if a gear has even +1 stat it means everyone in wvw will need/want it even if pve isn’t their thing. The infusion slot has little to do with it.

I have a healing shout warrior and I have fun playing it

my issue is that, currently most of us in my guild have multiple 80’s we just bring whatever makes a good balance, now i have to gear all my alts again

devs have said his fine to skip, his only currently there if you need a waypoint. They hopefully tweak loot soon

Steal 5k, cloak and Dagger 5k, back stab 10k and im dead before I know I’m being hit. It’s hard to get used to after playing a tank spec warrior

It’s a fun spell in what it was probably intended to do, pulling people off castle walls can be mildly entertaining, The things it can do in the jumping puzzle is pretty much the ultimate way to troll people.

I’m aware guardians have a similar spell.

Is it fine, should the vertical range be limited in some way ?

This happened to me few days ago, disconnected when final boss was on 5%, logged back in my party had all left the dungeon and I got zilch.

Just have the whole party stand inside alphas body, yeah keep telling yourself that’s how Anet designed the encounter to be beaten.

For me it depends on the server, I have no issue jumping along with invaders. If a server is blatantly camping it, then no more free rides for them.

never tried dolyak but healing signet and defense trait do

yes I also run leeching and water sigils on my axe & shield

i do a couple of dungeons with my guild each day, I dont even know what to do with the tokens anymore, my lvl10 thief has CoF gear

full defense , tactics with shout heals and runes of the soldier make you tough enough and a good asset to any dungeon. You’ll never take as much of a beating as a healing spec guardian though

actually, what the guy above said is pretty much the way to go, ive switched 30 from defense down to 20 and moved 10 spare points into precision tree. In the process of switching some of my tank jewelry to zerker as the soldier runes make up for it

you can buy high level armour up to lvl79 for a few very cheap off the TP and transmute it onto your gear with the basic transmution stones

Hammer is more fun but less damage, you certainly have the most effect on the battlefield with it

Agree on the tanks, healing spec guardians are beasts and I have a very tanky healing warrior. Charging into a zerg to break a stalemate is a good tactic as long as people follow. Ive had pretty good luck with it on SoS, though in giant zergs were it’s all about culling im not sure

I get a lot more badges on my mesmer than my warrior so it could be worse. if your in a zerg on mesmer stay still as you dps them down, and keep dps them in down state if you cant get the finisher. But yeah jumping puzzle

you can portal golems to watergate, that and a bit of timewarp would do the job

I have a 80 tank axe&shield shout heal warrior, and a tanky mesmer.

For solo queue mesmer is great, I just standing around in bad positions waiting for thieves to attack, can escape from just about anything and decoy finishing is pain free.

when 2 zergs are at a stalemate theres nothing better then just charging with a giant norn warrior and having everyone follow and smashing through the lines and destroying the enemies. Warriors are fun and visceral but you have 0 escapes, if you get jumped by a group on the way somewhere, it isn’t going to end well.

when you do that on a mes no one follows you, they just stand around wait for portal.

I just recently got a logitech g600 , similar to naga. still getting used to all the buttons but as a tank I usally end up doing the targeting so having ctrl-T on a mouse button is very helpfull, I also have weapon switch, F1. working on adapting to using more

I run a mixture of gear to balance vitality toughness and power/crit crit chance 20/0/30 something defense build, run an axe and shield. My warriors very durable and does decent damage, thats whats best for the regulars I run dungeons with since they are all squishy.

If you can run full zerkers and stay up then thats fine. if you need multiple rezzes all the time, maybe switch in some defensive stats to your find that sweet spot that allows your play style to stay up

clone on dodge made mesmer a lot more enjoyable for me, it giving the ability to shatter far far more is great.

ioj shouldnt have assumed sor and sos would just fight each other and leave them alone

CoF was bugged for us last week, event after completing the prevents the door remained closed, It is working now though on my server, have opened it a few times this week and done CoF

when I did it awhile ago there was no tentacles and no sound and you got 3 greens, but Im pretty sure all the cannons could be used, not sure who’s idea it was to press ‘2’ for several minutes for the final boss in the game was.

I got the 100% completion on another character, not because of this, but now I know this I’m glad

Yep I think both SoS and SoR know not to count each other out till the end. Had a good night playing in IoJ borderlands, threw a timewarp on a load of PRX golems and that reinforced gate exploded

My main is a warrior also but play as a tank, paper rock scissors. Sadly thieves are the paper to everyones rock. I mostly mesmer now though. thieves avoid me like the plague on mesmer

I for one remember last time we fought ioj, was around 30 of them dancing at our spawn and killing anyone who left. I’d been looking forward to a rematch for awhile now. So while you guys didn’t take us seriously, we took you very seriously.

porting all of your characters up to EB JP is a quick way to get seige, like someone above said you can give the siege to other players in person just not via mail.

I want one to organise my guilds wvw events. I’d be happy if there was one only the guild could see that still let me create squads

I wish there was some use for karma, not everyone is going for a legendary

7 is fine, stops guilds hopping over for a day etc be happy they did this much

I enjoy doing the jumping puzzles and helping people up who take a fall. Always feels good to to portal people to the top in EB too

I was quite happy seeing some IoJ in the EB jumping puzzle today, I just let them be. Soon as they thought they seen one of my group members alone they pounced him though. Bad IoJ ! didn’t end well for them as they didn’t see the rest of us. My trust is broken

I think the people that get frustrated are the ones looking for a way to get badges for the legendary without fighting

I tend to notice I always have more money when I leave wvw than when I went in, and I repeair each time I die

I really doubt us oceanics will ever leave, thats the whole reason we got this far

It can be frustrating, ive been pulled off the starting ledge by a mesmer and his crew an ganked.
Though another time when enemies where camping the dark room, we got a bunch of guildies with no torches and gave them the fright of thier life

Unfortunate time for Aussies, saddening as I was embracing the halloween content.
