Oh hey sorry for the late reply. Thank you for the help, the warrior I was talking about was a Charr.
Was facing a Sword/Shield & Longbow condition Warr 1v1, and he gave me 12 stacks of confusion… I need answers now… want to try this XD
Ok thank you so much
So lets say I do a level 20 Fractal with my Warrior who has a Personal Reward level of one. At the end can I switch to my other profession that has a Personal Reward Level of 20… Can I get the full reward (Pristine Fractal Relic, Fractal Relics and chances of ascended items)?
No I’m talking about the first boss in Arah Path 2 not starting.
I’m talking about the first Asura boss in Arah Path 2. This has happened to me once a few days ago and twice today. Does it have something to do with killing a veteran silver mob?
Why do the majority of people run Arah path 3 more than Arah path 1 or 2 when Arah path 1 or 2 gives 3g and Arah Path 3 only gives 1.5g? I see spams of Arah path 3 groups in gw2lfg.com and barely any Arah Path 1 or 2 groups.
21 Precision is 1% crit chance I’ve been told.
Looking for the same dye as cultural flame weapons
I mostly WvW. Thank you guys for your input.
For WvW, which is better? Healing Surge or Healing Signet? I’ve noticed that I die much easier with Healing Surge than Healing Signet, am I doing something wrong?
Which is better for a Sword/Shield + Longbow Power Warrior? 0/30/20/0/20 or 0/20/20/0/30?
Lame…
So if I do CoF Path 1 and then do CoF path 2, I’ll still only get 20 tokens?
So just now I did CoF path 1 twice on my character the first time I got 60 tokens for daily and I didn’t get the usual 20 tokens on my second time.
1. So is it now harder to accumulate tokens?
2. If dungeons are account bound does that mean if I do CoF path 1 on a second character I won’t get the usual 60 tokens like before?
1. Cleansing Ire. Do I need to hit the opponent to cure the conditions?
2. I’m running a 0/20/20/0/30 GS + Rifle build and I have no access to vigor or endurance regeneration unless I use Signet of Stamina, should I use Superior Sigil of Energy on both my weapons?
I honestly love the OP’s music haha. Was nice to listen to the music and watch the video
Oooh sweet. Tyvm
I remember months ago I simply did Caudecus’s Manor dungeon runs for Rabid Armor, but now I notice that not a lot of people run Caudecus’s Manor now. When I check gw2lfg.com where most of the players look for a dungeon group, there’s like a 30 minute in between time for each Caudecus’s Manor post.
ITT: Necromancers saying they can’t really bunker and non-Necromancers saying Necromancers can bunker… hmm…
How are Warriors underwater?
Okay, thank you
So lately I’ve noticed a lot of people switching alts at the last boss when the boss is at 15% and below at path 1. I’ve had on multiple occasions of 2 people switching to an alt at final boss without any warning beforehand. What would be the best strategy if 2 people leave at final boss to go on their alt? Should 1 person take out the crystals while the other 2 dps boss? Does this work also for parties with poor dps?
Ok thank you for helping me
Ya I know, I’m asking what’s the 2nd fastest dungeon after CoF P1?
I’ve heard that CoF P1 is the fastest since you can do it under 15 minutes, so what dungeon and path is the 2nd fastest?
Anyways… For the Spectral Armor and Spectral Walk changes, I feel like they were unnecessary as well.
However, there is an inherent flaw in Death Shroud. By being a second life bar, it is either too little for multiple enemies, or it is too much for one. There simply cannot be a middle ground on this. (Thanks to BloodRedArachnid for pointing this out so succinctly recently). The end result is that we have a very heavy AoE class that is ironically far better suited to facing one opponent over many. This just doesn’t fit.
Now they have increased the amount of life force gain from Spectral skills, but they have implemented an inherent 1-sec cooldown. This makes us even more tankier for 1v1 situations and squishier for 1vX situations. However, the issue many people have with Death Shroud is that it provides too much HP for 1v1 and not enough survivabilty to compensate for no blocking/evades/stealth/teleport for 1vX.
If you want to escape, you can grab Spectral Wall and Spectral Walk. They both help you in legging it. I don’t believe DS is meant to be an escape tool of any sort.
You’re funny haha.
Could put those last 10 points into Soul Reaping for Foot in the grave (3 second Stability) which is nice for PvE/PvP and you get 10% more Life Force.
Or you could also the superior 30/20/0/0/20 Fearmancer build with burning, very strong atm.

Oh no I can’t use Deathshroud as an invincible shield anymore? I have to use the Skill as intended and can’t abuse it? Ooh Nooo!
You should roll a character because it’s mechanic fits your play style not because it is the broken prof of the week.
I have 1,900 hours logged on my necromancer. Come back when you have something worthwhile to contribute.
Come back when your post contributes more than mine.
How did your post contribute? DS is an invincible shield?
@Vlad
Can we see one with 2-3 people bursting you since that’s how it usually is in pvp
I need to vent ‘cause this is sort of bugging me… I was waiting patiently for this patch, whenever I got 2 or 3 vs. 1’d in WvW with a small chance of escaping other than my Flesh Worm, I would say to myself “It’s ok, Anet said our defense and survivability is going to get buffed soon”. Well kitten me for thinking Anet would actually come through…
I was a 30/0/10/0/30 or 0/20/20/0/30 Powermancer and a 30/10/0/0/30 Hybridmancer. I wasn’t doing as well as I would on my Thief or Mesmer, but I had fun… But for now I’m just gonna hang up my Necromancer and play my Mesmer or Thief and enjoy killing any and every Necromancer I see…
Torment?
Rework of Jug?!
Rush/Bull?!?
Healing Buffs?!?!?!
Apparently I’ve been sucked into parallel dimension where ANet actually <3’s warriors!
We care about all professions. =)
Explain Necromancers please and please post at Necromancer forums…
“Spectral Armor: Incoming hits now grant 8% life force; has a 1-second internal cooldown.
Spectral Walk: Incoming hits now grant 2% life force; has a 1-second internal cooldown. This spectral skill now grants life force while Spectral Armor is active."
This better give me like 50% life force 4fs
Lich form is all fun and games until you meet a Thief or Mesmer who simply kites you around and waits for Lich Form to end. Or any profession that can simply remove your stability.
They changed Dhuumfire into something like:
100% chance to inflict (Chill effect) for 4 seconds on critical hits. This effect can only trigger once every 10 seconds. Chill deals damage.

Thanks for another great video Nemesis. Just wondering, will you be replacing your armour with Celestial once it’s available?
This is the only footage I can find and its a great one…mid way Staff/Axe+Focus
I guess I was proven wrong haha.
(edited by Rok.5260)
I’d say you’ll do Ok-ish in PvE but I believe you won’t succeed much in WvW Roaming 1v1. But you can try though, I might be wrong.
I’ve noticed that there’s not a lot of WvW Necromancer videos compared to other professions.
I don’t see a lot of Axe + Focus/Staff users in PvE or in PvP, but assuming you’re full Berserker and you’re very adamant with Axe+Focus/Staff, I’d say you’ll do ok in PvE (Don’t know about WvW/Roaming/1v1 though, but I’d assume poorly).
Vampiric is just not worth it. In WvW you’ll be better off with maybe Soldiers,Valk, or Berserker Armour and Weapons with Cavalier/Knight accessories and use a 30/x/x/x/30 or x/20/x/x/30 build as a Powermancer (Just drop the last 10 or 20 points wherever you desire).
Use Spectral Walk and Spectral Armour for LF Regeneration.

Do Mesmers use Rampager Gear? If so, what builds?
While Solo Roaming and I happen to come across a group fight between my server and an opposing server, I tend to go for the Mesmer first. A berserker Mesmer is just strong in group fights and if they are just sitting back and doing whatever they want, then it could mean a lost to your group.
Just want to add some more to what Craptrain said…
Power Necromancers mainly wear Berserker, PVT, or Valkyrie I believe, Rampager gear in my honest opinion is just not worth it as a Powermancer. You’ll find Power Necromancers and Zerker Mesmers to be sort of different as you won’t have as much breathing room as a Necromancer as you would as a Zerker Mesmer with the invisibility, clones, teleports, vigor, and evades.
Like Craptrain mentioned, 10 points into Death Magic for II: Greater Marks is a must if you’re using a Staff (Unless you’re very good at aiming lol). However I would say Dagger/Dagger is fine if you wish to use it, with the new buff to weakness, blind not going away now when your opponent spams auto attack away from you, and transferring 3 conditions every 18 seconds is nice.
I recommend Berserker Armour and Weapons with a mix of Knights and Cavalier, back, accessories, amulet, and rings.
“Chill of Death: Casts Spinal Shivers on a foe when they hit 25% health. This effect can trigger only every 20 seconds.”
It would be nice if it also allows you to casts Spinal Shivers instantly on your opponent.
Ya Idk what you said Softspoken, but Close to Death it is O_O
But I’m sure lots of people did haha.
Thanks to all for the help
Thanks for the information guys, been really helpful to me
At a dungeon atm, gimme a few minutes to answer you…
All right tested it with 6 River Drakes at WvW unbuffed, 3 with Dhuumfire and 3 with Close to Death with just Dagger 1 Auto Attack. (I’m a D/X + Staff Powermancer)
Dhuumfire:
River Drake 1: 9.75 Seconds
River Drake 2: 9.55 Seconds
River Drake 3: 9.20 Seconds
Highest Dagger Hit: 1976 Critical with Dagger
Close to Death:
River Drake 1: 8.77 Seconds
River Drake 2: 11.67 Seconds
River Drake 3: 10.34 Seconds
Highest Dagger Hit: 2497
This was unbuffed and Strength of Undeath (5% more damage if you have more than 50% Life Force). I had to wait in between Drakes for Jagged Horror to die.
