Propsal: Instanced guild halls providing an integrated purpose for existing guild missions.
- Instanced Airships functioning as a staging area for guild missions
Function:
Before your guild starts guild missions, everyone gathers in their guilds instanced airship guildhall (maybe a briefing room on the airship with a mini globe, like the one in order of whispers hideout in bloodtide).
When the mission is activated, everyone in the guild airship instance is transfered to the same instance of the map required for the GM, (The system could search for an existing instance with enough room for all those present, and if one does not exist, create a new instance)
If its puzzle, challenge or rush, they appear around the shield symbol, ropes from the sky swinging around the general area.
If its bounty, players are randomly spread out to waypoints on the same instanced map, again ropes from the sky swinging about the individual players.

Upgrade and kit your Guild airship out with siege, repair crews, medical crews, pilots and the like to ready yourselves to set sail!
Take your guild on an airship journy through the mists to discover new undiscovered lands and dungeons! Explore the mysteries and dangers within as a guild group! Beware enemy guilds also discovering these pockets of reality!
Possibilities for expansion are pretty awesome.

I bet it’s more like 2 or 3. That means that Flying Airship GvG That Everybody Hates Because It’s So Gimmicky And The Other Guild Just Brings Lots Of Knockbacks And Fears Why Did They Not Listen To Us After Skyhammer?!?! I’m Not Buying Gems Ever Again QQ map constitutes a huge wasted opportunity.

We knew that we needed to do more for communication. This has only been even more obvious this week. This has nothing to do with PR and everything to do with doing a better job with the connection with the community.
Regarding CDI there shouldn’t have been such a long break and honestly I saw it very much as a development tool and I didn’t realize how much members of the initiative enjoyed it just from a pure communication perspective. I won’t make that mistake again.
Sorry to hear it is to little to late for you.
Personally I am looking forward to building a better bridge.

While the CDI process is a valuable tool for both sides, its rather long winded and regards too specific an area of the game.
If you want a better bridge, schedule 1 hour a day for someone from each department to reply in their respective sub forums on whatever threads are there. Some of those sub forums need love.
I remember when the game released, the shear amount of dev communication on the forums was a huge plus for Guildwars2 as a game, it surpassed what had been seen for other mmos, you guys were seen as the devs that cared enough to talk to your players.
Not so much the last year or so.
If you decide to gamble, the best advice anyone can ever give you is to choose an amount of gold you are willing to lose and not go over it.
Treating the Mystic forge as anything other than the games biggest gold sink is folly and leads to nothing but rage (anger, not the precursor).
If you come away from the forge upset, you threw in more than you were prepared to give up.
Not bad for a waste product as people are mainly trying hard for Dusk.
You’re creating a legendary, legends don’t “wait” for a certain keep, they join in WvW and help take it.
The legendary craft design is supposed to encompass all areas of the game, I’m of the opinion it should include more, such as some sPvP requirement, not less.
Is there any concerns over insider trading, and do you actively watch for/monitor the in game trading practices of anet staff and sub-contactors?
For example, I wish I’d have known to save my silk and not traded it all away at the zephyrites last time around
I’m sure there is nuggets of information contained on the in house dev build that could affect future markets
Stinvec is correct, I do not reccomend purchasing this product until it is fixed, though from experience, it is consuming a feast off the floor (dirty habit XD) that seems to bug it.
Got mine today, I entered Dry top on a new character and found a coin at position 11 in the Dulfy guide, even tho it wasnt there on my ranger the day before.

You think I really want forge nerfed lol. Was a joke. Sorry, I didn’t realise the forums could only be used to complain about bad luck at the forge, If I had known, I’d have used a more sorrowful soundtrack, perhaps some celine dion.
That howl listing jumped, what? 144g? thats not really a major bump when you are talking the most valuble family of items in the game and it quickly found a lower price soon enough. 144 isnt that much, it just looks worse on that graph because its a high % of the previous cost.
John Smith, the economy guy, has proved time and again that precursors are not manipulated, and are infact bought in batches of one by single people.
Prices of individual precursors differ because us, the players, set their worth.
That is the price we pay for a player driven economy.
Linking precursors to wvw would only encourage the eotm train further, not actual WvW.
Pvp rank is just a meter of time played in pvp. even if you lost every match you played, you’d get those ranks evntually.
As much as everyone hates random, random, by its very nature, is fair to everyone.

Precursors are not unobtainable. There is no Problem.
What makes people think precursor crafting is the answer? Like Anet would destabalise the market by making precursors easier and cheaper than just buying off the tp?
Just add Precursors to the Laurel Vendor; 100 Laurels per Precursor! Seriously, you SHOULD be able to obtain a Precursor OR enough gold to buy one in 100 days anyway, but that’s clearly not the case in Guild Wars 2, as “How do we solve the unobtainable Precursor problem” has been a constant forum topic since October of 2012.
You really think people should get a precursor for logging in for 10 minutes just for dailies for 3 months?
Incinerator comes with (Fire) as part of the damage stats, enemies killed with it die with a flame animation.
From wiki: Attacks cause a cosmetic burst of flame on the target, Enemies killed by Incinerator will display burning death animations.
Bolt has similar effects but lightning, and frostfang with ice.

From the May 20th patch notes:
The Great Jungle Wurm in Caledon Forest no longer does full damage to itself from reflected projectile attacks. A certain number of the projectiles are no longer reflectable.
It sounds like they were trying to reduce the effectiveness of reflects in that particular fight, but failed to realize their change affected all wurms across the whole game.
But the eggs at evolved only started behaving this way after this june 3rd patch…..
I love these and would have bought them directly, got rid of my 250 crafting and gathering boosters and now have 250 magic find or karma boosts
I believe the primer only works for the first food you consume.

Please bring back the tequatl mini set, we’ve had wurm, bazaar and dragon bash sets back, so why not this one?
I’ve seen ppl with mf boost active in spvp, so I don’t think its that.
Also if you lost the food buff entering pvp, and you exited pvp and had 10 hrs remaining of the primer, you should get 10 rs of whatever you ate next, not 30 mins
The metabolic primer is Broken, and therefore should not be for sale as it is faulty goods.
The duration for food eaten on a ranger does not last the full duration of the primer.
At some point, due to either relogging, or instance/pvp entry (I haven’t narrowed this down yet) after the initial food, any food only lasts its own timer and not the primers, no matter whether feast or normal food.
This is only on Ranger that I have found so far, Necro and guardian get full usage of the primers duration even if they switch foods at any point while the timers running.
Many bug reports and forum threads have been submitted/posted over the last six months without any acknowledgement and each and every patchnote since January provides dissapointment on the matter.

Is it known if this was intended for evolved wurm? or just jungle wurm and happened to effect evolved too?
Its taken some element of skill (timed swirling winds to destroy eggs) and replaced it with the need for more numbers and higher dps on mob killing teams.
When 99% of this game is facerolled by dps, removing more varied mechanics is a dissapointing move.
Also the ledge behind crimson wurm that got fixed and became traversable between yellow and blue is now broken and impassable again.
Also when picking up items, the dialogue just says “pick up” now and not “pick up X weapon”

For the Triple Trouble event, I agree.
The recent change has taken a decent mechanic that requires some skill; Using properly timed swirling winds to prevent egg spawnage and replaced it with the need for extra dps teams to destroy the resulting lavae.
The last thing this games events needs is more dps checks, it feels like everything is a spam fest.

The main trick is to neautralise the cripple, centaur runes and lemongrass poultry soup are the best gold you will ever spend if liadri is doing your head in.

Ranged conditions is a pretty foolproof way to do it, you can pretty much go 3/6/5/0/0 full rabid and heal signet and just spam rifle #1 to get the 8 orb achievement without losing any health(see sig).
The main problem with phase 2 is the cripple, lemongrass poultry soup + runes of the centaur pretty much nullify that
I just used rifle #1 in full rabid gear, probably not the most efficient way of doing it, but after the frustration I had last year on my ranger, doing 8 orb liadri this easily on my warrior was a godsend

The team should focus the necro as soon as lich form appears. He’s pretty big and hard to miss in lich form, and also zerk if he’kittenting hard, shouldn’t last too long.
Also Moa morph annoys the hell out of them
