Aye, sorry there are hardly no PvE guilds that are dedicated to this cause. All PvE Dungeon guilds were made fun of and disbanded long ago, when SPvP and WvWvW was all that matter.

I wish you luck but I doubt you will find a pure dedicated guild for this.

Citadel of Flames Path 3

Path 3 in CoF, is the hardest. The torch is an issue due to mobs respawning too fast and the timing of the in sync of the clicking of the torches.

You see the torch takes 3-5 seconds to click, if you are interrupted or have any condition damage on you that causes damage, it messes up the channel.

Also the group has to split up and take each torch on their own. Each torch area can have 3-9 mobs to kill.

Once you get pass that part, the next part is the gauntlet in which you have to hold an area against multiple waves of mobs. Its wave 3 with the flame legion shamans transacting to the flame legion thief spawns that wipes a group alot.

This is where you need a Necro, Mesmer, or Engineer using alot of pets, turrets, or clones, with tons of CC; is needed.

The rest of the path is easy peasy.

hehe. Not to brag but I manage to do all dungeons, PuGing only, no 3rd party talking system and just typed it out, using no bugs, exploits, or cheats, before they were fixed or not known, and have my dungeon master title.

Well rather or not this is true, this really isn’t helping with no one, because I have met alot of people that forced to invite extra of the same classes, by people, that are being a complete kitten about this very situation, and then bail when group doesn’t work with the lack of variety of spells and buffs.

Just the very idea of having a majority of the same profession or all of the same profession to do a dungeon explore mode or FotM, is stupid! No, its not my opinion, the idea itself PURE idiocy because this already hurts the game populations because the most top favorite profession creation is Warrior, Mesmer, Thief, and Guardian.

So if you allow people to use 3, 4, or 5 of the same profession able to group up and complete dungeons without bother with any other professions, what’s the point having the other professions?

Its obvious here the people are Blind and do not see the issue clearly! However, if you cannot allow other professions to have some kind of competitions versus the list I posted, you really have a broken game set up for PvE.

Just to end this with the people that want to be children about this, Arena net just recently, not long ago, made a statement of changing all the old dungeons in a future patch, so this may make this argument, nullified or enforced in the near future.

What ever choice Arena net makes, pretty sure even Arena net would agree, having 3, 4, or 5 of the same profession as a group for Dungeon Explore or FotM, is pretty much goes against their game mechanic ideas.

Now about the issue with Necros, I play a Necro myself, without being level 80 yet. I can see Necros having issues as a majority or full Necro group since the base of their majority of their abilities and attacks are more of a counter of condition and a large put of their stuff is support buffs but hurt the Necro.

Now another issue, which I have no idea if Arenanet fixed or not, is the Dungeon Aura.

Path 4 comes to mind when you have to join orbs all at the same time and then dps the boss again.

Since the Orb issue was a well known bug, players would by pass this phase by taking the boss, 5th boss to be precise, to a certain area, with over 150+ tears. Without a Mesmer with a Warrior or Thief, cannot cause enough damage versus her regen.

Even if it was a Engineers with a single Mesmer with a mixture of grenade and bomb specs, it would be near impossible to execute enough damage, in a fast and constant reactions, due to the time of “throw tear to remove stone debuff”. This goes for any other classes such as Elemetalist, Necros, and Mesmers (Maybe).

I really doubt a majority or all of the “Necros”, “Elementalist”,“Thieves”, or “Guardians” when it comes to Path 4. Path 1 during the Pirate part and Path 2 during the 4 boss. Pretty sure they would have issues with Path 3, but can’t remember which boss it was.

CoE would be kitten near impossible for the for Thieves due to that zombie boss.

SE Path 2 would be an issue for Thieves, Elementalist, and Necros, during that first part.

Path 1 would be an issue for Thieves during 3rd boss, I believe, the one with the two champions.

That’s all I can think of, on top of my head that would be real issues for 4 or 5 of the same profession.

Other than that, that was plenty of examples of issues with 4 or 5 same professions in a group.

So really, you have no defense when claiming 4 or 5 same professions in a group would not be a problem and this stupid crap needs to stop.

There is nothing wrong with variation in a group and the idea of 3, 4, or 5 of the same profession is bad and not idea for PuGing. However over all the idea is just bad.

I am sick and tired of people, the very same people I see in this thread, that spout and throw BS all over the place, and putting down people like me that try to form and balance groups and get accuse of being Elitist type player. If you don’t like it then don’t bother joining the group, but most of all Don’t sit there and accuse us for being an Elitist type player with your lying to the public by harassing us threw whispers or discredit us threw map chat or spamming in your guild about us!

If anything, I think the most of the people I have met on game and in this thread are the Elitist jerks that plague this game and it is YOU people, that ruin the game’s experience.

Ok finally! Group is done, so now I can focus my time on this thread where I am arguing with non-adults type people.

Special Note: Please remember that this thread is about the issues with rude or jerk type of people that throw this stupid junk debate/argument about the 4 or 5 of the same profession in a group can work and that people that try to be different, are bashed for it.

Special Note #2: Please do not forget this is based on PuG, not guild or group with friends, debate.

The bubble issue, in a certain TA path, with 3-4 bubbles with mobs in them to kill. Yes for crying out loud, saying it for many times, both inside and outside the bubble, I have used all weapons, meaning pistols and pistol and shield combo; all kits meaning grenade kit, bomb kit, and mine kits; and the flame thrower.

No Damage of any kind was formed, no obstruction was seen, nothing.

So again this would prevent the Engineers, should it be a group of 4 or 5 engineers, from proceeding on that TA path in that one area.

Now as for the CoF Path 1, no Engineer can provide enough damage for the regen phase for the final boss. The only possible idea I can think of, not tested, is 2 Engineers go for AoE bomb heal and 2 or 3 engineers, go for the grenade spec.

Turret spec would be bad because the crystals would one shot them, even when speced. Going Fire arms spec is bad because you cannot cause enough damage with pistols in time versus the dodging involved.

Now as for Thieves in this matter, having a bunch of thieves is bad because they are squishy and they invis alot. There is a well known annoying bug that the wrong invis will reset the boss. I have no idea if Arenanet fixed this or not. However on this argument if Thieves try to heal, which one of them makes them go invis, it resets the boss.

Now for CoF Path 3, Engineers could not cause enough damage, during the second part of the dungeon where the gauntlet happens. I promise you, even with a well thought out group formations, with Bomb Spec, Turret Spec, Grenade Spec, and whatever the last two spec sets up are.

There is not enough CC when the transaction happens with the Flame Shamans to the Thieves popping up in the same area.

Same issue with Thieves, if too many go invis, to heal, they will lose progress in holding that area.

Now for the extra boss dungeon with the MotF issue.

Since alot of the mobs, total, are the golems that require melee since they reflect all projectiles, we would be stuck with bomb kits. I just tested it out and they reflect all pistols and shield attacks, and grenade attacks.

Leaving you with bomb and mine kits, theoretically, it would be near impossible for a majority or full engineer group because of the tentacles and golems and Engineers are weak if not, useless, at melee range.

Now give me a moment to think of the other Dungeons, I have had issues with certain encounters, in my next post.

No you are wrong, if I could not cause in damage inside or outside the bubble with any of my attacks, kits, turrets, or flame gun, as an Engineer than that is an Engineer issue, and since you cant verify it on your Engineer, you make a pointless argument.

Now this is my last glance at this post, because I will not argue with people that act like children when I can’t focus on this. Until then you will be ignored and so will this thread until I finish my group!

I got a group together for FotM. However the instances I recall by memory that I had issues of being useless due to one of those professions is CoF path 1 and 3, TA not sure in path, FotM extra boss fights and other dungeons.

In about an hour or two, I will post the whole list.

Edit: TA issues, is Engineer thing, I forgot which path but the issue is Engineer cannot cause any melee auto damage. Somewhere in TA there is a point where some mobs, after crossing a bridge, that are behind bubbles, non of my attacks including, kits, and turrets can damage them.

In CoF Path 1, Engineers could not burst down the final boss. In path 3, Engineers could not get pass the gauntlet event.

In FotM, extra boss area, occurs every 2 levels, there are certain mobs that reflect all projectiles, we have no melee.

I’ll post more updates for the all thief issues. Much later.

I can name a bunch of mechanics in game in the FotM and Old Dungeons, that disallow Engineers any progression as well as Thievies if they did indeed go 5 man.

So your statement about a full 5 man group or 4 man group, is false.

Really getting tired of the insults, harassment, and debates about issues of group set ups. There is nothing wrong asking for variation for groups and I am tired of people ruining other people’s reputation by calling them bad and to make fun of them by accusing them of being an Elitist type.

Can I get a Developer quote to back me up on the following issue:

Having 3, 4, or 5 of the same profession in a group, is bad due to the lack of skill variation, Crowd Control, and buffs offered?

If you could help me on this, this would make my Life so much better both in-game and out-game.

[Bug] on Equipment (Graphic Issue)

So I tested this on Necromancer and Elementalist, Charr Race; apparently either the glove model is too small or the race, charr, is too big.

This is not a equipment specific in name, just the glove model itself.

This is the “light” glove model category, or for short “cloth” wearers, an example of the model used for equipping is “Country Gloves”.

The issue you see in the screen shot is not noticeable but I did the best I could to “Blow” it up and add circles, however in dress room, hero panel, and in character appearance in the world; there is a thin… sliver that is noticeable if you are on a bright back ground like a beach setting or something, and it actually shows that the glove model or the Charr model, doesn’t work out and you can actually see inside your character’s wrist and view your inner character model.

Also the sliver if you notice, goes around the entire wrist on both hands.

If you can’t prove your statements, what good are you. You have shown me, more than enough, you are not able to conclude different situations at hand, and your answers are that of generic situations, not special cases or certain exceptions.

To add more to the flaws of this terrible class.

Why is it that Elixirs and Potions, share the same Cool Down interruption with that of your healing ability?

Like I understood that you get penalized if your enemy manages to interrupt your healing skill but should it also interrupt Elixir and Potions that have the same cast time bar with the same penalty? That’s just stupid.

Also why is [Elixir S] prevents you from attacking? Just because it removes stun and prevents all damage towards you for for 3 seconds, that it prevents me in causing damage as well? That’s a bit too much. It’s annoying re-clicking the kits, Flame or Elixir Guns, or my normal weapons again, to continue attacking, compare to other classes that have the same support ability offered in their class?

Also why does [Elixir S] offered in trait [Self-Regulating Defenses] fail to trigger every time? I have been in issues where the 90 second Cool Down is up, and Thieves and Warriors have manage to throw me into a “Down State” by causing more than 25% damage? I mean, it completely defeats the whole purpose of this trait to even exist.

Note: Also, to know that I have gotten this, I received, heard, and seen myself shrink, right when I got into down state, and actually have the [Elixir S] trait buff, during down state.

Also why does the trait “Scope” exist? (Gain 10% crit when standing still.) This defies the entire game and your claims about penalizing those that are standing still and should be moving.

Like I said, this is a disagreement and you are on the wrong thread to express your ideas, that its balance, since you have no proof. However, with that said, I know what’s wrong with the class and the class is indeed not enjoyable anymore and its far beyond balanced.

When you actually can prove to me how the class is balanced to what I have indicated in previous post, then and only then you may have any credit in your opinion, until then, you are wasting my time and there is nothing further to explain about something that is as clear as water.

This isn’t about thought, this is plain fact of instant cast versus 1-2 second cast time. This affects both PvE and PvP. Clearly you have not had much time or experience in understanding its flaws fully.

Bomb Kits and Healing kits, Bomb when speced, does way to little damage and takes way to long to cast multiple in time. Healing kit takes way… to long to cast all the abilities. Again when combine with mine kits, anyone would know, why melee the engineer, just range it.

Thief, double pistols, invis, double pistoles, invis, double pistols. Game over. Same tactic can be used with warrior, bam head shot!

Flame thrower is way to low in damage and there is nothing to increase the range of the FT, same goes for elixir gun, all that’s useful is the AoE heal, everything else is a joke.

[Slick Shoes] is again useless because chasing people is bad and even so, why bother to chase when you can stack condition damage while they run away, let that finish them off and just snare so you can refresh it.

[Rocket Boots] and [Overcharged Shot], seriously I used them both, and both abilities are crap, while in knock down stat, I can still be attacked by other players, unlike…. Thiefs who can teleport jump you or warriors with double axes can just jump to slash you and keep on attacking.

[Utility Goggles], I never found once… any use out these things for any situation. Never once. Not to mention the [Battering Ram], I mean you pretty much dead if you are in close combat melee, how the hell is this suppose to do any good?

Finally we have the [Tool Kit] way to kitten slow when using [Thwack] chain, [Box of Nails] really… the bleed damage is so…. low it would make any pvper cry. [Pry Bar] would be useful, if you didn’t miss. Even at close range, a player can strafe left or right, doesn’t need to dodge, and this ability misses.

Arenanet claims they are going to play a major part in E-sports? Don’t make me laugh!

This class is nothing more than a JOKE to bother to take this into account for any serious PvP.

Forget to add a comment on grenade kits, I HATE grenade kits, even though they actually work, sorta.

The main reason I REFUSE to go back to the grenade kit is the spamming and left click of the AoE ground targeting, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over…..!!!!!!!! For crying out loud, if you give it auto targeting then you cant control where it goes but if you go manual you get this boring spamming of ground AoE targeting.

On top of that if you target something under water, which has auto targeting, and you switch to another target, it will attack your last target first, even if there was no cast time, then switch to the new target to attack automatically.

Also the same with Bomb kit, the spamming of bombs and even though you can turn on auto targeting for close melee range bombs, its still taxing when moving around.

Again the Engineer is bad class. Its very taxing and requires alot of manual work outs with RNG involved, compare to other classes that can TAB target and click one button to auto hit the target 100% and only have to worry about dodging or moving,

Arenanet did not clearly…. thought out this class well and its still a slap together class. It requires alot of work to even bother to make this class half kitten work, and even the over all looked, its not even that rewarding and its very non-forgiving.

I am afraid I am going to have to agree, Engineers are joke when it comes to PvP.

Potions take to long to hit the ground in time to counter a burst, compare to a player hitting a single button for instant cast.

There are way to many delays when using Turrets, Potions, and Kits when compared to an instant class. Why does everything take 0.5 seconds to 1 second to cast, the takes another 1 second for: a potion to the ground target, a turret to react in time to a target, and a kit to place down something?

What’s worst is that the farther you place your ground targeting or the target, for the turrets, the longer it takes for the ability to react and activate.

Elixirs are the worst joke of them all. You cannot control what the outcome is and that’s just too much RNG compare to a game that is against RNG.

Look at [Elixir U], there are major issues with it.

One gives a mesmer’s invis line which you can walk threw to become invis, however the problem is if you place it on top of you, you wont get the invis. If you throw it too far ahead, while moving, the actual area of the Elixir, you wont get the buff and then you have to guess where the line is at to get the buff, even though graphic part is in the wrong…. place.

Also when you shoot threw this spell, you don’t get confusion, as said by Devs.

Then you get a Shadow Mist line which if an enemy is on top of it, they get blinded for the entire duration, however… if you throw it on top of the enemy, the target does not become blind unless the target moves forward.

It also is the same issue if the projectiles that were shot at you, will reach you, head on, when you get this line.

So like in detail, lets say I threw the vial and got this mist during a channel projectile state. If half of the projectile channel goes threw the mist while the mist just formed, it doesn’t stop the rest of the projectiles, you receive the full damage. Yet if I used a shield and activated [Magnetic Inversion] at any time during a projectile channel, it will reflect any “New” projectiles coming.

So why cant the shadow mist, cause the other half of a projectile channel, miss, like its suppose to do?

You also get a Guardian ability that reflects projectiles, however like the shadow mist, if you cast it at any time during a projectile channel and a single projectile, made it threw, it doesn’t matter, you still get the full damage. Which is crazy since it suppose be the same ability like [Magnetic Inversion] but in a different form.

Here’s my favorite, there is a 4th ability with this potion, apparently it was scrapped during BWE, because when I throw it, nothing happens…. Go Figure! And its Cool Down stat starts.

Turrets are by far, the most useless thing ever! They have their own set of rules. They don’t have to assist you on your target and they will attack something that’s magically underground. You can actually see this happens when your “Rocket” or “Net” turret turns magically and faces down towards the ground and shoots.

Not only that they have very low health, even when traited, to make them useful.

Flame turret doesn’t work unless close range, which in melee can spam AoE cleave type ability to kill it. The Blind smoke it offers, yeah what a joke and they nerfed it to make it even a more of a joke.

Mine Kits are pathetic, you can throw down all the mine kits you want before you, and even trait to increases its damage, still doesn’t provide a fraction of damage compared to a thiefs burst and are easily able to avoid.

Again there is nothing we, the costumers, can do now. I already listed what needs to be done to improve the block/friend list situation, and the emote situation.

This is up to Arenanet to implement the ideas, suggested to be enforced on Guild Wars 2.

Once the /Block has been updated so the people you are avoiding cannot track you, that will fix alot problems.

Once emotes can be invisible from people that are blocked, that fixes that situation.

Once /emotes and /em (Personal Emotes) can be right clicked and can be reported for via /report “Spam”, /report “Verbal Abuse”, or /report (Future Idea: Harassment); only then will things be situated.

Side Note: This is also why you do not see the emotes: /rude /flip or /moon on Guild Wars 2, to avoid such harassment, unlike on other MMOs.

Until then, like I said, the ideas are there, but the programs need to be updated on Arenanet’s part.

I did not want to comment on this but this has been mentioned twice now.

I like the text box idea, but here is the problem with text box explaining a report situation.

Using “World of Warcraft” ’s petition system, as an example, for “Guild Wars 2”.

There were major issues with this system. Trolls, Bad People with ill intent, or people that cannot speak well enough grammatically, foreign language, or people that are not that smart enough; to explain the situation.

Alot of WoW’s petitions were not working because if the person reading the report, read the report wrong or mis-understood what the person was saying, or the situation entirely; the costumer would accuse the Investigator as a poor investigator and asked that his/her situation be looked over again.

This would cause more investigation to be had rather it be necessary or unnecessary. This would also cause “Guild Wars 2” investigation, go into back draft since millions of people are making reports every day, thus making things longer.

That’s why in “Guild Wars 2” to avoid this, they offer categories for you to make a quick report on a player, and Arenanet throws it into a category for people to look over the situation.

There for, Arenanet, enforces the idea that you read their rules fully, because all investigations are final, to avoid loop holes, that people purposely leave on purpose if they are not satisfied of the outcome they are seeking.

A good example is “robinsiebler.3801” ’s situation, where he/she felt embarrassed that /block <name> was not enough and was offended by the emotes spammed there after.

No, there is nothing special about these functions. Pretty much all these methods are the same basic methods as any chat channel or Online game, follows.

Now to the ideas, you missed, I mentioned already, please read the replies towards “robinsiebler.3801” ’s issues, and look for the key issues of problems I mentioned about the bad designs of “Block” and “Emote” situations.

The issues in reply, list the solutions that has been covered by other Online games, a long time. When the issues I listed, has been implemented on “Guild Wars 2”, then will the “Harassment” report should be included as a feature, until then, we have alot of un-finished programs that need to be updated.

The problem of this, is I have alot of bad experience from “World of Warcraft” and I have a very good idea of what can be dealt with and what cannot.

The main point is that some of the ideas or problems I see posted is people being “Jerks”.

There is nothing you can do for people being jerks, however you can offer suggestions to prevent them from being jerks by take away their tools, such as emotes, abuse with block/friend list, and other tricks they come up with.

Other than that, say you do use the “Harassment” report function, and hypothetically they get banned for 3 days or more, does it solve the “Root” of the problem no, does it solve your problem, no because you may or may not, face this issue again by the same person, using the same tricks, or a new person using the same tricks as that person before, you reported.

So in the end you have to find ways to stop the “Root” of the cause and then once the player starts using new “Tricks” that has been over-looked, then you can you use the “Harassment” report function.

Until then… you can’t report a person for being a “Jerk”. It is the internet after all and really… its not like you can take them to court or something because they can argue “Freedom of Speech”.

Yeah… this would not work.

Botting, Hacking, or Exploiting; are three completely different situations.

Scamming and Cheating; cheating is the same as hacking so its pointless and scamming and cheating are two completely different situations.

Inappropriate Behavior doesn’t cover everything such as emote abuses or personal emote abuses. It leads the idea open to be abused since people of all ages play this game; so in terms anyone of anything can say I think the situation was deemed “Inappropriate Behavior” there fore I report it for whatever reason.

Also the “Objectionable Character Name” really see no need to change “Inappropriate Name” function.

Finally to sum this up, the changes you offer, makes it harder for the team that is in charge of investigating these types of situations, into organizing this into categories.

I understand adding more report functions may lead to the disdain eye view to a person reporting but again, you cant just throw it all together in one pile.

Again I understand that we have people of all ages playing this game but if you love and enjoy playing this game, you have to have some intelligence on your part, to know how to use the report function. Failure to read and understand the rules, makes the rules pointless.

Sometimes you have to put in the extra effort to understanding the rules to have Arenanet be able to help you.

You can sit there and argue about this all you want but this is not a harassment situation, unless “Block” feature has been updated, had “Block” feature been working as it should, you would have never seen the emote messages.

There is nothing Arenanet can do if he/she is graphically using an in-game emote that causes the character to move in a certain way to perceive an ill and inappropriate way.

For that, you use the Report “Spamming” function. However since you cannot report spams for abuse use of /emotes or personal emotes like /em, this again cannot be used in a report “Harassment” situation.

I am sorry that happen to you but again, this is the main reason why report feature “Harassment” would be mis-used, and am against why this feature would be implemented.

Again this situation would not help you, this is again another flaw design issue with the “Block” feature.

I’ve already reported issues with the “Block” system, 5-7 weeks ago.

The issues with “Block” is that:

- It doesn’t block emotes.
- Emotes cannot be reported. (/em “bleep” “bleep” and “bleep”) in example.
- The player you blocked, can still join your group.
- The player can be invited by someone else in group.
- The player can talk to you still in group chat, even if he/she is blocked.

So again, this can not be a harassment issue, until block is more up to par.

For this kind of situation, its a form of being a jerk, but this is a program design issue, the best thing to fix this is by offering a feature that if you block those two, you can no longer be viewed as a friend by those two people.

You can also suggest that they include a feature that hides your location and server location, while online.

That or to request a feature that allows you to block those two from seeing your account ID.

Other than that, there is nothing Arenanet could do, and a harassment report would not work for you in this situation.

The problem is with including this function/feature, is people abusing or misusing this, yes I think it should be included, no I think it should definitely not be included due to reason said above.

Using report player for “Verbal abusement” is alot clearer to the Dev or Team, investigating the cause because they are looking for words that are being abused in subliminal messaging , slang words, or hidden messages that is common, uncommon, or old time words; used in todays’ chat windows.

I understand you might meet a creep or two that might use offensive sexual suggestions or intent towards you, racist words, or perhaps insulting your well being, however there is the report “Verbal Abuse” offered.

You are advise to BLOCK “<Name>” and that’s all that should be done.

- Failure to do that, is fault on your part.
- Purposely setting up of person by leading them into a bann by getting them to say the words you want them to say and then report them, is also bad on your part and makes you no better than them. For that kind of situation, in my opinion, you should both be banned.

Finally if you believe the situation is out of hand, meaning that the person you report continues to harass you by the following:

- By passing the Block system by logging on or creating, alts to continue to talk to you.
- Used Racist words against you.
- Used Sexual harassment categories towards you.
- Threaten you in any way with the use of “Real Life”.
- Black Mailing you.

You are to Screenshot and send it by email or support ticket to Arenanet for emergency extreme cases.

You are then still responsible to “Block” said person from receiving new messages from said player, otherwise continuing to build up a case against the said player, again will likely make the investigators on your part become suspicious of the situation.

Note: Does not count if the player is bypassing the Block, if said player, is speaking threw alts.

Not asking you to give everyone an exotic, pre-cursor, and a rare. That was pure RNG.

However to safely fix this without causing much drama….

Is to give everyone by in-game mail, the [Ancient Karka Shell] and the [Ancient Karka Shell Box].

Sure people will complain but I see more people claiming they are more interested in getting the 20 slot bag and the shell for the time spent in the event.

Since they are Unique, meaning you cant have more than one on any character equipped or used in bag slots. This won’t over power anything.

In my opinion, Fractals of the Mist is a complete fail.

I’ve been playing MMOs for 12 years, could you shed some light about your post?

Since Arenanet did admit clearly that Ascension Gear is an upgrade above Exotic and that as you go deeper into the dungeon, like really deep into the dungeon, that requires Ascension gear and Agony Infusionment to kill certain mobs.

Could you explain to me, how to avoid what you just argue against, on that certain type of post? Because I see no work around it and really why is your post, as many other posters, use the phrase “Gear Isn’t the Issue its skill”, because this dungeon just proves this argument wrong.

Also could you give me a better example how to find good players, because of the dungeon being new, its the new excitement, and I already found people that lie… yes LIE, about actually being experienced at their class, able to comprehend simple puzzles and team work, and their gear; I find alot of the PuG groups I form, failing alot.

So while its easy for you to say in your post your claims, the flaw in it self is that I am trying to find good players using different methods, while your post is a standard edition of what an in-experienced MMO player would say when they do not meet up with challenges like this.

I look forward to what you actually offer in your next post.

Also to add more, since I hit the 5,000 word limit in the last post.

Here are some real issues that make the dungeon extremely un-fun.

- When you find bad players that AFK during a dungeon run without saying anything and causes the group to replace that player but to do that, you have to leave the dungeon, losing any progression.

- When 1 or 2 players refuse to die because you get stuck in an area that has many mobs that respawn, infinitely, and thus instead of wiping as a team, so the whole group respawns, me or other players have to wait around doing nothing because we can’t respawn while 1 or 2 other players, play around to the point they are “Trolling” about not dieing.

- The Swamp dungeon is pure annoying because you can give hints what to do, but 100% of the extra info, the player has to learn themselves, as that extra info can only be learned by them because if you try to explain all the small details, like the traps, what mob snares, or the walls that pop and appear, they get bored and leave the group.

- Also the whole group wipe thing so you can re-spawn, is probably the most dumbest idea to be implemented in a dungeon history. Since players cant respawn on their own, I have met players that find the same issues like me, when people by accident die in weird areas that players cannot reach to res those people, and causes everyone in the group to be annoyed at you because they now have to die, receive a repair bill, for you to come back alive.

I thought this dungeon was suppose to be rewarding, not a punishment?

You people are amazing…. every single one your posts.

So because I actually take the time to make a good balance group, make sure the gear is in check, and sit around waiting for people to learn the dungeon; give or take of learning it myself and offering some advice; since most of you agree that it takes players that are willen to learn or have a brain, that makes me an Elitist type.

Do you know how many post here I have laughed at because it was

A: “I beat it with Guildies.”
B: “Go do it with friends.”
C: “I didn’t have any issues with my PuG groups.”
D: “He’s talking like an Elitist so its him thats the problem.”

I want each and every one of you to open your mind for once and actually consider the situations that were indicated that makes this dungeon fail.

A: “I don’t have guildies or a guild to snap my fingers, as what you indicate to me as what you have to your ability, you do this dungeon whenever and successfully.”

B: "I don’t know any people that is playing Guild Wars 2, because the very few people that I did know, no longer play GW2 for whatever reason. Yet you people are are saying that its easy to snap your fingers and be-friend anyone. Sorry but that is NOT how the world works. So once again you are thinking about your own good fortune. There for your post is invalid to the situation at hand.

C: Again because I found many, unwilling or unintelligent, PuG players, that makes me an Elitist. Have you ever thought for once, outside the box, that the reason I make sure the group I set up is balanced and geared because I look for indication of players that know how to play the game and show they are experienced at the game?

No… because many of you are too busy to jump to the conclusion that its the OP that’s the problem. I am sick of it, people like you drive forums into redundant threads like this without actually providing any insight.

I bet you posters never thought once about the idea that, if people are not willing to learn, not motivate to do the dungeon, and just drop group because they are not “Breezing” threw the dungeon as many of you bad posters have put in this thread, they drop group thinking its the group and not them; then no that is dungeon being fail not me.

I promise you, most of the replies on this thread are unhelpful and if anything under sighted about the situation.

Finally, the conclusion that many of you are not willing to hear, think, or listen; the dungeon is fail when I have to spend 6+ hours, forming many groups to find motivated PuGs, willing to learn the dungeons themselves or find people that want work as a group.

Please by all means, keep posting what I mention about, your post are unproductive and useless to what the real problem is.

Bloody Hell! 6 hours later group number 15, I manage to find enough people to complete 3 whole runs, without too much issues.

Some of these dungeons just suck!

Swamp Stage and the stage with a Gigantic moving statue. This is suppose to be Level 1? I would hate to see what Level 2 is about.

Well I just dont seem to understand how for 4 hours, I have made over 12 groups, carefully checked on group set up, and they all majorly fail at Level 1 difficulty, when requeueing for 2-3 fractals.

Sorry but I am going to throw the word “Privileged” . So… glad you can actually get to do the puzzle, to Fing bad for those cant seem to find decent players to actually do FoM.

Its a fail design.
