Out of all the races, it seems to me that Sylvari had the most pleasant demeanor minus the baddies.

Asura were and will always be arrogant. Seems they lack conscience. Charr are war mongers. Humans were common and predictable. None of my characters are Norn coz I never really cared about oversized humans that drink a lot.

The overall skill pool in my games was pretty low compared to what it had been before.; I had a necro on my team pop lich to kill a beast on forest. I soloed a zerker guardian and a thief at the same time as a mesmer. I won one game 500 to sub 100.

I saw a ton of new games. Usually is I see approximately the same people match after match. That still happened but not to the extent is has been in the past.

I see one of two explanations.

A) The system tries so hard to avoid solo versus teams that the skill disparity is too high between two groups of pugs.

B) A lot of people are taking a break (if you don’t enjoy the game or want reward tracks this is possible + even I took time out to do the PvE content). Either the population is lower than usual overall or the population at whatever my MMR is low.

If the necro popped lich at the beginning of the match instead of capping, shame on him. If he used it to get an urgent advantage in the tail-end of a very close match, shame on you for not looking at the situation.

Not sure how this happened. All I did was go in and out of deathshroud and poof, I could no longer see my character. I think other players could see me and I’m only invisible on my screen. This isn’t game changing but I’d like to let you guys know.

BTW, I love SAB – hope it returns.

Archaon – It’s irrelevant if TCG is the strongest/not strongest in EU. Despite having an outdated comp, they did very well. You can’t admit that RIP had amazing coordination and strategy but at the same time you harshly criticize TCG.

Both teams have tremendous talent.

The issue with report and block is that these guys seek out our players and call in their mates to start as well. They also do the surrounding and jumping around us when they know they have been blocked. There have been specific personal threats and this has gone on since June. Go ahead and whoop their behinds if that what you wanted to do. I dont understand the hesitation. PVP promotes that. If they go out of their way to pursue you, just welcome the challenge and fight them. People talk a lot of smack but you guys should never take it to heart. After the fight, regardless of who wins, just pm them and say it was fun and you look forward to another fight in the future. You show dominance by responding maturely and kindly because it’s not what they expect.

My female Charr is the goofiest yet most endearing character in my account.

You seem quite mentally and emotionally disturbed by Charrs. I’m sorry that you are permanently traumatized by them. On the other hand, I’m not as big of a fan of masculine, testosterone-filled, cross-dressing females as you are. Those are frightening!

In a game that promotes vanity, it’s disappointing that Char and Asura females were left out of this design.

I dont think this game is a money grab. Compared to most game developers, Anet is one of the least aggressive with monetization.

Mobile gaming developers are the most notorious.

This game doesn’t cost us any monthly fees nor does it promote sleazy pay to play schemes. Yet it delivers one of the best PVP systems I’ve seen, WVW and new content.

Female Asura and Charr have the same style as the male’s. This broke my female Charr’s heart who happens to be a fashionista. You guys made dresses for the Winter’s outfit, why not for the new Noble Count?

The Reason: I as a player am not much for waving a stick at people to kill them. There is a certain amount of panic and confusion that comes with close combat that I’m more accustomed to and comfortable with that I can exploit to some degree.

Wells – they’re great and it’s often a good idea to have at least one:
One does cra cra damage, upto 2k per tick plus vulnerability
Another blinds
And one does both damage and boon stripping

I run a bursty build using a/w and d/f. Dagger 1 has one of the highest auto attack damage in game. It’s a good offhand if you’re running a condi build but according to your set-up, Im not sure if that’s what you’re after.

Good coz I voted for you. And I asked the members of the local senior citizen bingo chapter to vote for you in exchange for giving them foot massages. And if you need a punching bag to practice on, I have an alt account full of male norns with the most annoying builds in the game.

I’m new at playing pvp guardian so excuse my ho-hum banal questions.

Guessing the sparring guard is a DPS build but he seems somewhat tanky as well. He hits like a truck. He sometimes downs my DPS professions but can’t scratch my condi warrior. Guards’ DPS and tankiness is disproportional from what I’ve been experimenting so far.

It’s been a while since I did that. I might be wrong about this but I think it only worked with one minion because the other one needs to have an enemy targeted. I never said it was illegitimate and I agree any amount is better than 0 like you said.

By freecasting Minions prematch and switching back to normal utilities you start out with a whole lot more then 0 LF.

I remember it was something like 10% base LF from necrotic traversal upto 12% depending on points in soul reaping. I stopped bothering with it after getting stuck with the minion a few times.

This wont help anyone in pvp but we also get LF after viewing vistas

My main is a power necro and find this misleading. We start out with 0 LF and have to survive our initial encounters without DS or stability while being glassy. The “guaranteed” 4-5K lb crit is untrue. LB has a long cast time and it could easily be dodged or interrupted aside from the fact that it does not reliably land on opponents. Also, enduring through lots of damage on DS will use up our LF and could no longer make the guaranteed 4-5k crit you mentioned. But you main an engie (or was it thief) so I understand your resentment towards the counter class.

Dire vs Carrion

PVP – Carrion. Dire amulet is not available
WVW – Toss up. Dire for smaller groups or if you feel you need more sustain.
PVE – Carrion. Would rather deal more damage than be the tanky non support type

What we have here is indirect boasting disguised with false modesty on top of making a suggestion that would harm our pursuits.

Why bring a necromancer to a dungeon?

Because some people chose to play this game on their leisurely time and if they extract the most enjoyment playing the necromancer (and their party is ok with it), they do it.

Necros are not that bad but sure there are better classes. I don’t doubt the comment about them delivering one of the best single target damage.

You know that’s a good question and based on what I’ve gathered so far, the OP mains an engie. I’m guessing that his intent was to alarm the devs and have them immediately nerf his main’s counter class so that the game will be easier for him.

Yes stomping is important in a 1v1 situation and even more so against a downed ranger. I’m by no means a necro pro goddess but the way to do the shroud stomp is to simultaneously stomp and F1 or whatever you assigned for ds activation. I did that in this 20sec video – http://youtu.be/m5ye_K_Jo2w

I did not have fitg.

I transmuted a couple of my legendary gear to lower white item stats so that they could be account bound. But I cannot (or do not know how to) transmute them to the original legendary stats. I had 6 transmuting splitters that I converted into the new transmute charges.

I still cannot find a way to select stats on transmuted legendaries.

Has anyone figured this out? Thanks

Sitting at 128 members. Tried to invite someone today and it is saying that I have reached maximum membership status. I go to buy a bigger membership from the registrar and it says the guild is not big enough for the next step of upgrades. Help!

I see quite a few people asking in game and are always directed to check the forums to see which server they should guest on for this vendor. So if Anet will allow it, I would like to make a thread that lets people come in each day and post when their server has it opened so the rest of the gw2 player base can guest there if they need to purchase something.

I move my twilight around from toon to toon via transmuting it onto a low level white sword making it account bound. Put it on the toon you want and transmute it back to whatever exotic you wish. Do not do this if you want it to show as purple when you link it to people. I could care less about that as I really made it for the skin design and wish to use it as I please.
