If I have been following everything correctly this is what we know for sure:

Individual (or sold by themselves) town clothing head pieces will be turned into helm armor skins (bunny ears, sunglasses, etc)

Individual other town clothes items that are not head pieces will be turned into undyable, unstackable tonics with the remaining slots filled in with modesty clothing (khaki cargo pants, cherry blossom shirt, etc)

Clothing items that came in a costume set will be turned into a single slot outfit and reduced to only 4 colors – compared to its previous up to 4 colors per individual item – this will include its head piece (so Mad King Thorn with pumpkin head or no Mad King thorn at all)

Refunds to outfits will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Individual items made into tonics can be refunded.
Gems will be what you will get back.

I’ve had to change the day of the Piken Square protest to Friday 11th April, due to it clashing with a big RP event. It’ll still be at 7pm in the garden at the centre of Divinity’s Reach.

I want to keep it a peaceful event, with people wearing their best mix and match town clothes outfits, so we can take screenshots. Maybe even do some dancing.

I doubt it will make any difference to ArenaNet’s plans for the clothes, but at least we’ll hopefully get some good screenshots and memories of what our characters used to look like, and have some fun doing it.

Still GMT? That would be 1pm CST for me if I am doing the math right. I can make that time work =)

Those are really good suggestions Peacenote.

The protest event sounds splendid, I’ll be there, with friends who share our concerns.

I finally finished compiling an image of all my characters in their current town clothes arrangements. I am one miserable girl now because of the seemingly impending doom to all these combinations and color options ;_; why must you make me cry such tears Anet?

In the future, will completing map exploration in WvW be removed from the requirement for the gift of exploration? It doesn’t make sense to have a largely PvE crafted weapon make you fight other players to complete it. World Exploration should only matter in the PvE world, as the Mists are not the same world or game mode.

Feedback/Questions: The Megaserver System: World Bosses and Events

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Risa Aerulight.3914

I agree that the cons outweigh the pros in the upcoming feature pack. This update will probably take so much fun out of the game that it won’t be worth the ‘nice’ parts of the change. This update seems to many as rushed, not ready, and not thoroughly thought out and tested. It seems to many that Anet isn’t even aware of how their game is really played and possibly even worse, doesn’t care about their consumers like they claim.
There has been so much contradiction and inconsistency from Anet that it appears they will only keep breaking the great thing they had started building. I don’t know if that is because of pressure from NCSoft or not.

Some of the things that have been severely disliked which I agree in that distaste:

Town Clothes: Mix n’ Match ability gone – forced to wear the entire outfit, only 4 dye panels, single town clothes items except for head pieces will now be unstackable, undyeable tonics. This all results in a step backward from the current system and makes what would have been a fun feature – town clothes over armor – absolutely pointless.
Waypoints and Zone Loading: they are doubled in time and cost, and also make dungeons nearly inaccessible.
World Boss Schedule: Way too spread out and static as the current plan stands, compared to the original dynamic flow. Scheduled events would be more okay if they overlapped and rotated so that all world bosses could be played in a single 3 hr play session by any player. And if they had better world reactions to them coming and going so frequently.
More Gold Outflow than Inflow: (Gold Sinks are BAD. This is a game, not the real world. We want to relax from work and economic hardship when we play not fret over them more.) Gathering resources will be even more time consuming than ever before and basically unreliable which will cause resource prices to rise. The above mentioned waypoints. Less gold reward from already barely rewarding events and champ boxes. The previously mentioned hindrance to dungeons also lowers gold income as they are far more harder to get into. Traits…see below.
Megaserver: Sounds great in theory. But now maps will be too full the majority of the time and shards will be opening all the time making it that much harder to get coordinated activities done effectively, as well as messing with the previously mentioned gathering nodes and affecting the waypoint status broadcasting. This Megaserver destroys server identity – yes you will be more likely to play with people from your server, but so what? Is it really your server instance you are playing on?
Traits: These are affected by the megaserver and static boss timer and the reduced gold inflow and increased gold outflow – they are another gold sink themselves and utterly obnoxious to obtain. Yes it cost money before in the trait books, but this was superior because it unlocked all traits of its associated tier instead of making you errand boy/girl yet again, all the while having to load zones twice and pay twice for waypointing to get there.
Armor Transmutation: will actually be more expensive for low level players (3 stones now instead of one per armor item under lvl 80)

Compared to what I was ’oh yay!" about:
1. Account-wide Wardrobe works across WvW/PvP/PvE, saves inventory space, and I only need a skin once.
2. I only need a dye once.
3. Last Login time stamp for guild members.
4. No more repair costs.
5. Legendaries and Ascended gear switched to account bound.

I’m seeing a lot of incoming gold reduced, a lot of outgoing gold doubled, opportunity to do what you want and have your choices be meaningful reduced, whole structures and features of the game destroyed, ‘transparent communication’ becoming more of a lie all the time and gem store sales becoming untrustworthy. Now I don’t know if it is even worth anyone’s time to continue bothering to play this game anymore – a sort of “quit now while it has any semblance of what made you love it” feeling. It’s just so incredibly depressing.

Risa Aerulight.3914

YES! I’m so glad someone else got around to mentioning something that has been on my mind for some time now. =)
So, obviously I agree with the idea and desire profession-based finishers as well. I love your thought on how to acquire it, that was something I hadn’t considered yet and makes perfect sense to me because PvP is the place a finisher is most desired and most easily viewed as it goes off. I agree it should be something PvPers can earn. Part of the reason I hadn’t mentioned it yet was wondering how to make it so only a given profession could use it’s finisher – no Necros doing any Ele’s or Thief’s finisher for example.
Racial finishers is another great idea, yet still makes me wonder how would it be best implemented so that you can only activate a Sylvari finisher on a Sylvari and a Norn on a Norn, etc.
I suppose, it could be one finisher and when you use it the game checks your race and then applies the appropriate animation, models, and effects. That might work for the profession one too. Make both a single finisher each that checks for race or profession, whichever is relevant to it, before applying the appropriate look. I think both should be unlocks acquired through a decent amount of PvP, but not so much that an average PvE or WvW player couldn’t get it through playing a little PvP every day if they really wanted it.

I want to play for the "bad" side sometimes

Risa Aerulight.3914

I couldn’t agree more Fext.

That was ret-conned lore Basharic. Only made so they could add Charr as a playable furry race when they had originally made them out to be such perfectly horrible and hate-able enemies. They did so well with that in GW1 that I will never stop hating Charr for what they did to the humans. I wont forget how it really was.

I do wish personal story at least actually did give you real and meaningful choices rather than drag you along a preset story that some NPC ends up hi-jacking no matter what you choose. I wish there were racial tension-relevant ways to complete map exploration – ways you could explore a zone or at least get the eventually necessary Gift of Exploration, without having to help Charr or Asura or what-have-you, if they are the ones that rub your character the wrong way. What if you character finds walking, talking plants just too much to comprehend? Why force them through ‘their personal story’ as if that weren’t the case? There are so many other ways a character could complete things, like Fext said. Maybe you don’t want to help that Charr plan his meatober fest? Maybe you want to help ruin it instead? Maybe you think the Sylvari should sort out their nightmare court problems themselves and instead help some priory person study something interesting nearby? why have chore-hearts in the first place? Obviously most of that would be far to ridiculous to change now, but it would have been quite interesting if the dynamic world and personal story where pushed that far and left you feeling extremely unique with each character you make and play.

No Holy Trinity = Boring?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Risa Aerulight.3914

Hmm. That’s very interesting Bryzy.
In my musing I find that I don’t necessarily want a strict holy trinity system to be implemented into GW2, but I also don’t want what has become standard in GW2: “DPS or go home”.
The game claims you have freedom to play whatever you want, but you don’t. I’ve found it is much harder to get event participation if you are built for aid and healing others, or if you are built to be a tanky distraction, or if you are built to focus on conditions. (Though it’s healers that have the hardest time for sure) It’s also really hard to be accepted into groups if you are arranged for one of those roles. Rare is the party that wants a tank and a healer with them, and yet when I do find a group with one healer, one tank, and 3 dps variety characters we succeed at challenges far better than any other arrangement.
We all know Anet is working on balancing berzerkers, and many have brought the conditions specialist concerns up (weak against objects). But what about the tanks and the healers out there? I don’t know how difficult it would be programming-wise, but I at least would find it wonderful if the engine could be adjusted to take into account the efforts of players who focus their time and their builds into helping other player characters. Whether that be endless direct healing, or through toughness enough to body block a threat from reaching a ranged dps character, or carefully weakening a foe so that damage focused players are even more effective. If the rewards were more equal across all the build combinations, then players really would be free to play what they want and to try out all sorts of different options.

Risa Aerulight.3914

I agree with basically everything Twyll Blackleaf has said, as well as many, many others.
I vote NO to the town clothes change.
Wardrobe, yes. Dyes, yes. All the other nifty balances and features rolled into the upcoming feature pack, yes. But town clothes not mix n’ match with themselves anymore? NO! and WHY??? (even worse making odd pieces into tonics? what was the person thinking who proposed that? I don’t understand.)
I have been asking since launch for the pirate captain outfit to be separated so we can mix ‘n match it’s top and pants with other town clothing items. How could I be happy with the functionality I have been asking for not being implemented and all the other town clothes now losing that functionality too? I find that to be the very opposite of what many people have been requesting all along.
Yes, I too wanted town clothes in combat like so many others. But, I was requesting them as an overlay over my armor that I could toggle on and off like I already can; as an overlay that I could organize and customize all the 6 pieces of at will. Not as an overlay in the sense of GW1 where I have 1 body suit and 1 head… and downgrading to only 4 dye panels for the whole thing… that’s just tripping near the top of the hill and falling back down to where you started.
Mostly, when I was requesting the town clothes in combat feature I was just asking for you to remove the conditional tag that tells the game to switch out of town clothes appearance when the character takes damage. This would theoretically allow the player to retain whatever visual representation they have toggled on (armor/town clothes) AND be able to mix n’ match and dye each piece respectively – town clothes with town clothes and armor with armor.
If the system really must go forward as currently hinted, I find no good reason coming to mind for why we shouldn’t be allowed to arrange all the individual clothing items and bake them into our own complete ‘outfits’ that can be equipped to the single outfit slot. Example: Glasses + Sakura Shirt + Khaki Cargo Pants + Chef Gloves + Basic Starter Boots = Custom Outfit Set #1.
If you cannot form a clear mental image of my suggestion, or any of the other player’s suggestions in this thread, please ask us in return to clarify. One of the biggest concerns that is frustrating the majority of persons participating in this thread would be the lack of crystalline clarity.

I’d also like to request persons requesting a toggle option not be accused of complaining, they are simply asking for a feature implementation, which is precisely one of the reasons for having and using forums – communicating what we are experiencing in game play and how we might find it improved.

1001 Gems?

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Risa Aerulight.3914

I just experienced this too. I logged into the game specifically to see how much the new mask cost and what the exchange rate for gold to gems currently is and when I switched back to the gem store tab from the exchange tab it showed that I had 1001 gems. For a moment I thought maybe it was one of those nice quarterly treats Anet does for players who buy gems, so I tried using them but nothing happened. Perhaps it is just a display bug. However, it didn’t open the buy gems interface when I attempted a purchase, which it normally does when you try to buy something with 0 gems – which is the true amount I currently have. So maybe it is more than just a display bug? As far as I can tell it is a random bug because performing the same actions in the same order does not consistently replicate it.

It’s probably too late to make the request possible, so I will add my 2 cents as a suggestion for next time.
This prank was loads of fun. It is incredibly original and did a great job at catching me by surprise. I am very pleased with all the amusing screenshots I have now.
However, as has already been noted, it isn’t fun for a good portion of people after a prolonged period of play because it has a possible side effect of causing headaches and nausea. I find the idea of offering an option to toggle off the effect once a player has had their fill of the fun to be a very solid suggestion. By default they could leave the effect on, triggered by login/play during the 24 hours of the April 1st holiday so that anyone who enters the game gets a chance to experience the prank. Also including a toggle off option would then allow players to resume normal play once they have reached their own personal level of pleasant satisfaction with the experience without ending it for others who are still enjoying it or have not yet had a chance to see it. I think the upper bar of icons where you can find the inventory panel, hero panel, trading post, etc would have been a good place to put a little button the player could click to turn the effect off and on. Doing that would have made a good prank into a great one. =) I for one am already looking forward to next year’s April Fool’s Day. If Anet puts as much amazing effort into it next year as they have this year and apply the feedback they are getting this year to next year’s, it is going to make for an exceptionally fun day!

Armor/Clothing suggestions and requests

Risa Aerulight.3914

What are some of the armors and clothes we have already seen in the game that we would like to have implemented for player use? I have a few ideas and would love to
have you add your ideas to the list. Try keeping what we can already see in game as a guideline for your suggestions so we can keep them in the realm of possible for Anet to act on. Anet told us back at launch that we would eventually get to be able to wear anything we see an NPC wearing. So, let’s let em know which ones we are particularly keen on seeing sooner rather than later. =)

My first thought is Lady Kasmeer’s armor (EDIT) This has now been added to the game. Huge Thanks to Anet from me! It made my whole week better seeing this in the PvP locker today and I am extremely excited to acquire this for my main light armor.

Next thought, again Lady Kasmeer is the culprit, I want a real bathing suit for my girls instead of having them swim in their underwear. And those sandals Kasmeer was wearing at Southsun? Adorable! These need to be in my girls’ wardrobes as well – they’d go great with those darling khaki cargo shorts we were given in May.
And the hairstyles Kasmeer and Marjory are sporting… Yes. I want those too. ~sets aside enough gems for 2 hairstyle kits~
Another thought, Countess Anise’s armor. Another light armor appearance I would enjoy having available. The top has a hint of the Mad King’s Court dress from GW1, which I also loved.
Last thought, the town clothes most of the noble or wealthy human females in Divinity’s Reach are wearing. There are basically 2 styles of long and elegant dresses that appear to be clever mixes of skirt and blouse combinations. For those of my Human girls that I chose the nobility background for, I would like to have them dress appropriately while strolling around town.

Now that’s probably enough ideas from me for one post. =)

(EDIT) I would also like to suggest that new armor appearances be made craftable or acquirable through other in game means rather than skins that have to be purchased with gems. Town clothes are fine as gem purchases. However, to have to pay 800 gems for a pair of medium armor boots or a heavy armor top, for example, is ridiculous. This is especially so when you have to pay that several times if you want those on more than one character. The cost of these armor skins is way out of proportion compared to the rest of the armor in the game if you try to use in game gold to buy gems. A piece of exotic armor can usually be acquired with 2-3 in game gold whereas it would take around 24 in game gold to get the gems needed to buy the armor piece’s look you want from the gem store. Even if you bought or crafted 6 armor pieces it would still only be half what it takes to get an armor look from the gem store. There is also inventory clutter when you don’t want the rest of the armor that comes with the one piece you want. Armor skins need to not be gem store purchases or they need to be significantly lower in gem price and possibly split up into their individual pieces. Since the latter would take up a lot of room in the gemstore I suggest just making armor skins craftable while leaving town clothes and toys and such as gem store purchases.

Why wasn’t the server maintenace announced in the login window news feed? Not all players think or know to check the forums (or facebook, twitter, etc) every single day before playing, especially when there generally isn’t need to. This time there was. Major down times like this are extremely important news and should generally be placed where all players will see it.
What about all the people who were still trying desperately to beat the t4 candidate trials? Why was the new content published before the usual time (for my time zone it’s always been 11 am, but new content went live at like 6 am, before the server was even back up for us)? Magic Find [merged]

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Risa Aerulight.3914

Risa Aerulight.3914

I don’t understand why Evon quoted me as if in response to my post but then spoke of something I didn’t even mention. What does replacing the magic find stat have to do with our suggestion? Concerning his suggestion though, I think ‘re-balancing’ every armor set in the game is an unnecessary extreme. Especially when there are quite a few very solid arrangements that don’t really need re-balancing. They most likely will replace the stat with another as it wouldn’t do to have a 2 stat combo in the 3 stat combo tiers.

This thread should probably be left to suggestions on how we would like to see the new change roll out and not be used to continue the argument of whether one person using MF gear is leeching off another person not using MF gear. Clearly Anet has heard that argument and feels that to an extent there is some truth to that concern. Thus they are going to try a different approach to MF.

I too, am a little weary at the thought of having to grind this stat out all over again, hence the suggestion I made. Being able to convert the old MF I already earned into an increase to the new MF system would help with that.

Those concerned that one will not be able to achieve as high a MF bonus after the change as they can achieve now needn’t worry. Mr. Johanson said in one of the interviews following his post that the account bound MF stat will be able to go well over 100%, just like it can now.

However, the suggestion of completely removing MF altogether and making the RNG a little nicer to all would be a good way of doing things too, instead of making it an account bound stat, because it feels like it will end up being like that in the long run anyway. When all the players have hit the MF cap, we’ll all be getting the exact same chances at loot, so why not just make it that way from the start? At least, it would seem like a simpler way to do things from my perspective. Though, that still doesn’t do anything for what would be lost in the change. So perhaps using an account bound version of MF before completely removing it from the game altogether isn’t a bad route to take as it would make it a slightly more gradual change. Which thought again leaves me with thinking that if we can essentially have after the update what we had before the update then there wouldn’t be much frustration at all. Transferring my current MF gear into an equivalent sized permanent increase to the account-wide stat would mean my investments in those items are still time, effort, and currency well spent.

Edit: Oh yeah, I almost forgot to Answer Evon’s question. It’s a little off topic but I did have 2 cents for you:
I would think that is why there is the current ‘1 million FB likes’ event going on. It will help determine how many of those box sales are actually still seriously playing. What the numbers look like from that are despite selling 3 million copies, just under 1 million are still seriously playing. My theory is that those lost 2 million left WoW in the first place for the newest shiny thing and have since moved on to whatever else is the newest shiny thing, so it’s hard for me to imagine that they would go back to WoW. Either way there are still a very healthy number of players on GW2 as our servers, at least in NA, are each still quite full. =)

Risa Aerulight.3914

What Kovacs Zoltan and I understand from reading the post and interviews of Colin Johanson:
MF is being removed as a stat from almost all gear.
MF will be an account wide bonus from then on out.
This bonus will be leveled up through salvaging fine and masterwork items for consumable permanent increases (something like a karma jug but for magic find).

We are already seeing the account wide bonus and a slow increase to it in the form of the new achievement point milestones reward system.

We like the idea of account wide bonuses and not having to choose between “serious” armor and loot hunting armor.

Yet, we too are concerned about everything that went into making our current MF sets (dungeon tokens, gold, laurels, commendations, blood, sweat, and tears, etc.) We know that it has been officially said that this new change will be done with an attempt at making the least disturbing impact on those of us who have invested so. Therefore we have this to suggest as a possible route for that:
/suggest
Perhaps allowing those who have MF sets to turn/trade them in for “xp” to level up our account-wide bonus to something closer to what we had put together before would make it feel like less of an immediate loss or “return to square one”. This we feel would be pretty fair to all persons concerned and wouldn’t require trying to figure out exactly how much each player has spent on their MF gear.
/end suggestion.
I think that’s the gist of it, hopefully I summed up our thoughts clearly enough.

What happened to Oakhearts?

I agree. I would like some of them to remain. It does make the ranger skills feel like they make a bit more sense and it also goes well with the whole plant slayer chievo… we’ve killed so many that some of them are now ghosts… or something like that… which fits perfectly with a dynamic world being affected by player activity.

The fact that there are a dozen or more forum posts for people to know where an uncontested Grenth is, should be call enough for a fix. I and many others have had it beyond up to our eyeballs in stress, not fun, trying to get Grenth completed… has Anet bothered to notice how many failed attempts there are? One after another, after another, etc… it doesn’t matter if it is 4 people or 50+… Jonez falls over if you wink at him. Please, at least make him a level 80 guardian with exotic armor and his trait line in vitality… and teach him how to use his healing skill. Oh yes, and don’t let him run from his post while channeling the cleanse. It doesn’t make sense for him to aggro on other monsters if he is supposed to be busy concentrating on a spell. Lastly, make it easier to pull the champion risen priest back to the skill point. He doesn’t seem to care how much we pester him, once he decides to walk to the middle of the chamber he usually stays there and then his aoe’s destroy Jonez in 2 hits… 2 hits! At least players can generally last 3 direct hits, 4 hits if we use a heal skill immediately and we have a downed state. Jonez flat out dies in 2 hits despite several full cleric gear heals being dropped on him. This is ridiculous. Before the patch the temple wasn’t fun and after the patch it still isn’t fun. I suggest all the staff at Anet try 4 man attempts and 30+ man attempts at cleansing the temple of Grenth. If everyone on staff can succeed in 1-2 tries and have fun, then the player base can reconsider their level of skill. I highly doubt you will find this will be the result however. While you are at it, try doing the same with Balthazaar… those pact members are nearly as pathetic as Jonez.

Orichalcum Node Bug

I notice this bug most frequently in SSC, I will gather a passiflora and suddenly all nodes on the map disappear. It can happen on the very first node, or halfway thru the amount of nodes on the map. I’ve submitted in-game tickets as much and as accurately as I possibly can. I am sad to hear it is happening to the ori too, and would explain why I can’t find the second one in Frostgorge today. The nodes there can be far enough apart that I would miss the bug going off most of the time.

Option for Viewing Back Items

Please Anet, it may be a request from a small portion of the player base but it is really important to consider how certain visual items will affect various kinds of persons in your customer base. While waiting to hear a response to this request from you, I have been trying to ask players in game to turn off the tentacle back items while I am in a party with them but mostly I get laughed at and my requests ignored – and there is absolutely nothing I can do about seeing them while exploring the general game world. I for one cannot comfortably play the game with tentacles filling my screen, it is disturbing. Please at the very least implement an option to not render back items on our individual graphics settings. I still think it would be good to allow players the option to trade in the back items for a second copy of the skin they prefer should they desire it, however that is not as important if it is not feasible with your current manpower.

Precisely.
For that particular item, it may even be worthwhile to allow players to trade in the tentacle back piece for an exotic version of the flower one so that either 2 characters on their account can possibly have that skin or they at least have access to an ascendable flower instead of only an ascendable tentacle… likewise for those inclined to use the tentacle one, allow them to trade in the flower for a second rare version of the tentacle back piece. Either way it would be appreciated to have an option to toggle off the display of back items.

Nretep has a good point that toggling off some of these things on an individual basis will help with loading times, some new back items have some higher graphical demands, and will allow each person to enjoy the game as he or she desires.

Please provide us with an option/toggle to NOT see other character’s back pieces.

I request the Pirate Captain’s Outfit town clothes item available from the Black Lion Trading Company be split into a top and bottom piece for further possibilities. IE: using the Designer Hoodie with the Captain’s Pants, or the Starter Skirt with the Captain’s Top, etc.
Thank you.

Character Voice Options

Risa Aerulight.3914

Indeed, you are right.
I believe this is possible for this game since it was fairly well done in Aion and several of the expanded character creation options we can see in Aion have been made available for Guild Wars 2. These options are my first reason for buying GW2 right away – I’m very much about character customization being able to fit whatever concept the player may think of and desire to play within the game world. Since there is a large emphasis on ‘personal story’, being able to adjust the voice closer to what you as the player are envisioning for your character would add so very much more to the immersion, and make your character much more dynamic, and more ‘yours’.

Connect in-game bug reporting to Support website bug reporting

I would like to request that our in-game submitted bug reports be connected to the Support website’s “My Stuff” section.

This would be so we can follow up on any reports we make. I for one, have made a few reports that within the day or next day after I made them I figured out weren’t bugs or I found more detail for ones that were. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to update those reports like we can the ones submitted through the support website. Like being able to ‘close’ the ticket if we find it isn’t a real problem, or be able to add more detail if we find more information that could be helpful. This would help the sensation of “Doh! ‘face palm’” that I get when I realize I reported something that wasn’t a bug, and it would help the support team not have to field through quite so many tickets, if we can close them ourselves when deemed un-important. The support teams are incredibly busy right now, so I would like to help make what they have to work with more efficient.

For example: At one point I thought the crafting material nodes were bugged because I was getting unpredictable extra gathers. After a day of this and seeing it was all nodes and not just wood, (my first thought was oh, now the wood node gathers match the number of axe charges you get) I submitted a ticket. A few hours later the WvW gathering bonus was brought to my attention for the first time, and I realized it wasn’t an error that the nodes were randomly giving extra gathering opportunities, but that it was behaving as intended. I immediately ‘face-palmed’ and wished I could close the ticket so the support team wouldn’t have to worry about checking for bugged nodes, and/or double checking what WvW bonuses were active at the time of submission. That is a lot of needless work for them that would be better spent on say, fixing textures that like to migrate northward on your character at unpredictable times.

I vote for this.
At the very least switch from soul to account bound so I can send all the copper tools my high level toon has to my low level alts.
I’d be even happier if tools didn’t drop from bags of loot too… I’ve way more than I’ll ever use on all my toons put together, it’s like a wasted reward since they are bound to character and not sell-able to the merchants.

I vote no on the mounts. Tyria’s culture, as I have said elsewhere, does not support the need for mounts as they have developed waypoint and gate technology. If someone doesn’t want to play the game because they can’t appreciate that, then it’s not the game for them anyway.

I don’t want mounts. Mounts are WOW’s thing. Tyria is too cool already for mounts. We have Asuran way point and gate technology, the culture in this game has moved past the need for using mounts to get from point A to point B.
