On my warrior I died faster running full soldier then when I was using food (omnomberry pie) with full berserker. Warrior’s defense is very bad. It doesn’t feel like warrior at all. Why can elemntalist “tank” better then warrior?

Because we’re balanced in AN opinion and its just a l2p issue /sarcasm

I wants to get an response from them, if they can remove threads, they can response as well. Or at least i wants to see a video proving me and everyone on forum that we are wrong and its just l2p issue.

Completely agree. Im really feel like i playing a game made by amateurs, lacking features, no idea about balance, 1 pvp type mode for over 6 months called esport..LOL

GW2 itself is nice, just different company has to buy it out and clean that mess.

I were think Diablo 3 is a fail, GW2 in current state beating it.

Even if its just 2sec per proc, its too much. From my point i understand that while i fight against 3 mobs at once i gain some health back just from 1 mob per 2 sec? Warrior is destroyed, thats the fact and food became useless.

How to improve? Hmm..Swap healing power with boon duration for good start.

Minor trait 5 – change to something like endure pain: 20% chance to take no damage from attack (10cd)

Minor 15: Hmm..others changes should be made first to our healing system before we even touch it, but i think doubling amount and make it stack with healing power would give a lot highter survavity rate.

Minor 25: 10% of ur toughness becomes vitality

Now traits:

I – Damage reduction sounds pretty good stated up.
II – Instead of 200 toughness, gain protection which last as long as conditions mentioned in trait.
III – Sure-footed..hows that sound to u? For me 50% reduction for cripple/chill/immo
IV – Gain 70% of hp at rally
V – Decreasing stanced cooldown by 20% (they need a rework tho on cds.)
VI – Take 10% damage les from weakened foes.
VII – Also provides 3sec regeneration per weakness applies.
VIII – Cd decreased to 40sec, also upgrades to gain retalation
IX – Also 10% chance to block attack (no cd), reflect projectiles, does not stacking with minor 5
X – Increase 25% damage, 60% to disabled (hammers hits weak anyway)
XI – Activates at 50%
XII – Also add 5sec protection.

Now u have fully viable tree. Instead of looking at traits “eh olny 2 of em are good enought to get” u will end up like “so many options, what to pick up?”. Do they are op in my eyes? Looaking at different classes not by any means.

Actually GS is dealing more damage than Axe, granting you more might stacks and an extra evade. Saying Axe deals more damage than GS is pure bullkitten.

Edit: Oh yeah, i forgot about the extra vulnerability on foes.

I believe axe/shield+rifleis the best way to go. I use that in spvp, wvw (when pushing lines) and in some dungeons. GS is fine, but selfroot on hb needs to go, its not even a pvp problem, its affect pve as well.

Mr op, can we test ur luck on 1v1 to make sure if u deserve a legendary?

Current method of obtaining pre from mf is just bs, i have spend 400g total trying to get one, 200 with exotics, 200 with rares, right now i trying to farm one doing cof like zombie. Legendary progress yay.

We should have at least 10% chance to drop precurson from 40+ lv fractals, not everyone can get there, and believe me its takes a bit of skill.

Vengeance should not result in death.

I fail to see how vapor form is o/p. It allows them to move away much like thieves can. It doesn’t do damage. I also don’t see the problem with vengeance as it’s quite powerful and allows you to still contribute when you’re being zerged off the map.

If you want it to suck like 3/4th of the other downed skills like Rangers, Engineers, Guardians, Etc… then fine. Make a downed shout that would give all allies around you swiftness and a buff to res time.

Ranger, guardian downed skills sux? Nice trolling. Yeah i wants downed skills like ranger, guardian. I wants a pet to heal me within seconds as ranger, i wants aoe knockback like guardians. Btw, have u ever tried to kill ranger underwater?

I can olny agree on engineer part.

Warriors should get an elite shout.

I think they should take it a step further and have 1 elite per utility type for all classes. So using warrior as an example, an elite Shout, Physical, Banner, Signet. We are already half-way there, but not all classes are so lucky. This would make things very interesting to people who are running a build with heavy emphasis on a certain utility type.

OP is completely right about that skill. Have u ever seen cd on it? Its won’t be op by any means. Right now that skill is completely useless as it is. Really use 3 to kill urself..Who had idea like that?

I would like to see vengeance working diff way, when u kill someone under this effect u still won’t rally, but instead going back to downed when time is over (when not trained). Fair enough

That makes it even more useless. Balanced Stance triggers the 90 seconds cooldown on Last Stand.

Looking at diff classes they seems to be ok. If a mesmer can go evade status every 6sec, why not? If guardian can heal themself few times in a row to full, well why not? If d/d ele..lets stop on that.

Also which ones r too strong? Warrior missing multieffect on skills, and thats is a problem.

Shield bash: stuns lasting for 2sec, 600 meter range, cd decreased to 20sec

Shield Stance: grants stability while using, 3sec protection when done casting, cd reduced to 25sec

-Axe:

  1. Triple axe increased damage by 5% and grants might for 5sec
  2. also evades while casting
  3. Now also pulls.
  4. remove fury, add vigor for 10sec
  5. increased damage to be equal with chop, grants stability, reflect projectiles

Burst skill: has 600 range, damage increased by 20%, breaks immobilize, not affected by cripple/chill, unblockable

-Mace:

  1. 3rd attack reduced cast time by 50%, blast finisher
  2. Also grants protection for 3sec and 5sec vigor
  3. also adds 4sec renegerate
  4. Reduced cast time by 25%, add 5sec cripple, hits up to 3 foes at once
  5. Wave animation speeded up by 25%

Burst skill: its now a leap finisher, 600 meter range, breaks immobilize, hits up to 3 foes at once, not affected by cripple/chill. Also stun duration depends on adrenaline: 1 sec per stage (its means 3sec stun for 3 stage), unblockable

-Sword:

  1. 3rd attack poisons foe for 6sec and damage reduced by 25%
  2. now also stuns for 1sec, breaks immobilize, not affected by cripple/chill
  3. also grants 3 stack of vulnerability and blind for 4sec
  4. second effect causes sword to explode ending in 4sec burning
  5. also blinds for 4sec and causing weakness for 10sec, response time increased

Burst skill: evade status while casting (like mesmer with blurred frenzy), unblockable

-Rifle:

  1. Increased damage by 15%, removed bleed
  2. also knockback urself by 450 meters
  3. As it is.
  4. 2sec stun instead of vulnerability
  5. As it is.

Burst skill: immune to blind while casting, unblockable

-Hammer

  1. 3rd attack also blinds for 4sec, blast finisher
  2. also 4sec protection on succesfully landed skill
  3. also Immobilize for 2sec
  4. 750meter knockback, 25% speeded up animation
  5. Hits up to 5 foes in line at once, reduced cast time by 25%

Burst skill: 900 range, breaks immobilize, not affected by cripple/chill, stun based on adrenaline level same as mace, unblockable

-Greatsword:

  1. As it is.
  2. Replace it with arcing slide: slide damage boosted by 20%, knockdown for 1sec
  3. As it is.
  4. immobilize 1sec per hit
  5. Teleports and blinds for 4

Burst skill: Replace arcing slide with hundren blades

lv1: same damage as current lowered than current
lv2: 10% damage increased
lv3: 20% damage increased
Selfroot removed
Castime reduced by 20%

Regular hits from 2nd and 3rd attacks of chain are gap closers similiar to ranger reg attack chain while using sword

U thinking like most braindead players. If u decrease damage on hb its will be useless, right now its slighty better than reg hits. Quickness makes its op, its makes any skill op, u will ask to nerf axe reg hits cause they hit about 90% of hb in same time?

If they want to keep hb as selfroot, we should have evade status while casting it just like mesmer with their blu blu blu frenzii.

I actually wanted to farm for it, but how long u can run cof p1? The last increase in prices killed my motivation to actually play the game.

From 600g pew to 700, nty. If they wants to keep the rng system they got atm, have fun, im out. Lets see how long that game will be running, watch server population.

People are sick of many things, yet nothing is done about it, i feel like i playing a game made my amateurs.

I know one guy that got his dusk within 20g using rares, yet i have spend over 300g and nothing using rares and exotic – its fair i understand.

Current ppl that got legendary are tp players, the ones that bought it cheap at start, karka event, lucky ppl that one dropped for them, or they just bought it from goldsellers. Yay so legendary.

Id say, do not feed trolls. They have no idea what they talk about, trying to act likes pros that eaten every mind, yet being lv2 in spvp at best. Noone asking here for i win button, we asking for defensive tools. Thing is everyone goes glass for a reason – kill it before its kill u. I running around in hybrid build:

3,1k tougness that reduced damage by 27% from 2,1k, with random protection for 4sec on 30cd (rune of earth x5). Using axe/shield i got 3sec block, 5sec invul for direct dmg (tooltip is wrong saying its 3 on bar), balance stance, signet of stamina for extra dodges and thats all about it. So running 20/30/20/0/0 wheres my defensive tools? Yea, nowhere cause we dont have any. Right now shield stance and endure pain just delays ur death thats about it.

I would like to see trait 5 on def somthing like that: 30% chance to take damage by ur armor (means no damage to u), no cd. Op? Dunno, the current one is useless as it is. Rangers has 50% faster endurance at 5 def trait, we need to use signet for that.

Legendary weapons are supposed to be rare.
Legendary weapons are supposed to take a lot of luck and gold earned by tp, gems.
You are not entitled to a legendary weapon. You may choose to earn it.

People have legendary weapons. It is obviously obtainable. There’s no “fixes” needed.

Too many of you assume that you are entitled to one. You’re not.

1. Last stand trait has internal 90sec cooldown, as well endure pain don’t protect from conditions or cc. Regen based on adrenaline lv is a joke, 360hp per 3sec at maxed lv. Break imbo is placed in completely wrong place, if i want to pick it up i have to spec for glass. Shout heals won’t help u much against glass cannon spec. From what u have said to get that all we gotta spec for 0/0/30/30/20 – ops, but we got just 70 points to choice. Its is viable by any means? No. Shield stance? Plz.. its can be bypassed so easily, necro unblockable mark, warrior fear me, unblockable traps, unblockable pull from engi, unblockable knockback from guardian, and so on mace is too slow to be a viable weapon in pvp, u can dodge it just by moving. Anyways hows u want to break imbo with mace/shield lol?

2. Shouts takes utility, means just 1 stun break and nothing else, also they all have 20cd if trained, mending 25. Some builds apply conditions faster than u can cure. Have u seen any warrior running in tpvp with shout build? Add warhorn to it plz.

3. Again, how u wants to pick signet of healing with mending? Even if healing is still too weak against burst builds.

4. i Tried, working pretty well unlike warriors. If u saying thief has laggy and slow skills i missed something..

5. We can go ranged, yeah, but does its works in longer run? Sooner or later u will be forced to pick melee set. Im running axe/shield+rifle as well gs+rifle so i know what i talking about. Also skills from rifle can be easily dodged, rifle has volley and killshot as burst, nothing else. And btw, 100b is slighty stronger than autoattack, quickness makes its powerful, 100b on its own instop by any means.

6. Gap closers that can be crippled/chilled, i love using cripple on those poor gs warriors and kite them to death cause they have no ways to get rid of it. Even if they get close i can knockback em with riflebutt and repeat, or if i get bored with it switch to axe/shield and finish. And hows u wants to use cc with gap closers? gs, sword are 3 gap closers+bull is 4. U mean sword+mace that offers 2 knockback combines with bullrush on high cd?

7. Show me it, when i pick a thief or ele im thinking what to pick up? So many options. When i get on warrior i am like..what i can pick? 10% chance for 3sec switness on crit? Gain adren on hit? Stances lasting for 25% longer? 5% dmg more to weakened targets? Revive faster? 3% burst dmg more in 30 points train disipline? Why crit damage inst in arm i just dont know.. Defense toughness+healing power, arent tactic should use healing power?

Knockback em and they will be next to u within second, too bad ur cds not. Also what the points taking knockback over endure pain, balance stance, signet of stamina or bullrush+frenzy?

8. Its high, look at guardian and come back. Also ele has more skills than just armor of earth unlike warrior.

9. Sword MH eeems to be a condition weapon, yet offhand trying to act like both, take a look on sword offhand skill 4.

Bow powerful burst skill which is good for pve olny or disabled enemies, whos is stupid enough to stay in the circle for the whole duration? And what u need aoe burn for specced as direct dmg dealer? Its worthless.
Rifle as main weapon? Good joke, everything works in zerkfest.

10. No commend. Everyone using mobile skills know that they tend to miss or passing enemy.

Heres ur arguments:

-lacking in defensive tools
-lacking in condtion removal
-lacking in regeneration
-slow, laggy skills (hammer anyone?)
- self root skills on a melee class:

how come a melee class has something like that when ranged class running around spamming whatever they got?

- no pull
- bad designed trait tree, most of the traits are useless as well
- ^ same goes for utilities, what i need knockback skills for as melee class that doing damage in melee range? Don’t even start on elite called rampage..

- too high cds on useful utilities : endure pain, balance stance
- weapons skills are clones, pretty bad designed :

some of the weapons dont knows if they wants to be a direct damage or condition like sword, longbow, rifle

- bugged mobile skills

Do i missed something?

Ya know, theres no problem killing a noob in 1v1 as warrior, do a 1v1 with guy that knows how to play his own class and come back

But really right now warrior fits perfect the role go-die-rez and repeat, so we can delay enemy on focusing other classes, we can survive 9 second before going down!

Naturally if ur enemy dont bypass shield stance, ur olny one defensive skill besided endure pain on small cd, just 90sec like every other utility anyway.

Warrior inscription should saying: inspire enemies, demoralize allies.

And btw..why we dont have a pull yet?
