If you’ve ever cooked, you’d know that the most efficient way to prepare an elaborate meal for the family is to start working on multiple things at once and let them simmer. Triage between the sauce, the meat, the noodles and vegetables until everything’s ready, then put it all together and enjoy the fantastic meal.

If you only worked on one thing at a time, like the sauce, great, you now have amazing sauce YUMMY…but no noodles or meat and veggies to go along with it. You could sip on that sauce all day but it probably won’t be very filling.

I’ve watched enough cooking shows to know people walk out when they get too hungry.

My sis is a chef and she can cook 100’s of beautiful meals at an alarming rate.

Enough with that, I stopped playing a month or two ago, still pop on the forums to see if anythings changed (it hasnt, no new dungeons since fractals, classes havnt been balanced for months, if you’re not a fan of living story the games not for you. oh plus I need 30 ascended weapons to get all my alts up to date yey, I don’t even like crafting)

the reason arathi basin (wow) was so much better than spvp in gw2 is because you didnt have to stand in AOE spam to hold a point, you just had to interrupt anyone channeling the flag

Do people want something to work for, my warrior has a predator volcanus but also carry dual maces, shield, warhorn, dual axes, dual swords, longbow (not to mention 4 armour sets one being t3) full ascended trinkets and a glowy fractal backpack, sadly I dont play the game as much anymore.

I enjoy playing with the best gear but I don’t have time farm 8 ascended weaps. and this is just one character, I have 3 other decked out 80’s.

I don’t think it’s game breaking, but until I can buy ascended weaps for 5g for on the tp it’s pretty off putting.

I was dissapointed there was no mention of the predator at all. Hopefully it gets footfalls improved.

Something to point out is precurser prices, twilight has always been a lot more gold to craft than a flameseeker

I might have a play around with them tomorrow, those 4-6 seconds are going to be the most important ones, like when you get jumped by a thief or skullcracked that things gonna proc when you need it most

the thing with this build is you can have very high toughness vitality armour, the warrior only needs 30% crit rate, +20% from signet of rage, +50% from skull crack (unsuspecting foe) and the warrior can crit every single hit in 100b in tank gear. Like others have said outside of the stun 100b combo it’s fairly average damage

what would you think about the earth or grove runes for the protection, watched a video of a banner regen condition warrior using them, worked pretty well, was doing well against everything till he came across a necro

I have run something similar for awhile now since the patch that nerfed bezerkers power anyway, soldier runes though for commanding and group support in wvw, great survivability and mobility, you good blasts on the warhorn, I run a mix of knights zerker and healing gear for balance and I like to stay over 50% crit with fury, I use hammer or GS instead of bow though.

pretty good for fighting thieves, guardians and rangers. necros still chew me up just takes them a little longer. I dont use it in pvp though I mean have a lot, but as a bunker might as well just go guardian.

Great for pve and wvw though, very similar traits and loadout to what redguards hammer train used

I just did a hotjoin and sat on the cannon uncontested the whole game, I think a lot of people still don’t get whats going on with this map.

even though I made a predator I still rock the bow sometimes, I miss that thing great for attacking/defending keeps etc firing f1 and 3 into a zerg with cond build is brutal.

My load times have always been high. My friends were higher. He got a solid state and now he loads almost instantly. Might be time for me to upgrade

I’ve had an SSD for months, and this change is very obviously and very definitely the patch. I went from .5s loading screens to 5-10s loading screens.

There’s also random server latency. My ping runs between 50-90, with some 100ms spikes – it averages around 65ms. In multiple games today, I’ve watched a .2-.4 second lapse between the button I pressed, and my character performing said skill. It basically makes the game unplayable – I can’t interrupt heals, I can’t dodge big swings, etc etc etc. It’s annoying to screw up and get hit by an eviscerate or a shatter, but that’s ultimately my fault – it’s absolutely infuriating to eat that same ability because I’m using an ability I pressed nearly half a second ago instead of the dodge I’ve timed correctly.

I’m from Australia on a wimax connection, and I always get 1-2 second delays on skills with random 10-20 second freezes, makes me wonder just how easy this game is for people close to servers.

each healing skill has a different coefficient for +healing, but yes it effects all heals, banner regen, shout heals

I have both fully geared, I prefer the warrior because I’m stubborn or stupid, as much fun as pressing 2 2 2 on thief and seeing 7k 7k 7k it just feels wrong to me.

wow this turned into a fotm thread, highest ive done is 38 with shout heals, at which point spec really didnt seem to matter anymore, might as well just go zerker if everythings starting to 1 shot you.

protip for shout heals vs banners you can switch between the two on the fly without retraiting, start of dungeons, between bosses etc.

would need around +1000 to do 2.3k shouts. It’s nice to be able to instant 6k heal your party every 20-25 secs. If you already in a group with a lot of healing isnt much point, if you dont have a couple pocket guardians worth looking into

shouts are healing around 6k x 5 every 20 seconds, if you have 5 warriors running shouts thats nearly 100k heals every 20 seconds without even thinking about the condition removal and buffs they are giving.

Wrong shouts are healing for around 3k every 25-30 seconds. And curing 4 conditions. on a 3 shout build. With no stability, and one stun breaker.

Mending + Melandru Setup is currently curing 3 conditions 5.5k every 20 seconds. and making the warriors immune to CC. Freeing up all the utility slots for even more condition removal than shouts could provide. And providing more stability and stun breakers than a warrior could ever ask for and Endure pain if you wanted it.

Guardians can go contemplation of purity and save your selfs and cure more conditions from a zerg than a shout warrior could ever dream to cure. Rangers and Eles can throw down water fields and gurdians can spam blast in them and heal for more HP than a warrior can ever dream to.

Shouts are not only Over kill but they are not needed and not the best anymore. And its pretty much been like this for months.

Edit I think shouts are still a pretty viable build that still works really well. Just given the other options that warriors and organized guilds can now go I don’t see it as the #1 build anymore.

3.3 k on zerker traits with 0 points in defense and not picking shout reduction, 6k every 25 sec with little effort. Do we know each other? last tsym workshop I was at all warriors had to run 2 water 2 monk 2 sanctuary. I just always ran my shout heals, I use to run with tsym alot before they left sos

I use last stand trait instead of using a utility slot on it for stability.

had some fun roaming sos bl today in NA (yes Im oceanic but I’d rather play NA time so I can actually fight people) anyway, won some , lost some, felt bad for that [high] guardian I kept running into at the worsed times for him/her, maybe I’ll bump into you when your not fighting our guards in future

it’s just so disjointed from the rest of the game, your character looks different, you can’t achieve the same stats, doesnt seem to be any sort of matchmaking. you are about to win a round and you get auto balanced to the losing team, everyone plays bunker because of thieves.

as far as the pvp goes, wow and warhammer was much more fun imo

they improved rush a lot in recent patch, I’m hoping they take a look at bulls rush as it also rarely connects for me in wvw, goes through people, misses etc (im sure my latency doesnt help)

shout heals and soldier runes of course, melandru is not a teamplay rune.

being tanky is one thing, but being tanky and having 2k shout heals and removing teams conditions does a lot to help sustain your team.

Keep it up combatants. What you feel right now, if being owned (to sos and fa), is how easily SOR smashed us when we were against them, with occasional victories on our part (and a constant score of below 200 at all times – meaning we had it worse than you guys are doing now).

And because TC herself wants to improve, recruiting players is simply a matter of consequence. And I think all servers seek this too.

I’m gonna be honest and say TC is very good at supply management and defending with skeleton crews (A T1 level in this regard), but there are a lot of other area’s were TC is still playing like a sub T6 server.

As a whole your server has specs and gear more suited for cof, you guys are so squishy and thats one of the reasons equal numbered fights dont go your way. You guys need to learn how to use havoc squads and multiple commanders instead of trying to accomplish everything with one large zerg. You don’t need an 80 man to take a camp or to stop 4 people with 1 ram banging on a tower.

Other than that do some open field training, get your militia involved and practice, send 15 against 30 just to see how you do and how to improve. If you keep running back to those arrow carts you will never learn what you need to learn to hold your own in T1

had some good fights with TKVA earlier on sos bl, we had a few more numbers at some points but was totally unorganised militia, so worked out pretty even.

As far as them running goes, they ran when it was like 10vs3 outside bay (understandable) couple ran after the rest wiped at faith, you guys wiped us outside briar.

sure they do kill alot of stragglers and often only jump in when the npc’s are around but when your small ops this is how it goes, still hoping to run into FEAR or TKVA with a good 5man party.

I like mag, they are tough on the field no matter what guild they are in, strong militia, tc does have some really strong players like NAGA (though I said the same thing when they were on CD), TV guild always brings it, iLL I was hoping to run into some more.

I’m happy to fight TC again, just everytime you guys /laugh when you win with triple numbers I’m gonna poke fun on the forums.

5/10 I have to use complete zerker set now to hit as hard as I did in my knights & cleric set prepatch. I like the 25% run speed though.

Ive vendor’d a vision of the mists before, even with invisible bags they can end up in the wrong bag, and with a lag spike it can happen, really should be a confirmation for vendoring exotics and above.

If you really did vendor a bifrost contact support they will be able to roll your account back to the last time it was saved.
