I was wondering why I couldn’t advance the quest I didn’t have the option when I spoke to Miyani. Yet again it’s proven why 1 time events shouldnt be implemented in the future especially if they arent tested thoroughly

MF shouldn’t even be in this game tbh half the time I noticed a player dying or barely doing damage I ask what gear they are rolling with and they link me MF gear it just handicaps the group

honestly its completely ridiculous how any mmo in 2012 would go live without a voice program. TS, vent, mumble, skype, etc…all need to be downloaded for a feature that should be built in.

It costs the company a lot to invest in that feature and you usually get something lackluster

Warriors, guardians and eles are wanted because those are the strongest professions at the moment. (mesmers no so much) I imagine this will change some, because considering the fractals I’ve seen so far melee is being punished quite hard.

How exactly are mesmers not as viable as eles? They can keep clones/illusions up which bosses target saving you from getting 1 shotted then there is timewarp and they put out decent damage with all 3 illusions up

What did you guys expect Anet made most previous dungeons ridiculously easy where people would autoattack and tab out now obviously not all previous dungeons were like this

This does not only apply to dungeons… Oh no my friends. The bullkitten goes deeper. Just now I was doing the Claw of Jormag event. Spent 20 minutes at it… All well and good. Then I get disconnected.

Oh boy. Well I logged back in and The Claw of Jormag was not yet defeated. So we defeated it and guess what… No reward. I’m guessing because the game thought I didn’t contribute enough – maybe it was reset when I got logged out. This is complete and utter bullkitten. Get this sorted out.

I doubt anet is going to go out of their way to find solutions to this most likely because it is a connection issue which most of the times isn’t their fault but the players

Already have energy on staff it makes more sense since staff has a really slow attack speed

I’m currently using sigil of strrength on my gs i’m thinking of changing it to air or another sigil. I’m berserker gear with 20/20/0/0/30 build. Suggestions?

Only fix for this I can see is if they mailed tokens to everyone in the party after beating the final boss

Found it boring tbh it was short and 90% of the fights were autoattack and go afk only fun fight in this game for me was giganticus

That’s technically an Exploit and any discussion of it here would rightfully be deleted instantly by the Moderators. It’s also WAAAY more work than simply having the player that the NPC is following, wait a good distance outside the door, since you only need 2-3 people handling the crystals. And yes I was in a team a day or two ago that this worked perfectly for even though there was some rather humorous mishaps along the way that happen to just about any team that isn’t completely familiar with eachother’s playstyles

How exactly is this an exploit? Did they not beat the final boss?

dungeons are cross server mate !
add some peeps to your social list and you will have no trouble with dungeons.
every time I find decent players while running pug’s I talk to them and add them to my list, now whenever I need to run a dungeon I always end up having to tell people sorry full group next run ok ?

Like I said not everyone plays on a server with a high population and you can only play on servers who are within the same region

I do NOT approve of any out of the game immersion breaking LFG tools, for obvious reasons plus, the majority of people looking for groups do so in-game, GW1 survived for 7 years w/o an LFG tool, GW2 has the same kind of grouping tools GW1 had. if we start using this POS ! no one will be able to find people to run dungeons with in-game.

GW1 isn’t gw2 if you hadn’t noticed might want to take the nostalgia glasses off also gw1 had heroes/henchmen meaning you could solo everything. Also how does using this prevent players from grouping not everyone will use this tool anyway a small portion of the population will while the rest continue to use in-game mapchat spam this tool also helps servers that have a low/medium population

That’s true, a condition mesmer under water with trident clones is a brutal force.

I wonder why the trident clones use a different version of trident autoattack. My own trident autoattacks don’t cause confusion, theirs does.

This is because in Beta, Siren’s Call used to inflict Confusion on enemies and heal allies.

For condition Staff builds there is no reason to conjure a Warlock other than Shatter fodder: it does pitiful damage compared to a Staff Clone and doesn’t give you any boons.

Depends on your power and also on the duration of the fight.

A bleed from a staff clone does about 500 damage in a condition build. A single shot from a (weak) iWarlock does about 1000 damage or 1500 on a crit. So the staff clone needs multiple crits/procs and more time to do the same amount of damage. In a longer fight the staff clone will be ahead of course.

In my condition damage build, Staff Clones deal ~700 damage from Burning and ~600 damage from Bleeding, and this is increased as they stack Might (and Fury) on you. My Warlock, on the other hand, deals ~600 damage and attacks once for every three Staff Clone attacks.

When I say condition builds I mean pure condition builds. If you have a significant Power investment then you’re a hybrid build. Unfortunately this cannot be completely avoided in WvW due to there being no Rabid jewelery.

What do you use inplace of rabid trinkets?

Anets priorities seem to be release new content while delaying bug fixes for the old

Go to the left side of the door and use a blink spell then you will be inside the door you gotta bring again to the left you will be further in a bit but still stuck but you can now use your blink to get to the other side Btw when I say blink I don’t only mean the mesmer spell

I transferred to a EU server to help a player with path 4 out(You can’t do dungeons with other players from another continent) so I won’t be able to transfer back to US until the 18th unless you’re already on a EU server

This means using support/survival traits and utility skills, aka not utilising your glass cannon to its full potential. A glass elementalist running Armor of Earth, Mist Form and Lightning Flash, traiting cantrips and slotting traits for endurance regeneration is not a full glass cannon. A tanky elementalist can use offensive traits and utilities.
It all levels out. The difference is that you sacrifice offensive EFFECTS to get offensive STATS.

If you have done Lupicus or the Melandru priest with a truly fully glass team – video or didn’t happen, sorry.

Melandru is a joke you can literally stand in a spot at 1.2k range and not be hit nextime I do a run I guess i’ll record a video since you think its not possible to kill giganticus with a full berserker team. The illusion dies in like 2 autoattacks yes lets nerf stuff because the enemy can’t use their brain

Downed/Ress feature just kills it for me. I like sniping players from big zergs but here is the thing with a huge zerg the player you defeat will be ressed instantly or say you’re winning a 2v1 guess what that other player will be ressed within seconds. Oh and then there is the rendering bug with theives

You’re playing the wrong game. Most players will go full berserker because monsters go down faster as long as you can dodge red circles. I’ve done arah path 4 with a group with full berserkers so please don’t reply it doesn’t work

The old login screen was easily one of the better login screens I’ve seen in the ~15 years since login screens became a thing. Why they removed it is a mystery we are simply not meant to understand, I guess.

I’m trying to make precision/condition/toughness gear but it seems my only choices are obtain it through specific dungeons or spend 42k karma per piece. Why is it this gear isn’t craftable and ontop of that it seems there are no trinkets with these stats?

Why increase stats and give another bonus to these armor/weapons? This seems to be a good way to kill any other incentive to do dungeons now. I haven’t read this entire thread

Doesn’t really answer my question? I can play on other NA servers in dungeons but not other continent servers is it intended and will it be changed in the future?

I was trying to do a dungeon with a player from a EU server and i play on a NA server but anytime It ried to enter it kept giving me network error. Is this intended for eu and na players?

AoE. People too often confuse stealth for invulnerability. Always have at least one weapon with a ground target or cone AoE effect, aim it vaguely in the direction of the thief, and go to town. swing wild with your auto-attack too, even if you can’t see them, you can hit them. You won’t see damage numbers but they do take damage.

Most likely because it takes 3 seconds for the theif to actually appear when coming out of stealth

Lol I do this path daily with pugs and you dont need all you’re just limiting yourself to potentially good players
