No. It will not be added. If they wanted us to be able to sell/trade soul/account bound items, they wouldn’t have made them soul/account bound in the first place.
You can upgrade them with artificing by converting so many to a higher point amount.
It stands for iRevolution – the name of my goal;
Design to Double the gaming experience.
Double in whose opinion?
Can you point me at where this is? It’s definitely not in game like that right now, and I didn’t see it on the upcoming patch notes either.
I honestly don’t recall where I read it, but I do recall talking to some people in WvW about it.
Oh noes! You bought a free to play game and didn’t get “enough” free things? Poor guy.
I chuckled.
They already have a change to Swiftness and notes on how it works floating around somewhere.
Unless I’m mistaken, it’s being changed from increasing duration to stacking extra speed, capping out at a little faster than it is now.
What the hell does [iR] mean?
I think the invasions should get replaced with something, that fits better the lore of the game that was from the begin on there and not just later implemented by the living story…
in human territories, the invasions should get replaced with centaur invasions.
in asura terriories, it would be inquest invasions.
In norn territories it would be svanir invasions
in sylvari territories then nightmare court invasions
and in charr territories it would be the flame legion ..Thats they way how I think Anet should change it, so that every kind of invasion starts to become different in regard of where the invasion takes place.
That the invasions are for now influenced a bit by scarlet and her aetherblades, but slowly that once Scarlet is beaten forever, that her influence in those invasions ends also and that those invasions turn then into 100% full invasions consisting only of enemies of the specific races without any aetherblade forces among them anymore ….That woudl be somethign awesome, that could also get quite a big influence an all the racial territories, if players should fail at defendign of those invasions in time, that all territories of the racial maps get heavily influenced then by those enemy factions… just like the dragon bosses have not some influence of the environment, if we fail to beat them in time, so should have the enemy factions have huge influence on hose territories, if we fail to beat back their invasions.
This fits perfectly with the lore the game how it is, though.
You are blatantly insulting farmers by calling them greedy, lazy and ignorant. I hate to break it to you, but farming is necessary in MMO’s. Money doesn’t grow on our backs. And don’t come with “I thought it was about having fun?” Because maybe for some people, making a lot of money is fun?
Anet made an event that is highly profitable, especially if you focus on the champs and loose the event. Of course people farm it, you do the most profitable thing. This is a design flaw and thus anets fault, not the players. I agree that anet should make winning the event more profitable than loosing it, but it simply isn’t, so people naturally don’t care about winning.
Why should I try my best to win if I loosing is more profitable?
Has trying to do both ever crossed your mind at all? If people want to champ farm that badly all they have to do is stack up on the captains and AoE them all down as they come in, yet people don’t even seem to be able to grasp that simple concept. Or more rather, they don’t WANT to.
Besides, if you want to solely champ farm that badly there’s always Queensdale and Frostgorge.
This event is much more profitable for the time spent than farming either of those locations.
It’s not that we refuse to understand it, it’s that we aren’t given enough rewards for the effort put into finishing.
I’m glad you realized the purpose of the odd currency price. I’m sorry you disagree with it. :c

Because you can’t stand someone having the opposite point of view as you (Even though I’m right and you can’t grasp the meaning of this rant). Plus the fact that you say you’re trolling me and write things out in map chat only leads me to conclude that you’re a baby of the largest possible proportion.
That being said, I put you on ignore right away I could tell you needed to grow up. Even though my friends say you’re still whining in map chat. I’ve been the bigger man considering I’ll let you have your way so you don’t throw a tantrum.
I find it utterly disappointing that so simple of subject is un-graspable even by such a meager little mind as your own, and its deals yet another blow to my faith in humanity that one day you may possible bear offspring. (Though I hear things that gladly inform me that that won’t happen (crosses fingers))
I tried to be amicable with you but you went straight into a vendetta. You can reply all you want on this post, but I’ll most likely delete it. But you will remain on my ignore list seeings as I don’t have time, nor do I like children. Was there some kind of... Ingame relationship going on between you two or what?
Because that is pretty much ripped out of context entirely.
He whispered me in-game over it. I mentioned it to /map (because it was public in the first place, we’re posting in the thread) and he got mad.
Now we’re here.

Sorry Justdeifyme
Yes, there was some in game stuff that happened that might have just peeked your interest.
Sorry I won’t go into it. Gossip is for old women and little girls with nothing better to do. So I prefer to keep it on the hush hush.

Seems to me you’re attempting to stir up quite a lot of drama on the boards, since /map was all "omg whut". I would repeat the names you called me in whispers, but that’s not appropriate for the boards, mister adult.

I swear that WoW and Rift both had a system similar to GW2s. If someone drops aggro near you, even if you’re not on the table, if it’s a hostile mob it goes for you.
No.
Engineers have the possibility of 5 weapon sets as it is now, elementalists 7. If anything, it’s unfair because they have more than every other class as it is.
That actually goes up to 6 and 8 if you count elites
I like the idea of being a minority for having one of the weapons these craft.
If dyes were account bound, they would all be worth nothing really. Keeping them character bound allows them to hold value.
Actually it is the other way around.
People now buy a dye they need for their char. They preview them and then buy the one they need.
Now if they could collect them account wide (add a nice title similar to the Emperor title for cultural armor collection) and there is more demand. Meaning prices will be better for very rare dyes as people start to collect them instead of choosing what they need.
Think Minis here and even add maybe account bound dyes? New option instead of the backpack-of-the-week you get the oversaturated color of the week a lot of people run around with.
It is not about the dye they buy a second or third time but about all dyes people will buy! Way more demand.
Soul Bound stuff holds no value in the game. It is alt-unfriendly. And people who play a lot of different characters don’t switch items back and forth. They give every alt its own gear.
But soulbound dyes is just a stupid idea. I understand where it comes from when the game was released. But it has no meaning anymore.
Yes, there will be people who whine because they bought a dye a lot of times. But no problem if you have it on multiple characters you get the dye itself back in form of a dye pack of equal rarity (one time process). Nice way to start your collection or you could sell this RNG pack (unidentified rare dye, unidenfitied frame and frost dye, whatever)
So somehow removing the long-term demand for dyes will make the price go up…
No.
Everyone will be all "Do this much DPS or you’re not coming." Not everyone is a DPS build.
Because world completion is just flat money. So is the straight up dumb stupid luck of (someone) finding the precursor.
Here is a question for a API programming player out there.
The question Darsin asked about his cool down timer on this other elemental abilitys…..is that something you can get info from using the API and if so you could them make an overlay.????
No.
Yeah, anything that directly interacts with the game client is strictly forbidden.
Which is why there would have to be an approval process.
And that is exactly what ANet has already said they will not do.
It’s perfectly fair how it is. You hit more times, you get hit more times back.
I have to admit. I’m biased. Retaliation is my least favorite boon/littlekittenyellowtag in the game. I very much enjoy staff Ele, despite all of the complaints attributed to it, and there simply isn’t enough boon removal in the game to effectively counter Retaliation, and Eles have none available to them. Even the Sigil of Nullification is ineffective due to its internal cooldown.
However, I will return to the topic and offer an example:
A warrior or thief that can make a single hit for 5k gets hit with Retaliation once for let’s say 200 damage.
To inflict the same amount of damage, you have an Elementalist or Ranger that MUST hit 5 times at 1k each, gets hit with Retaliation 5 times for 1k damage.
So, in this scenario you have burst builds taking 4% of the damage they’re dealing in return, compared with steady DPS builds taking 20% of the damage they’re dealing. Admittedly, the numbers are rounded so we don’t hurt our brains with math, but it is representative of how the current system works, at least as far as I understand it.
That honestly doesn’t seem ‘fair’. IMO, Retaliation damage should directly correspond to the amount of damage inflicted, not the number of hits.
The only argument that makes sense that I’ve heard in favor of the current on-hit implementation is that condition builds would almost entirely bypass retaliation if it was based on a percentage of direct damage. However, that just seems like an effective counter-build to me, rather than a reason to keep the status quo.
The point you’re missing entirely is it’s not about the target’s DPS that is done to the object with the boon. It’s how many time the object with the boon is hit.
You’re turning it into something it’s not.

Voila.
I see no reason why you can’t toss up a MotD for certain people to message you, and why you can’t send two stones to one person and two to the other and have them mail the other two to the remaining party members.
It’s quite easy to work around.
Yeah, anything that directly interacts with the game client is strictly forbidden.
Told ‘em Already. Can’t really imagine what the …. you’ve bought $1000 Gems for, the GemStore is “nearly empty”.
The trading post isn’t
It’s perfectly fair how it is. You hit more times, you get hit more times back.
That’s part of the challenge of PvE. You have to deal with the environment.
No. That’s what killed WoW.
Ok. Mind giving me a couple legendaries? Since they’re so commonplace, you know. Thanks.
Me too pls.
I think it’s been confirmed mounts will not be added.
Not sure though.
I absolutely 100% disagree with unsoulbinding. It completely undermines the purpose of the action.
I completely agree.
If anything I’d suggest tweaks to the soulbinding system, but I would absolutely oppose any way to unsoulbind any item, especially if it makes it tradeable.
Imagine the consequences – what if you could use it to unbind items that are soulbound on acquire? Suddenly you could get prestigious things that only skill can earn – like Arah gear – as a reward for farming gold.
…no, thanks.
This is why I would suggest an un-binder that only changes soul bound items into account bound items; thus still not trade-able but it’s still on your account as that ‘prestigious’ bragging rights item that you earned. As you play the game longer, eventually you’ll tire of one character and will want to move onto another as your main character. Might as well be able to still use those items you worked so hard to get. Of course, I’m also sure with the proper programming, it could be possible to separate the unbinding of those prestigious, karma purchased, crafted ascended, or other such “skill earned” items from the unbinding of your regular drops. i.e. Allow the unbinding of regular exotics (rares) such that they can be sold to other players, while only allowing the unbinding of prestige items to go from soul bound to account bound.
I still disagree with it.
Why would they make it soulbound in the first place if they’re gonna allow us to unsouldbind it?
What do you worry about on your own ignore list?
I right click to report gold sellers, then right click again to block them.
I don’t know if it has a cap, and I don’t want to have to clean it out.
I know you’re aware of the issue, but I’m still going to comment because I’m crossing my fingers for an update.
The ability to purchase gems/redeem a code is grayed out for me.
Why would they do that when they charge you for 800 gems and you have some left over, driving your OCD to buy more?
Yeah, the mobile authenticator. It links up with the google authenticator app. In order for someone who’s not an authorized location to log into your account, they have to have physical access to your device you have the authenticator on.
Personally, I have it enabled on my account as well as on my gmail accounts.
On other MMOs (no reason to list names) I have seen a nifty feature that if you report someone through a public chat (i.e. right-click and report from /map) it will also put that person on a temporary ignore list, so you don’t see anything they have to say until you completely log out, which clears the ignore list.
I’m suggesting this so that way when we report goldsellers, we don’t have to see them continually spam their ads, nor do we have to worry about our ignore list. It’s not something that’s necessary for gameplay, but moreso a convenience that I’m certain the vast majority of players would love to have.
-[edit]-
It /might/ cut back on goldselling ads in-game as well, too, because now it’s encouraged they be reported moreso than before, as well as once reported you no longer see the ads anyway from that account if they continue to spam.
I absolutely 100% disagree with unsoulbinding. It completely undermines the purpose of the action.
So screw up the order for them. I see no problem with entertaining yourself.

I did it in infantile mode, but I didn’t use the clouds to get me to places I couldn’t without. They were strictly for trap evasion.
Relatively, this is possible in normal mode.

AFAIK, w2-2, requires dodge-jump to get to the shortcut eagle.
I might be wrong, but that cloud is impossible to reach without it.
I’ve been afraid to dodge jump this whole time in case I fall off it. I have no problems reaching it without dodging.
@OP: strictly speaking, dodge-jump is not allowed as a macro because it breaks the limit of one key one keystroke.
endgame for me is getting trophies I can wave in people’s faces. Like a full king toad set to go with my Liadri. I know they don’t match, but that’s beside the point.
I don’t like the wizard’s set or I’d get it too. It’s a golden pee yellow.
By the massive amount of players misusing ping and link?
Ping is on the minimap, link is things in chat.
I’d like to clarify the game isn’t dying. lol.
Also the transfers haven’t been free for like 6 months now?
They are not producing light, like most (if not all) other torches in the game do.

Not the best screenshot, but you can see here the Charr footprints are /still/ backwards, and have been since I started playing a Charr in like, December or January. I think this is the second time I’ve reported it? Not 100% sure.
I’ll upload a better screenshot when I get home. I noticed this in class and I like to procrastinate.
Buying minis is more pay to win, but no one QQ’s about that.
That’s not P2W, mini’s are a cosmetic feature. The infinite coin DIRECTLY impacts on how you play the game.
The argument being does the heavily gated account bound activities around baubles/continue coins prevent people from playing SAB and achieving in it compared to those that buy the infinite coin.
I was saying the minis are more pay to win than the coin is. Not that they /are/ pay to win.
Why would you throw away something that you bought from the store? The SAB will be an infinitely recurring thing like halloween, wintersday, etc.
Personally I would like it in the currency pouch but since it’s all neatly organized we’ll have to wait for a couple more currencies to be added so as to not destroy the nice table structure <.<
I never said I was going to throw it away -_-
I’m not even sure what you’re talking about.
I said the coin is not pay to win, and that the minis are more pay to win that the coin is. I didn’t say the mini’s were. You read what I said and twisted it to fit your essay.
You also mangled two of my posts together in a quote, both of which were addressing two different points. My second quote basically said freemium is another word for pay to win.
Then, my sincere apologies for misinterpreting your posts. I’ll leave it there however, for others to see unless you want me to edit it to be not directed at you.
It’s k. Accidents happen :3
It’s not P2W per se, but it’s very close to "Freemium".
Yeah, the moment that the coin also not only grants immunity to things in-game making it easier, but the SAB gives rewards that will make money, this will be considered P2W. Buying minis is more pay to win, but no one QQ’s about that.
That would be pay to win. -_-
Uhh...no it’s not. First of all, there’s an entry cost to get into the game. Second, access to anything crucial game wise has not been forbidden to non-gem store users. The gem store only offers quality of life and cosmetic goods that do not affect or alter the core gameplay in which it would give a massive advantage over another player who does not use it.
The Infinite Token is a convenience item at that, but it doesn’t bar the non-Infinite Token player from doing Tribulation. Players have already discovered they don’t need the token. Not to mention the rewards for doing Tribulation are account bound and that the skins you can sell are available from each daily boss chest you can do quite fine without the Infinite Token.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/livingworld/sab-bts/Infinite-Coin-is-NOT-Required
"Pay2Win" was coined, by the player community, as a game where they offered paying players an advantage (usually massive in terms of stats/attack power) over free players. Buying minis gives you NO advantage whatsoever over another player other than cosmetic showing off. The Infinite Token gives you ease of replayability, but is in no way a direct, superior advantage over another player. Especially, when you can spend the same time Champion/Dungeon multi-path farming, which is FAR more lucrative instead of suffering in SAB like everyone says they are.
I suggest you take a serious look at Nexon if you think cosmetic and convenience goods are Pay2Win. Some of their games are straight up Pay2Gamble2Win. Gambling for a RNG possibility to get a weapon to the next tier, which is already absurdly low, and even then you might not even get the stats you wanted. Each try is usually a dollar, with players spending upwards of 300 dollars A DAY and not even getting above the first tier. And non-paying players left in the dust damage wise to their far superior paying players. GW2 has none of this, it’s easy to gear and the jump from exotic to ascended is miniscule to what you see in a real Pay2Win game.
I’m not even sure what you’re talking about.
I said the coin is not pay to win, and that the minis are more pay to win that the coin is. I didn’t say the mini’s were. You read what I said and twisted it to fit your essay.

They’ve said there will be a world 3 and 4, so I guess it’ll be useful there. After that, I don’t know.
I still don’t want to hold onto a tangible object if I can avoid it.
