I think it should be like this or some trait, cause after patch without elemental attunement swiftness uptime will be very low unless you take zephyr boon, what locks you in air traitline and nullify the build diversity (personally i’d like to go for fire traitline). Imo it is biggest nerf from ele attunement – no swiftness, what means kite to death.

They should at least give it in adept arcana traitline, I would take it instead of renewing stamina cause i’ll have vigor from cantrips.

Firstly traitlines won’t give you stats anymore after patch and base stats gonna be adjusted. I play mainly as dd ele in wvw soloroam + pvp and there cele is amazing, but for me i would rather have more power then vitality in this build, but after patch it should change (200-300 vitality from traitline). With cele you can do everything (you wont have top dmg), but i find it very fun to be jack of all trades.

To me it is too early to judge everything and tell this is crap etc, cause most ppl doesn’t know how to play at it, does not have good build for it. Rushing down the lord wont work when you kill bombers, also killing bombers/defending won’t be so easy against competent players who can spike you down. One thing for me should be changed – interrupting channel – once a warrior/whatever starts to channel you won’t be able to stop him cause of stability/endure pain.

I find this map refreshing, with new kind of builds and many strategies to do.

What is mostly annoying with SA traitline, that you can still have hidden killer, executoner and panic strike in such low risk build, now deadly arts gonna be must have (idk why did they change crit strikes traitline)

Nice thing is, that maybe s/d with tricks will make fine build (not as op kitten, but still maybe viable).

Meh I wouldn’t rage so much about it, still you have the elemental contingency and shorter cd of attunement swap (base 10 sec, 8,5 sec with arcana).
Main thing that worries me is (in wvw perspective) lack of swiftness without elemental atunement and zephyr boon (if you dont go into this traitline).
Also I would consider looking at fire traitline, cause burn will stack (also might on cantrips). They also should give something interesting in adept arcane line besides renewing stamina (too much vigor with those changes).

Everything i said was in wvw perspective and yes i know, that there is no balance there, but still you have 5 low cooldown ways to get into stealth, rest you can spam out in immobilise. As for pvp shadow arts won’t be so good, cause no holding points while in stealth, but when stronghold comes and they will add this rune to pvp… You have to walk certain path in order to take down the gate (stronghold) etc, here comes the traps and immortal condispam thieves.
One thing – elite specialisations will come later in HoT, after changing core ones. You tell that every class have hudge buff? I looked into ele and if there’s some kind of buff, it is very small one, cause nerfs (ele attunement nerf, aquatic benevoalence as the minor gm trait).

You remember buff to condi on thieves? It was frustrating seeing condies everywhere.
I myself trolled around with trapper build, it is immortal, but not so deadly. With the new patch though gonna be much more.

With single “specialisation line” you have trait that gives you trap upon using heal skill, which is in this case withdraw on 15 sec cooldown. With trapper rune single skill on 15 sec cooldown will grant 4 second of stealth, 4,5k heal, 4 sec haste, condi reomoveal and so on. Steal reduces recharge of traps by 10 sec, posion has increased dmg, stacks and has increased duration.

With trickery, deadly arts and SA steal will grant stealth (with 1 from pistol 5 stacks of bleed), blind, poison, weakness, 5 stacks of confusion.

From trickery you have also 3 stacks of torment upon interrupt, which u have from basislisk venom and line trap.

Also base benefits from SA and trickery (condi removeal and HoT + initiative regen and initiative with initiative gain on steal). On every trap u got stealth, so you dont have to use your cloack and dagger as much, so with rest initiative you can spam immobilise.

To pair up with dire set – immortality (i would consider rampager or sinister parts for more dmg). For me it looks just broken (SA which is already broken will be broken to oblivion with this blinding power on steal and shadow rejuvation buff with 50% dmg reduction in stealth).

What do you think? I’ve seen also other specialities, but this for me will be much more powerfull and frustrating.

I don’t know why people keep complaining about guards, they got nothing but buffs from this patch yes, but they’re still in the same spot. A 2k heal on Renewed Focus when you trait for meditations is hardly broken as reduced CD. The main features of guardian buffs this patch was Glacial Heart ICD reduction, and Spirit Weapons usability. Spirit Weapons now aren’t required to invest 4 in Zeal just so you can use the command skill (Spirit Weapons used to die if you used the command skills without the trait). Guardian is balanced by the fact you sacrifice for what you want to do. If you want to bunker support you give up alot of offensive power. You want to be offensive you give up a lot of defensive power and group support( by going meditations). They also have glaring weakness of being really slow, kiteable , not having much soft CC, and hard controlling effects. So really i don’t understand how any of the changes really made Guardians over the top.

Lol. Read ppl before telling. There were few posts having guard at the top but also told the meaning of it. Guard is the best support in the game in every aspect of the game, he’s not op. And if guard wants to make dmg, he’s not sacrificing much defence (blocks ,invul, heals, blinds).

As for my list I would make (from pvp/wvw experiance):
1)guardian – you need them to do anything in group
2)warrior – can be specced in different builds (pvp, zerg, roam), all viable (hambow abit op imho and roam too mobile with gs)
3)ele – my main (u see i’m not telling it is weak) – simmilar to guard (all game modes), best aoe dpser, nice support, decent roamer
4)engi – one man army, turrets…
5)thief – stealth, easymode roamer (idk if still good in pvp after nerfs)
6)mesmer – decent roamer, few useful utilities, most annoyinig class ;p
7)ranger – sniper, one trick pony
8)necro – I don’t wanna live anymore class xd, also one trick pony (would give him 6 for pvp)

I few times won 1 vs 4 and yes they were terribly bad, but 1 vs 3 is not that hard if you face zerg builds or mediocore rangers etc (not the roaming party). About killing thief – yes it is hard with this build but I try to provoke them to enagage again without utility – then I am fully stacked and can do lightning flash + burning speed combo for over 10k dmg + fire grasp. They die then. Warriors can only run from me, cause I’ve got sigil of doom to counter their regen. With mesmers I’ve got problems – with pu condi – they are hard to kill. But. Beeing while beeing more offensive I really cannot face more than 1-2 enemies like you said. Also when I roam on ele im taking camps mainly (often killing someone defending it) – killing ppl is effective but not as much as thief. Can I ask on what server do you play? Maybe there is different, but on Gunnars Hold my build works perfectly.

You mean seriously? Change from b2p friendly and competetive game for p2w with grindfest, where you have to pay for longer playing even with subscription (Archage)? I’ll try it but I think it won’t be anything worth bigger time.

Waiting for Everquest next tho.

Edit: Allright I’ve just seen that they undo some p2w changes in archage, so it can be more worth trying. Combat is somewhat weak side to me tho.

Cant really take you serious now if you really think warriors are almost unkillable with zerk ammu, it only looks like unkillable for new people but when knowing warr you shouldnt have a hard time to beat them.

I don’t have problems with beating warriors, but i do have problems with hambow, cause of cc spam. I got hit with one and I’ll get full chain of cc. I say it is almost unkillable for running zerk ammy – you should be way more squishy with that. Hambow brings 2 things at once – great AOE control and dmg – one of it should be nerfed and it did. Also not hitting enemy with eviscinerate was just like another missed attack, cause adrenaline wont drop…

@LordByron – I would accually agree in terms of roaming as a thief – it is very easy (mained thief, now maining ele), because of that i swapped to ele. In other side i disagree with lack of dmg on ele – I use 0/2/2/4/6 full cele build with sigil of doom (sometimes bloodlust) to kill more sustainable targets and it works perfectly well. With this build i can fight and win quite often vs even 3 enemies.

As for balance I would say anet is in good way but way too slow – I mean build diversity (lastly running thief with traps – new rune of trapper and want to build an auramancer with radiance runes).

Sorry, but this patch is 100% accurate. Someone that says no just doesn’t play other classes. For example missing with f1 war can just weapon swap for second burst. Completly rewarding for brainless play. Now you will have to lock enemy to hit him (Oh! why?). And yes I got warrior, played in all modes – in pvp I could so easely dominate in zerk ammy… While beeing almost unkillable. It was good nerf, also for theives (which were my main).

use knight/soldier setup before getting cele (Intigo was running this setup). I prefer to have likely about 30% crit chance (to have 50% with fury) and about 16k health and 2,5k armor is quite optimum. You will lack abit in healing power, but it isn not as important as toughness or stats like power/vitality/prec. If you really wanna be more tanky then get some clerics, but you’ll luck in dmg. Luck in doing everything (literally) as dd ele in wvw!

I would say it deserved little shaving. I’m playing thief (was my main) too and it was so op to just blackpowder everything and stealth spam with great dmg. Before wvw stacks were introduced I as an dd ele could burst down thief with succesful combo, now i can’t. The assassin class should be hard to play with high risk high reward, not blindstealthspaming/icantbekilled thing. I dont know why did they nerfed s/d which was the only skillful build and in wvw really weak comparing to d/p. Thief should gan more acces to removing condies by traits not just from sa. It would make more variety of builds not just stealth and because of that counterstealth builds (ranger, engi). Traitlines: acrobatic is kinda meh without a trickery

as far as the stun break question- runes are still really good even with two traps (short cd) and I’d recommend bringing shadowstep if planing on playing very risky/outnumbered (stealing into large groups). However in most cases I rune 3 traps and run 2/0/0/6/6 with assassin’s equilibrium. I bet 90% of poeople think I’m nuts for not going Sa but I love feline grace especially with with uncatchable trait, and 2s of stability while I’m using my channeled sneak attack has saved me a lot.=, especially with so much stealth access. also between swiftness on dodge, withdraw, infiltrator’s arrow (+vigor on heal if you trait that instead of pain response) you can get around just fine without any + movement speed.

also, never realized how useful ambush thief is, best part is how your thief throw scorpion wire.

Nice idea of it, but what dissapoints me is that in wvw sa is almost obligatory because of condi removal. Anet should add more traits with condicleanse and no stealthy. As for the shadowstep I would agree. Now I run full dire 3 traps with shadowtrap – stunbreaker and nice initiation with it, also teleport is really nice (or 6 sec stealth with 12 stacks of might ^^). It is extremally fun – I can troll enemies like a boss.

While I can’t say I like the fact these skills require channels to activate, I disagree wholeheartedly with the observation they’re worse now than they were before. People seem to forget the fact that the water elemental’s ability is a whopping 7K AoE heal. That’s completely bonkers, even if you have to wait a couple of seconds for it to activate.

Even crazier when you’re on comms with teammates in tpvp and you can call out an on-demand 7k heal for them.

Have to say I haven’t bothered with the other elementals just yet in pvp, but why should you?

Ele has alot of other heals, we dont really need it that much. Try to use that heal tho, it means that this elemental needs to go for enemy hit it with knockback (which it casts) and then use heal. When enemy is not moving it takes 3-4 sec to bring it on – when moving it will propably die first before even try to cast it.

So after changes – what elite is better for human? Hounds or reaper of grenth (I’m using dd ele). Was thinking about reaper, cause perma poison and chill looks nice.

@Cam Ron – yup the stealth can be broken cause of autoatack and even when enemy walks into a trap too fast. It is worth go without any stunbreak on thief? Without a shadowstep you’ll be locked down and die. Tried the fullcondi spec, works even better then hybrid, cause on non-squishy targets it has too little pressure (hybrid one). Also it would be nice if the second minor SA trait would work on trap stealth. And about multitargeting – it usually works on one target.

Was maining the thief too, but now play ele as main for 1,5 year in all game modes (especially wvw). It is most fun to play for me (have 5 chars on 80), cause i do everything at once and it needs quite high skillcap. @LordByron i can agree with thief better at roaming, but warrior? nope. It is just harder with ele to make simmilar dmg (u have to cmake combo). For the mesmer I would say it is nice 1vs1, but in unbalanced fights it dies. To sum up I would say – best roamer – thief. Best taking camp/unbalanced fights roaming – ele and engi.

Yea survi is quite good – little worse than standard dire setup, but i don’t like be so tanky, prefer to exchange it abit for dmg. It is playstyle simmilar to engi/ranger – kiting and condispam. Shortbow for mobility is very important when it goes bad.

Okay i tried it and i must say it is the trollest build I ever made. Works quite well. Running away is most fun part ;p cause if u use trap u gain stealth – 2 initiative. With base 15 i can teleport with bow all day and my enemies just walk into traps xd. Still can quite nice dps especially vs meele class.

Hey I’ve just seen new rune – trapper and I just thought why not to make hybrid thief? New rune imo is perfect for that (more condi oriented). Also thought about full dire, maybe it would be better.

Obviously in place of grenth rune is rune of the trapper (new one) which gives stealth and superspeed after using a trap.

I made some testing – fire ele has about 2k dmg on active with 3/4 sec casttime… Ice ele’s heal nerfed from 6,5k to like 200? Im feeling it dies before doing something. Air ele had instastun – now after cast he makes slow flying orb. Still only air is usable, rest is worse then parrot (from rune).

Yea, I did the testing, thats why i told it is build mainly for small scale wvw where is more space to use ether renewal. Was doing this combo and ride of lightning > shocking aura with AA – waiting for melting dodges and trying to hit me then updraft > fire > earth. I did this build also from curiosity how is working air elemental with that (1 stun per 15 sec – 3 stuns per elite). Also seen someone using signet of earth – it is very powerful now (not for this build tho).

I’m using privateer runes (pirate). For me makes wonders -parrot distracting enemy, 1k dmg, 2k crit, doesn’t reveal position when in fight, tank mobs, attacking with parrot only won’t make you fell in combat. Ah and it finds real mesmer ^^, finally cheap as hell.

Btw anybody considered the skill name? It is rush – I guess it should be gap closer not maker. Rush into poinblank. About subject, I have warrior and ele (maining dd), with war I can fly around laughing, with ele I just pray when initiating for target not to evade. Someone said gs is useless? Try to equip mace mainhand (along with +50%crit on stunned foes) 17k crits welcome. Also ppl tend to use bulls charge making gs perfectly viable.

yes. i got an ele myself, downside to ele is cooldowns. You can burn that RTL, that FGS, that lightning flash. But when you are roaming or moving around expecting trouble, long cooldowns is the LAST thing you want. Therefore the ele ends up further down. because its “speed” comes at a much much greater cost then ANY other profession ahead of it. A ele can only move at “max” speed for 68 seconds before ALL movement buffs are spent. After that it is byebye mobility, not to mention, bye bye combat readiness.

Rocket boots have 20 sec cooldown. It is the only movement skill. Rtl has 20/40 sec cooldown and it is one from 5 dashes avaliable to ele. Thing is when you play ele you have to use your skills with brain, not to be out of cooldowns. Not only with mobility but cc and hard hitting moves. Mist form helps much. For me, I can run away from almost every situation. I have 5 chars and only with ele and war I can run into face of numerous enemy and rum away. You say cooldowns – 4k heal every 10 sec and 6k every 15 with 10 condicleanse is bad? Overall Imo ele and warrior are best around proffesions in the game. Those two can be most mobile, have good sustain and dmg, best classes in pve, core of zergs in wvw, good roamers, good spot in pvp, low limitatiom for warrior in terms of builds. Close to that is also guard, but not good as the roamer cause he lacks mobility.

perma swiftness is not fast, it is just less slow. If you want true “speed” you gotta be playing SWH + GS ranger, SWH + GS warrior, SB thief or Rocketboot engineer. That is FAST builds. Allowing rapid movements over greater distances. Permaswiftness would use at the very least 2 minutes or more then these builds to move from bottom to top of a WvW borderland.
How do i know? Because i ran ranger with perma swiftness and timed it compared to SWH + GS ranger. Now, in terms of sheer speed, its thief, warrior, ranger, engi. In that order. The difference between warrior and ranger is that the warrior will outlast the ranger, but the ranger is faster over a shorter distance. However the ranger will never be fast enough to catch the warrior if not within range to CC. The step down from ranger to engineer is even greater, but the step from engineer down to elementalist (which only got two good movement skills on longer cooldowns) are less of a “drop”. But from ele down to guard, then mesmer, then necro is HUGE.

LOL. Have you ever seen dd ele with fairy gs? (can make 4350 range just from dashes/teleports). In terms of dashes etc in right order it would be: warrior, ele, thief, ranger, engi.

Lol nope. In the middle is standing celestial d/d ele – true jack of all trades. Along with him few warrior mightstacking builds.
2/0/0/6/6 builds aren’t even close to that – condies kill you like hell and unbalanced fights will kill you (if you talk about pvp it is the best indeed, but wvw no). I’m now testing back d/p build in wvw and it makes wonders (didn’t have gold for strength runes, so privateer – this rune is op).

I also want to run s/d so much, but it has much less potential then other stealth builds in wvw ;/. Stealthless sizer build (2/0/0/6/6) works well in some situations (roaming with friend), but die to condies and 1 vs x. 2/0/6/0/6 is what i’m trying, but the hp pool is not as nice and it doesn’t have thst much spike dmg as other stealth builds. Tried 0/2/6/6/0 – no dmg, nice sustain. I want s/d so much, but it is inferior to d/p, d/d, p/d builds.

I dont understand teh ones claiming the meta is condi in WvW. In spvp, i just don’t know.

I roam a lot in wvw with different condi build : warrior, engi et mesmer and right now i am having fun with a pure mesmer shatter dps build (funnier than pu mesmer condi). I dont have any cleanse et it is just working nicely. I rarely meet condi ennemy and if I die, i know it is because i dont have any cleanse. I could have 6 cleanse every 10 s if I want to but i made the choice to get 2 others dps traits.

If power build has been nerfed, there is a reason….. I fear more thief (8500 BS + 5000 HB) than an engi…..

This thread is pointless. Of course, you need to have cleanse to deal with condi build…. Of course you have to get vit and toughness against power. And it is very, very stupid to think avoid condi and avoid power is different ! It is juste the same ! Position, moving, dodging, blind, aegis, block !

An ele with 40% cond reduction duration is unkillable with a condi build.

You could have seen me. You know why i run this food (broken like +condi dur)? Because everyone playes condi (not like u say)… Other thing is remembering that condi builds are tough. I play mainly with ele and can do with condies because of that, but other proffessions – nope. Also I’m playing with condi thief to see difference – and there is. Condi builds are high reward/low risk builds. I can facetank with thief cause of dire set, and kill some enemies in 5 sec, fight multiple enemies and spam to death.

DnD builds vary. So do the type of signets, cantrips,elites,armour,etc.

1v1 against a warr is setup differently to 1v1 to a necro.

1v3 is very hard and 1v2 requires solid skill.

Simply put there are no magic formulas unless u are seeking an ele that
may 1v2 , can and usually 1v1 and easily fight 5vX.

And yes gone are the days when eles could 1v4 to 1v7

Still can, but seek for newbies. Lastly with 2 eles we took a camp defending by 6 players. I sometimes can destroy whole party while defending camp. Fighting 3 vs 12 or so on. I would say there is no magic formula, but skill/cheese of enemy. Other thing is the condimeta, everyone is tanky and spam condies – hard to kill someone in organised group (maybe on thief).

As for the warrior – sigil of doom all the way. I like to abuse their telegraphed bursts and hit/evade with the burning speed while he uses earthshaker. Other then that – pressure him more then he do.

What do you think of this guys, just made it today – hybrid build. It is made for small group roaming (i know – not much mobility, maybe sword mainhand would be better). In theory it can have access to 25 stacks of might, enormous heals and regen. Cond reduction, cleansing ire. Much cond dmg, much direct dmg. Tell me what do you think. (Lol i just realised, that someone made something simmilar in pvp).

Other than your sigils, looks good. Try inteligence/battle on axe set and endurance/(leaching/generousety/doom) on bow set.

Thanks! You’re right, 2 battle sigils is not good option, and forgot how intelligence is scalling on warrior. Energy would be good choise, but for second I think I would stay with bloodlust (maybe doom).

Meh. Ele is mean to be hybrid, cause he couldnt match something like warrior/engi/guard otherwise. But, with those hybrid build he can apply burn every 10 sec and it is one condition. How can you fight with condi classes? I thought it is a weakness to have some condi dmg instead of more power because cleanesing one condition is extremally easy. Btw celestial works that way – it synergies well with might (fun fact that I was using it on my ele since beginning and now ppl say it’s op?). The problem may be with warriors since they were already very strong. Runes of strength and celestial stats made it.

Hello fellow elementalists!

I’m Warmage of Gandara, I play an elementalist for a while now and straight loving it in PvE gameplay!

However I’m more of a PvP / WvW fan than the actual PvE, so I decided to try it out. The result was awkward. At first I died within miliseconds. The reason for it was obvious; I had full berserker gear and my traits were fully damage oriented, mostly specced in Fire or Air.

After experimenting with the build for abit, I still couldn’t get enough survivability out, so I decided to use uncle Google as an easy way out.

It brought me to a defensive PvP build, which was 0/0/0/2/6/6 and Celestial stats.

Obviously the build had me alive for ages; I could tank 2 DPS oriented players for a while without any real difficulties. But then I realised; In all this time I was fighting the two, I barely took half the hp bar away from one of them. And we were fighting for ages, literally.

I don’t think the problem is in my skill, because I used my fire 4 and 3 so I got both of them hit, used fire grab properly aswell. I even managed to get 2 Earth 5 skills landed on the guys.

So I was wondering;

What’s currently a good overall (Decent survival but still good damage) D/D Elementalist build for tPvP and WvW?

Honestly, I rather do some extra damage than be a little bit tankier. I just find no fun in merely “surviving”. I want to kill. >:c

Try full celestial, but with traits in wvw 0/2/2/4/6 (zephyr boon and stone splitters) and use sigil of doom to lower enemies healing. Other thing that if you think that landing 3 and 4 from fire will get you a kill – no (the dps oriented guys yes), but more will give you combos and constatnt pressure. Also well injected conditions will do nice dmg. You can make over 10k burst in 1-2 sec if you land it well (other thing with ele is mightstacking – sometimes is more important to use skill just for blasting fire field then in the enemy). Other thing – dont use earth 5 – it works only on mobs and weak enemies. Autoattack in air – it deals nice dmg. If you tell me what class did you main in pvp/wvw I’ll tell you what mistakes can you make. If you like bursty spec then you can add few zerk pieces, or play fresh air scepter/dagger.

Again: Episodic evidence is not very helpful.

Of course there are certain builds, which are hard to beat. That doesn’t mean conditions as a whole are broken. And I can counter your episodic evidence easily with evidence of the same level of my own: I have no trouble against condition specs on my Power Mesmer.

Episodic? Numbers doesnt count? What you wont call episodic? I have to type all condi builds that are broken because of food? OK. Lastly i encountered a thief who 7 ppl couldnt kill, because of tankiness (i locked him down 3 times myself) and still managed to take one kill before he died.

Also every roamer makes chain immobilise if there is more then one. Almost every condi spec has immobilise – thief can spam likely 6 sec, warrior 10, another mesmer, engi etc, all buffed by condi duration. Fear – 4,5 sec is low? It is an hard CC (with stun you will have only 30% increase by sigil), cond duration works on it… Warrior can hit with new torment before old ended, thief makes caltrops in stealth making constant pressure even invisible. Engi just kites and kill. My point is about the food, maybe gear – in pvp i can deal with condi spec nicely, but here? Yes I can – lemongrass.

2 types of food exist now. I could tell also how lemongrass ridiculusly synergies on warrior making him immunue (maybe not immunue – 98% duration reduction xd) to slow, chill, cripple immobilise. I made build on warrior when i can run circles around the enemy laughing at him, then killing and running more.

Have someone fought with triple shout s/s longbow warrior? With power build he’s almost unkillable (healing from shouts for like 2k and healing signet), but make big condi spikes. Couldnt kill him with anyone (power specced) but ele. Ele with 4 in water, ether renewal and lemongrass – I can laugh of any condi dmg, so literally almost all current builds can do nothing. It is so sad, this meta. Take condi or hard counter condi – only way to play. Worst is not the dmg itself, but cc condies, which from just food get 50% duration, so this warrior on burst skill with sword was making 6 sec immobilise + 4,5 sec from longbow and with shout 4,5 sec fear. Of course add cripples and chills from sigil.

Maps aren’t big enough to warrant anything like this.
The distribution of swiftness across the classes is intended. Some classes are mean to be slow.

Arent big enough? Tried running with guard from one end to another? It would be only swiftness, so nothing gamebreaking, also dash 1 or 2 like many classes have. My point is that all class skills would be locked while mounted. It could give more variety or fun with other classes like mesmer (bound to traveller), necro with his only signet or guard with one dash and bad swiftness uptime. It is only about transport.

I know, the idea of mounts in the game was already mentioned quite much before, but!
Only in wvw – deployed bluprint of some sort of steampunk machine like motorcycle.
It would cost little to build, but easy descructable. It would have special sort of skills like dashes etc and would give perma swiftness. Also getting in and out would take time and could be interrupted (not to make chain dashes form class skills, and counterplay). The idea is to balance roaming classes (warrior has perma 25% movement speed increesed and has multiple dashes, thief stealth, but what have guardian or necro? tankiness?), make roaming and scouting more fun to play (motorcycle gang!). Also zergs run in perma swiftness, bigger groups too, why not solo/few players?

What is your opinions?

I believe you just need more practice, I run s/d 2/0/0/6/6 in wvw and rarely have problems with anyone 1v1, you have a lot more condi cleanse than u realize, take sig of agility + inf strike, and shadow step, use inf strike to remove the more painful condi… learn to evade properly as a lot of condi skills still need to hit you in order to apply said condis… the only time I really have trouble on this build is if im outnumbered. I only have one stealth skill with the build and that is cloak and dagger so when I have more than one focusing on me it tends to get a bit trickey lol

And that’s what i have said. 1 v 1 is nice, had no bigger problems (except condi shout warrior – healing like…..). The problem is unbalanced fights, you cant dodge from 2-3 persons at same time, there comes stealth, but sword with stealth is little bit meh. Sword as a weapon is made to make constant pressure with high dps, but not burst, going into stealth drops pressure of sword. Thinking about it that second weapon set comes in – pistol dagger with sneak attack from distance, thanks to that you still make pressure, but play more defensively. I’ll try that.
