No monthly sub > monthly sub
it doesn’t take a genius to figure that out.
Hi, since I am seeing so many people complain about being hacked and hearing about how over 11,000 people have had their accounts hacked why not use this system that WoW has that pretty much stops about 80% of all hacks.
I have a few bridges I would like to sell you.
I think the level balance is a great idea. If i’m level 60 and I go farm in a low level area with some friends who happen to be a lower level than I, I don’t feel it’s fair that I OHK everything is sight.
This is Guild Wars 2. If you want mana, go back to Diablo 3.
of course i’ll still be playing in 3 months. I have 7 other characters to level up.
Warrior here..(maybe good).
No issues with mez. One of the easiest frags for me.
You guys must of been terrible.
Agree with this.
I’m an ele an have no problems taking out mesmers.
Please do not make threads about exploits on the forum, especially the ones that have the potential to hurt the in game economy. Your almost guaranteeing that it will be exploited even more so than it already is. If you find one, use the in game report function or send an email. the link is on the wiki
Thanks

I can confirm this as well
nevermind. wrong thread.

Well the 1st Guild Wars took about a month of patches before everything started to calm down. I wasn’t expecting to go through the same thing again lol.

I can overclock my 3930k to 5GHz and my 680 Classfied to 1350Mhz and still cant pull 55 fps.

I didn’t see it listed. That’s why I made a post about it. Hopefully they make the feature account wide instead of character based. They can easily delete that blocked character and make another one. and bypass the block feature.

CPU. i7 3930k @ 4.5GHz (HT off)
GPU: EVGA 680 Classified (306.02 beta driver)
RAM: 32GB Corsair Dominator 1866MHz
SSD: 2x 512GB OCZ Vertex 4 Raid 0
FPS: 28-52
Render Sampling set to native, reflections set to off. Everything else is at its highest settings.
Is there any way you guys can post a screen shot of you CPU utilization? I’m curious to see what the average cpu usage is like.
GW2 is using Havok Physics. It doesn’t matter what you switch Nvidia Physx to in NVCP, the physics itself will always be calculated off the CPU.
I figured it out. thanks guys.
I hit level 25 in JC a little bit ago and now I can’t gain anymore exp for that until I start crafting higher stuff. I have a ton of iron ore that id like to turn into ingots. but can’t How do I go about doing this?
Thanks.
Couldn’t agree more.
There is no secret listing fee. The trading post is working as intended. If you read the wiki is says there is a listing and selling fee. And if your item doesn’t sell, you will not be refunded the listing fee.
You had to of logged into Guild Wars at least once prior to July 31st to reserve your character names for Guild Wars 2. With that being said, the only thing I remember reading from ANet on the matter is that shortly after launch the names will be freed up. I don’t remember them giving an exact time frame.
100%’ing each area. Like doing all the tasks, doing all the skill point challenges, and finding the POI/Waypoints.
This plus a little WvWvW always helps. I hit lvl49 a little while ago.
Nvidia has not added a single driver fix for this game and this goes all the way back prior to start of the BWEs. Both SLI and Crossfire are a hit or miss with people running 2 or more cards. I can barely hit 55fps on my 680 Classified.
Guild Hals are not implemented yet.
7-8 fps at 1920×1080, 12-14 with subsample. ~5 in cities.
ATI Radeon HD 4200, AMD Athlon II X4 645(3.10 GHz), 6 GB RAM.Yes, I realize the graphics card sucks, but I can’t afford a new one(+ power supply) atm. Any way to raise framerate would be wonderful.
Set render sampling back to native, reflections to none and shaders to medium. Set everything else to either meduim or low. see if that helps any.
The i7 920 was never considered a high end cpu, even 4 years ago.
@ himmelweiss:
You and I have the exact same motherboard and cpu. I am only running 1 680 Classified but I feel your pain.
Nvidia has yet to release fixes for this game. Hence the crappy performance myself and alot of other are getting.
Officially SLI isn’t supported in this game. It’s working for some people, others are having problems getting to working too. Just don’t expect any help from Arena Net if you start having problems with the game while SLI is enabled.
Is there anything to do besides completing Hearts and participating in events to gain exp?
Posted by: Phaze Delta One.2834
I find myself starting out with the idea that I am going to go to a certain point on the map, a heart or a vista or something else, and about twenty paces into my journey I am sidetracked—resource node, event nearby, a mob to try out a combat tactic on—and short story long, sometimes I do actually get to the place I had originally intended to go to. For me, there is almost too much to do in any given area. I like it.
Pretty much the same for me.
Read the wiki, it tells you exactly how the BLTC operates. It takes a listing fee when the item is posted and it will also take a selling fee when it sells. If the item does not sell, you wont be refunded the listing fee.
Running todays game with a 512MB video card is not recommended, even on the lowest settings. i would recommend upgrading to something with at leat 1GB of VRam. Your CPUS is fine for the most part.
i7 3930k @ 4.5GHZ
EVGA 680 Classified @ 1200MHz (306.02 Beta Drivers)
32GB Corsair Dominator RAM
At most ill get 55 FPS anywhere in the game. The lowest being 30 fps in crowded areas or group events. I have render sampling set to native and reflections set to off. Everthing else is at its highest setting. The game is still playable for the most part. I just expected to be getting better performance with what I have.

@ OP
you by chance wouldn’t be forcing AA through Nvidia Inspector, would you? The first pic you posted has me asking that. The AA flag (0×00401240) doesn’t work well on some systems and has been known to cause graphical issues like the ones being showed in the pictures you posted.
Bro, i’m running an i7 3930k @ 4.5GHz with an EVGA 680 Classified @ 1200MHz core and I can barely hit above 45 fps with every setting to its highest. I had to set render sampling to native and turn reflection to off with everything else is set to its highest setting Just to get above 50fps. I have yet to see 60fps in this game since i’ve started plying on the 25th of August.
There is only so much “optimization” the dev team can do to make older architecture compatible with this game. Have you tried overclocking your CPU some to see if that helps?
Also, is there any way you can post a screen shot of task manager? I would like to see what your CPU usage is like.
SLI nor Crossfire is officially supported in this game. Weather Nvidia or AMD adds their own SLI “fixes” to the game, there is only so much either of them can do considering the game itself does not support it.
