No it’s not bannable. But dont expect an official responce about it. I just recently switched over to SweetFX from using the SMAA Injector. And I was using that since BWE2.

Guild Wars 2 isn’t your typical MMO. Why is this still a surprise to some people? If having no gear progression makes people upset, maybe they should go play a different game.

Wait, how does this help? I mean it seems to be a server issue, but i dont understand how logging off and back on will fix it.

idk either. but on the 5th log in I was able to get it. ALso, the ghost is a bit further back than what is shown in the pic on the wiki. look a little ways back towards the cliffs edge.

People stay on them and block NPC’s, Quest givers, trading post areas, bank areas, merchants, etc. Some do it to be jerks, others because they don’t have any concept of anyone else but themselves and are too lazy to dismount out of respect for other players.

Additionally, mounts clutter up the field of vision, especially in cities, towns, etc. This can cause problems for players who use lower end systems not to mention simply being an eye sore.

Mounts are NOT needed in this game. The individual zones are not that big to run through and there are MANY way points scattered across each.

Mounts are NOT an integral part of GW lore.

One thing CCP does to buyers in Eve Online is to remove the bought currency. When the currency has been used to purchase something, this leaves the buyer with a negative wallet balance. Since they can’t afford the listing fee, they are locked out of the market (the same thing would happen in GW2).
So they come whining to the forum about a “mysterious” negative wallet balance. Which means that they just outed themselves as a gold buyer and letting everyone know how CCP punishes them. All without CCP having to violate their privacy policies.

So I propose that ANET copies this method for first offenses. Remove entire value of bought coin. Remove the items that were bought with this coin.
If that doesn’t work, keep repeating it with an increasing ban length. Say 1 week for the second offense, double that for each subsequent offense. The reason I’m suggesting temp bans is so the buyers remain in-game to warn other players of what will happen. Thus deterring them.
The increasing ban length is for those that don’t get the message.

Hey Gaile, unfortunately I don’t have the email anymore. But when I originally received it and hovered over the more detail tab (about a quarter way down the picture) it didn’t link to the address Kain Francois.4328 posted. It had another address associated with it . That’s why I stated in my OP that whoever is sending it, took an awful lot of time to make it look legit. Another thing, every email I have gotten from ArenaNet since I pre-purchased my GW2 account prior to BWE2 has always gone straight to my inbox. Including the one about the shadow of the mad king, the valid email you guys sent. The particular email I posted about went straight to my Spam folder.

Contact support if you want to change it.

I just received an email from guildwars2 @ ncsoft.c** via bluehornet.com about this weekends event. Whoever is doing this really took the time to make the email look legit. Until I hovered over the more details tab in the email and it linked to a completely different site. Just be careful guys about these emails.

It’s quite possible that’s what is causing the issue. I use iTunes for my music when playing games and GW2 is the only game I have issues with. I ended up creating a profile with my BlackWidow Ultimate Keyboard and switched around the keys I normally would use to different ones.

I would of sold it for 10g and called it a day.

No. Please DON’T add the option to inspect people. If you want to know what gear someone has, ask them. If you want to admire their gear, take a screenshot or three.

Inspecting gear would lead to “gearscore” type elitism and that has no place in this game.

I just reported 10 of them on my server (Yak’s Bend). They were all in Ebonhawk inside the cave with all the skrit. This is actually the 1st time ive ran into a bot since I started playing.

I believe this to be bugged. A few people that I have talked to in game say that I should be able to interact with the organ by walking up to it and pressing F. But no matter how close I stand to it, the interact icon doesn’t appear. Just want to make ANet aware of this. I am on Yak’s Bend Server

How do I use it? There is no interact icon.

When I spend more time dying and running from a way point back to my party than I do killing anything, something is wrong. When I spend more time trying to kill an enemy than I do progressing, something is wrong. When I spend more time…..oh forget it. Did anyone at ANet test these dungeons or did they just throw them together and hoped for the best.

ANet said they relaxed teh DR. What they didn’t say was how relaxed it was.

The ban was justified. Just because there’s an option to turn it on or off doesn’t mean I have to. There is a ToS for a reason. If you can’t follow it, maybe you should go play a different game.

Just copy the GW2 folder to another drive until you have your other SSD set up. Then paste it back on the new SSD.

Y U NO give out chest as a reward? At least something to offset the high repair bill. It cost me 9 silver 57 copper to repair my armor after that event . You guys might as well stop giving out money with these event.

The -cuda flag is intended to take advantage of cuda cores on Nvidia cards, not OpenCL. But as Zelta states, it does nothing at the moment.
