I’m gonna have to agree with you on that. In most other mmorpg’s, hardcore raids usually put a lot of personal responsibility on everyone participating; where a few mistakes can mean wipe and restarting the entire instance.

This can’t work in non-instanced maps where it’s impossible to coordinate every single person present

This thread looks like it has derailed a lot, but the reason why precursors are so expensive is because a few people are manipulating the market.

It’s no secret that many people have thousands and thousands over thousands of gold.

They see a precursor on the TP? Buy right away and hoard. They’re controlling the supply and set the price they want.

They’re doing it right. Arenanet is holding off so that the people with money will buy the extractors now and not wait until something is done, so they can make their money.

They said the same thing about level 1 fractals, and there’s still a lot of level 1 groups

I tested if you could keep the stacks when using a Sigil of Bloodlust of lesser quality on the underwater weapon, and the stack goes away. Therefore you need the same quality on your underwater weapon.

I’ve been testing with Bloodlust on off hand and there’s nothing unusual to report… everything works fine.

Sigil of Bloodlust should proc no matter where it’s socketed, as long as the enemy that dies was tagged by you…

I’ve repeated hobby dungeon explorer 113 times and I can tell you that most expert parties are better off without a necro, ranger or engie.

Right at Accountancy waypoint there were about 50 people.

I grouped with a buddy who was also in Rata Sum, and he appeared in another instance. I was able to right click his name and “join in rata sum” even though the map was not an overflow (ie. no overflow popup/message over minimap)

We asked around and people were from all various servers.

Again, no overflow popup or message on the minimap. We all figured it was the megaserver

If you had zerker gear, you wanted top dps.

Zerker remains top dps.

Therefore you get nothing.

No the mega server was also active in Rata Sum.

Felt weird to see Rata Sum so packed!!

Hi Eowin. I’m not affected by this but being a french speaker in America, I can understand your point of view 100%, and I think your complaint is fully justified.

Even fractal 50 isn’t exactly challenging.

What’s the challenge? Mobs have 10 times the hp and hit 10 times as much.

Sadly, the only challenge left in GW2 is pitting your skills against other players.

Guys, these people were not repeating the event, over and over.

When the NPC’s at some events are dead, it causes infinite spawn of enemies. These people were just farming infinite spawn of enemies from the “badly designed” event.

According to arenanet, farming such events is considered exploiting, because you’re exploiting a flaw in the event’s design.

Hint: There are other events that act like this. Just make sure to complete the event and you’re in the clear.

That’s so awful. You give 400 gems to some people, and everyone else is left to rot in the dust?

I keep an excel sheet with dungeon paths, world bossse, achievement tracking, etc.

Just check the box when you do it, and erase them at reset. Works fine.

I just wish we could use pristine relics to obtain these!

I still get either nothing, or sometimes uninfused rings doing fractal 50.

did a level 50 dredge last night. took us about 20 minutes to get past the switch/door part. then of course we wiped about 5 times at the clown car. none of it was entertaining.

Guards have Staff, Save Yourselves and Retreat which gives swiftness. That should be enough to get you anywhere, fast.

I agree that it’d be nice to have a signet, but we’re not exactly “swiftness starved” like mesmers are. Those guys have the short end of the stick.

Well no, there’s no fun about it. After 30 minutes of trying to survive more than 30 seconds inside the cage, I rage quitted. I agologized cause I opened the fractal, but no way am I doing dredge again since this horrible update.

I also hunted for shukov’s launch codes last year, I made a lot of research and documented it on this post (and followup posts, with lots of info)

My theory is that they put the shukov’s launch code on shukov himself, but you don’t actually kill shukov, you kill his golems, so you never get the chance at the loot.

Take a screenshot of the party member names clearly showing when you start the fractal. Report the issue with screenshot when it happens.

I’m tempted to stop doing fractals altogether. Dredge is the worse.

For trinkets, don’t use laurels.

You can get an ascended trinket for 12 guild commendations + 5 gold.

Every week, you can do 4 guild missions that reward 6 commendations in total. Takes about 60-90 minutes.

So in 1 month, of about 4-6 hours of play, you’ll have your two ascended trinkets!

Save your laurels for the Amulet, it’s the only way to get it. 20 laurels + 250 badges of honor.

Yeah I also really like how they changed it. Looks cleaner and more compact.
