I like seeing a portal and invisible people instantly killing me.
Especially holding a inner gate with 40 people, to find out a mesmer snuck past the 30 people spamming aoe, then sneaking past the aoe again after casting the exit.

my question is, is the exit portal visible immediately after casting or does it appear after casting the entrance.

this would make a big difference in detection.

Portals can be used in any direction. They only have to run past your AOE once.

Seren wishes there were guild commander books obtained from guild influence, like a green commander icon only people in your guild can see.

Jumping puzzles are terrible on Norn, Though in WvW I can lead a push, everyone see’s that giant norn push into the zerg they follow. Lead by example

I’m from SoS and I was there when the servers went down for the patch, by the time my patch finished downloading the maps were flipped to SoR. We got straight back in and got to it. Be a shame to see PRX give up on SoS

the only thing I remember from the combat log was Slash that hit for about 2k, I have very high toughness and 3 invunerabilities, I’m no easy target for a thief. Seeing people mention this permastealth thief now in my servers wvw thread saying he held off a small zerg.

I wasn’t complaining about thieves, just wondering about an exploit. I’ll go back to farming badges off you guys, see you on the field.

thats what I was told, so how was this guy stealthed & invun for an entire 30 second battle. Does anyone have a link to the build you guys think he was using.

I have wvw a lot, and am on a tier3 server I’ve fought hundreds of thieves only seen this happen today. It wasn’t culling or rendering I’m quite experienced with that.

So does that mean this perma stealth is not an exploit?

First post, I came here to check if there was a new exploit out after coming across a thief today. I’m a level 80 warrior with full exotics, thieves generally beat me but it’s close, I can deal with that. Today I was with two guildies on their 80 exotic’d thieves.

We came across a thief could easily 1v5, I think he even 1v7 at one point and was downing people as well. The only time he wasnt stealthed he was spinning (unsure the name of ability).

I asked my thieves what was up with that, and they both said what he was doing was not something thieves can do. That cloak and dagger is meant to have a cool down.

It just seemed like an exploit and I’d hate to see legit thieves get nerfed over people doing this.

I looked at my combat logs, and he never it me for more than 2k a hit and there was no backstabs.
