i wouldnt mind time gating locusts if it didnt time gate other people. it is the same as DR hitting everyone because of the bots.
food for thought: let us be able to farm missed daily achievements. maybe once/ week rotation? so if i don’t do something on monday, i can do it on sunday…
this will slow down locusts, but wouldn’t punish everyone else.
First of all, Terror was there all the time, just like fear chains – its nothing new, so I don’t understand why people moaned about necro being weak, while the skills considered OP now, were there from the beginning.
Secondly, s/d thieves power does not lay in the damage of his 333333 but autoattack dmg, and unblockable/boonstealing effect from Larcenous on top of nearly permanent evades. Its not as simple as “nerf 3 dmg”.
Elementalist is still a class that requires toning down, and every dedicated elementalist player who doesn’t live in denial will tell you that. Burst damage is over the roof, same as burst frequency, on top of great support (protection on demand, heavy aoe heals and peeling).
Unfortunately, same applies to the mesmers – the burst, even if comparable with damage, is even stronger than ele’s due to the fact it removes boons, so no aegis/protection will get in the way.
Moreover, Blurred frenzy also applies evade so its not “just 4k dmg ever 8 sec”, since you get immortality for 25% of your time in game if you just chain this skill (yes, just the theory but math never lies).
Speaking of condition removal on mesmer, I still don’t understand why wouldn’t you use Null Field. It is a great skill, removes plenty of conditions and used to be nearly mandatory skill back in Sep/Nov 2012 when condition meta was in play. Just to add some more, you can use torch, with a trait giving condition removal on torch skill usage, or put 10 in Inspiration for another condition removed with use of your healing skill.
And no, I do not say mesmer is viable – I do say however, that not enough condition removals on them is not the issue here.
Unfortunately, being a dedicated player, does not equal being aware of the problems with profession balance and game mechanics.

so here is why:
if you spec in condi remove on torch you loose boon remove on shatter and that trait is essential..if u spec on condi remove on heal you loose either illusionary persona -> must have or deceptive evasion – > must have or boon remove -> must have
if you use null-field and portal and rezz you dont have any disengage like blink which is essential against thieves etc or you loose extra dmg and a stunbreak like mirror images…u see?
so you must have 2 things and lets remove third thing from game because it kills you?
There are like 5 people playing right now, its very hard to do a dungeon.
its actually 4 people. so when we do a dungeon we guest on some server and each of us calls our RL friends to see if 1 more wants to join. then we hope we can clear the event blocking the dungeon. when that fails we log out for that day.

The most of piken guilds dont wanna play for score, we just wanna have good fight and fun in open fields and we hate when they heat your kitten in keeps, towers with 10 ACs. Its boring doing the same for 8 months or you guys wanna siege the same towers still 2 years and sitting all night in one ugly keep?
Deso have 50+ zerg on Piken BL atm, Blobalation strikes again a mixture of Coin, TLA, FG and a lot of DVG ofc. They even built ac’s in open field when we were greatly outnumbered, DVG’s blob tactics have really rubbed off on Desolation. Oh Elprozam, why couldn’t you of took blobbing to a server that already did it instead of taking down one with you…
don’t worry. evening will come and then you can show us how good a student you were, my pickles. yes, it is you that make us skill lag, not the other way around.
in any case, desolation is very proud of pickles learning possibilities. you have improved your zerging a lot theses two weeks. maybe one day, you will be worthy of meeting the queen vizunah.

I’m not sure if your serious, your accusing a medium population server with hardly any daytime/night time coverage a version of Vizunah?? I played on Desolation for 6 months+ and I’m certain Desolation have 3-4 times as much WvW population.
Although your from CS which I respect as a guild and I think Candy Fluxx is a really good commander I still can’t believe your accusing Piken of blobbing when Desolation has a reputation of being a blob server and Piken a guild server…
Desolation used to be a “guild” server until most of the good ones got fed up of the blobbing in higher tiers for example GH, VoTF and Bull (all 3 could wipe any deso guild to the floor except maybe INVI) with smaller or similar numbers. DVG are the main guild of Desolation now and they are a blob guild just like IRON used to be and focus purely on numbers and never raid alone as a guild without commander tag.
And just after I typed this I see this to prove my point (;

exactly… back then you killed a god, made a new one from a mortal, the world was in danger and you saved it… now you just…linger… killing the troll/oak/wasp/boar, stopping flame legion in cof for the thousanth time…not heroic…
even (oh lord help me) WoW had an amazing heroic feeling, Illidan, Lich king, deathwing…
You notice how you name the villains when you talk about getting a heroic feeling?
Decent villains are necessary for any memorable heroic story. Right now we haven’t had any.
The Elder Dragons are just generic evil force, their minions are mind-controlled pawns of their masters and then we get villains like Canach, who was nothing but a failed businessman whose major villainous talent was completely messing up everything he touches to an life-threatening degree.
There was much that I didn’t like about WoW but Illidan would not deign to be counted among this bunch.
But I’m remaining hopeful. There are interesting and rather underused villains like Faolain and Caudecus. There is still potential for our characters to face epic and memorable villains. The recent interview with Bobby Stein shows that ArenaNet is putting some serious thought into how they are presenting the stories. Let’s hope they don’t forgot what it takes to tell a good one.

You bought an item which was very specific, when your source of profit dies out, you complain. That’s the price of a niche profit gain. Next time I don’t think you will build/invest in something so focused that a tiny change can screw up your build.

I really miss vizunah……. deso fights way better under pressure, also for the record in the past few days we also got lots of new ppl in wvwvw and they just run around like flys without heads……and please stop QQ about blobs blame it on ArenaNet they made game in this way…. if you wanna fight then get on and lets fight, otherwise go cry somewhere else…….
It’s kinda funny to read post from random pugzords. Deso showed how they are good “under preassure”. When your mighty blobb is owned by one PS guild, in magic way you are going to change border. On last week, on every border your blob was runing away from PS organized groups, so please dont tell me that Deso is doing good under preassure. Most of morning/prime time you are being pushed to your borders, and just simply changing borders if its to hard for your 70+ blobbs. Sorry to say, but you are great forum warriors, nothing more. Keep dreaming that you deserve wining or so. Im pretty sure, if PS would find any night shift your mighty server prolly would be crushed.

piken, piken… you guys need to unblob to be able to start pointing fingers. piken BL is just ridiculous. seeing those guild tags running together is just sad. its still a blob, you know, even if its 100 men under same tag.
desolation needs a break from vizunah like servers. and piken is just upgraded version of vizunhan, nothing more.
idk what you guys talking about here… piken BL was the biggest blob i have ever seen. we started playing as guilds on friday but the blob we met there created by piken guilds was unplayable. we had to go viz style to counter it.
really disappointed with this week play style by piken. on the bright side, you have better blobs then vizunah. keep up the good work. if you teach vizunah your blob techniques, we are all kittened.
upgraded tier 3 keep with WP will be defended at all cost. at least on my server.
to upgrade a keep or tower to T3 takes time and effort and a good situation on map. if you don’t have that, you let the enemy take it until situation changes. you can not upgrade things while under attack.
but kitten , Blobolation realy sounds better :/
