Some parts I agree, some I dont.

However since its only a personal opinion after 2 weeks of even being live, the first impression wasn’t good. When you have that, it sorta reflects a flaw. You can have 100 posters agreeing its okay and 100 posters disagreeing that there are other flaws but, again first impressions are what count.

Since I, in my own choice, decided not to bother with legendarys, the crafting system being a joke since most of it is for cosmetic and nothing meaningful, on top of that finding achievements a bore, dont bother making alts because its too much of a hassle, and gearing these alts up to exotic; the game’s appeal is becoming less and kitten ther to even check up on it. The whole…. “Dynamic Event” is becoming repetitive.

So what’s left for a game’s appeal? Nothing much after this patch. Frankly Arenanet needs to experiment more because its boring right now, when you take away the grinding proposed “end game” situations.

Yeah but the problem is, which people are distracted by that statement, was when I came back to that area and I quote “I felt lost, confused, and flustered” as in re-learning a zone that is no longer the same.

Frankly, I am kinda tired explaining myself, sharing opinions of my own, only to get back lashed by the bad side of the community.

I clearly said that mobs and events need to be toned down to be balanced but seeing how people would argue over the dumbest of things, tells me this game host a bad community and when that happens, you basically no longer have a game.

I will enjoy my fond memories of leveling up my Charr characters but this game is leaning towards an “Asian type MMO” set up and I… don’t like those kinds of MMO.

Sorry but I play MMOs on a casual gameplay, I dont play Hardcore mode and really there has been many discussion of Hardcore and Elitist mode people/players are a dying breed on many other MMO threads.

You may be 1% that enjoys the difficulty but if I wanted that, I play a different MMO. What you are saying you like, goes against what was said what GW2 was going to be for causal players.

However to sum up your statement, you basically said “You will learn… to like it.

Which is a wrong.

There’s a living story and there’s pushing something too far. I understand why the events and wild life are high is because of the heavy requirement of achievements, plus this stupid idea of new small content updates every 2 weeks; which kind of kills the point of being a casual MMO.

Yes, I could ignore the event all together but then again, as a casual I should be able to come back to the game at whenever and be able to catch up naturally, with this suncove patch its all “thrown” at you whichever which way and its very unorganized.

@ CETheLucid.3964

The point I was trying to make here, is in example but not related to the main point, I couldn’t stop to open a bottle water, add some tea, shake it, and take a drink without something killing me each time.

Now going back to the main point, after the karka event in 2012, a couple months back; I fully explored this isle and did the events.

When coming back and trying to catch up to the update on this place, I felt confused, died alot, forced into situations without given a time to absorb certain situations, and most of the time (if not all), I really couldn’t stop for a breather to read the text or listen to NPCs, get all the small detail changes to the environment, and most of all step back and do the achievements, required to explore; without getting into events or attack by mobs.

There is a point to making it more diverse but like I said, it was over done. It is not in the flow of the rest of the world in dynamic events and its the same annoying mob spawn areas and respawn rate as in Orr.

Frankly, I am not seeing, understanding, or enjoying the PvE side of this new updated area and have to say, its quite a Fail if I have to go to other websites to explain some of the story but I am not being exposed to the “small” details on the isle.

The achievements need to be nerfed as that is what is the whole reason the craziness. This experiment of updating content every 2 weeks, doesn’t justify this situation. Otherwise ton down the events and cluster of mobs to a proper level.

I was there during the event in killing the Karka and even though the event “bombed” at the end, I had fun exploring the isle; fully. Now, I am doing it again for the story update and this place sucks.

I can’t sit for 2 seconds (literally) at the old entrance camp sites, without some event or wild life; attack the place every 3 minutes; after a previous event or wild life situation.

On top of that, I am constantly bombarded by NPCs that you have to kill, to the point that this place is more “Clustered” than other parts of the world and its so bad to the mark that I am no longer admiring the isle on its out take but more I am trying “Not to die” by additional mobs or high respawn rates or stumbling on to a mob veteran mobs (which seems to be everywhere).

I am not quite sure what you did Arenanet to the place but its just so “clustered” with mobs and events and now with this article update that you want to update the game with small patches every 2 weeks, it really seems a bit too much on a casual’s perspective.

Pretty sure you did not mean to make the Isle like that and “Fun” was on your perspective but the amount of “Trash Mobs” just to explore, needs to be toned down by alot so there is some breathing space to actually absorb the surroundings.

I understand that almost 2 weeks has passed but I am really turned off by the “Cluster” of events and mobs, on top of that, frustrated in trying to do these achievements.

Honestly, maybe in the benefit of the doubt, after trying to readjust my gameplay back to getting use to GW2 game mechanics, I am being a little rusty.

However, if I am still turned off after giving it one more day with 12 hours of gameplay, I honestly dont think I will bother or look forward to the May 28th patch.

Everything in this post is a personal opinion but in this latest patch, it really does suck. I dont know but it just seems to be harsh on players that come back at a later date and seems to be a on a path that is “unforgiving” to players that leave 3 or more weeks (If future zones are going to be this “clustered”).

Dear Arenanet was Biofeedback used?

@ marnick.4305

Note: Please note that this is a summary of what the intention of “Biofeedback” is to be used for, there are more in-depth articles that explains what it “can” be used to further studies.

Article:

Valve Psychologist Experiments With Biofeedback From Games

A Valve psychologist wants in your head. In a move that looks like a chapter from the Aperture Science handbook, the makers of Portal and Half-Life have hired a professional to make better use of player feedback for game development. Valve Psychologist, Mike Ambinder, is exploring how biofeedback can tell a developer how a player is responding to a game.

At the NeuroGaming 2013 Conference, the Valve psychologist talked about Biofeedback in gameplay and how the gaming company measures physiology such as sweat and heart rate to enhance the gaming experience.

“One thing we are very interested in is the notion of biofeedback and how it can be applied to game design,” Ambinder said. For him there are two side of the equation. First of all, Valve can use “Physiological signals to quantify an emotional state while people are playing the game.” They want to get an idea of how people emotionally experience the game “in a somewhat more granular fashion than you can get from just watching them or hearing them think aloud or asking them questions after the fact.”

The other idea is that they can potentially plug that kind of information into the game while you are playing it. Your emotional responses can affect what happens on the screen.
“The more interesting side of the equation is what you can do when you incorporate physiological signals into the gameplay itself.”

The Valve psychologist goes on to describe today’s gaming experience. “You map player intent into onscreen behavior,” using a keyboard, mouse or controller. That’s great, but Ambinder thinks that game developers are “missing another act of some players’ experience.”

pc games Aperture Science Wants In Your Head“What is the player’s emotional state while they are playing the game? How are they enjoying the game? …If we can start tapping into that, all of the sudden you have this wealth of data that you could use to create, in theory, more novel and more compelling gameplay experiences.”

So they want to use Biofeedback to make better games. The Valve psychologist mentioned the experiments that were done a few years ago and said the results have already starting being used. Measurements of the pH content in sweat affected how Left 4 Dead was made in order to create a more enjoyable experience.

In their experiments, a mod of a game was made that gave the players four minutes to shoot 100 enemies. If the player stayed calm, the four minutes would go by and the enemies would go down easily. If the player got nervous, the timer would go faster making the game harder.

Another cool idea is that they made a version of Portal 2 that can be played with your eyes. “The mouse works well for what it does, but the eyes are quicker.” He said if you are playing a game where accuracy and speed are important, the eyes are a more appealing option.
But what does it all mean?

Certainly Valve is trying to make cooler games, but the potential for this kind of research goes a lot farther than that. The ability to play games with your eyes instead of manipulating something with your hands would be a giant deal for gaming accessibility. What about the idea that your emotional state could affect what happens in the game? If a game like that became an E-sport, would gamers need to be tested for anti-anxiety medication?

So after reading a couple articles of “Neurogaming 2013” and “Biofeedback”, we have companies out in the public that are using “Biofeedback” to create video games.

To make matters worse, a company named “Valve” has publicly stated they are hiring a “Psychologist” to make future video games to so-call “Making a video game experience” by using “Biofeedback”.

Due to privacy terms, most of the companies are not listed publicly, in using “Biofeedback”.

What I want to know Arenanet, was “Biofeedback or any related programs” used during production of Guild Wars 2?

If no, are there any plans to use “Biofeedback or related programs” in any future testings?

Weapon Facility Idea: Yes/No

Shadowlancer.7102

So…

Part of the community wants to have the final dungeon preserved in uniqueness while the other side wants the dungeon to be around for good.

In attempting to find the “middle man” about this whole event and ordeal, an unlikely idea came to mind which may or may not be favored.

Could it be possible to preserve the dungeon in the Fractals, with an extreme low chance of encountering it? Ofcourse with the removal of the unique rewards it provided during the special world event.

I know some people will object or favor this kind of idea, but I was thinking maybe it would be some kind of solution to preserve the content you made Arenanet without it going to waste for all the hard work you put into it.

I dont know… what do you think “Player Community”?

Living Story Flaw on Environmental Update

So while this continues on with each weapon facilities being discovered, I noticed that the Map or even the environments around each area, are not being updated permanently to reflect their effect on the world.

In the 1st weapons facility you had the final room with a large stone in the middle that in the end, ended up exploding the entire area.

Due to the depth of how far and wide the hole was, how deep it went, with how large the room was, by exploding that area, shouldn’t a humungous hole be shown on the map between Wayfarer Foothills and Diessa Plateau in the mountains?

Something of that magnitude would cause some sort of cave it or mountain collapse.

I am rather disappointed at this finding.

Edit: When I mean “Map”, I am talking about the World Map, not the actual environment.

Arena-net needs to do the following:

  • Put set prices on end game items on how high an item can go to be sold on Auction House.
  • Add Gold to Leader Boards for Public Records. (World Wide)
  • Remove Legendary Weapons (Not Pre-Cursor) from the Auction House.

That should balance out the entire economics of the entire game.

One last thing, the more you guys try to argue over this on my thread, the more you just prove my points.

Shadowlancer.7102

Didn’t bother reading the new post because I wanted to prove a point in about the topic of “Raiding” in question, when I was arguing with “raiden.9024”.

This is another top raiding guild that is known threw out the world for players that play Blizzard, that is now quitting.

For those that are not familiar with this, these top raiding guilds are what drived “Blizzard Game: World of Warcraft” known as “Elitist players” for PvE Raiding and whether people want to debate or deny that such players had any part of shaping WoW, these Top raiding guilds are what made the decisions of making World of Warcraft expansions.

So here’s the quote:

Exodus

" Yes, I’ll confirm the news here for anyone not in the loop or questioning the rumors. will no longer continue to function as a 25 man raiding guild. No plan to go 10 man as of yet, but that really doesn’t matter because 25 man is what the hardcore raiding scene really is about and Exodus will no longer be competing in such a scene.

Why? How? Well this game isn’t to blame. In the last few years this game (despite many people quitting and guilds dying) isn’t to blame for vodka/Exodus’ demise it’s the raiding community. I don’t mean this is a pointing the finger sort of way, it’s an inevitable sort of flaw in the competition of the top end raiders. You see… we’ve basically been killing ourselves off slowly since day 1.

In the last few years we’ve certainly picked up the pace, but the “hardcore raider” is a dying breed and it’s certainly becoming a more difficult breed to be a part of. What I mean by this is of course the time commitment and the level of shear dedication and determination it takes and costs to be at the very top. This isn’t to poke fun, but to just shed light of why many people, and subsequently, many guilds will fall. Raiding for many many hours on end is fun, CAN be exciting, and at the end of it all can really prove who really wants that world first/us first/realm first the most.

Unfortunately we (hardcore raiders) pushed too hard. Tier after tier we just keep adding to the insanity in both farming preparations and actual progressing. It’s almost as if progression itself never really ends after a end tier boss dies.

Right now there are a few legit world first guilds left. The competition is slim because the competition is literally eating each other (well not that literally). Good luck to everyone left in the race for this expac, but I don’t know how much longer this sort of thing can last. "

Now going back to my point with “raiden.9024” about the topic of “Raiding”.

Now again this is the 5th or 6th guild that is resigning from its position due to the fact that video games like Blizzard tried to make raiding so hard and so competitive that even they could not handle it, and in the end, left hard core raiders regretting the path and decisions they walked on as a whole guild.

Each guild that has resigned except for 1 or 2, has been so burnt out in “Raiding” that most of them don’t even want to try for even 10 man raids.

So again, I hope Guild Wars 2 and Elder Scrolls Online are reading these resignations that “Raiding” in Blizzard’s version, is bad for an MMO and that the proof is there that is not required in a video game to make a video game great.

Noted: That there has been no specific information of what “Raiding” is in TESO version of what they think it is, but I seriously hope they take note, what version of “Raiding” kills even the most devoted of players for what was in the end, unnecessary and out of bounds.

Edit: Clarification

For anyone that wants to Troll or Mislead this post. Here’s what was argued. That Blizzard offered more content than Guild Wars 2. Basically anyone who has played World of Warcraft knows what was added and that Guild Wars 2 content is a lot more viable that tries to do new things and new ways. If you like rehashed content over the course of 5 years or more, never changing, never different, then WoW’s for you.

What content means to Blizzard is the following categories: Raids (LFR, Normal, Heroic) modes, Battle Grounds (PvP), Arenas (PvP), Dailys, Dungeons (Normal, Heroic, Medal Runs) modes, and Gear Farming.

Patch 5.1: Dailys, Raids, PvP
Patch 5.2: Dailys, Raids, PvP
Patch 5.3: Dailys, PvP, and Scenarios (Which is no different than Living Story)

This sums it up but I am sure this can be debatable.

Actually I did answer “Ursan” ’s question.

Now for your question, which was also answer. If you are regarding to items like “Dyes”, “Weapon and Armor Skins”, “Special One time Event items”, or “Special items from the Black Lion Chest”, or even the “Mystic Forge Items”, ect ect.

Yes Legendaries does impact those items to on their value because people want to get a certain amount gold from those items to purchase Legendary components which has already been set and inflated by the value of a legendary, so you are forced to make money from other items to pay them.

Even if a player does not use the gold to purchase any item to form a legendary, the same basic components used for Legendaries are used in other recipes and will never change.

Even if you use the gold to buy gems to save, purchase, or re-sell for more gold, the gold you made from those items; were in fact affected by the Legendary Weapon.

So there is… no way out of this chain effect.

My statements are stupid. Wow…

So what you see is “Eternity” is decreasing in price on public paper, another item increase in price to make the value of “Eternity” to meet said quota and profit above its value; while over all still increases its value.

Legendaries, thanks to Arenanet making a big deal out of them, are a high value item of desire. Since most of the trade skill system, mystic forge, and vender all revolves around the Legendary; yes Legendary weapons “set the value” of economic items.

Not necessarily, if you were playing Guild Wars 2 during head start. You very well know that alot of items were changed from Karma to Drop item in the loot table or vice versa. Alot of items were changed but people that were smart, got a huge boost in gold, to buy people up cheap and re-sale the value of the item at their price.

That’s why you see a single seller that hundreds or thousands of said particular item because they bought it cheap at 1 copper in value or cost and basically resold at 400-1000% profit during the prime time of Guild Wars 2.

By having the money those few people can buy anyone out and re-sale any item they wish.

However judging that you either failed to notice this or joined late into this game, you really seem to misinformed and mispositioned on your state of being.

Okay well whether you read this and reply or not.

It really doesn’t matter if they work together or not, all these few people, are well aware on who has which field in the marketing and they all contribute by forcing one another to raise the value on any of the items to increase their own profit.

So yes, go ahead and put on your tin foil hat, it clearly shows you know nothing about marketing and possibly a little to advance for your mind.

That or you are the very people that contribute to the cause and you basically are just trying to mislead the thread.

Have you forgotten that the Legendary holders are nothing but 5 people working together? This is a controlled situation.

One person holds the value of the Legendary.
Second Person holds the value of the Materials needed for Legendary.
Third person holds the value of Trade skill materials needed to skill up said tradeskills to make the higher level products for the final stages of the Legendary Materials.
Fourth person buys up unsuspecting sellers that put items super cheap without known the value because of the crazy prices and then resells at a higher value.
Fifth person Watches the market for when any new items that come up and watches the loot tables. (Since the loot table is always designed to give materials for legendary making and Ectos.)

Not sure where you going with this man, you have yet to provide a valued argument or point in derailing this thread.

This is such a poor cheap example. Wal-mart just buys everything up at a cheap price by forcing its opponent to lower there prices. If said opponent cannot afford goods from location A to be resold at Location B they either have to sell out or quit all together.

Then with no competitors, Wal-mart will be the ones setting the prices at what ever price and make people “Think its cheap and getting a good deal” when the quality or value of the item is dirt.

Which is kinda sorta what’s happening right now. We got Legendary holders setting the price whenever they want, never selling the legendary and making a 300% profit on a inflated price on the materials needed to make a Legendary, which makes the listing fee voided.

Yeah he can, if he can make a profit above the listing fee, meaning for example.

By increasing the value of the legendary, he creates the false illusion of the item’s value. So in turn any items that is used part or in making this Legendary item (Which basically the whole set up of the Mystic Forge and Trade Skills in this game), can be increased as well.

So as long as the seller makes 150%, 200%, or 300% profit on the materials used to make this Legendary; that was based on the inflation value of a legendary in the first place; the listing fee is voided.

Yes but here is the problem, you are saying “If the Legendary item” gets sold. As long as the item doesn’t sell, the seller can freely increase the price of the Legendary, with no strings attached, to create a false value to trick the economy to sell his other goods to make profit that way.

Sorry to say but that’s inflation by the abuse of “Market Speculation” being manipulated.

Now I am making another post and not editing because its in another form of a problem which makes this off topic but relates to this post.

Based on the inflation we are seeing each day, only Arena-net can see in the records if those Legendaries are sold or not, which in many old and previous threads, when the community brought up in concerns, that they were watching those sellers closely.

Now what I learned is that to cause inflation, you play this little game called, “I think I can sell this for a higher price” or “Hype of the value of an item threw Rumors and deceivement”.

Now the problem with the second method, which is being used to set the value of prices in the Black Market, is that those people who are making these Legendaries are not sticking to the same prices and definitely not selling those legendaries.

In fact the people that are selling those Legendaries are purposely increasing the prices of that item to cause a false illusion that the value of the item has increased.

By doing this the Black Market (The community base) is auto trying to balance itself to match the value of the Legendary threw goods and (Gems). However the problem is while the market is adjusting itself, “other goods” with the same group of people that are selling those Legendaries, are able to increase their own other goods (Either on Main Account or a different account) and make a profit by selling it at the price they want because society was auto adjusting to match the value of the Legendary.

Thus in an example with dyes, say Legendary holder/attempting to sell, had a (rare) dye for sell for 45 gold. The economy says thats too expensive, so to by pass this, the legendary seller, raises the value of the Legendary higher, making the dye seem alot reasonable or cheaper to ask for that price.

However because the Legendaries are really not being sold, Legendary sellers can keep raising its own value to gain a profit on other goods without selling the Legendary at all. Since there is no rule how high a value of an item can go for, in the fake illusion of said price, the only way to stop someone is too “Crash” the market on purpose saying that item’s value is worth nothing.

Now of course, no such thing can be done on the internet when it comes to a virtual item that does not exist physically.

Arenanet is in charge of how the value of items are suppose to go for but just how far are we going to late inflation keep rising? At this rate in 6 months a single legendary will be 5,000 dollars soon.

Current of Today:

3.5 gold = 100 gems
100 gems = 2.5 gold

Example: Eternity

3200 gold

3200/2.5 G = 1280 times 100 gems = 128, 000 gems / 8,000 gems = 16

16 times 100$ = 1,600 dollars total. Give or take on Gem to Conversion to Gold.

Are we sure this is really healthy in the economy to allow inflation into our economy? Like I know in a couple of days the ration of Legendaries are going higher and higher at a rate of 3-5 gold per 5-6 days.

Which is causing inflation in Gem/Gold conversions vica versa which affects the rest of the market in increasing inflation on items of any kind like a good example trade materials or Dyes.

Where Dyes in another example which vary in “rare” catagory of the follow in average 15-35 gold, 40-60 gold, and 75-89 gold.

Which would take a couple of weeks for a casual or 2 weeks for grinder to reach those prices or cheat and pay 15-35 dollars worth of gems to Arenanet.

I cannot understand or for see how a value of a virtual items to hundreds or thousands of dollars, exceeds its worth.

Just seems crazy to me.

Please, please…. do not nerf these final bosses or the area that has tons of traps to defeat the core in any shape, form, or way.

That was the BEST encounter that I have ever seen in game mechanics and over all, for a dungeon group.; makes other games that have raiding encounters, a joke.

That was very well laid out game mechanic and encounter and would like to see more insane breath taking realistic fights like this in the future.

Actually I find it more hilarious that you think World of Warcraft game content are original and never copies from other MMOs.

Your world is so… small.

Edit: And ideas from Movies as well.

The only thing you have proven to me my friend, is that your only idea and arguments are statements of information from World of Warcraft that you want to believe WoW has offered more content than Guild Wars 2.

I played the game from patch 5.1-5.2; first hand experience. You no longer play. You can throw out any information just to make sure sound like you know what you are saying.

I also have played on the (PTR-Public Test Realms) of Patch 5.3. All that content, heck, Mist of Pandaria expansion, is nothing more than copying Guild Wars 2 content.

Nothing is original. Now mate, I’ll give ya a real chance. You give me a list of WoW’s Time line of content, which I have my version right here and updated as always; and try to tell me what is an original idea or better content that WoW has given that is not a copy of Guild Wars 2.

Then I will politely sit here and post all my notes which reflects the times and dates of what Guild Wars 2 has offered that World of Warcraft did not copy/steal for their own and called it “Mist of Pandaria”.

Problem is mate, you said you “were” playing WoW. I have no idea when you left and/or when you went back, or what raids you are exposed too.

You are basically pointing yourself out to be an out dated player that is just basically throwing out air that Blizzard offers more than Guild Wars 2, yet you are no longer a player.

I have to say mate, it was a good try to Troll your way in this discussion, but I see you have a lot of to learn if you want to be a WoW fan boy or bother to compare accurate video game data up for debate to even make yourself or your points valid.

Edit: Grammar/typo clean up.

Wait… wait wait a minute here. If you don’t play World of Warcraft, how in the world do you even know what a raid is?

You can read about it, but doesn’t mean you have first hand experience it.

You just contradicted yourself mate on your entire point. Good Show!

Raids my friend are so… 2006.

I went back to WoW and played a single month of subscription during patch 5.1 to 5.2 and took me 1 week to level up to 90, 1 week to get gear from dungeon while doing (LFR-Looking for Raid), wasted a week on almost exalting all the reputations, in the final week I had gotten most of the LFR gear and was looking for a 10 man /25 man raid.

You know what was so kitten annoying about this?

- Looking for active raiding guilds.
- Looking for an active raiding guild that was doing older raid content so I could get back to getting use to raiding.
- Looking for a none drama raiding guild that met my time lines.
- Listening to people argue and debate what do in the raid after researching and watching other videos and QQ about raid wipes on “Ventrilo”, “Team Speak 3”, “C3”, and a bunch other 3rd party talking programs; during the raid hours.

I am sick and tired of people saying that an MMO needs to have raids! No it doesn’t, its old its boring and if you dont kill the boss, you dont see the content now do you?

And yes LFR exist but other players in that entire base belittles you if you dont have normal raid gear.

If that’s the kind of MMO you want, stay on World of Warcraft, but DO NOT bring your vile putrid ways to Guild Wars 2.

You are not welcomed here!

World of Warcraft will always be a joke of an MMO and will always copy/steal other MMO ideas that catches on with the population.

There is nothing you can say that can convenience me or plain fact in the history of MMOs; otherwise.

Note: Also you said you wanted proof about raids in GW2, well there is a topic on general forums about the raids put in for Orr Zone and you can read the discussion there. Alot of people find it boring because it uses similar ideas and mechanics of a standard raid is, that WoW uses for expansions every patch/expansion update.

Are you people serious?

Patch 5.1 and Patch 5.2, more dailys and more dailys. A joke of a story.

Patch 5.3 offers more dailys.

Making more scenarios which is no different than what Guild Wars 2 offers in dungeons.

On top of that, they are doing their own Living Story by removing Garrosh as leader which again, is no different than this “Living Story – Frost and Flame”.

Also to copy Guild Wars 2 even more, they are completely changing PvP gear by removing resilience, on top of that PvE gear now down Ilvls to PvP gear.

Making more PvP cosmetics which Guild Wars 2 already does for their PvP fan base.

Seriously people, if you call World of Warcraft patches, content, you are crazy. Nothing that WoW has done to offer in content is original and can be related right back to Guild Wars 2 content.

Edit: Also I want to just point this out.

I notice that in the new patch for World of Warcraft content, they are copying Guild Wars 2, even more.

By changing their loot system drastically to get loot much more often where as in Guild Wars 2, getting loot is not an issue and allows you to group up with anyone.

This also include WoW nerfing the Reputation requirements for gear and nerfing the cost of purchasing gear, to almost nothing.

There are also adding a new battle ground in because Guild Wars 2 offers different battlegrounds almost every 1-2 months. Which is way more progressive that WoW’s PvP with Arena and BGs.

Since WoW abandoned World PvP like Wintergrasp and Conquest for any future content of that field, WvWvW exist in Guild Wars 2 which is a HELL alot more impressive than WoW’s version of World PvP and GW2’s version host hundreds of players.

Guys you are really being un fair, they are aware of the issue and will fix the problem very soon.

On top of that, you are complaining about Live one time event Content which is a step of a different direction than rehashed repeated boring contented of World of Warcraft which only provides content every 3 months and so call proclaim that it will never happen again.

Honestly people, no resources were wasted, the more different variety of content they can throw out for people to enjoy or try something different, makes the MMO much more alive than the current ones we know that are out dated.
