the t1 servers only have like 3 people they can fight ……don’t complain it gets boring and don’t come down to fight us if you insist on clinging to your overpowered servers.
Anet, keep these guys away from us, they have no interest in fighting fair and their complaints about boring fights with the same people over and over should be ignored. That’s what they want, and they do not deserve high ranks for clinging to numbers. either that or you may as well call 1st 2nd and 3rd place for the leagues already …give them a cookie and end this silly event …they are fooling no one.
hey, maybe anet could leave the main wvw as it is …..but then make another identical map under it with the cap and 12 hour matches…..this way the t1 guys can run back to the big empty field when they feel unsafe in smaller maps.
you get your player vs door , we get our fair title matches – win / win.

just make the wvw cap to match the mid-size servers ….and we see what happens on the field. you guys are number 1 right ? surely you can hold that title in a fair fight vs us little guys! No one wants to believe you are the best because you simply have too many people! Noo!! never that!
well, no, i’m indirectly looking out for you too. you have very few opponents and the mid level players want to kick your kitten.
and honestly, as a mid player – i’m upset because we had a nice thing going here – we had some amazing fights vs other servers, there is a larger variety of worthy opponents in the mid section than the t1 servers have as opponents. those top servers bloated themselves out of the fun and we really don’t want them down here battling with us. Our fights are consistently epic and fun for everyone. Sure I showed a cap of how we took over eternal, but by morning the other server will fight back and take a ton of property too lol – there are no facemelts or losers in our fights – just an epic battle for everyone along with a never say die attitude to take it all back – this fight isn’t a landslide – it’s actually pretty close and if we sleep on them, they are going to get even! hahaha!!
the real players from t1 should leave, so the mid level servers can have a field day with the wannabes. “but but wait …why are we losing, we have all 3 bonuses, this can’t be right…..where’s our commander!!”
are you kidding me ? not supposed to be fair ? thats why wvw is a mess, that’s exactly the mind frame that is ruining the game.
you guys make the game unbalanced and sit back while everyone blames it on anet.
You want easy wins, thats not good.
we don’t want easy fights, we want good fights – mid level servers have server pride – they don’t run! this would be most of t1 in a fair fight. – just capped.

the fights would change because the shift that plays vs doors will get bored and their wins not taken seriously, the day and night shifts can’t leach off each others score – if we had a major population on all servers – then it would be more respectable ..but that’s not the case. You can’t claim to be a winner because you simply have the most people on all the time, that isn’t strategy…that’s propaganda.
the only thing bloodlust means is that it takes 2 extra hits to take out the enemies – my server isn’t even bothering with it in the current match.
thank you, well said. I am hoping that we can get some mechanics that will stop this behavior. My server has very talented core players, and we have to constantly adapt to new guilds coming and going ….it’s not fair to people who are loyal to their server who made the server look worthy to transfer to in the first place.

Now if they feel intimidated by this idea, that’s another debate.
I believe if the fights were more evenly matched, the stories on this forum would be very different. No one should feel insulted by this.
there isn’t going to be a consensus as long as people want to play unfair.
and yes, the top tier servers are full of people grouping together to win unfairly, that isn’t a secret – it’s not an insult either, it’s the truth.

Make the matches even, and you will see a different outcome and more robust experience in wvw.

yall don’t have to transfer, stay where you are …..just 12 hour matches / with wvw caps and the mid level servers will destroy you. We face unbalanced matches regularly and guess what …we win …and when we don’t we keep the transfer bunnies hopping all the same.

exactly – the day and night teams can’t leach off each others score for one …and for 2 …..they would want better competition so they would look to fight people who are on at the same time. The problem is ….hard core players being mixed with casual players – and daytime players scores being mixed with night time players score. These scores aren’t real ..and if you put them in their right perspective …we will see talent – How can you praise someone skills for going player vs door ? …how do they deserve glory for that ? no…just no.

yes, exactly – it would be epic – and …..to make the ranking sensible – you can have both alliance and guild rankings – the guilds would be ranked based on their contribution to the alliance in the match – so each match can have sub totals as to how many points each guild added to the winning score. so even a losing server will have a winning team for x guild adding the most points to the score.

its been a while and the lower servers had a lot of training from your bloatedness.
we have one major advantage you don’t, the courage to face hard odds, and we are all level 80 now.

honestly……nah …..because then the excuse would be ….you guys were lucky and only won because of the buff.
We had some amazing and intense fights in the mid level without the need of having wall to wall zerg coverage – in fact …it added to the element of surprise because you had no idea were our teams would pop up next. It also left enough space for roamers and spotters who kept an eye out for roaming zergs. There is no doubt more strategy in an emptier map – than having people everywhere all the time.
I can actually see it as an esport -
if 1 – anet capped the wvw population so the biggest server can’t do the clowns in a volkswagen strategy.
2 – if guilds were allowed to organize their own private fights
and on the trinity – while it’s not as hard core as gw1 – there are advantages to having a healing ele, a warrior handing out buffs …a pali offering protection and a mesmer porting people – so there is still some strategy left
I said break them up – having an overpopulated server should not be an advantage. if they want to stay in their server …fine – but they can’t overpower the wvw map.
being an overpopulated server should not mean you won by default. Period!
it’s the truth though, everytime my server got on a winning streak, we suddenly got swarmed with new guilds ….the minute we faced a challenge or there was some event that an over populated server had a clear advantage , everyone would leave – Our core players are great and really deserve more respect than that. It was hard enough dealing with a whole new population of commanders ……then dealing with a ghost town and having to get re-organized all over again. It’s happened more than once, lucky for us our core players are stronger than that, but it’s annoying all the same – wish they would have stayed out – we started winning without them – then to suddenly have our maps filled with 5 commanders running to the same spots like the new kids on the block wanting to take over. Every time we get new guilds, the first few weeks of adjusting to their commanders is a joke.
These transferring guilds are a problem and the reason why anything anet adds to wvw won’t work ….they are the cause of lag, unbalanced matches, and long ques. sorry if that doesn’t sound nice, but it’s true.

Anet needs to stop rewarding treason, and t1 and t2 needs to stop thinking they have skills ….they are fat …nothing more. bloated servers are full of traitors and groupies, players who ran from their servers because they didn’t have the skill or the courage to face difficult challenges.
cap wvw so this server recruiting nonsense can come to an end – recruiting is for guilds …not servers.
Give us bonuses for being loyal to our server and these bandwagon guilds the penalties they deserve!!
The bandwagon players are the ones that made wvw a big unbalanced mess, you shouldn’t reward them for messing up the game.

that’s why the t1 groupies have got to go! they aren’t entitled to any bragging rights.
yes there was, we have every right to fight for first place – but we don’t want to fight T1 groupies. Population and being outnumbered is a lame excuse for a win, we want to fight the core people that believed …before everyone else followed.
nope, we have great pvp strategists on our server and I am happy there – the transfer bunnies are smothering the people we want to fight. ^.^
that’s not fair either – they don’t like fighting the same bloated servers over and over – There are a few groups of people that don’t need a ton of zergs to win – they are the ones that constantly bring all these servers to number one …and thats honorable – whats NOT honorable is when everyone flocks to say they are a part of them and turn those guys strategy into this massive ball of meat.
We have some pretty mean pvp strategists in the mid tiers that would have fun fights vs these guys – we will never see those fights if they are covered in fat. It’s not justice to them, and its not justice to pvp’rs who would rather face the odds than join a bloated server to play hard.
I’ll agree with that too, in the early part of the game, our server got infested with bots – so I took a break and wvw’d with hod for a while when they were hot…..they were amazing strategists – i went back to my original server after they cleaned up the bots.
as long as this is ranked by server vs server – no particular group will get their glory due to the bandwagon guilds that throw the game off balance – I know there’s a hot group in t1 ….but being bloated doesn’t let them shine.

self entitlement is a group of bandwagoners that pay to transfer to the winning server unbalance the game and overwhelm everyone who is loyal to their servers.

I was just thinking about it, this league stuff, punishes people who are loyal to their servers – we really should get some perks for sticking to our guns and server pride. we should have bonus stats to our accounts for every month we’ve been loyal to our servers!
a server loyalty bonus is also in order.
12 hour matches, with a population cap will turn the tides.
neither, I have server pride and believe in our pvprs. They didn’t run. we’d own you on a level playing field.
yeah, because they can’t take the heat. They needed the comfort of constant coverage and unreasonable odds. They ran to safety.
they would get stomped by maguuma, northern shiverspeaks, Ehmry Bay, darkhaven and others , all of which have intense pvp’rs that don’t run when the going gets tough.
T1 is for people who want easy wins. Nothing you can say will change that fact.
and the fights should only last 12 hours long so we can nip this round the clock coverage nonsense in the bud!! the day shift and night shift.
Kill every last advantage the T1 bandwaggoning servers have and they will look like wet chickens! Promise!! it is after all what they are made of, chicken guilds that ran!

the facts are, the lower tier servers have many times been outnumbered and still hung in there while most of your bandwaggon population ran to be in t1 servers.
T1 servers would get served – they never had to face impossible odds, they are weak, they are full of guilds that run to safety.
i have zero doubts that the lower tier servers would wipe the FLOOR with the overpopulated wvw servers if they got sliced up into small wvw groups ….why ? because the t1 got soft skinned from traveling in big gangs …they have zero strategy! they are the orcs of society!
easy, you should not be able to pay to win. an overpopulated server is an easy win, transferring to an overpopulated server should have zero advantage.
Kill the overpopulated server advantage. Kill the ques save the whales!
why, cuz I think you actually need skill to win ? lol
and that wonderful family is going to be full of tears when everyone leaves your server because being overpopulated won’t mean anything for a win.
