Are you seriously thinking your T3 server has uber skillz that can’t be matched by people on a T1 server?

Let me break this down logically for you since your hipster attitude can’t seem to grasp how this pans out.

Most people on the T1 servers originated on the ‘lesser tiers.’ Therefore they do have the experience and skills needed to fight you open field or in smaller groups. Thing is, once they come here they join guilds who teach them how to play in larger group settings since our opponents fight us in the same manner. This means mesmers running feedback/veil instead of decoy/blink/etc. Staff eles for combo fields instead of d/d or s/d with PPT/PVT instead of full cleric’s/valkyrie/etc. The list goes on. Don’t get too kitteny when you run over that upleveled necro who’s in WvW to level up since he knows it will be a boring week.

Well, as lord of JQ, you surely are the one in the know that there are no roamers. Thanks for letting us plebs know, m’lord.

For the JQ ashamed of their server that actually want to fight, you should consider transferring to a t3 server far away from t1. Consider SoS, CD, Yaks.

Used to play against you guys before I joined JQ, you can all fight well, you just need to persevere! (And use lots AC’s)

The difference between us and tier 2, the MAJOR difference and why we are NOT tier 2, is that we have no SEA population (just insomniac college students and a few Aussies). If we can get 20 ppl together on a map when Bony is not on during Oceanic times, we’re succeeding.

The definition of success is determined by individuals’ goals and circumstances.

You may not be able to beat us this week, but you awesome people can all log on and hold the line, and it’s still likely that you’ll all end up with some evolution points to increase your rankings for your efforts. (and some lootbags too. :P)

Yeah I felt bad when I heard Agg was in Mag, cause none of the major guild were really running at the time, so there was noone to come play. [VR] is another great Mag guild you’d usually see around, but their leader is current in prison awaiting release. Maybe if we meet again he’ll be around.

Something is wrong with a game, when a keep is upgraded to the MAX, and 20 or so players can take it away in less than 5 minutes. I mean really! You have more guards (and they are supposed to be buffed), fortification of doors, walls, etc. It needs to be harder to take down a fortified keep. Less than 5 minutes, come on Anet. I remember when I played Aion it took at least 1/2 hr to take a fort and that was fighting two different factions. Oh and when another faction came to your land, we had buffs, making it harder for them to kill us or our guards.

You want WvW to be even slower and more siege based? What.

Where on earth do you get from that message that WvW is slow. It is fast paced and if you guys don’t want to wait for 1/2 then you need to be more patient. Go do something else within that 1/2, like spend time with the wife and kids, or take a quick walk, or do a few situps. Whatever floats your boat.

You want upgraded stuff to take a lot longer, so that means more siege, which is the worst part of WvW.

So you can kill a solo afk uplevel who gets res off guards and then you repeat to kill him while hes still afk.

If only the uplevels had a way to teleport away from him. That’s when you know skill is involved.

I’m a bit curious about Maguma’s stratagy. You guys seem to push us(SOS) hard starting at around 8AM every morning normaly hiting hard and fast just fliping our keeps then moving on and doing the same in YB. However I’ve noticed you seem to drain EB to do this as you tend loose nearly everything you own there till you finish with our borderlands. Just seems a strange choice as I dont see many servers that sacrifice EB to hit the enemy BL’s, heck I dont think we could drag all the pugs out of EB to try that if we wanted to.

EB isn’t worth the manpower. We drain all of EB and get two full BL’s in return. We regularly don’t understand why SoS puts 100% in EB and gives us completely free keeps on SoS BL, so to each their own.

Also, EB just sucks in general to fight in. It’s a maze of carts, trebs, and hiding in towers, so guild groups don’t often go there. When someone wants something on a borderland, they’re forced to put themselves out there which means a fight.

Exactly. There were no DORPs running a 40 man, we didn’t even have 20 people repping last night. What you saw and got owned by was N.W.A. (Necroz Wit Attitudes).

No it was D/ERP. They kept hiding their zerg inside the buildings in the Ogre camp waiting for us to come out.

I don’t know how else to explain that we didn’t raid at all last night. Maybe 10 dorp were just casually running together, and the rest probably just roaming and following other groups. I think you are a lil’ paranoid if you think you saw 40 dorps around a corner.

I was on until around 11:30pm eastern and Mag was second place at least up until then. We covered 2 borderlands and couldn’t find a zerg bigger than 10. We were looking forward to some good fights and it seemed like you guys took the night off. So if you took the lead PPT what time was this so we know when we can play?

Mag has really, really low pop for weekends. I guess you haven’t faced us often, but we really only have massive activity on weekdays. Log on NA prime mon-thurs and we’ll have fun~

It’s been 17 weeks since YB’s last match against SoS. Back then we (YB) faced a demoralised SoS. Based on SoS’s performance since then, I expect we will be seeing a very different opponent to the one we faced back in March & April. Also, this time around we don’t have Dragonbrand restricting SoS’s Oceanic impact.

Our Ocenaic crew resisted DB pretty well the last week with just them and Mag, as much as that can be done, so should be interesting.

SoS also finished ahead of Mag last pairing, but that was with TC involved, punishing Mags NA.

That’s what Maguuma thinks.

I can assure you everyone on Maguuma expects to lose Oceanic to almost any server!

I’m still impressed that you guys are able to live against some of the groups that hit you, even with a queue, but it’s getting stale.

Regardless, holding SW tower with a queued zerg/siege vs 25 [PYRO] and 25 [DERP] isn’t really anything to be all that proud of.

I have zero clue where you got the idea we were talking “kitten” to anyone. I give you guys credit for some fun fights, and some scary moments. Your forces caught us badly off balance at YB garrison. The funny thing is our commander runs tag off. He only tags up to check supply. Gotta tell you guys this “siege” talk is getting rather “stale”.
We had one, ONE, normal AC in SW tower that a militia threw up. Our commander was talking with one of your guys and supposedly there was to be no siege for that engagement, however, we had one AC and you had several siege creeping us.
Funny thing is mags bl had no queue all night from CD side. So this “OMG they have a map zerg!!” is ridiculous. We had 23 EK, some RIP, some LoM. a Kome or two, and some other 1s and 2s from other guilds(sorry I don’t remember your tags). At no point were our numbers enough to queue your bl, which is why we map hopped so much. The only places we ran into a queue were CDbl and EBG.

I like EK overall, and like I said before, I don’t think EK deliberately tries to get a huge pubbie following, just that there’s not much organization on CD NA (not the server’s issue, a lot transferred off) so EK is a light for moths.

To be clear, some posts have bled together in the thread: on MagBL SW camp was when the 25v50 thing came up. We did get counts with tags for that, and did poke into the 50 man sieged camp out of boredom a lot. It’s probably the randoms following you that were talking trash about that.

Later in the night we definitely had a queue on CD BL, but I like to think no one is bragging about those fights. EK is always fun to fight, and we’re looking forward to running into you guys more.

Well we’re working our egos up to it. What I’ve learned in these threads, anyone who beats you is good, but anyone you can beat is garbage, whether single person or guild level. A position which is pretty much the height of narcissism.
