getting enough charges for transmutations is relatively easy as long as you don’t change your looks too often.

It’s unfortunate that while not in PvP or WvW, my favorite passtime is actually just sitting around and playing with new looks. I LOVE changing my look, I just wish I could do it more often. :<

If people are really against this idea, what about a system where the transmutation goes over an individual character’s armor SLOT rather than the piece itself? This way you could customize different classes that share ascended armor without ruining the other’s theme every time you transfer your items. ALSO this could alleviate the racial armor limitation, my Asura Engineer likes Asura cultural armor… My sylvari druid does not.

I think it would also be cool if they would let you get cash shop items like glider skins and such with them, you can acquire them with normal gameplay. I understand the amount needed should be very high at that point, say 50+ for a gem store item. I just hate having to slam my face on content I don’t want to do at the moment just to switch the skin on one piece of gear that I have had unlocked for 3 years… :<

I have all the Job-o-Tron things! Back piece! Mini! Gathering tools! Character armor customization! I paid for the back piece gimme my corresponding glider like all the wing back pieces get!

That’s what I would like, swap unlocked skins at any time. I think it could be a really good profitable system.

I don’t know about everyone, but I play GW2 a bit different than some. This game to me is Fashion Wars 2. I love every aspect of tweaking appearances and dyes for that perfect look. With this said I believe the system could be made far more enjoyable if item appearances could be swapped at any time, and transmutation charges used to buy new looks rather than switch to ones already unlocked.

Transmutation charges could be used to unlock in game armor skins, rare skins, maybe even gem store appearances. The amount needed for expensive items would obviously be very high but it would make poor college students and other non-money-endowed individuals far more dapper and beautiful. I believe a system like this could really encourage people to get as many cosmetic options as possible and in the end possibly even increase transmutation charge sales!

Wow… That is so bad. I understand now why Rangers say anet hates them.

In combat, off cooldown, no overlapping fields, not a kitten (maybe a little). Still no stealth and still no blast finisher. Please fix this. :<

It doesn’t seem like enough people care or even know it’s a thing. Probably won’t be improved upon any time soon.

It would be great! Less holding left or right click to move my camera, more quickly responding to whats really important in a fight! That back-peddling kills it though.

So I can left click and turn my camera and cast wells behind me while running full speed with action camera off. Why can’t I press S and run backwards with action camera without back-peddling (once I use a skill)? I understand if I used something like Gravedigger or my staff 1 but ground targeted AoEs shouldn’t trigger the back-peddling.

I want action camera so bad! It just feels a bit less tactical for PvP/WvW. Any other ideas or is this just a repeat thread? I did a search and didn’t find anything.

Starting off a quick note, I haven’t researched this much and it may have been suggested, or Anet’s idea to begin with but…

My idea for legendary armor is simple, make it a continuation of the elite spec armor. Say for example the scrapper helmet, you get that which starts a collection, much like the Mistward armor. Once you start this collection, you would collect trophies from raids or fractals or whatever to get each piece. In the end you would collect all the pieces to get the legendary version of the initial piece, much like the mistward helmet.

I think this is a simple enough idea, I may have been a bit vague but that’s my idea, what do you guys think?

So I have been testing Litany of Wrath with a full Meditation DH build, and it seems rather powerful. Litany of Wrath benefits from the meditation bonuses as well as casts Smite Condition when used. I gain about 6-7k healing with a shorter cooldown and faster cast than Shelter, although I do lose the block. On top of that I remove a condition and gain fury for both meditations, 9 seconds total.

Any input is appreciated, I like the heal but if anyone has more experience with the class and has advice I would be grateful.

Yeah they definetly look much worse and I have no idea why they changed it.

They just took out some of the extra shiny animations that you’d see on high graphics.

Seriously though, the idea is to make the skills and such less “noisy” so that it’s easier to follow in spectator mode for PvP.

PvP really should be removed.

SD was always my favorite build too… With the option of SD Scrapper with lightning everywhere and a massive wrench mace swinging back and forth, they need to fix this… LIKE RIGHT kittenING MEOW!

You’d have to be running some sort of quickness. Maybe throw in Bull’s Charge. I’m experimenting with this now, though I kind of doubt it’s going to be meta.

Meh imo the meta is there to learn from, perhaps take ideas from. But in the end the best build is the one that suits you, and as a warrior GS/H suits me. I just really hope someone can drop the wisdoms on me. xD

I really enjoy the active, fast pace of GS/H, with all the weapon swapping and leaping/charging around. Is there a way to make this WvW classic into a viable SPvP build? If so could anyone share any builds or tips with a very very rusty warrior? (It’s been 2 years) Thanks!

Do you have suggestions for runes/sigils? Never tried conditions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Wrath of Justice is way better for a GS build. It basically cures GS of its greatest weakness by preventing the enemy from avoiding your damage.

You know the reason that Whirling Wrath is so good is because it can proc Justice like 9 times. If you activate it you ruin most of the DPS from WW anyways.

My Zealot’s Flame+Fire does about 11k burning plus 1500 physical base so yeah.

Also you get the Torch CDR and burning duration.

How does it hit that hard? Do you use a condi amulet?

What’s the reasoning behind the swap from Hair Trigger to Fortified Turrets? I’m kinda mixing your old build with another SD build I played with recently with amazing results. Very curious about that one change.

Thats my biggest complaint about engineers honestly… Legendaries are fun to have but having one on an engineer is like having one part time… >.>

Rocket launcher kit… (Little asura pulls out a massive rocket launcher and starts raining down sweet sweet death upon his unwary enemies!) 1500 range slow attacks large AoE with a spammable single target fire rocket for condition love! We vote rockets for president for 2013!!

You could simply swap the blades on the swords… Sunrise’s hilt with Twilight’s blade, vice versa. It wouldn’t be oh so impressive but it would be better than it is.

I play a hammer warrior 10/0/30/10/20 I run with PPT gear, Berserker jewelery, and Swiftness x2 and boon duration runes. Having swiftness and fury up 24/7 is awesome. The Control and mobility of this build combined with 3-5k crits almost every hit makes my hammer actually quite powerful. (Sword/shield secondary) added my build for clarification… haha

Has this problem been resolved? My GS shatter mesmer needs that 10% crit damage and missing out on 8% crit kinda sucks…

I posted info on how to get the event to continue even if the southern invasion bugs.

Pulling things DOES work. Try pulling a mob and once it enters combat with the pact have thieves and mesmers pull it towards where the champion is. Keep pulling mobs while you go and push/pull them towards more mobs. You want your legendary? Stop crying and do what I did to get mine!

The Solid Ocean one is a boss… I assume you fight it or another boss every 3. Im only at 4 myself as of now.

IF YOU NEED OBSIDIAN SHARDS
If one of the invasions stops moving, drag mobs, champions and anything you can to get them killed. If you wipe an invasion before one reaches the rally point, the event resets to the start. If you wipe the southern invasion after the northern invasion reaches the rally point it will move forward to the assault on the Temple of Orr! hope this helps!

The first invasion to rach the rally point is usually the Northern invasion. If the Southern bugs out you can escort the northern then get the southern to wipe by pulling mobs to it and the event will move FORWARD to the pact moving forward to assault the Balthazar Temple. From there its just keep them up and kill the priest and you win! hope this helps!

I FOUND AT LEAST A TEMPORARY SOLUTION! If one of the invasions stops moving, drag mobs, champions and anything you can to get them killed. If you kill the first invasion it resets to the start. If you kill the second invasion it will move forward to the assault on the Temple of Orr! I did this yesterday after the last event and got my sunrise! hope this helps!

I havent left the Straights of Devastation this weekend since im mindlessly hoping the Cathedral of Glorious Fail will become uncontested randomly (the event is broken). So i have not been to the new zone yet. Is there by chance an Obsidian Shard vendor there? it is a level 80 zone after all…

If only Miyani sold them instead… Too logical nvm sorry…
