute the bullkitten that was being thrown at us.
On DH borderlands, we usually have about 10 people mulling about citadel doing nothing. So numbers had to have been a lot closer to even than anyone has suggested.
As for being farmed, yeah, that’s what happens when one side is full of regulars on voice chat while the other side is full of pugs without a commander.
As I said in the description on youtube. I typically trashcan stuff like this. There is nothing special to this fight. It is only posted to refute the 35 DR versus 15 DH BS. He specifically mentioned our group. We reserve the right to call out bullkitten targetted at us when we see it.
Also, one of the people killed there was a commander. Not that it means anything.
lol its funny how under your skin i got. I was there at what i imagine to be the beginning of the skirmish. and we were indeed out numbered. I know after about ten min, i went afk on top of the keep wall to take a leak and deal with woman aggro.

Yes, dishonest people bug the hell out of me. At no point was there anything even close to 35 DR versus 15 DH. Why the F would we need “tactics” if we outnumbered you that badly? You were there for 10 minutes according to yourself. You claim we had 35 and you had 15. You say we fell back even though we had that kind of number advantage on you. Anyone with half a brain can see you are full of kitten.
Yeah, man… we had to fall back a few times and do some flanking maneuvers when your 15 turned on our 35. And you saw us extend and turn on your forces exactly how many times in a span of 10 minutes?
I also tried this whole “winning” thing that everyone keeps mentioning and made a video of it for anyone interested. You guys are lucky I don’t care about winning or else you’d all be screwed!
I ran out of HD space so I only recorded one fight that happened between the SW tower and Bay last night. In this clip you will see our full force of 35 falling back after 15 DH incuding GRIM put up some resistance.
The fighting here was pretty much nonstop for over an hour. We killed A LOT of people as more DH kept arriving. We were working on the tower to try to draw the DH out of the Bay that we pushed in there earlier.
When you see us “falling back” sometimes we are flat out running away because we are facing overwhelming numbers. Sometimes we are trying to move you to a position where the terrain gives us an advantage. Sometimes we are trying to draw you far enough away from your keep or tower so we can loop around to flank you to cut off your retreat route back to the keep so we can KILL YOU ALL. The last one is what we were doing last night. And we did it well.
Guilds that I’ve seen more than once running a smaller team include DE, Riot and PD from DH and HARD and UnS from IoJ. We rarely see UnS or Riot though. We see a lot of HARD and SE. There are others, of course, but I’ve only run across them once so they most likely don’t run around with a small team regularly.
HARD and SE remind me a little bit of FTF from Ebay in that they often field huge numbers but also have people who run smaller crews.
Man Oozo, were you in that fight where we [PD] kept getting pincered by the adnoqq guys into the IoJ masses by a NW tower (We were catting it and then almost everyone else got wiped)? Your tactical withdrawal and come from behind massacre to us was pretty nice – we were just starting to make ground against them. In the back of my head I knew it was coming tho, I just didn’t have the foresight to get our guys out lol. We were having a helluva battle there including when ya’ll showed up, that was a ton of fun.

I know there have been some insane 3 ways recently but I don’t specifically remember the one you are talking about (don’t remember one involving PD at the NW tower, so I probably wasn’t there).

He did say that, but he also said that he understands that as your strategy, now. And it is, isn’t it? I mean, I’ve seen you tear our zerg to shreds using it – seemingly no resistance, only to flank us from the sides. I’ve even complimented you guys myself, earlier in the thread.
I can’t comment on the numbers or anything, because I wasn’t there, so he could have been overstating; but what I’m trying to get at is that you guys always seem to take everything so pessimistically, and it’s really kittenting up these threads, haha.

Anyway, enough kittening – I was flipping camps with two friends and a pug tonight in DHBL as I’d gotten sick of seeing EB green and wanted to contribute a few points for us. After about an hour and a half of running around the map, back-capping what you DH guys were grabbing, you got smart and hid on the scaffolding – something we only noticed at the last moment… Too late for our little pug guy to notice! Haha.
That was a fun little fight we had up there; too bad a few of us rallied from those wolves/rams/whatever, or it would have ended a lot sooner! I think it was [SaS], but I’m not 100% certain..
