The ability to occasionally die in a more appropriate position it’s overrated.

A lot of enemies choose their target based on proximity and toughness. So you can hold aggro a lot of the time. Though at level 30 tanking would be difficult. groups still need DPS. If your groups very DPS heavy just use some support utilities to even things out.

Ultimately play what you enjoy.

Not sure what you issue, I am doing fine with my glass cannon Warrior. Though in otherways during leveling up playing dungeon. I see countless full support level 80 exoctic dies 3 times by each boss encounter.

I find a lot of people claim to be full support etc that are not. Maybe they were just unskilled or not used to the amount of aggro that spec causes.

Very proud of SoS, disregard those trying to undermine our win.

I hate that I have to use a ranged weapon on a small amount of bosses, but that’s how it is.

kudos to anyone who does path 3 without voice chat, it’s enjoyable enough but path 1 and 2 are so much more efficient for tokens

on my healing warrior, I often sit next to offensive seige with my hammer waiting for inevitable thieves, shout heal at gates and lead the vanguard, tank npc’s whenever possible, support and protect

use some transmution stones and get creative

at this point even if they gave everyone a precursor it’d still be annoying since alot of people got 250 gold for nothing

When similar bugs happened to my shadow priest in that other game it was fixed in days, not to mention when they did big patches it went through the PTR.

How arenanet can make changes to a class and not even take one out for 5 minutes to test the changes it’s a bit of a worry, all of us knew something was wrong the first time we cast beserker

There are good glass cannon warriors out there who can do dungeons effectively, but they don’t seem too common I’m having to rez zerker warriors 2-3 times every boss, it gets a little tiring.

It’s not just a warrior thing though.

so it only procs betwen 1% and 25% hp. I assumed thats how these traits work as I have the decoy at 25% trait on my mesmer but it doesnt proc when I take a 9k backstab and insta die

guilds should be able to have a commander, though it should only be visible to their guild members, and a different coloured icon.

the corrupted skeggox has the same graphic as tooth of frostfang, glows. All of the corruptod weapons glow. Ascalonion as mentioned above. there is jotun greatsword I think that glows, then all the forge weapons like volcanus gs (fire) , the ecto weapons glow pink. you can get weapons with the models of the ele weapons like mjolnir and the guardian summoned weapons are the foefire range.

Fractals is popular on SoS too, been a fun week so far, seen some advanced plays and crazy flanking that I didn’t see in the other tiers. Nice to see PRX putting some commanders in maps their guild arent on to guide the biggest zerg of random guilds I have ever seen , worked well. Nice to see everyone pull together

As I understand it the colours are determined by your rank in the tier. So Sos will be getting SBI’s colour at the current rate according to matchups, so all the tier 1 colours should flip next reset

I got it when we were like rank 10, didn’t have to change servers. Though yeah one of my guildies needs one more poi for 100% and its the SBI garrison in EB, guess he only has to wait a couple days

I spent an hour trying to get a hotw pug today, I ended up hopping overflows in LA and asking people to save polar bears.

But yeah, no more new content until the current content is fixed please, doing a broken dungeon on my broken mesmer makes my heart broken

Lets face it, anet is working on xmas content instead of fixing all the bugged dungeons and classes.

the mesmer should have been hotfixed on the weekend and the fractals dc issue should have been fixed by now, they just don’t seem to care. Such a shame

I think it’s fine how it is, and my server got night capped more than anyone

tip against mesmers the real downed player will have a red arrow above their head, downed clones don’t.

finishers are best used with stealth or stability etc to prevent interruption, or just do it the old fashion way and keep hitting them while their down.

pretty sad that this is still not fixed, anet doesnt seem very good at hotfixes

soloing single targets like vets or champs is easier on mesmer, but killing groups is easier on warrior

glad I have a warrior, because I doubt they are going to fix this anytime soon

the events are still going on in overflows, not sure if it was intended. So go get it done.

I only have 2 80’s and this is annoying enough, I usually bring the best class for group balance in dungeons. now I cannot.

I believe anet said they are gonna fix it, not sure how it ever went live like this, every run someone diconnects and we end up 4man or 3manning the the last fractal, tonight it was my turn dc’d just before the big boss died before the next difficulty was awarded. Now my guildies have to repeat 3 fractals and a boss to catch me up because I missed 2 mins

It’s saddening, bezerker seems weaker than auto attack now

Seen the LoS nerf coming, but the change to portal does not address peoples problem with it. more of a nerf to our helpfulness in jumping puzzles helpfulness which is odd

I distinctly remember certain skill points I had to get help with on my warrior that I was able to solo on the mesmer. Though killing trash mobs is easier on Warrior. I find them equally fun to play in pve and wvw

I think every matchup since tier 4 an opposing team said, wait till next tier SoS is going to learn they are not good enough.

everyones legendarys dissapear as the gifts of exploration inside them dissapear. Serious though id pretty suprised if this new stuff had anything to do with world completion.

I see enemy mesmers camping the dome and dark room, like killing one person every 10 minutes is worth it instead of porting their own team mates up, I get past the campers then port my server up.

the way I read it, its like when you craft a ring, the slot is already filled, just has an extra infuse slot.

cant see why the armour wouldnt have rune slots

20/0/20/30/0 here shout warrior here, soldier runes 29k hp axe/shield then whatever the next encounter needs for the other weap, I wouldnt change my build, I enjoy it in dungeons and wvw, if I feel like glass cannon I play my alt

My friend runs a full support shout guardian with cleric gear and of his 4 80’s I always prefer he brings the guardian, I run my shout heal warrior as a hybrid dps then we bring 3 zerker players, eles rangers etc. Dungeons are fun there are very few deaths.

Ive done runs with full zerker groups and everyone dying all the time makes things alot slower

Mesmers are about the only class a thief complains about.

love the thieves that say the class isn’t broken, it’s just they are more skilled than other players to 1vs50. You just never hear “ranger just 1vs50 us at golanta, he kited us good”
