Does any testing at all go into the changes anet makes? I log in today download the patch berserker dmg still isn’t fixed and now ontop of that it sits there for 2 seconds before attacking
If you do a run before the reset and do 1 after you won’t get 60shards its their DR system… Happened to me before

Because no mater how you look at it the way the grubs spawn from Lupicus in that fight is bugged and need a serious look at.
They should NEVER spawn from Necros horror trait “that cant be change less making that build useless” or like wise ranger pets and Mesmer clone should NEVER!!! spawn grubs this just make other play resent these class and refuse to take them in a party if this is not a bug i don’t know what is.The red circles on the ground also sometime bug out damaging you even when not inside them of better still going invisible so you cant see them on the ground oh then add the fact the Lupicus will AOE spam one target to dust not once changing target to attack someone else until that player is dead having to run back from the 2 mile hike way point!
(This way point is far to far away it take two minutes all most to get back with my Necro run boost which i have 2 of BTW “spectral wall and locust swarm”)
The only thing I agree with is him attacking only 1 player(it is still doable). I play a mesmer all I do is change traits and take ranged illusions for phase 1 you should learn how to adapt to fights. The aoe hits you because it bounces if you hadn’t noticed. Also in your earlier post you exaggerate where you say you are required a specific class you can do this fight with any class seems you’re just looking for excuses
Path 2 the first boss will bug out if the asura npc isn’t following your group making the first boss unattackable. Path 4 giganticus seems to bug out(doesn’t wake up and become attackable) if you enter his room when randall is dead not 100% sure
Path 2 the part with the powersuit and guns that energize the suit. There is an object that attracts all the spiders/abominations by the waypoint it doesn’t seem to attract them all the time and they will chase the player until he/she goes invis or dies
Path 4 bloodstone shard doesn’t become attackable randall does not interact with the shard triggering the cutscene not sure what causes this
Path 2 Alphard doesn’t spin when meeled. When alphard teleports to the middle he takes time before he starts spinning and shooting lightning bolts everywhere. If you melee him as soon as he teleports he will keep getting pushed back causing him not to do his spin attack not sure if this is intended.
Path 4 sometimes when pulling simin out of her room she won’t attack cast the lightning aoe/petrify/invis she will just stand there and you can take her down to 0% not sure what triggers this
Path 1 the part where you have to fight champions in the green light. As a mesmer it seems your clones will always do 0 dmg even if they’re in the light. I need to do this path again to confirm
Path 2 final boss mesmer illusions do 0 damage as they aren’t phased.
Path 3 first boss with the hunter/crusher you can stand on a spiky ball and the crusher won’t be able to attack so you can range down the hunter
All of the veteran abominations in Arah are broken they do not generate fury nor are they unstoppable
There is also an exploit where you can go straight to giganticus it only works for path 3 because the other paths you have to follow the event chain. There is also another jumping exploit by the lanterns for path 3/4 the ones you need to take the item from the lantern and put it into the empty lantern to open the door. There is a place you can climb to skip mobs I can PM it to you if you want

If you had to fight Bjarl every time in every path, that might get elevated to a bigger issue worthy of an emergency patch since it blocked an entire dungeon.
Let’s apply this same logic to the gates of arah hmm?
+2% crit damage is +.02 damage modifier on a crit. Formula:
Expected damage = Base damage * (1 + (0.50 + (Critical Damage / 100)) * Critical Chance)
Let’s use a nice round 1000 as your base damage, 50 critical damage and 70% critical hit chance.
Expected damage = 1000 * (2.02 * 70) = 141400
Compared to, without the 2% critical damage:
Expected damage = 1000 * (2 * 70) = 140000
You’re getting a 0.99% damage increase. Almost 1%… almost…
Ya but the figure you chose for base damage is very low and every bit counts especially in a game like gw where they wanted to differentiate themselves from traditional mmos but failed to do so by introducing a gear treadmill. Oh and you also forgot we were talking about 1 item there are other items such as 2 rings/back/etc

Is there a way to autoattack so that the first attack keeps attacking and all I have to do is aim? My fingers get tired of smashing the 1st button;/
To be honest, i wonder how many of those crying ‘Arah bugged! fix!’ can identify what is bugged in the chain. Not just ‘NPCs won’t start’ or something, but can you actually point your finger at the NPC that blocks progression? Can you name any specific bug that’s there?
It might, you know, help ANet to fix it.
The event gets stuck at the strategizing at caer brier or The Pact are preparing to establish a forward base
It might you know help if anet actually investigated bug requests that have been sent/plagued the game since release? Might want to open your eyes and get off your high horse if you really believe since release players haven’t submitted detailed bug reports on this issue

They aren’t that small +2% crit dmg is huge for 1 ring

Just a tip so it doesn’t bug out on you. Before you fight the final boss see who the npc is following and have that player stay away from the bosses room so she doesn’t die and the gate glitches
That doesn’t always work. If the NPC is too far away she will simply teleport into the area where you fought the boss and walk straight into the fire. On the other hand, if she’s just outside the area she will also run into the fire. It’s a really meh situation and it pretty much requires you to be able to glitch through the gates.
Another thing I should mention is that the tar boss on p1 is bugged as well. The covered in tar debuff that´s supposed to temporarily disable your skills is now permanent. When the debuff expires your abilities will still be disabled. The only thing that gets them back is closing your client and re-logging.
Well I never had that happen by the time she telelports the flame is gone
Well that sucks now I have to grind for better stats. So what exactly is the point of doing other dungeons now since fractals gives better gear?

If you’re talking about the Agony resistance, there is no Agony in other dungeons (yet?), so it won’t affect it at all besides the other increased stats over exotics.
No i am not as you can see ascended trinkets have higher stats than exotics

Like the other poster said there are probably no models for the other races such as charr cultural having a completely different model than a human/norn. I doubt they will change this it just doesn’t make sense to make “cultural” for all races
Illusions/clones are support they give bosses extra targets to waste attacks on(such as the jade boss in fractals) what more do you want?

So from what I understand the extra stats from ascended only work in fractals correct(correct me if im wrong)? How exactly does the stat reduction work when going into a dungeon like arah? There are also new stat combinations with ascended gear how does the reduction work for this gear?
This bug has been in the game since release and its very frustrating. I haven’t heard anet comment on it so i’m guessing it isn’t on their priority list to fix. This isn’t the only event that requires you to pick stuff up. I also noticed even if i’m not attacking at the sametime while trying to pickup a crystal it still happens

After I do a run and play with someone who can listen and doesn’t have tunnel vision I usually add them to friends for future runs
Press skill 5 when u are moa’d. You can tell the mes is casting it cause it has like 2 second cast time so just los or dodge and it will make the spell go on cooldown

Simple fix cut out the event and leave the gates open 24/7 until anet fixes it which seems very difficult for them to fix. It’s mind boggling how this bug has been there since release and has not been fixed

IIRC condition/prec/toughness gear exists in exotic tier, you can get it from the orr god statue merchants, one piece at each.
Did you even bother to read my post? I was talking about trinkets does anyone on this forum read before posting or do they just read the first line?
Just a wild guess, but I think it has something to do with motivating you to get the new gear. That would be my hypothesis. I mean, if everything was the same why would you bother?
What I mean is ascended gear has higher stats than exotic right? I was wondering why couldn’t they just put the stat variation i referred to earlier but on par with what exotic stats have?
I wanted to stick with my exotic because I didn’t plan on doing much fractals but what I don’t understand looking at the trinkets for ascended gear it seems there are more stat combinations available which weren’t for exotics such as when I wanted to get cond/prec/tough trinkets but they weren’t available now it seems these stats are available but only for ascended gear why is this?
Yes guilds or a lot of the enemies usually build siege etc and camp.
I just find it odd that they would rather camp a side feature of the WvW map than winning the WvW match, the main objective of the map.
Then again, I was told it is just from a particular server, so I guess it is their thing.

I only did the fractals enough to play experience them once each. I refuse to grind for stats. I would have preferred if they left out the ascended gear and just kept the exotics while still increasing the difficulty of the dungeon but not requiring better gear for higher difficulties
This can be done easily by bringing a mesmer it shouldn’t be a requirement though placing a portal can save your team a lot of time depending on how experienced they are

He’s talking about the 1 from the northern waypoint guarded by a berserker and illusionist… Anet has no intention of fixing arah it’s been buggy since release and I havent seen much done. I don’t mind that the gate doesn’t open cause my party doesn’t wipe but it can be troublesome for pugs
Well, people already got precursors before the event if they were lucky, so what’s exactly the point?
The point is that people can go out and farm dungeons, chests, and all other in game places that precursors drop any time they want. This event was a 1 time thing. A fair chance was not given to every customer of the game. No, you cant make everyone happy, but there are alot of other ways you can run an event so that maximum participation can be achieved.
You fail to realise the % change between the chest dropping a precursor and going out and farming

Just admit you are mad because you happened to BE THERE when others got lucky instead of just seeing the after effects. Jealousy is an ugly thing.
How exactly am I mad I didn’t get a precursor? As I stated before if you bothered to read my post I said I am dis-satisfied with the direction anet is taking their game i’ve made over 200g and have no intention of making a legendary.

I think the drop rate for precursors was way too high it looks like it was around 10-20% I wouldn’t mind if only a few people got them. A lot of my friends got them and sold them for 180-220g. That amount is massive to give away from something like this especially if you’re a casual player with intentions of making a legendary that shaves off months of work. I myself am not making a precursor and have amassed over 200g since the game was released just that I don’t like the direction anet is taking this game especially after this event

After I looted the chest from the ancient karka I got kicked from the game and keep getting the game client isn’t able to access login servers. Anyone else experiencing this?
The chest despawns after a certain period 2mins? From what i’ve read. I can’t confirm this though

Theres a big chest you get like 3 exotics and 2 rares
you get hit with a 2g repair bill and a bitter taste left in your mouth because of the poor planning
