Well yeah, sometimes you’ll get the dungeon-themed item, most of the times the bag, and extremely rarely the recipe.

Actually I’m not 100% sure the tonic replaces the wondrous goods. But remember those tonics you get in AC? they’d be the same. do those replace the wondrous goods?

My first message in this thread listed all three bags of wondrous goods obtainable from SE path 2.

This is exactly the reason why the recipe hasn’t been found – everyone skips the last chest.

Bag of Wondrous Goods in SE path 2:

1. Foreman Kreutzerova, located just before the room with the 4 boss foremen, after you get passed the first door.

2. The Taskmaster (big golem with rock shield)

3. The chest which appears after you destroy the door with the tank, at the place where you have to gather the sparkly rocks. This is the one that most people never get, cause it’s way back at the start of that room, near the stairs doing down to the room.

That’s not an educated guess, that’s just a guess with no data to back it up.

I’ve never seen a dungeon drop more than 3 bags of wondrous goods, and I have listed all 3 bags from SE path 2.

The last bag is in the room with tank.

Shukov doesn’t drop loot, as he’s friendly. the golems don’t drop wondrous goods, no chance of them dropping it.

Last night I full cleared SE path 2 with some friends and explored every crevace of the level. I did find some monster spawn I hadn’t seen, but they didn’t drop loot.

I’m still 99.999% sure it drops from the lone chest after the tank destroys the door.

Mark 1 and Mark 2 don’t drop bags of wondrous goods. As suggested above, the recipe replaces the bag of wondrous goods. Just as you get these “unique dungeon items” instead of the bag sometimes. Again, I’m 99.999% sure it drops from the chest after you break the door. It’s a skipped chest in an unpopular path of an unpopular dungeon.

Looks like 90% chance of bag, 9% chance of “green” quality dungeon unique, 0.99999% chance of the “rare” quality dungeon unique, and 0.00001% chance at the recipe!

Don’t get terms mixed up, the “party leader” is an elected player who will lead the party in the dungeon.

The “instance owner” is the person who first entered the dungeon, they become the instance owner. This has nothing to do with who leads the party.

If the instance owner leave party or changes toon, the instance is “closed”.

Again, the party leader is simply a role assigned to someone who’ll lead the party.

What you’re looking for is the instance owner.

To avoid this in the future, make trusted players the instance owner.

Hello Azriel. I too have been looking for this recipe, here is the data I gathered, my educated guesses and theories.

We know that dungeon recipes replace the “bag of wondrous goods”

In SE path 2, there are 3 bags of wondrous goods

1. the first “general” mob, right before you kill the 4 bosses
2. the taskmaster
3. the chest that appears after the tank breaks the door.

The last boss of SE path 2 is called Shukov, so we can safely assume that this recipe is available on that path.

I highly suspect that recipe to drop from the chest that appears after you break the door with the tank, as this chest appears way out of the way, and I’m willing to bet most people don’t even know it appears.

That could be the reason it hasn’t been found, because most people don’t loot that chest.

So compound all these factors: SE is not popular, SE path 2 is very not popular, and that chest is most often times forgotten altogether.

I’m pretty kitten sure it drops from that chest. Also remember magic find doesn’t affect chest loot.

There’s been several reports of players being given a full refund for the game and the gems they purchased as a result of being banned for the snowflake exploit.

Is everyone banned from this eligible for a refund or only certain people?

As far as I know, the dungeon recipes replace the “bag of wondrous goods” in loot, and in SE path 2, the 2 golems at the end don’t drop the bag.

The last bag you get in SE path 2 is from the chest that spawns after the “rock gathering event”.

I know. But Arenanet realised they needed to add vertical progression and gated content to keep the more hardcore players interested.

Agony is a way to “gate content” for you to grind “vertical progression” of gear to pass the “gated content”.

Yeah you can’t tank that room without a lot of heavies in your team.

No but there’s been a massive nerf to salvaging CoF gear. Good luck getting ectos.

Ascended items are not craftable by any profession.

Exotics are max stats craftable. You can’t craft ascended. (MF.. but w/e)

What I listed is the best you can craft.

Boa Cinderella.1298, the “Royal Signet of Doric” has “Soldier” type stats

Those stat combination are not craftable, as per http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Item_nomenclature#Triple_attribute

Luckily for you, Soldier stats are now available thru dungeon-dropped craftable recipes!!

Bloodstone Fragment and Nightmare Coil are on the sale on the TP. Shukov’s launch codes, however, is not. That is because that recipe has not been found.

If you want to farm for it, I highly suspect it drops from SE path 2, as the last boss is Shukov

Just because you don’t know it exists doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Do some research before claiming such things.

The spider boss in TA seems somewhat stronger since the patch. Still and easy boss. I noticed it last time I did TA she seemed quicker in her attacks and just slightly more damaging. I could be mistaken but I’ve run TA a lot and it just seems that way to me.

You need 5 of those to make an exotic ring, just like exquisite jewels.

However, you need 15 passion flowers to make the exquisite passion flower

As far as I know, passion flowers are even rarer than “orb” type gems.

Following the whole snowflake fiasco where the necessary amount of snowflakes was too little and you raised it, isn’t it time to look at the passion flower recipes and reduce them?

I think 1 passion flower for an exquisite passion flower is fair, as even the flower is around 60s, which is 10 times higher than orb type gems.

Unless, for some crazy reason, you meant apothecary gear to be the most expensive armor in the entire game!?

A full apothecary set costs as much as some legendaries, fks!! (for kitten’s sake)

Write down/screenshot/monitor the achievements page under Slayer, kill a couple mobs in a dungeon and compare!

I’ve been doing CM heavily in the past days, if I have one trick to tell you is bring 2 guardians, minimum.

Pretty must 95% of the mobs you find in CM are ranged mobs, guardians have 2-3 skills that become invaluable in this dungeon:

Wall of reflection is incredibly awesome because mobs will just kill themselves as they shoot you. Just using these two skills, we could get passed most areas without getting seriously hit.

I agree, however, that the mobs are very strong. I’d say it’s not that pleasant a dungeon compared to many.

I can’t begin to imagine how you felt, getting the bug there.

I’ve fought simin, and just getting thru her is like feeling “I’ve finally finished this kitten dungeon”, but no, you gotta redo it all over again.

Kitten Arah path 4, it’s so unbalanced and bugged and horrible.

Sigil of Battle is not craftable.
