Am i the only P/D thief running without Signet of Shadows?

Shocking Aura was always 4 seconds, but was affected by Boon Duration (and had an incorrect tooltip). What we would usually see is that the aura lasted so long is because elementalists had put points into Arcana. On the other hand, it’s no longer able to be ripped off by boon removal abilities.

Looking at my fraps of my recordings since i ran a build with 10 arcana, Shocking Aura is lasting 4.4 seconds so what you say is true.

Any fix on the Magnetic Grasp Leap Finisher fix anytime soon?

I feel a lot of fights should be like alpha, if you stay in melee you don;t have to worry about dragon tooth, if you stay at you range you have to worry about it but you get more time to dodge stuff.

What the OP clearly want is a group that does not skip mobs. Simple as that.

I never said it was wrong to kill them all, i just said its not exploiting or doing the dungeon not as intended by skipping them. Maybe if the mobs were worth the time to kill them more people would do it.

Example before the patch i would skip kholer, now i kill it everytime. In AC i skip all the mobs except the golden ones because they drop money.

In Fractals i kill every mob for a chance of getting a vial or exotics, also they dont take half as long as other dungeon mobs.

Add loot that is worth the time and people will kill them.

Edit: Dungeon creators add thrash mobs to make the dungeon take longer (hence also the increase health pool).

I did say that I play a touchpad, but not that I’m actually bad at playing. I can turn the camera just fine (probably better than most, since I can do complete 180’s with just a flick of a finger compared to all of that… clumsy mouse moving when you reach the edge of the mousepad)

If you ever reach the edge of the mousepad, you need to crank up your mouse sensitivity. You should be able to turn the camera 360 degrees in less than an inch with DPI set properly.

Definitely get a mouse. Preferably with a dozen or so extra buttons so that you never have to take your fingers off your movement, voice bind and dodge key while fighting.

Get a Razer Naga, you won’t regret it. If at any point in sPvP you have to take your hands of your mouse and WASD to use something then it can be improved.

Here’s a freebie that I found two minutes ago and I’m too tired tonight to exploit. On the trading post, filter for green items and search for “Bloodlust”. You’ll find items, some selling for less than half of their value. You have to figure out how to unlock the value.

The best was Exotic Bloodlust weapons after the karka event.

Atm its being driven by investors feeding off other investors. I highly doubt it will be used in recepies during wintersday as much as ppl think then it will crash.

It will keep rising atm for sure. It will crash when the person with most of the chocolate sells it or when people see that it isnt really needed for recepies.

Just look up ghost peppers right before the halloween patch and look at the spike and crash.

You said it better then I could have. I was just coming back here to say how disheartened I was, that not a single person in the thread would not use the exploits. You just made my night better.

I run FOTM because I like the challenge, people who cant handle it should be culled from the progressing pack, not allowed to carry on because they found a way that completely mitigates the fight/progression.

I mainly started this thread because the group I found myself in acted like I was an idiot for running in and playing the level like it was meant, leading to a threat of being kicked if I didn’t do exactly as I was told. I hadn’t realized the glitches/bugs/exploits were so well known that its expected. Its sickening, I’d rather they reset FOTM levels, shut it down until things are fixed, then allow it to continue as it is.

The only “Challenge” in FoTM is trying to get rings for everyone in your group. If you really think FoTM is hard or any dungeon is hard then you are not very good.

Well it seems like they already setup a 500k buy order wall in the 60c range…The market manipulation is getting pretty ridiculous. Unfortunately, it seems playing the tp is the only way to make decent money, since arena net seems to hate legit farmers as much as botters given all the dr, and nerfs to drop rates that have been happening. The price might spike again when wintersday is announced similar to what happened to pumpkins. Just be careful about selling at the right time, since chocolate will probably just be a part of cooking recipes. They will probably have something similar to candy corn for wintersday, so people aren’t completely screwed over by manipulators.

More than 7K. I knew someone was trying to mess with the bars (again) to get them higher. When i saw someone buy a lot of choco and set up a few buy orders a bit below the new sell price my reasoning was that they were trying to set a new price range for the choco so that the average price would be higher, then in prob a week unload their new stock + their old stock (about 40K bars have “disappeared” in the past 2 weeks). I could have played a long and kept my choco and let the price rise but i decided to play it safe and take my profit. The price will keep rising until someone unload their stock or right before wintersday.

Personally this was my first attempt at playing with the TP to make money and ive never done it in another game but im pretty good with numbers and with access to Spidy i think i did pretty well for a 1 day investment.

Lol, then I was the one who bought your stock and you are correct. The only reason I didn’t post more was because I didn’t know how much you were sitting on and I didn’t want to potentially eat 150k at .85. Most people don’t sell directly into a wall like that. Had you not, we’d probably be looking at 1.5s right now The key to moving a price is keeping the spread traders out of of it.

Like i said im new to this but i guess i was correct to what you were doing, i just wanted to get out and atm im flipping other items as we speak.

It was 10,550 bars btw, sold the last 1K at 77c. The price will rise a bit more for sure until you sell (and other ppl) and it crashes.

I wager 19 out of 20 posters to this thread have never even looked at the formulas for performance in GW2, have never worked out where their stats come from. (hint: about 1/5 is your gear)

If you would know how stats affect you, you would see the gear makes up most of your character damage.

What gear was that Puandro? The Profane skins or the exotic armor? The exotic I’m trying to use it on was bought from the BLTP and I wasn’t aware it is a new type of armor, if that is the case.

Early 20’s. College student and 972 hours played since release and i hate this kitten. If you would had released everything as you did BUT did not increase the stats on the gear i would still do fractals like i do now, except i wouldn’t feel forced to RNG my way for the rings that i want for my alts for WvW. I quit Rift for GW2, as others have said no matter how small the difference is there and it will keep getting bigger the more pieces of ascended you add.

I bought the Profane Skin set from the gem store. At the time, I only had two pieces of exotic armor to apply them to and applied the rest to “green” armor to complete the look and assumed that I could later transmute the “greens” to exotics with fine transmutation stones. I buy 5 stones at the gem store and find that it will not transmute as the button remains grayed out. To date, support has been of absolutely NO help.

Yes you shouldnt have any problem transmutating them with level 80 stones, this is a bug it seems.

So there is a “Daily” for each factor then? You can get a daily chest for doing Factor1 (whatever scale you did), then you can get another one doing Factor2 (whatever scale), etc.., etc… each day (if you happen to have the time to do each of those factors each day).

(Side question: Since I haven’t event tried the FotM yet, can you just choose the even levels and then fight the Jade Maw after doing that level? Or do you have to choose a odd number one and then do both levels and then fight the Jade Maw?)

I totally agree with Asagi this is kittening BS. Add the rings for freaking tokens at least.

The best way to change it is that non players (AKA pets/NPCs) dont count toward the 5 target cap. If they cant do this, change it to 15 otherwise goodbye mesmers and minion necros.

Mesmers are nothing BUT TW bots and you’re gonna have to work kitten hard to convince me otherwise. I know that for sure, I play one.

Sword Auto Attack = rip boons.
Phantams bring perma regen
Signet on use = copy all buffs on themselves to everyone, and when you run a group that is providing buffs to everyone this a very strong ability.
Phantasmal defender = 50% damage reduction
Null Field is another great ability.

Tanky DPS is the best way to make everyone it allows everyone to take hits because if 1 person goes down you have to rez them and its a DPS loss to rezz. Also you can’t WP back into the fight in Fractals. If you make everyone be a bit tanky (Knight/Berserker mix) then they can stand in melee and all the buffs are shared with everyone. Also most classes to more damage with melee weapons. You also rarely have to dodge means more dps up time.

Yes it does. When you go to put the gem into the item and the confirmation box pops up it says right at the bottom in red letters that it will soulbind the item to you ask you if you want to continue.[/quote]

If its soulbinded to my character than why am i freely to move it between my characters and allow me to equip them, the item becomes account bount when you add the jewel which the pop up does not specify and its dumb that it even does this.
