Hi, I’m on DB and I’ve roamed solo quite a bit this week.

I even saw both Yak’s and some Mag’s run away from me in 1v1 and even 2v1 situations.

Saw more than a few run or try to kite me back toward zergs.

Saw almost every one I fought near a tower at least attempt to run into said tower when their health got low.

Somehow, I’ve managed to not project this behavior to the entirety of both servers. Somehow, I’ve also managed to not even project this behavior as necessarily awful. It’s just people trying to not die in a video game; I guess I don’t necessarily want or need folks to just stand there while I shoot them to keep my ego happy.

Your restraint leads to boring threads with no entertainment for people at work. Please project more in the future.

I’ll take any T2 server over Dragonbrand next week. At least FA and TC aren’t complete garbage and have a roaming population that’s larger than 0 people. The only saving grace DB has is [NS]. Other than that it’s a bunch of terrible zerglings that run when the fight is 5v10 and chase 50v5 for 10 minutes straight.

He has a point. As a roamer, I haven’t ran into anyone from DB thats interested in fighting without a zerg. When a DB is running to their zerg they just keep running away.

He, like myself, are just disappointed that your server doesn’t have a roaming population.

I hate running with a zerg but this week has been only zerg blobs trading our keeps and towers.

Nothing else is worth the time.

Maybe you should just set up a fight club if you want 1v1’s. Don’t be surprised if people aren’t solo roaming against Dragonbrand. Even our roamer guilds travel 2-3 strong when we face t2 servers that consider 10 mans a camp group.

If you want 1v1’s you’ll get dorp’s all day unless we have something else planned. A lot of us have multiple professions because mesmers and thieves don’t scale when you want to 20v40 keeps.

CL who has either transferred or became inactive (we certainly didn’t see much of them last time we faced) for a long time picked a map and full queued it on their raid days. Yaks and DB both full queuing our map was some of the most fun we had when we were stuck in that match.

That’s interesting, because almost universally the organized mag guilds think TC is much better than FA. Maybe the few GvG’s we can get this week (only one reply from an FA guild at all so far) will change minds. Then again, most of us got over farming randoms about 6 months ago as something to be impressed about.

If we are comparing randoms, I still say TC is better, because FA has the largest love affair with siege creeping/siege hugging that I’ve ever seen from a server. I guess BT was the only guild that was willing to just fight. It’s a shame they’re gone.

You would think the “megazergs” running around would prompt DURP/PYRO to post about farming delicious FA bags, but I’ve yet to see either guild in force in game or in these forums.

This match is hard to get excited about. I don’t think dorp has done a raid so far, and probably won’t until the week starts.

There’s been a lot of siege fighting which is pretty boring, and finding roamers is really difficult.

I know some mag guilds would like to do gvg’s if any fa/kn are interested.

Cant let you get away with that Pinko, Mag have been zerg camping the Jp on/off all week. Just a few hours ago there was 15-20 Mag camping it against one or two. So please dont complain when you finally get zerged back, also to point out it was not only mag but [DERP] doing the camping. So I’m guessing you are well aware numbers are everything, hence why you guys are friendly in a small grp but unfriendly when you know numbers are on your side :P

If that can be executed on paper it would be brilliant but I just don’t see a frontline being able to have a mind of their own without the primary commander leading them from within.

It isn’t that, or at least JUST that, it’s that a commander is guiding movement for the whole zerg, who would the zerg follow if they were a backline? It’s also important for a commander to have eyes on the front line to see and plot the course of the fight.

Even in PVE raiding, 9/10 the raid leader is a melee, usually the tank. I’ve tried leading raids as ranged dps or healers before, doesn’t work as well. Different perspective.
