Can IOJ have their guilds back?

Everyone is going to get 2v1ed at some point, that’s the nature of a 3 way contest.

Considering fa and tc history it’s no surprise both servers are going to be on the receiving end of a diuble team, kain isnt stupid and they play for the ppt.

Havent we grown out of whining about it by now?

Crazy week

Epic fights all around and huge swings in momentum.

FA, great respect for you guys, we are so closely matched now, rivalry aside, i really like the tone both sides have largely adopted this week.

May our rivalry burn, as it makes for good fights, but may we also be able to shake hands at reset and come kill each other again anew.

Play for the fights, the points only matter when the tier you are in isnt fun anymore.

Players may enjoy progression.

Characters?

Dont think they have a free will.

Would infinitely prefer that progression be ACCOUNT bound, being character bound is extremely limiting and penalizes players with alts.

If you feel the same way, please speak up.

Anet should just not post scores and ppts, keep scoring opaque and the math invisible while matching populations and coverages every week dynamically.

Im sure everyone will have more fun fighting on more even battlefields.

The way current server populations and coverages stand t3 is going to very lopsided, regardless of who is in the green slot they are likely to outnumber blue and red.

It is what it is.

Those in green realise it as do those in blue and red, perhaps trying to be goofy which came of well while being stomped doesnt wear as well while stomping.

Personally, I believe no disrespect was intended, it’s simply a case of what worked well before just doesnt apply now.

This is not an apology, as green is entitled to be goofy as they please as blue and red are equally entitled to represent the way they see fit.

I do appreciate ALL sides coming out to fight, as without each other we’ll all be pveing ourselves into a stupor.

I will bow and salute good fights and foes, hopefully I can earn your respect in turn.

May we fight hard on the field and it’s my preference to be civil here.

TC and a number of EU servers have reported this issue since the week before.

It would appear that the queue isnt really a queue, more akin to a wvw overflow of sorts.

Either way anet really needs to get on this as it would appear the problem of mismatched populations yet “queued” maps seems to haave spread.

Ideally with balanced server populations, and no technical issues.

A man can dream lol.

IMO, the larger issue with wvw is the scoring, people cannot get past the im winning/losing with the scores so prominent.

It MAY be interesting to consider hiding the scores from players while maintaining them on the backend for tiering purposes.

This would help with morale issues of dominated servers and could help with the “ghost town effect”.

Also, ANET can simply declare they are doing this for matchmaking purposes and people wouldnt QQ all THAT much :P

It’s not perfect but i think it’s worth spending some neural cycles on.

Unless i see a source for the OP’s postulation.

Limbei ga le gong hor, TC sibei buay pai eh, tio hoot bo tai chee, toi lap sibei shiok, wvw confirm ai pah.

(Translation for our non sg forum folk: This dude says, TC is really solid, regardless of how much we are kicked or punched, we’ll always come out swinging in wvw.)

But seriously, if your guild is largely Pvx, TC is one of the best places to be, our server is mostly Pve, and as such has population in most Pve zones on the various primetimes.

You’ll get groups of RPers occasionally walking around on a parade, norns here and there in some remote lodge lim kopi (drinking coffee), you never know what you’re going to find.

The population is largely mature and friendly, i’ve witnessed maybe 2/3 goofy teamchat trolling in Lion’s Arch in my time here, and it’s usually in good fun not the usual QQ .

Things are stable and while we arent always kicking butt in wvw (which is a wvw population issue), most here play for fun, and we always get out in force, at least on 1 map :P.

That’s my honest representation, as little BS as possible, if you choose TC as your new home,
