Change the skill icon for Hammer 3. It doesn’t fit.
Hammer 2: Electro Whirl has only 1 whirl finnisher, wasn’t it suppose to be 2?
Hammer 3: Makes you jump off edges. The animation is very Unsmooth. The skill icon doesn’t really match the other ones, you have 4 brown themed icons and 1 yellow. The picture makes no sence.
Healing Gyro doesn’t heal enough
Sneak Gyro moves too slow
All of them has too short duration.
Love the concept though. +100.

They better not put the Greatsaw skin back in the game. I bought mine for an insanely amount of gold. It was a few hundred past a thousand.

Dragonhunter has only 1 super-mini-tiny wing animation. It needs more of that to “wrap up the concept”
I like the astral concept. In the future we’re gonna see more elite Specializations and i’m sure they’ll wrap up the Ranger theme for you very well.
I also hope the professions who got “less fortunate specializations” this time (guardian, elementalist) will get awsome specializations next time!
Will there be more armor skins (not costumes), appart from the specialization pieces, available with heart of thorns?

Just unsheathe your weapon before running, you can bind a key for that and it doesn’t reduce your movement speed

The Mistward Armor Chestpiece does not dye in the same hue as the other pieces.
The charr in the pictures attached has the “plate-parts” dyed in normal Abyss,
the other colours are Shadow Abyss and Cherry.
The chestpiece needs to be just as dark as the other parts of the same material.
For those of us playing this game mainly for character cosmetics, these kind of things are disturbing !

I’d like to think he’s a master Engineer who went to study with Charr in the Black Citadel for many years, Divinity’s Reach is his home though.
His look fit’s the theme, and fits Arenanet’s example engi’s very well.
Pretty good guesses, I’d say.
I’m guessing something like this:Elementalist: Sword (Huge fan support for this, no doubt this’ll be next).
Engineer: Mace (seems likely)
Guardian: Axe or more likely an offhand Mace or Sword, I think. (Guns do not fit, imo).
Mesmer: Main hand pistol, offhand dagger or maybe a bow?
Necromancer: Offhand Axe, or shield. (I’m guessing offhand of some sort next).
Thief: Rifle (pretty clear fans demand this haha)
Revenant: Greatsword (Also a very likely choice)
Ranger: Hammer, scepter or maybe focus? (Could see more magic based e-specs)
Warrior: Pistol or Staff (though pistol seems more likely)Personally I’d more like to see these options though:
Elementalist: Sword (This one sound cool for the future – melee Ele could be sweet).
Engineer: Dagger (off hand or main – commando lives! Close combat could be great!)
Guardian: Axe, or offhand mace or preferably offhand sword (no guns please o.o).
Mesmer: Longbow or Shortbow (amazing possibilities) or maybe axe?
Necromancer: Torch (like a lantern of the dead sort of thing).
Thief: Rifle (Assassin/Sniper does feel appropriate).

Ranger: Hammer, Scepter or Focus (I can see future specs being mystical)

As far as I can tell ANet designed the armours (a fair number at least) for a human and the stretches it to fit Charr, Norn and Asura (well in that case squishes instead of stretches).
Normally, yes, but the armor on the left is a Norn racial armor and the mesh is unique to male Norn. If it has blurry or stretched textures, it’s because they did a bad job from the get go.
There’s actually a lot of examples of this where female armor will have much crisper, more detailed textures than the male counterpart despite not having many more polys either way.
This isn’t nearly as prevalent now so I suspect it’s a result of the rushed release of the game.
It is true that the left Armor is the Racial T3. Which tells us that it’s rly not another armor “stretched out” !
I dont know how they do it. But why dont they just “Remake it from the scratch” when they put it on another race. So that we won’t need to have blurry gear.

Also someone mentioned playing female. I used to play all female. I dont have a single one anymore cuz their running animation is so wierd. The green norn on the left used to be female.
I’d like to see an improvement of Norn Armor textures. They are rly, rly blurry.
I get that it’s because of the size but it is kinda disturbing,
Here’s an example from a cutscene.
My Ranger and my Necromancer:
• Loving the reaper, Loving the reaper shroud and i can’t wait till’ i can wear a reaper hood and still have my eyes glowing (in beta i used an all-shadow-abyss Arah helm, it covered my glowing eyes). We need a bit more damage to the Greatsword Skills. We also need to make the pull skill more effective.
• Loving the Animations of the tempest overloads. I acctualy think it’d be fair if they where uninteruptable.
• Loving the way my character speaks when in action. I must also point that i greatly enjoyed the cutscenes
• what i dont love is that the game’s not Done yet ! Hurry Hurry !

1. Chilled to the Bone.
This one is cool, but it needs to be 60 seconds recharge, not 120 seconds.
2. Gravedigger.
It’s not as strong as I imagined, I’d like to have it insant recharged if i hit some1 under 50% health, or have it deal more damage. (Perhaps shorter cast time?)
3. Death Spiral.
This one needs to have it’s range increased alittle. I always overestimate it’s range.
4. Grasping Darkness.
This one needs just alittle shorter Cooldown, perhaps alot shorter and the poison effect removed.
5. Your soul is mine.
Not rly a fan of this 1. I’ma PVE player but it doesn’t heal 4 very much.
6. Reaper Shroud Animation.
Awsome idea, it looks a bit “pixely” though.

Or just don’t bother. You might not look fabulous during this BETA; you’ll be able to earn more charges before the next one.
My intentions are to screenshot what I’ll look like. Necro with GS, Ele with Warhorn, etc.
I’m recreating my characters
Your beta character copies your normal account at its creation. So if you delete your beta character and recreate it, it should have as many transmutation shards as your normal account. At least it worked this way in previous betas. You can probably test this in one of your other beta slots.
That didn’t work, now i have no shards and no transmutated armor for any beta character
i did make another beta character and that one had no shards. So you mean if i delite the first one, there’ll be shards again?
How can i get more transmutation shards in beta?
I went to a non-beta-character and bought some but they didn’t appear!
I’m rly hoping for more medium armors to dress my Thief.
Should i expect some more armors other than the Revenant armor ?

Sneakthief Coat has the worst bug of all. It has a red line going straight through it. It’s been there sence the game launched.
Race: All
Sex: Male (and females wearing the male version)
Profession: Medium Armor
This red line appears more clearly while zooming out. It only appears on the front
They need (i’d say ‘NEED’ a thousand times) to make the charr smaller…
I hope this is an attempt to fix the charr size in the loggin screen. Needs fix after, is it 3 yrs soon?
I believe that set is kind of like the Whispers light armor set in that the shoulders aren’t visible; what looks like the shoulders is actually just part of the chest piece. That’s why the dyes don’t look like the dyes you used for the shoulders. The CoF light legs and chest have a similar effect (the chest covers the legs).
I know what you mean but i highly doubt that because the femle T3 do not have this problem, if you look at zojja for example, she isn’t wearing any shoulders.
if there’s a dye option, it rly should apply.
Asura Light T3 has bugged shoulders.
For the male; shoulders will show automaticly when you equip the chestpiece. The Dye options for shoulder does not affect the shoulders appearance, unless you remove the chestpiece.
My only problems with Female Human armor I have:
- Leggings – too many skirt like
- Boots – too many making a leg 3 times bigger
- Shoulder – way too big and too many are asymetric -and that applies to medium and light armor as well.
Nonono, shoulders should be bigger, boots should be smaler, period. I kinda Agree with this thread.
