I am co leader in my guild and none of the functions are working for me. I had a problem the other day with invites and somehow it got resolved. Now after last nights disconnect, I can’t do anything . I have all the boxes checked in the ranks tab as well. Even unchecking, logging off, logging back in and rechecking everything doesn’t work.

Trying to send a friend an invite but she isn’t receiving anything. Been trying this for about 10 mins now. Anyone else having this issue?

I’m starting to think ANet got hit. No other tech site that I am registered to has this email address. They all use dummy accounts. Guild Wars 2 is the only game that I have registered to my main email account. Thankfully I have different passwords for the game and my account. I to received an email this morning stating that someone from China tried to access my GW2 account. So, that leads me to state the obvious.

I dont have any issues using my Naga Hex or BlackWidow Ultimate. I’m able to remap the key i want.

No, upgrading ram wont help you gain anymore FPS.

its in the graphics options. labeled LOD Distance. turn it to low or off. that should help some.

The reason why you have better FPS when looking directly at the ground is because there’s nothing on screen to render, it will be the same if you face a wall.

It has nothing to do with DoF.

It has everything to do with DoF. I might have got the terminology wrong but wouldn’t there be less things to render if GW2 had a system such as Minecraft where you can adjust the slider to have a fog effect so your computer doesn’t need to render the mountains and props far away and thus have more FPS?

that would be LOD. You can turn that off.

Everything for GW2 is streamed from disk. So having it on a SSD, your loading times will be a little faster and texture streaming will be improved as well. You will not gain a single FPS by having this on a SSD though.

High end gear was never meant to be obtainable overnight and should require some effort to get. Some people just need to deal with that.

ANet has disabled that feature for the time being. There is no info on an ETA as to when it will be re-enabled.

Overclocking you’re CPU may help a little.

Both of them are at Moorwatch Tower. I try to talk to the char next to the catapult and it keeps saying this content is disabled. Any info on when this will be fixed? These are the only 2 I have left to complete on this map.

Technically you were never on a German server to begin with, only in name.. The data center that ANet has for this game is located in Austin Texas. Weather you are located in the US or Europe, you will be connecting to that data center.

Since this game uses the Havok Engine, physics will be calculated off the CPU.

That’s incorrect. Both API’s are identical in functionality. The only difference they have from one another is the Havok Engine uses the CPU for its calcualtions and Nvidia Physx used Cuda from their video cards.

I can understand upgrades for WvW taking a while to complete, but 1 week to complete an upgrade for the Guild Bank is a bit much. I really hope ANet considers decreasing the build time at some point.

On the other hand – us discussing botting here won’t really change anything. There is already a ‘report’ button on your Mail tab, use that instead. Though I am frustrated with the fact that I get a ton of mail daily and it’s ALL spam with gold sells. That really sucks, I always hope it’s a lost friend from the past or smth.

A 32bit OS can use almost 4GB of RAM. A 64-bit system can use more RAM than is possible to put in a PC. It isn’t doubled it’s exponential.

I know know the difference between a 32bit OS and a 64bit OS. What i’m referring to is the difference between a 32bit .exe and 64bit .exe. A 64bit .exe does not have the capabilities that a 64bit OS does, it’s still limited to 4GB of system ram.

As another poster said, you can use a 4GB patcher, but what’s the point. The game will use no more system RAM than is required to function properly.
