Any dungeon can be done with any class. Kind of annoyed when I create a group someone goes no guardian?
It’s the difference between the people that have AAA groups with decked out party members using voice claiming bosses are easy vs people who group up with whoever is around.
What were people thinking making a pug party to run a dungeon. Crazy talk I tell you. What were people thinking expecting to run a dungeon in a game without researching it? It’s all crazy talk I tell you.
What happened to all the talk that GW2 isn’t about Raids? Their dungeons seem to be rated at that difficulty level.
If you want 10% of the people to regularly run dungeons so be it. The stuff that drops from dungeons are generally junk anyways and it’s more of a time sink than anything else. Sure the exotics from tokens are great and all, but not much better than karma rewards and you’ll make more money and enjoy your time more through events than dungeons.
Lol is this a joke? I’ve never used a voip to do any dungeons i’ve done arah explorable everytime with a pug. I do request competent players to add me as a friend so in the future we can clear through faster. You also claim that you need to do research when doing a dungeon? Obviously if you look up a boss before hand you will usually do better than bull rushing it. How do you think people come up with strategies they learn from trial and error say when you are fighting giganticus you see that he summons grubs on a player and after a while they run back to him and he eats them and gains a buff so nextime you know how to deal with it. It just seems you’re all kitten off cause you can’t 1 shot every boss. I recommend Hello Kitty Island Adventures

This boss is stupidly easy once you learn mechanics jeez you guys are spoiled and spoon fed everything once you face a challenge you come complain instead of learning how to overcome it. The problem here is that this boss isn’t hard it is that previous bosses and other instance bosses are so basic that when people finally fight a boss where you don’t autoattack and afk out people get hit by a brick wall and don’t know what to do. What is up with all these arah too hard threads lately?

I don’t want them to nerf him and am getting sick of people throwing a fit when they can’t down him. I’m giving positive feedback that they did a great job making this tough end game content boss and showing/helping others having a hard time there is hope! If you don’t like just keep scrolling down.
This is actually 1 of the best designed bosses in the game other than he doesn’t reset properly and everyone is abusing it now by kiting him to waypoints. Anyway they will eventually nerf him cause it seems there is a trend if the majority whine they get what they want. They find it’s easier to come to the forums and complain than actually learn the mechanics
Rofl that boss is stupidly easily. You bascially hide behind the haystacks when he teleports to the middle, dodge his pull bomb drop and kill addds when he spawns them yet you cant handle that simple task sigh. Don’t worry anet will nerf everything so that a baby could do these dungeons.
They honestly need to make previous content more difficult the game is too easy so players get into the mind set of autoattacking everything and going afk then when they actually have to learn mechanics they can’t because they have been conditioned by all this easy content so they get paralyzed from the neck down then proceed to the forums to whine about it instead of seeing what they did wrong

How about just make a system to get them that doesn’t rely on RNG that is actually fun for more than 1% of the games population? Problem solved.
I don’t get why people like this think they need a legendary asap. If there wasnt rng then legendaries would be easily obtainable making them less legendary
They would lose value/bragging rights if everyone could obtain them also you make it sound like someone has a gun to your head forcing you to get a legendary weapon. Casually playing over the months someone can find they are acquiring a decent amount of gold/karma/badges/etc and start investing in a legendary.

If everyone could put in 4 exotics and get a precursor then the prices would drop immensely thus reducing the amount of time to gain a legendary weapon. Also you knew before hand that you aren’t guaranteed the item yet you went ahead with it then get all pissy and come here to moan about it?
I just do daily tier 6 crafting material routes get around 1.5g per character and I do it with 2 characters so thats around 3g around 40mins
It’s bugged not sure why it’s been like that since release you gotta keep refreshing the page hoping the icons pop-up .

Arah is easy except for path 4 becasuse it seems bugged once you get the mechanics down. Seems you keep inviting noobs to your party from what I read you were trying to ress players during a fight thats a big no no. Before you start the fight go through a strategy and explain the bosses functions. You spent 2hrs on a boss? After the first 2 wipes you should have took a step back and asked what am I doing wrong and how can I prevent us from wiping? You should have then tabbed out and checked some tips/guides on google about the boss you are having difficulty with then came back and apply that knowledge instead of wasting 2hrs making the same mistakes. I have pugged this boss over 20x you just have to step up and lead your group instead of having everyone autoattack everything and expect to win

Arah armor set is not better look than other dungeon armor set. (For me, don’t like Arah armor skin but weapons is cool)
Well that is subjective let me guess you like CoF armor which everyone got easily because of the exploits?
Mesmers shine in enemies that have huge health pools such as bosses. Their illusions can save a player because the boss might use an attack on the illusion and since boss fights are long you can usually have 3 illusions up throughout most of the fight. You can also portal/invis past groups saving time. Autoattacking with staff gives a random buff to allies. They have survivability with decoy/blink don’t know how you came to the conclusion mesmers are the worst class? Maybe you thought you could just autoattack everything?
I think the combat needs less spamming of 1,1,1,1,1 and a lot more things like stuns, fears, etc that are longer…right now…it just seems very zergy in PvP especially. Melee is very much all over the place…I think Range definitely has an advantage in this game.
Yes lets increase/add more disables so that pvp becomes a stunlock/fear chain fest

The boss isn’t supposed to be kiteable anet didn’t test their dungeons and as a result he doesn’t reset properly
Boss isn’t hard people just like to complain ebcause they don’t like learning mechanics. I hope anet fixes this boss so people can’t kite him anymore
Jotun Path never had a waypoint close to giganticus it’s like a 2minute walk back. Anet’s priorities obviously aren’t fixing this dungeon such as giganticus being kitable and path 4 dwayna bugs i’m guessing it has to do with it being 1 of the lesser played dungeons
For a crit build I’d definitely recommend either lightning or blood.
How much is the heal for the blood sigil?
Bump also does the +5% critical sigil stack?

They had this feature in gw1 where some skills worked different or just had different figures based on pvp for balance purposes. Why doesn’t the system in gw2 work like this?
They put those puzzles in WvW for a reason if they didn’t want players kill each other there they could have placed it in the normal world
Yes this effects any chance of this game becoming an e-sport. It’s obviously easier to see what kind of spell a norn is casting over an asura based on hand movements etc.
I suggested this a month ago it got shot down because it broke peoples immersion and wasn’t logical. In wvw it can get hectic most of the time you’re moving and in the middle of a fight you don’t want to keep spamming the F button to make sure you get every loot possible. Also here is an example say you tagged an opponent earlier and went to chase down his ally the first enemy you tagged gets killed by your ally and a bag drops while you’re jumping down a structure now you have to go all the way back to get the loot bag-.-

I had that problem the other day, although I didn’t sit there waiting for hours…
Last time I went there it worked, though, so I don’t know what caused the issue.
It was an exaggeration longest I waited was around 5mins whreas my normal load time is 5seconds
Seems sometimes when I try go into the jumping puzzle in eternal the game will just stay at the loading screen with the little circle at the bottom right for hrs

I am looking for some advice on which sigils I should go with on my shortbow/daggers/pistols/sword I mainly do dungeons and wvw. I was thinking superior fire for the shortbow and might on a dagger and lightning on another?
I pugged it at first took around 2 hrs for warden path now I do it in 1hr with people I added to friends to do it

I read guild chat and someone mentioned that WvW queues aren’t ordered but are random? Is this true?
Half the time i summon warlocks they seem to charge right up close to the enemy or go at 600 range. Why is this why can’t they attack at 1200 range? Also the enemy i am attacking isn’t obstrcuted etc.
I’ve been reporting these bots and they have been here for a couple of days now on crystal desert just east of shelter’s gate in cursed shore. It’s obvious they’re bots they keep running in the same circle waiting for mobs to spawn
I made a map after the patch on oct 1st as I usually do because node locations change. Now today it seems they changed the locations of nodes again. I thought nodes were only changed after a patch? Also have they increase rspwn the time on the tier6 ore?
So pvp doesn’t interest you because you can’t beatdown players with crappy armor?
Yes they are everyone is transferring to the winning side cause let’s face it winning is more fun than losing and being spawn camped. This leaves the weaker sides being out numbered heavily and further stacking the stronger side especially during off hours where the weaker side will barely have any players. I honestly don’t know why server transfers aren’t locked yet they are just ruining WvW in the long run. I’m on Crystal Desert and noticed over the past couple weeks that the # of players playing WvW on our server has reduced substantially to the point there is no queue anymore.
What are you left with a server that has a huge amount of players and large queue times and the weaker servers with barely any players. I don’t even really bother to queue up for WvW anymore because once the winning side gets momentum like 3 orbs and owns 80% of the map you can’t do much with like 30 players facing a full load. I’m disappointed because anet is just sitting back and hasn’t posted anything about this

Anet neets to lock server transfers at least for WvW they’re damaging WvW in the long run keeping them up so long

Hey, so since the patch this boss seems to reset a lot in phase 2 after like 3 seconds if he isn’t being attack he will reset to full hp. It’s annoying because he does that big aoe attack and of course everyone has to fall back until it’s finished meaning we can’t attack him during this time. Is this a bug?
As a thief I feel un-targeted Heartseeker spam is the fastest. For some reason it feel like Inf Arrow puts me in “combat speed”. Just my observation though. Either way, thief is king of mobility.
I use to use heartseeker to move around but you don’t really have full control of where you’re going sometimes it will bug out and my character will turn 360 and i didn’t turn him or have a target and yes I do not have auto targetting enabled so now i stick to infil
We are obviously outnumbered there aren’t even any queues to get into eternal everyone gets discouraged and jsut transfers server while anet sits back and laughs. I hate to be the rat that jumps ship but this is getting out of control
Everyone is taking advantage of the 24hr period to transfer to the winning side. What this does is reduce the number of players on the losing side and further stacking the winning side. At least put a longer lockout period specifically for WvW. This is quite ridiculous how many months will it take to introduce the paid transfers or make it specific for pve
I did a dungeon a couple hours before the patch. If i do the same path will i get 60 tokens or diminishing?
My cluster bombs crit between 5-7k depending on the circumstances i’m full exotics berserker
