Well… The fact is: The game doesnt have end game, BUT there is plenty of stuff to do at level 80. Thats not the same thing.
End game = Stuff that can only be done by level 80’s. But this game got no thing such as end game. But still, it got the world bosses, all the dungeons, daily, legendaries, WvW, PvP, exploration etc. So there is alot to do
Currently i am at 508 rares (19 exo back) and 1408 exotics, no precursor yet.
Up to 624 rares (28 exo back) and 1472 exotics, still no precursor.

thats like 3000 gold which is like 5-7 precursors depending on which one…
That is naive fallacy because you are not taking everything into account. So far my loss in gold is smaller than the cost of the precursor on TP…
Up to 700 rares (29 exo) and 1476 exotics btw. That was a bad streak of 76 rares and only 1 exo back.
As far as I have been told, the 4 weapons you have to throw in the Mystic Toilet have to have the same stats between eachothers. At least, that’s the only way it worked for me (already got 3 precursors for less than 80 gold, working on my 4th now). It has not been confirmed by any official statement, but that’s what my experience (and my guildies’) say, I may be wrong though. So in your case, what did you throw in the forge ?
This is actually statistically impossible, no matter how lucky, no one is getting 3 pre for 80g… Check your numbers again.
I actually get better exotics back for mixed stats than i do for same stats, on average. But then again i can go awhile and not see an exotic either.
31 tries for Dawn, 3 for The Chosen, and 24 for the Leaf of Kudzu. Only with the cheapest rare items.
Less than 80 gold, I had not more in my purse anyway… Keep your stats for you, luck and statistics are not made to be mixed up.

Just had The Legend yesterday for 21 gold (I didn’t count how much tries, but it should be quite easy to count). I gave it to a member of my guild. 4 precursors for less than 100 gold now, let’s keep on the good work
If thats true and your theory is right.. You know… Proof please? Everyone can say “oh i gotten 4 precursors now for under 100 gold, this is the trick” But before you send me a spark, or give us prrof… Im sorry, but i wont believe you…

Amazing! I love the howler! One of my favourite actually. I dont think most people realise its a legendary TBH, thats why noone hasnt said anything.
When people say legendary everyone thinks of the overused twilight (No offense to the twilight owners/makers)
So, im almost done with my legendary (if you think how many pieces i got, and NOT gold and how long it will take to get them). I need some T6 mats, 50 lodestones and the precursor.
So, i have to make some gold. i am tired of CoF p1 farming, orr farming events and farming corrupted lodestones in FS. Is there any other ways to make gold? I dont mind farming, i actually enjoy it. Except farming the same places over and over gets boring.
Any help would be appreciated

I dont get why everyone is playing condition necro… I did that before and… It was terrible. I have much more survivability now, since i go with 30/0/20/20 and power/tough/vit gear, aswell as i have better DPS… The AOE is better aswell. Wells + marks = way better than the conditions which can easily be countered with a condition removal.

You can grind for “end game” gear, but it does not have better stats then regular exotics you can buy. BUT, they got unique skins, often particle effects and just look great! There are mystic forge weapons and legendary weapons, take a look at this list:

Personally i have been going for the legendary dagger, and i have been trying to get it since 1st january… So soon 4 months. I am getting closer and closer every day, but the precursor will be my problem

Well… The T6 mats and Lodestones is no problem for me. I farm CoF and orr for money. I need molten and destroyer lodestones which i get from cof. So while im farming gold i get the T6 and Lodestones as a bonus. I do actually have quite alot of them. This is the easy part for me.
Precursor is my problem :s
So many people finishing their legendary these days! :O
Btw, for the precursor and the forge, do you recommend using exotics, or rares?
I and many others would say rares, and sell the non-precursor exotics you receive to make back some of the money you just flushed away

That is the age old question. I hope someone can help you find the answer you are looking for. There is no way to know for sure as a.net keeps that info in the dark so that botters cannot find a work around.
Yes DR effects the drops of mobs. There is DR for everything. No it does not have to be tied to an event or dungeon.
But from just my experience I can give you a few tips.
Lets say we are at cursed shore farming shelt/pen. Once you are there for about an hour or so you will start seeing your loot go from greens and yellows, to blues and whites. That is how you know you have hit DR. You will not get less loot, just lower quality.
As far as getting rid of it goes, there are many answers to that as well. Usually I will go to another area for around thirty mins or so and that will get rid of it.

So, i am going for a legendary, so i farm ALOT!
So, my question about DR is the following:
1. Does DR affect monster drops aswell? If its not connected to an event or dungeon, just farming monsters?
2. If so, How do i know i hit DR? Do i get worse loot, do i get less loot or what happens?
3. If yes to number 1 again, how long does it take for me to hit DR? Is it 1 hour? 2 hours? And does it have to be no break, just farming? Or can i farm for 1 hour, then take a 1 hour break and start again, does this affect DR?
If some of these question is unclear, just ask me, i will try to explain
