One of the few really good ranger pvp traits and its gone :/
it did look like Dragon Hunter takes everything a ranger can do.. but do it better and with more team utility (still a guardian after all at its core), and without the pet.
autoattack snare on 2 enemies? dmg comparable to power ranger. no pet limitation. just missing 1500 range and projectile velocity ranger gets.
I look forward to seeing how it gets balanced with ranger in mind.
well dragon hunter reworks virtues… so maybe druid will remove the godawful pet
What about Taunt and Stealth?
To break the the taunt you need to AA the jaguar.. which is now cloaked
If thats the case dont you just change cele rings for zerk?
More of an issue in spvp where we dont have that level of stat tweaking with the way amulets are now (ie no jewel).
And no condi stats on power builds.. and vice versa.
Interesting times ahead. Not to mention whatever the druid stuff brings.
But none of the high tier teams regularly run rangers. Its all ele/war/guard/thief.

Trying 02660 with barkskin and SotF currently. Helps a bit with survival. Trying to move away from EB as it just kills my pet most of the time.
Stop telling people how to build non bad warrior’s Flaming. Its better for my quality of life to see terrible 0 toughness 5 signet GS builds on WvW opponents.

Oh you seem to have misplaced a decimal point when it comes to brawn. It should be 30% increase to burst skills damage with full discipline lines, not 3%. You know.. like all the other classes have as their stat weighting for their mechanic stat. 3% is so paltry as to be a serious mistake or a bug.
Oh yeah im sure you can get around just fine. Its just in those rare times you may find yourself hobbling like a madman because your heal is on CD – albeit 2400ft away from anything after your double rush / whirl. Lets just hope you didnt pick up 25 stacks of bleeds on the way
Your model rendering priority in WvW isnt cool guys.

Getting fed up with being smashed by large zergs of enemy players that arent drawn by the engine ( not cloaked! THEY ARE NOT RENDERED!) until after youve died.
Here is the priority you should be utilising:
1) Party Members.
2) ALL Enemy players.
Then finally
3) Everything else. Friendlies.. rabbits.. flowers and all the other window dressing.
Rush / bulls and Whirl will only cleanse roots/immobilise I believe.
For both offensive and defensive sieging the longbow pulls ahead with its area denial.
In open country I guess the rifle is better.
Pretty hilarious. You should name it the “roadrunner” spec. As no bugger is going to catch you with double rush.
Although only having one cripple cleanse every 30secs might be an issue.

Yeah knights is always good imo.
I dont think ANY of our tooltips are even remotely accurate anymore. Which would account for a lot confusion as to what is a bug and what isnt.

Really? as it seems to still have the 2 sec cast time for me …
Longbow root seems to miss much of the time (same issue as the inconsistant bullcharge / rush issues were seeing) .
Longbow damage is pretty poor overall, with the big hitters (#3 and f1) being insanely slow and easily avoided. Its terrible for sPvP vs anyone with the barest of competency.
The #4 blind should be instant cast, given that it only works vs a single incoming attack (actually just change retaliation and confusion to only work for a single attack too). Right now it takes too long to cast. Look at ranger longbow skill #3 by way of a comparison.
The tactics trait for 10% extra longbow damage on burning targets is pretty terrible given that the amount of time you can keep a target on fire is neglible – you changed how longbow worked in BWE but this trait is still based on the ‘old’ longbow.
Sometime longbow #2 just goes on cooldown without actually completing the firing animation – its also lackluster damage and provides 1 tick of burning only – inconsitant with tooltip.
Implement a zone "Number of Players Present" indicator for each faction.

Not that I dont believe that you fairly allow a balanced number of player from each server on each map – but I tend to worry when I have to queue for an hour to get onto a map where there are 160 angry frenchmen from an enemy server.. yet only 30 or so from our own.
Unless that means that there are 130 friendlies afk somewhere obscenely secret??
Give us some population and max capacity data on the WvW screen pretty please with sugar on top.
ie “30/166 friendlies vs 332/332 enemies on blah blah borderlands”

Bumped to the top – would like ANet to acknowledge this bug – I was hoping they had already but it wasnt in todays patch.
Yeah its ridiculously bad. However, they wont give us back the proper damage bonus that it used to be ie 1% per point, for fear of making evis and killshot too powerful. People constantly complaining about the 100b build is enough forum noise for the moment.
Change it to adrenaline gain rate increase.. or movement speed increase per 1 point – just something more useful and substantial.
Out of combat speed is higher than in combat to help people move around safe zones faster (like cities). Working as intended.
There is a equal slot allocation per server per map right? You cant just fill a map with only your faction so the other two servers have to queue for hours right?
What are the pop caps per server per map?
What they could do is make cultural and faction stuff you buy account bound rather than char bound.
At least then id be able to roll a character and have them go the whisper order path, so I could obtain my weapons again.
Or allow a character who has completed the storyline complete access to all Order specific merchants.
Ive just checked and you cant transmute the skin of a soulbound item onto an item that isnt soulbound – which would have then allowed me to transfer it back to my main and then do another transmute to get my rifle skin back.
So its technically impossible now to get the Whisperer rifle skin back on my now Vigil aligned character.
Unless there is a way to obtain Whisperer gear in some other way? Can i drop Vigil after the story is completed??
So does that mean I have to roll a whisperer order char and bank one of their guns so my original char can transmute the rifle back to its CORRECT MODEL.
Or have you been snide and made the whisper stuff soulbound making that impossible?

So since the last patch my awesome looking rifle – complete with weird laser tube sight – has been turned into an ugly P.O.S tier0 blunderbuss model.
Tried buying another of the auction house – the icon was correct – but that also turned out to be the same god awful model. It made me cry.
