This is ridiculous. 3 days after release I beat this zone with no problems the skill challenge wasnt bugged at the time. I made a new character hoping by the time I level through higher level content all the stuff would be fixed. I went through many zones and many stuff were still not fixed and there is a 10page thread about this and it still isn’t fixed but they decided to only fix some of the skill challenges
Many zones such as fireheart/orr zones have glitched skill challenges you either ahve to get lucky by being the first to do it after a reset or transfer to another server
There are 2 skill challenges in Fireheart rises 1 at liberation dell and the other at Burnt Hollow. There are no npcs there. Anyone else experience this? Also does a server transfer solve this issue?
It gets worse as you progress namely the final boss who is a joke. Namely what he does when he attacks a certain ship makes no sense. I won’t go into much detail cause I don’t want to spoil it
It’s not only the 70-80 zones. Iron marches is probably the most bugged zone. 3/4 of the escort quests don’t function properly and there are the usual other events that go haywire
Meh I don’t even bother with it anymore use to do it to get siege weapons. Now there are guildies/parties people form for easy camping in it. Only way to do it is log in during off hours
How is it possible for someone at level 8 to have trouble with the personal story;/ Only issues i’ve had were bugs. There are repair costs for armor to counter inflation. I have a level 80(mesmer), 52(engy), 66 (thief)and never had issues with the personal story being hard you can’t just facroll your keyboard most of the time.
What? Even this is mainstream? And I was thinking that they sent me to help The Vigil because I had chosen The Vigil.. Who did these late missions in the Personal Story? What a lack of inspiration..

I am doing the level 64 personal story where you have to help the vigil escort supplies in mount maelstrom. Is this quest only for vigil players? Or does everyone have to do it? I’m wondering cause i’m with the order of whispers
The probably with Orr is everyone who is lvl80 is forced to play their, there is no other choice so if like me you don’t feel inspired playing in some gloom & doom final zone over and over what will you do? Surely they could of had different themed lvl80 content, surely.. and it has nothing to do racing to lvl80, at some point everyone will be faced with the same issue. If it’s to your fancy fine, personally it has put me off the game which is a real shame seeing what could of been.
Considering the main focus of the campaign seemed to be Zhaitan where did you expect the final zones to be in rainbow village? It was a sunken city that was risen by an undead dragon to be used as a factory for undead.
Why would you downclock? If your getting Bsod’s/freezing then you’ve got an issue with your pc that needs proper troubleshooting so the real issue can be identified.
Downclocking will only reduce the performance of your pc even further.
It worked for me and many others when I had the bsod issue. It was solved by underclocking by 20%. The GPU drivers obviously weren’t optimized properly
Listen here. I run this game on my old GT9800 card which is 9 years old with NO freezes/blackouts. I read that rewiev you linked, and I have also read other rewievs, and what you are saying doesnt make sense.This card should be more than enough to handle gw2, on most settings.
Fact is the 630 is a repackaged 440. You can scream about it being new all you want, but it doesn’t change it’s not better than “older” cards. I went from a 460 to your very card and took it back to the store because I had worse —- repeat WORSE performance and went back to the 460. And the guy asked why I was bringing it back, I told him it was just to replace a working 460 and he said “Oh, that was a downgrade. Let me get your money for you.”
I did a clean install of this build last week, and the only issue I ran into is transparent geometry every so often. Seemed pretty random, no idea what caused the problem.
I rolled back to the latest WHQL certified drivers and this reduced the problem greatly.
It won’;t let me quote for some reason. Anyway I had that transparent issue I noticed it in black citadel. I disabled the ambient feature and it went away this was witht he beta drivers
I have around 14 gold and wondering what is a reasonable size bag slot. I plan on buying 4 so I want them to be reasonably priced. I was thinking 15 slots? Opinions?
Okay the cannon that gets you to the top of the tall strcuture for the vista in dissea is disabled.“The content has been temporarily disabled. Please try again later”
Why is this disabled? It was working perfectly fine when I did it on my previous characters
I was doing the assist siesto headsplitter with his work heart and had the gernade kit equipped killing some drake hatchlings and on the last kill to complete the heart I got a hero’s band. This is obviously a bug because I thought these were only available through dde/ce?
I want the FoV changed also because half my time is spent spinning the camera… They could have easily changed it by now i’m guessing they haven’t because of pvp;/
I agree with the Norn females they’re pretty much taller humans apart from the cultural aspect. I think the reason they didn’t add many options in the character creator was probably because down the line they want to add a cosmetic feature in the cash shop whichh = profit for them
This is something we want to fix as soon as possible. Thanks for bringing it some attention. If it was simple we would have done it already, but we are working on it.

I thought this issue was addressed? I’m still getting the bug where if your party tries to enter and instance it splits the party up wasn’t this fixed?
I don’t know what causes this bug it might be alt-tabbing. Anyway when I tab back in I won’t be able to left click npcs/enemies to target them. I will have to restart the client for it to function properly
i donno, i think if you miss a drop then thats your fault
personally i like the realism that comes with this game, if somthing drops and you want it, pick it up, if you dont see it at first, oh well get your vision checked.
Was wondering if it’s possible for anet to just make it so you don’t have to press F to loot bags of loot in WvW? In WvW you’re always moving and fighting bags drops don’t work too good because as I said you’re always moving. So I suggest a feature where when you kill a player/assist that the loot goes straigth to your inventory if there is space and if there isn’t then it should drop at your feet
I’ve done a lot of dungeons seeing as i’ve been 80 for quite sometime now. Every now and then I will get party members that tell the warrior/guardian to go tank the boss. I instantly face palm. Also it seems most groups prefer having specific professions such as guardians not shocked there
If you are chatting privately with a player and that player reports you, and you are found to be in violation of the Rules of Conduct, then that investigation and the results will take place in accordance with our policies.
So in the example given of someone having a private discussion with their girlfriend: if their girlfriend reports them to Customer Support, then yes—there would be consequences if the person is found to be in breach of the Rules of Conduct.
The same applies to guild chat. If you’re talking in your guild and a guild member reports you, there would be consequences if you’re found to be in breach of the Rules of Conduct.
Wow that’s kind of overboard with guild chat. I’m pretty sure leaders of guilds are capable of handling this on their own
Downclock your card by 10-20% and you’ll be able to play just fine. Just a temporary fix until nVidia gets their act together, but it’s been working since the problem first appeared in closed beta.
The big thing to keep in mind here is that this game is new and the drivers are (frequently) not yet optimized for the game.
I tried to download your BSO dump to read it, but the link does not work. That being said, if you are familiar with under/overclocking, try lowering the voltage of your card. It is the most effective way to lower the temperature of your card without sacrificing performance.
I know you listed temperatures in your post, but the temps you have listed are rather low. Did you mean C instead of F? (I ask because you posted 70F for CPU, which is about 10 C. I’m used to seeing a CPU run no lower than 30 C.)

Sorry to harp on temperature, but without the optimized drivers for this game the card can run warmer and have higher usage %’s than what you are used to seeing in other games.
The temps are in Celsius it was a mistake and I think you’re confusing my gpu temps and cpu cause I didnt’ say my cpu was running at 70. Since there was a misunderstanding about the temps I see no point of lowering the voltage when I already just underclock my gpu as a temporary solution
